- 病原体検出システムであって、
微小流体デバイスに統合されている免疫捕捉チャンバであって、微小流体チャネルを通して前記免疫捕捉チャンバに供給されるターゲットを捕捉することができる免疫捕捉チャンバと、
前記免疫捕捉チャンバと関連付けられているDNA分析機構であって、前記微小流体デバイスに統合され、前記ターゲットに対してDNA分析を実行することができるDNA分析機構と、を備える、病原体検出システム。 - 請求項1に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記DNA分析機構は、PCRとCEとを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項2に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記免疫捕捉チャンバとは別のチャンバに、PCRが備えられている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項2に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記免疫捕捉チャンバに、PCRが備えられている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項2に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記PCR用のチャンバは、対象となる前記ターゲットを溶解して得られるDNAを増幅するために用いられる、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項3に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、PCRの増幅産物を分離および検出するために、エッチングされているキャピラリ電気泳動微小チャネルを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項6に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、放出されている病原体ゲノムDNAを精製するため、または、前記CE微小チャネルへの注入の前に、増幅されているDNAを脱塩および事前濃縮するために、DNA事前濃縮および浄化チャンバを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 病原体検出システムであって、
微小流体デバイスに統合されている免疫捕捉手段であって、微小流体チャネルを通して供給されるターゲットを捕捉することができる免疫捕捉手段と、
前記免疫捕捉手段と関連付けられているDNA分析手段であって、前記微小流体デバイスに統合され、前記ターゲットに対してDNA分析を実行することができるDNA分析手段と、を備える、病原体検出システム。 - 請求項8に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記DNA分析手段は、前記免疫捕捉手段とは別のPCRチャンバを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項9に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記PCRチャンバは、対象となる前記ターゲットを溶解して得られるDNAを増幅するために用いられる、病原体検出システム。
- モノリシックデバイス上の病原体検出システムであって、
前記モノリシックデバイスに統合されている複数の免疫捕捉チャンバであって、微小流体チャネルを通して前記免疫捕捉チャンバに供給されるターゲットを捕捉することができる複数の免疫捕捉チャンバと、
前記免疫捕捉チャンバと関連付けられている複数のDNA分析機構であって、前記モノリシックデバイスに統合され、前記ターゲットに対してDNA分析を実行することができる複数のDNA分析機構と、を備える、病原体検出システム。 - 請求項11に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記複数のDNA分析機構は、PCRとCEとを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項11に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバとは別のチャンバで、PCRが実行される、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項13に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、PCRの増幅産物を分離および検出するために、複数のエッチングされているキャピラリ電気泳動微小チャネルを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項14に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、放出されている病原体ゲノムDNAを精製するため、または、前記CE微小チャネルへの注入の前に、増幅されているDNAを脱塩および事前濃縮するために、複数の組み込みDNA事前濃縮および浄化チャンバを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項11に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記免疫捕捉チャンバは、さらに、ターゲットを精製および濃縮することができる、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項11に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記複数の微細加工されている免疫捕捉チャンバは、選択されている抗体を保持するよう構成されている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項17に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記選択されている抗体は、ビーズ、フリット、ゾル・ゲル、ゲル、またはポリマモノリスによって保持される、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項17に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記選択されている抗体は、前記捕捉チャンバ内に直接形成されている多孔質の表面で機能化されたポリマの成型ブロックによって保持される、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項19に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記成型ブロックは、モノマと多孔化剤とを含む前駆体混合物の光重合によって形成される、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項17に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバは、放射状に並列になるよう構成されている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項21に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバに接続され、前記捕捉されたターゲットを放出するために前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバを加熱することができるリング状のヒータを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項17に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバは、ガラス層の上に構成されている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項23に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記ガラス層は、モノリシック膜層に結合されている、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項23に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記ガラス層は、流体の流路を提供できる複数のエッチングされているチャネルを備える、病原体検出システム。
- 請求項25に記載の病原体検出システムであって、前記ガラス層と空気層とが、前記膜層を挟んでいる、病原体検出システム。
- 病原体分析のための方法であって、
モノリシックデバイスに統合されている複数の免疫捕捉チャンバに、微小流体チャネルを通じて被分析流体を供給する工程と、
前記免疫捕捉チャンバにおいて、前記被分析流体に関連するターゲットを捕捉する工程と、
前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバと関連付けられている複数のDNA分析機構を用いて、前記ターゲットに対してDNA分析を実行する工程とを備え、前記複数のDNA分析機構は、前記モノリシックデバイスに統合されている、方法。 - 請求項27に記載の方法であって、前記複数のDNA分析機構は、PCRとCEとを備える、方法。
- 請求項27に記載の方法であって、前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバとは別のチャンバに、PCR機構が備えられている、方法。
- 請求項29に記載の方法であって、前記複数のDNA分析機構は、対象となる前記ターゲットを溶解して得られるDNAを増幅するためのPCRチャンバを備える、方法。
- 請求項29に記載の病原体検出システムであって、さらに、PCRの増幅産物を分離および検出するために、複数のエッチングされているキャピラリ電気泳動微小チャネルを備える、方法。
- 請求項31に記載の方法であって、さらに、放出されている病原体ゲノムDNAを精製するため、または、前記CE微小チャネルへの注入の前に、増幅されているDNAを脱塩および事前濃縮するために、複数の組み込みDNA事前濃縮および浄化チャンバを備える、方法。
- 請求項27に記載の方法であって、前記免疫捕捉チャンバは、さらに、ターゲットを精製および濃縮することができる、方法。
- 請求項27に記載の方法であって、前記複数の微細加工されている免疫捕捉チャンバは、選択されている抗体を保持するよう構成されている、方法。
- 請求項34に記載の方法であって、前記選択されている抗体は、ビーズ、ゾル・ゲル、ゲル、またはポリマモノリスによって保持される、方法。

前記被分析流体に関連するターゲットを捕捉する手段と、
前記複数の免疫捕捉チャンバと関連付けられている複数のDNA分析機構を用いて、前記ターゲットに対してDNA分析を実行する手段とを備え、前記複数のDNA分析機構は、前記モノリシックデバイスに統合されている、装置。
