Description

The present invention relates to an axial gap motor in which a rotor is disposed on both end surfaces of a stator, and more particularly, to a novel structure that achieves miniaturization and high efficiency using a magnet (permanent magnet).

Conventionally, an axial gap motor useful for a drive motor of an electric vehicle or the like is provided with one simplest rotor and stator, and the rotor magnetic pole and the stator magnetic pole are respectively arranged in the circumferential direction on the opposite end surfaces of the rotor and the stator. Established. When the concentrated winding coil of the stator magnetic pole is energized and excited in order, the rotor rotates and the motor shaft rotates in accordance with the magnetic action of the stator magnetic pole and the rotor magnetic pole.

The axial gap motor has the advantage that the increase in the axial length associated with higher output is smaller than that of the radial type switched reluctance motor, and is lighter and smaller.

By the way, in this type of axial gap motor, there is one in which the rotor magnetic pole is constituted by a permanent magnet.

FIG. 21 shows an example of such a conventional axial gap motor. An axial gap motor (axial gap rotating electric machine) 100 in FIG. 21 has a configuration in which a disc-shaped rotor (rotor) 110 and a stator (stator) 120 are opposed to each other in the axial direction with a gap interposed therebetween. Salient poles 112 and permanent magnets 111 arranged discretely in the direction are provided as rotor magnetic poles. Therefore, magnet torque and reluctance torque can be used together. In the figure, 113 is a back yoke of the rotor 110, 121 is a projection as a stator 120 stator magnetic pole, 122 is a coil (winding) for exciting the salient pole 121, and 123 is a back yoke of the stator 120 (for example, patents). Reference 1 (see paragraphs [0010]-[0013], FIG. 1, etc.)).

FIG. 22 shows a rotor structure of another example of a conventional axial gap motor. The conventional axial gap motor having the rotor structure shown in FIG. 22 is one in which each rotor magnetic pole of the rotor is formed by a permanent magnet, and the rotor 200 has a rotor core 240, Two frame members 241 and 242 provided on both sides so as to sandwich the rotor core 240, and permanent magnets 243 and 244 provided in the plurality of magnet mold frame holes 241a and 242a of the frame members 241 and 242 respectively.

In this case, the rotor core 240 and the frame member 241 share the centrifugal force acting on the permanent magnet 243, so that the structure is robust, and the size of the permanent magnet 243 is reduced by reducing the thickness of the frame frame that receives the centrifugal force. (See, for example, Patent Document 2 (abstract, paragraphs [0031], [0054], FIG. 1, FIG. 2, etc.)).

Next, the applicant of the present application has already filed an application for an axial gap motor having a structure in which a stator is disposed on both end faces of a rotor (Japanese Patent Application No. 2009-011523).

FIG. 23 shows the structure of the already-applied three-phase drive axial gap motor 300. In the axial gap motor 300, rotors 320 and 330 are arranged on both end surfaces of the stator 310, and the rotor magnetic poles 321 and 331 are made of a soft magnetic material. It is a salient pole structure formed by, for example.

In the axial gap motor 300, stator magnetic poles 311 and 312 of each phase are arranged in the circumferential direction on one end face and the other end face in the axial direction of the stator 310, and the concentrated winding coils (see FIG. (Not shown), the stator magnetic poles 311 of each phase on one end face are excited to the N pole, and the stator magnetic poles 312 of each phase on the other end face are excited to the S pole in phase order. Further, rotors 320 and 330 are arranged on both sides of the stator 310 so as to face the stator 310, and the rotors 320 and 330 are each provided with a plurality of rotor magnetic poles 321 and 331 having a salient pole configuration in the circumferential direction. Further, a magnetic path between the rotors 320 and 330 is formed by an annular magnetic path forming member 340 that passes through the core hole of the stator 310.

Then, the concentrated winding coils of the stator magnetic poles 311 and 312 on both end faces of the stator 310 are energized and excited in sequence, whereby the stator 310 is excited to the N pole while the magnetic pole position on one end face moves in the circumferential direction. While the magnetic pole position on the other end face does not move in the circumferential direction, it is excited to the S pole, and the rotors 320 and 330 are rotated by the magnetic action of the rotor magnetic poles 321 and 331 facing the stator magnetic poles 311 and 312.

The conventional axial gab motor in which the rotor magnetic poles such as the axial gap motors described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are composed of permanent magnets has the following problems.

<1> The permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 forming the rotor magnetic poles may be demagnetized. Therefore, the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 require a magnet having a high coercive force, and as a result, there is a problem that the motor becomes expensive.

(1) Eddy current loss occurs in the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244, resulting in a high temperature. This is because the surfaces of the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 are directly exposed to magnetic field fluctuations caused by current ripples caused by slot ripple and switching.

(2) A magnetic field in the reverse direction is applied to the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244. Since the stator magnetic pole coil generates an alternating magnetic field (repetition of N and S poles), it is inevitable that a reverse magnetic field is applied to the magnetic poles of the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244. In the case of the axial gap motor of Patent Document 1, in order to utilize the reluctance torque in the reverse salient pole rotor structure (Ld <Lq), a magnetic field is generated by the coil 122 of the stator 120 in a direction that completely cancels the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 111. To do. In the case of the axial gap motor of Patent Document 2, a magnetic field that is out of phase with the magnetic flux of the permanent magnets 243 and 244 is generated by the stator coil to generate torque. A magnetic field in the opposite direction is applied.

When receiving a reverse magnetic field at a high temperature, the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 forming the rotor magnetic poles may be demagnetized. In order to increase the coercive force against the demagnetization, the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 need to be added with rare earth elements (Dy, Tb, etc.), and the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 become expensive.

<2> When the rotor rotates at a high speed, centrifugal force is applied to the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244, so that there is a problem that measures for holding and preventing damage are required.

Specifically, as in Patent Document 2, a robust magnet holding structure in which the centrifugal force acting on the permanent magnets 243 and 244 is shared by the rotor core 240 and the frame member 241 is required. Since the stress generated in the permanent magnets 111, 243, and 244 is unavoidable, some measures for preventing damage (for example, limiting the maximum number of revolutions and a robust magnet holding structure) are required.

The present invention aims to reduce the size and increase the efficiency by using an inexpensive magnet (permanent magnet) in an axial gap motor having a structure in which a rotor is arranged on both end sides of a stator. Another object is to eliminate the need for a holding structure.

In order to achieve the above-described object, the axial gap motor of the present invention is arranged such that each stator magnetic pole arranged circumferentially on one end face in the axial direction has N poles and circumferentially arranged on the other end face in the axial direction. A stator having a coil for exciting each stator magnetic pole to the S pole, a rotor disposed on both sides of the stator so as to face the stator, and a plurality of rotor magnetic poles disposed in the circumferential direction, and a center hole of the stator An axial gap motor having a magnetic path forming member that forms a magnetic path between the rotors through the stator, the magnetic path between the stator and the rotor having the same orientation as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the coil A magnet for generating a field is arranged (claim 1).

In the axial gap motor of the present invention, the stator includes one end surface side portion and the other end surface side portion, and magnets are disposed between the both end surface side portions of the stator. (Claim 2).

Further, in the axial gap motor of the present invention, the magnet between the both end face side portions of the stator is ring-shaped, and the magnet between the both end face side portions and the both end face side portions of the stator is formed from the rotor magnetic pole. It is wide in the radial direction (claim 3).

In addition, the axial gap motor of the present invention is characterized in that at least a part of the magnetic path forming member is formed of a magnet (claim 4). Furthermore, the magnet forming at least a part of the magnetic path forming member has a ring shape (Claim 5).

Further, the axial gap motor of the present invention is characterized in that the magnet forming at least a part of the magnetic path forming member has an end area larger than the total area of the rotor magnetic poles of the energized phase of the rotor. 6).

Moreover, the axial gap motor of the present invention is characterized in that a magnet is disposed between the magnetic path forming member and the inner peripheral side of the magnetic pole of the rotor.

Moreover, the axial gap motor of the present invention is characterized in that a magnet is arranged so as to surround the rotor magnetic pole of the rotor.

In the axial gap motor according to the first aspect of the present invention, the magnetic flux between the stator and the rotor advances in one direction and does not alternate. And, in the magnetic path between the stator, the rotor, and the magnetic path forming member that connects the rotors, a magnet (permanent magnet) that generates a field in the same direction as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the stator magnetic pole coil is arranged. The magnet is not demagnetized.

In addition, a magnet that generates a magnetic field in series in the magnetic path of the motor between the stator and the rotor (the magnetic resistance seen from the coil is large and corresponds to a large gap) is inserted, so that the inductance of the coil is reduced and the current is reduced. Rise is faster.

Further, when the arrangement (phase) of the stator magnetic poles on both ends of the stator is shifted and the stator magnetic poles on both ends are overlapped in the axial direction, double the number of N poles and S poles are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. In this state, the magnetic path of the phase to which excitation is switched crosses the magnetic path of the already excited phase, the common part of the magnetic path is magnetically saturated, and the inductance is reduced. There is also an advantage that the rise of current is faster.

Therefore, it is possible to reduce the size and increase the efficiency with an inexpensive configuration using an inexpensive and thin magnet.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 2, the stator is divided at the center of the yoke, and has the same orientation as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the stator pole coil between the one end face side and the other end face side of the stator. Since the magnet for generating the field is disposed, the magnet is not demagnetized. Further, there is an advantage that the magnetic flux is averaged by the stator without exposing the magnet to the pulsation of the magnetic flux. Moreover, since the stator does not rotate, a robust magnet holding structure is not required.

Therefore, it is possible to achieve downsizing and high efficiency at a lower cost with a configuration that does not require a robust magnet holding structure.

In the case of the axial gap motor according to the third aspect of the present invention, the magnet between the end face side portions of the stator can be easily realized in a ring shape. In addition, since both end side portions of the stator and the magnet between the both end side portions are wider in the radial direction than the rotor magnetic poles, magnetic flux can be dispersed, local magnetic saturation is unlikely to occur, and magnetic flux is reduced (torque reduction). As a result, it is possible to further reduce the size and increase the efficiency.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 4, as a magnet that generates a field having the same direction as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the stator pole coil, it is long and large in the motor axial direction instead of at least a part of the magnetic path forming member. Since a magnet can be arranged, it can be formed with higher efficiency with a structure resistant to demagnetization, and a low-grade, more inexpensive magnet can be used as the magnet. Further, since the magnets are arranged away from the stator and the rotor, they are not affected by the heat generation of the stator coils and magnetic poles. Further, the fluctuation of the magnetic flux is small, the heat generation (vortex loss) of the magnet itself is small, and the temperature of the magnet can be lowered. In addition, the magnet is provided at a position close to the motor shaft and is not easily affected by centrifugal force.

Therefore, further downsizing and higher efficiency can be achieved with a more inexpensive configuration.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 5, the magnet forming at least a part of the magnetic path forming member can be easily realized in a ring shape and can be formed in a structure stronger against centrifugal force.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 6, the magnet forming at least a part of the magnetic path forming member has an end area larger than the total area of the rotor magnetic poles of the energized phase of the rotor, The magnetic path cross-sectional area is secured to prevent magnetic flux leakage, and the gap magnetic flux density between the rotor magnetic pole and the stator magnetic pole can be increased more than the surface density magnetic flux of the magnet, further reducing the size and increasing the efficiency. Can be planned.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 7, the space left between the magnetic path forming member and the inner peripheral side of the magnetic pole of the rotor is effectively used, and the same direction as the magnetic field by excitation of the stator magnetic pole coil The magnets that generate the field can be arranged to reduce the size and increase the efficiency with an inexpensive configuration.

In the case of the axial gap motor of the present invention according to claim 8, the magnet arranged so as to surround the rotor magnetic pole generates a field having the same direction as the magnetic field generated by the excitation of the stator magnetic pole coil so that no reverse magnetic field is applied. Thus, it is possible to reduce the size and increase the efficiency with an inexpensive configuration.

Next, in order to describe the present invention in more detail, embodiments will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In these drawings, the motor shaft and the like are omitted as appropriate.

(First embodiment)
A first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

FIG. 1A is an axial sectional view showing a configuration of a three-phase A, B, C drive axial gap motor 1a of this embodiment, and FIG. 1B is a diagram of the motor shaft 2 of the axial gap motor 1a. It is the end view seen from the output side (paper surface left side). As shown in these drawings, the two rotors (rotor cores) 3a and 3b are each mounted with a disk-shaped yoke 31 on the motor shaft 2 of FIG. The motor shaft 2 is formed of a non-magnetic material, and has a diameter that increases in order from the output side in consideration of retaining, etc. One stator 4 is arranged between the rotors 3a and 3b. The stator 4 has a disk-shaped yoke 41, and a central hole 42 having a large diameter of the yoke 41 passes through the motor shaft 2 in a loosely inserted state. The cylindrical magnetic path forming member 5 passes through the center hole 42 while being mounted on the motor shaft 2, and both end surfaces of the magnetic path forming member 5 are in contact with and extend from the end surfaces of the rotors 3 a and 3 b facing the yoke 31. The magnetic path forming member 5 is connected to the rotors 3a and 3b to form a magnetic path between the rotors 3a and 3b. The yokes 31 and 41 are made of a soft magnetic material.

Further, in each of the rotors 3a and 3b, for example, eight rotor magnetic poles 6 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction on the end surface facing the stator 4. The stator 4 has, for example, twelve stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b in order of A phase, B phase, and C phase on one end face 41a side facing the rotor 3a and the other end face 41b side facing the rotor 3b. It is arranged at equal intervals in the direction.

2A and 2B are plan views of the end faces 41a and 41b of the stator 4 as viewed in the directions of the arrow lines D and E in FIG. As shown in these drawings, on one end face 41a side of the stator 4, twelve stator magnetic poles 7a that are all excited to the N pole by energizing the respective concentrated winding coils 8 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. On the other end face 41b side of the stator 4, twelve stator magnetic poles 7b that are all excited to the S pole by energization of the respective concentrated winding coils 8 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction.

3A and 3B are plan views of end faces 31a and 31b facing the stator 4 of the rotors 3a and 3b as seen in the directions of the arrow lines F and G in FIG. 1A. As shown in the drawings, all the rotor magnetic poles 6 on the end face 31a of the rotor 3a are all S poles, and all the rotor magnetic poles 6 on the end face 31b of the rotor 3b are all N poles.

At this time, the arrangement of the stator magnetic pole 7a on the one end face 41a side of the stator 4 and the stator magnetic pole 7b on the other end face 41b side is shifted in the circumferential direction. The stator magnetic pole 7b is located between the stator 4 and the axial gap motor 1a is equivalent to the case where the number of magnetic poles of the stator 4 is doubled to 24, and the magnetic flux is dispersed correspondingly to reduce the thickness of the yoke 41. be able to.

Each of the rotor magnetic poles 6 on the end faces 31a and 31b may be a so-called salient pole. However, in the case of this embodiment, a magnetic field is generated and the magnetic flux in the magnetic path between the rotors 3a and 3b and the stator 4 is positively generated. In order to increase, each is formed by a magnet (permanent magnet) and has the opposite polarity to the opposing stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b. The magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6 generates a field having the same direction as the magnetic field generated by the excitation of the coil 8 in the magnetic path between the stator 4 and the rotors 3a and 3b.

In the axial gap motor 1a, the coils 8 of the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b of the stator 4 are excited in the order of the A phase, B phase, and C phase every 120 degrees by three-phase driving. At this time, the stator 4 has a configuration in which the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b of both end faces 41a and 41b are connected by the yoke 41. The axial gap motor 1a includes a shaft between the stator 4, the rotors 3a and 3b, and the rotors 3a and 3b. The magnetic path forming member 5 that forms the magnetic path in the direction forms a solid magnetic path in which the magnetic flux advances in the axial direction and the circumferential direction.

Then, by the above-described three-phase driving, the electrical angle is shifted by 120 degrees, and the four A-phase stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b are energized and excited, and the four B-phase stators adjacent to the A-phase stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b. The energization excitation of the magnetic poles 7a and 7b and the energization excitation of each of the four C-phase stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b adjacent to the magnetic poles 7a and 7b are sequentially repeated, and the motor shaft 2 rotates. At this time, due to the magnetic field generated by the excitation of the coil 8, the magnetic flux comes out of the N-pole stator magnetic pole 7b, passes through the rotor magnetic pole 6 of the rotor 3b, the magnetic path forming member 5, and the rotor magnetic pole 6 of the rotor 3a. Enter 7a.

In this case, a field having the same direction as the magnetic field generated by the excitation of the coil 8 is generated in each rotor magnetic pole 6. Further, since the magnetic flux travels in one direction along the magnetic path between the stator 4 and the rotors 3a and 3b and does not alternate, the magnets of the rotor magnetic poles 6 are not demagnetized. That is, [i] no reverse magnetic field is applied to the magnet. [ii] Fluctuations in the magnetic flux of the magnet can be suppressed, and eddy currents inside the magnet can be prevented and temperature rise can be suppressed. [Iii] Since a magnet (a magnetic resistance viewed from the coil 8 is large and corresponds to a large gap) is inserted in series in the magnetic path, the coil 8 is in an equivalent state in which the inductance is smaller, Rise is faster. [Iv] When the arrangement (phase) of the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b on the both end faces 41a and 41b of the stator 4 is shifted and superimposed in the direction of the motor shaft 2, the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b having different phases in the circumferential direction are different. Therefore, when the excitation phase is switched, the magnetic path of the newly excited phase straddles the magnetic path of the already excited phase, and the common part of the magnetic path is magnetized. When saturation occurs, the inductance decreases, and the current rise can be accelerated.

Therefore, the axial gap motor 1a has the following effects.

(1) Torque can be improved by utilizing the field magnetic flux of the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6, and it is lightweight, small and highly efficient.

(2) Since the rise of the current can be made faster, there is an advantage that the output can be increased particularly at a high speed.

(3) Since the gap magnetic flux is increased, the size is further reduced.

(4) Since no reverse magnetic field is applied to the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6, the demagnetization rate of the magnet can be improved and the reliability can be improved. Low-grade and inexpensive magnets with a reduced amount of rare earth elements added to increase the coercive force can be used.

(5) The eddy current inside the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6 can be reduced to suppress the temperature rise. Also from this point, a low grade inexpensive magnet can be used as the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6, and the axial gap motor 1a can be formed at a low cost by reducing the magnet cost.

(6) By arranging the magnet at a place where centrifugal force is not applied or a place where the centrifugal force can be reduced, it is possible to prevent breakage of the magnet without providing a robust magnet holding structure, and to improve reliability.

And the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6 may be one lump magnet or an aggregate magnet of a plurality of magnet pieces.

By the way, each rotor magnetic pole 6 may arrange an auxiliary magnet on at least a radial or circumferential side surface of the magnetic pole. As for the polarity of the auxiliary magnet, the surface in contact with each rotor magnetic pole 6 may be the same as the magnetic pole of the end face of the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6.

FIG. 4 shows a case where auxiliary magnets 9 are arranged on the three side surfaces in the radial and circumferential directions around the rotor magnetic pole 6. In this case, the auxiliary magnet 9 can increase the magnetic flux density of the magnetic poles, so that the torque is further increased. improves.

The magnetic pole surface of each rotor magnetic pole 6 may be covered with a magnetic material such as an electromagnetic steel plate.

FIG. 5 shows a case where the magnetic pole surface of the rotor magnetic pole 6 is covered with a magnetic body 10 such as an electromagnetic steel plate. In this case, the eddy current inside the magnet of the rotor magnetic pole 6 can be reduced, and an increase in the magnet temperature can be suppressed. That is, fluctuations in the magnetic field caused by current pulsation caused by throttling or switching are received and smoothed by the magnetic body 10 and can be dispersed on the magnet surface of the rotor magnetic pole 6, thereby reducing the eddy current loss of the magnet of the rotor magnetic pole 6. An increase in magnet temperature can be suppressed.

Further, when the magnetic pole surface of the rotor magnetic pole 6 is covered with the magnetic body 10, the magnetic flux density on the magnetic pole surface of the rotor magnetic pole 6 can be increased. Since the saturation magnetic flux density of the magnetic body (for example, electromagnetic steel plate) 10 is higher than the residual magnetic flux density of the magnet (permanent magnet) of the rotor magnetic pole 6, the magnetic pole area of the magnet (permanent magnet) is larger than the magnetic pole surface area of the magnetic body 10. Then, the magnetic flux density on the magnetic pole surface of the rotor magnetic pole 6 can be increased by concentrating the magnetic flux of the magnet of the rotor magnetic pole 6 on the magnetic flux of the magnetic body 10.

Further, the magnetic body 11 protruding from the yoke 31 may be provided on the inner peripheral side of each rotor magnetic pole 6.

FIG. 6 shows a case where the magnetic body 11 protruding from the yoke 31 and connected in a ring shape is provided on the inner peripheral side of each rotor magnetic pole 6. In this case, a sufficient magnetic path cross-sectional area is secured to reduce the magnetic flux. Can be prevented. The magnetic paths of the rotors 3a and 3b are inward (or outward) in the radial direction. At this time, the inner peripheral side is closer to the center of the sector, so that the magnetic path cross-sectional area is reduced. When the extension part protruding inward from each rotor magnetic pole 6 and connected in a ring shape is formed, the magnetic path of the joint surface between each rotor magnetic pole 6 and the magnetic path forming member 5 is widened to compensate for the inner magnetic path cross-sectional area, The output can be further increased. In addition, the protrusion part of the magnetic body 11 may be only a radial rib shape or a ring shape. Further, the protruding magnetic body 11 may be in contact with the magnet of each rotor magnetic pole 6 or the auxiliary magnet 9 provided simultaneously.

The magnet of the rotor magnetic pole 6, the yoke 31, the auxiliary magnet 9, and the protruding magnetic body 11 may be stored and held in the rotor housing.

7, the rotor housing 12 accommodates the magnet of the rotor magnetic pole 6, the yoke 31, the auxiliary magnet 9 (not shown), and the protruding magnetic body 11 (not shown), and is fixed by a resin mold or the like to attach the rotor 3a. The case where it forms is shown and the rotor 3b can be formed similarly. In this case, there is an advantage that a robust magnet holding structure that can withstand centrifugal force can be realized by a simple and inexpensive resin mold or the like.

FIG. 8A is an axial side view showing the configuration of the three-phase A, B, and C drive axial gap motor 1b of this embodiment, and FIG. 8B is a diagram of the motor shaft 2 of the axial gap motor 1b. It is the end view seen from the output side (paper surface left side). In these drawings, the same reference numerals as those in FIGS. 1A and 1B denote the same or corresponding parts.

The axial gap motor 1b includes an axial gap motor 1a or a rotor pole 6 of the axial gap motor 1a having a magnetic salient pole. The stator 4 is a yoke on one end face 41a side portion (front side portion). 41α and a yoke 41β on the other end surface 41b side (back side portion), and the magnet 13 is arranged between the yokes 41α and 41β.

FIGS. 9A and 9B are plan views of the end surfaces 41a and 41b of the stator 4 viewed in the directions of the arrow lines H and I in FIG. 8A, and are the same as FIGS. 2A and 2B. Configuration, magnetic pole arrangement.

The magnet 13 has a thin ring shape, for example, and generates a field in the same direction as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the coil 8 in the magnetic path between the stator 4 and the rotors 3a and 3b. One end face on the side is magnetized to the N pole, and one end face on the other end face 41b side is magnetized to the S pole, and the magnetic flux excited by the coil 8 is strengthened.

By doing in this way, the axial gap motor 1b can be reduced in weight, size, and high output, reducing the cost of the magnet 13. FIG. Since the magnet 13 is not subjected to a magnetic field in the reverse direction, a low-grade product in which the amount of rare earth element added is suppressed can be used. When the same grade magnet is used, the axial gap motor 1b can be reduced in weight and size by making the magnet 13 thinner.

FIG. 10 shows an example of the shape of the magnet 13, and the magnet 13 may be formed by a single ring-shaped magnet, or may be formed in a ring shape by collecting a plurality of partial arc-shaped divided magnet pieces. .

Next, the yokes 41α and 41β of the axial gap motor 1b are arranged on the outer and inner sides of the stator magnetic poles 41a and 41b as shown by the arrow lines in FIG. It is extended to the circumferential side and is wide in the radial direction. The area of the magnet 13 is larger than the total area of the magnetic poles of the rotor magnetic pole 6 that are excited simultaneously.

FIG. 11 shows the rotor magnetic poles 6 that are excited simultaneously in the axial gap motor 1b, and the four rotor magnetic poles 6 that are filled are simultaneously excited.

Further, by extending the yokes 41α and 41β to the outer peripheral side and the inner peripheral side with respect to the stator magnetic poles 41a and 41b, local magnetic saturation is less likely to occur, and a decrease in magnetic flux (a decrease in torque) can be prevented. This is because not only the circumferential direction but also the radial direction (outer peripheral side, inner peripheral side) can be used as the magnetic path of the rising portion from the magnet 13 to the yokes 41α and 41β, and the magnetic flux can be dispersed.

Further, by making the area of the magnet 13 larger than the total area of the magnetic poles of the rotor magnetic poles 6 excited simultaneously, the gab magnetic flux density can be increased and the axial gap motor 1b can be reduced in size. Generally, the saturation magnetic flux density of the iron core is higher than the residual magnetic flux density Br of the magnet. Therefore, by concentrating the magnetic flux collected from the surface of the wide magnet 13 on the stator magnetic poles 7a, 7b of the iron core, the gab magnetic flux density can be made higher than when the stator magnetic poles 7a, 7b are formed of magnets. It is. And since the stator 4 does not rotate, it is not necessary to provide a robust magnet holding structure.

(Third embodiment)
A third embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

FIG. 12A is an axial side view showing the configuration of the three-phase A, B, C drive axial gap motor 1c of this embodiment, and FIG. 12B is a diagram of the motor shaft 2 of the axial gap motor 1c. It is the end view seen from the output side (paper surface left side). In these drawings, the same reference numerals as those in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b) and FIGS. 8 (a) and 8 (b) denote the same or corresponding components.

The axial gap motor 1c is, for example, an axial gap motor 1a or a magnetic pole forming member 14 in which each rotor magnetic pole 6 of the axial gap motor 1a is a salient pole of a magnetic material. The magnetic shim 15 for adjusting the length is disposed in the remaining portion, and the magnetic path forming member 5 is replaced with a magnet 14 and a magnetic shim 15.

FIGS. 13A and 13B are plan views of the end surfaces 41a and 41b of the stator 4 as viewed in the directions of the arrow lines J and K in FIG. 8A, and are the same as FIGS. 2A and 2B. Configuration, magnetic pole arrangement.

FIGS. 14A and 14B show the magnetic shim 15 and the magnet 14, respectively, which are ring-shaped, and in the magnetic path between the stator 4 and the rotors 3 a and 3 b, a field having the same direction as the magnetic field generated by the excitation of the coil 8. In order to generate magnetism, one end face on the one end face 41 a side of the stator 4 is magnetized to the S pole, and one end face on the other end face 41 b side of the stator 4 is magnetized to the N pole, and the magnetic flux excited by the coil 8 is strengthened.

Furthermore, the axial cross-sectional area of the magnet 14 is greater than the total surface area of the rotor poles that are excited simultaneously. Therefore, variations in motor torque and output can be reduced.

FIG. 15 shows the rotor magnetic poles 6 that are excited simultaneously in the axial gap motor 1c, and the four rotor magnetic poles 6 that are filled are simultaneously excited.

And since the magnet 14 is arrange | positioned instead of the magnetic path formation member 5, cost can be reduced and magnetic flux can be strengthened.

The magnet 14 can be a low-grade inexpensive magnet (for example, a ferrite magnet). That is, no reverse magnetic field is applied to the magnet 14. The magnet 14 can be long (thick). Thereby, since the permeance coefficient can be increased, it is easy to set the operating point so as not to demagnetize. In addition, the magnet 14 itself is less heated (vortex loss) due to the position away from the heating points such as the coil 8 and the magnetic poles 7a and 7b, and the fluctuation of the magnetic flux is small, and the temperature of the magnet 14 can be lowered. For these reasons, an inexpensive magnet can be used for the magnet 14.

Furthermore, since the magnet 14 is close to the motor shaft 2, it is strong and robust against centrifugal force.

Next, heat generation due to eddy current inside the magnet 14 can be prevented. As shown in FIG. 15, when the magnet 14 and the magnetic shim 15 are joined to the rotor magnetic pole 6, the magnetic flux from the rotor magnetic pole 6 (or to the rotor magnetic pole 6) is smoothed. A reduction in magnetic flux can be prevented by securing a magnetic path cross-sectional area. This is because the joined portion serves as an extension of the magnetic path of the rotors 3a and 3b, and the magnetic path from the rotor magnetic pole 6 to the joining surface can be supplemented.

The tolerance of the shape of the permanent magnet such as the magnet 14 has an advantage that it can be easily managed using the magnetic shim 15.

Then, the entire magnetic path forming member 5 may be replaced with the magnet 14, and it is also preferable to reinforce the outer periphery of the magnet 14 with a nonmagnetic sleep 51 or the like as shown in FIG.

(Fourth embodiment)
A fourth embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

FIG. 16A is a side view in the axial direction showing the configuration of the three-phase A, B, C drive axial gap motor 1d of the present embodiment, and FIG. 16B is a diagram of the motor shaft 2 of the axial gap motor 1d. It is the end view seen from the output side (paper surface left side). In these drawings, the same reference numerals as those in FIGS. 1A, 1B, 8A, 8B, 12A, and 12B denote the same or corresponding elements.

The axial gap motor 1d includes, for example, the axial gap motor 1a or the rotor magnetic poles 6 of the axial gap motor 1a having magnetic salient poles, and the magnetic path forming member 5 and the rotor magnetic poles 6 of the rotors 3a and 3b. This is a structure in which a magnet 16 is disposed between the inner peripheral side. Note that. In order to arrange the magnet 16, the rotor housing 12 of the rotors 3a and 3b is formed of a non-magnetic material.

And since the magnet 16 is arrange | positioned in the location used as a gap | interval, the axial gap motor 1d does not enlarge.

17 (a) and 17 (b) are plan views of the end faces 41a and 41b of the stator 4 as viewed in the directions of the arrow lines L and M in FIG. 16 (a), and FIG. 2 (a) and FIG. The same configuration and magnetic pole arrangement.

FIG. 18 shows a magnet 16, each of which has a ring shape, and generates a magnetic field in the same direction as the magnetic field generated by excitation of the coil 8 in the magnetic path between the stator 4 and the rotors 3 a and 3 b. The rotor 16a side magnet 16 into which the magnetic flux flows from the forming member 5 has an N pole on the magnetic path forming member 5 side and an S pole on the inner peripheral side of the rotor magnetic pole 6, and the rotor 3b side from which the magnetic flux flows out to the magnetic path forming member 5 The magnet 16 has an S pole on the magnetic path forming member 5 side and an N pole on the inner peripheral side of the rotor magnetic pole 6. By doing so, the magnetic flux is strengthened and the output increases. One of the magnets 16 may be provided.

Further, the rotors 3a and 3b are divided by the magnet 16 into a portion including the rotor magnetic pole 6 on the outer side and a portion connected in a ring shape including the joint portion of the magnetic path forming member 5 on the inner peripheral side from the magnet 16. The inner peripheral surface or end surface of the magnet 16 may be omitted, and the inner peripheral surface or end surface of the magnet 16 may be directly joined to the outer peripheral surface or end surface of the magnetic path forming member 5. Also good.

As shown in FIG. 19, the rotor magnetic pole 6 and the magnet 16 are housed in a non-magnetic rotor housing 12 and fixed by a mold resin or the like.

And it is preferable that the inner peripheral surface area (end area of the present invention) of the magnet 16 is larger than the total surface area of the rotor magnetic poles 6 excited simultaneously.

In this case, since the magnet 16 can use a low-grade magnet (for example, a ferrite magnet), it becomes inexpensive. That is, the magnet 16 is not subjected to a reverse magnetic field. Moreover, it arrange | positions in the position away from heat generating places, such as the coil 8 and the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b. Moreover, because the fluctuation of the magnetic flux is small, the heat generation (eddy current loss) of the magnet 16 itself is small, and the temperature of the magnet 16 can be lowered.

In addition, the nonmagnetic rotor housing 12 can prevent a short circuit magnetic path of the magnet 16 and thus prevent a decrease in the magnetic flux of the magnet 16. Furthermore, there is an advantage that the strength of the rotors 3a and 3b can be secured.

Furthermore, since the magnetic flux from the rotor magnetic pole 6 (or to the rotor magnetic pole 6) is smoothed at the joint surface with the rotors 3a and 3b, heat generation due to the eddy current inside the magnet 16 can be prevented.

Moreover, if the inner peripheral surface area of the magnet 16 is larger than the total surface area of the rotor magnetic poles 6 that are excited simultaneously, a sufficient magnetic path cross-sectional area can be secured to prevent a decrease in magnetic flux.

FIG. 20 shows the axial gap motor 1e in which the magnet arrangements of the first to fourth embodiments are implemented, and the magnetic flux does not alternate as shown by the arrow lines, and there is no straddle of excitation energization, and the rotors 3a, 3b. The stator 4 and the magnetic path forming member 5 are passed through.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications other than those described above can be made without departing from the spirit thereof, for example, the first to fourth embodiments. By implementing any one or a plurality of magnet arrangements in the form, it is possible to reduce the size and increase the efficiency by using an inexpensive magnet (permanent magnet).

Of course, the axial gap motor of the present invention may be configured to be driven in multiple phases of four or more phases. Further, the number of rotor magnetic poles 6 and stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b are not limited to those of the above-described embodiments. Furthermore, the magnetic poles of the stator magnetic poles 7a and 7b may be opposite to those of the embodiments.

The present invention can be applied to an axial gap motor for various uses such as a drive motor for an electric vehicle.
