Abstract
Description
‐タイヤを裏返しにして内壁をトーラスの外部に位置させると共に外壁をトーラスの内部に位置するようにするステップと、
‐タイヤのトーラス外壁を伸長させるステップと、
‐セルフシール手段をタイヤの内壁に被着させるステップと、
‐タイヤを裏返しにして内壁及び外壁をこれらの初期位置に戻すステップとを有することを特徴とする方法にある。
かくして、セルフシール層は、圧縮応力状態で極めて有利であり、これは、良好なセルフシールに寄与する。

G*:動的剪断弾性率(単位はMPa)
G′:実際の剪断弾性率(単位はMPa)
G″:損失弾性率(単位はMPa)
δ:課された変形と測定された応力との間の位相シフト
上述したようなセルフシール層11を備えた図1のタイヤを、加硫前又はその後に作ることができる。
Claims (16)
- 半径方向内方に開いたトーラスの形態をしていて、外壁及び内壁を備えたチューブレスタイヤにおいて、前記内壁の少なくとも一部は、ショア0スケール硬度が35未満の熱可塑性スチレン(TPS)エラストマーから成るセルフシール層で被覆されている、タイヤ。
- 前記セルフシール層のショア0スケール硬度は、20未満であり、好ましくは10未満である、請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 半径方向内方に開いたトーラスの形態をしていて、外壁及び内壁を備えたチューブレスタイヤにおいて、前記内壁の少なくとも一部は、動的弾性率G*が0.01MPa未満の熱可塑性スチレン(TPS)エラストマーから成るセルフシール層で被覆され、G*は、10Hzの周波数及び60℃の温度で測定される、タイヤ。
- 前記セルフシール層は、前記タイヤの内部キャビティに向いた側がフィルムで被覆されている、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記フィルムは、ポリエチレン(PE)フィルム、ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)フィルム、及びポリビニリデンクロリド(PVDC)フィルムから成る群から選択された延伸性熱可塑性フィルムである、請求項4記載のタイヤ。
- 前記TPSは、前記セルフシール層の主成分エラストマーである、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記TPSエラストマーは、スチレン/ブタジエン/スチレン(SBS)、スチレン/イソプレン/スチレン(SIS)、スチレン/イソプレン/ブタジエン/スチレン(SIBS)、スチレン/エチレン‐ブチレン/スチレン(SEBS)、スチレン/エチレン‐プロピレン/スチレン(SEPS)、スチレン/エチレン‐エチレン‐プロピレン/スチレン(SEEPS)ブロックコポリマー及びこれらコポリマーの配合物から成る群から選択される、請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記TPSエラストマーは、SEDSコポリマー、SEPSコポリマー、及びこれらコポリマーの配合物から成る群から選択される、請求項7記載のタイヤ。
- 前記セルフシール層は、200phr(ゴム又エラストマーの100部当たりの重量部)よりも多い量のエキステンダー油を含む、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- インフレーションガスに対して実質的に気密性であるゴム配合物から成り、実質的に、前記タイヤの前記内壁全体を被覆した気密層を更に有し、前記セルフシール層は、少なくとも一部が、前記タイヤの内部キャビティに向いた前記気密層の側を被覆している、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記セルフシール層は、前記タイヤのクラウンのところに配置されている、請求項1乃至10の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記タイヤは、サイクル用に適している、請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記セルフシール層の厚さは、0.6〜1.5mm、好ましくは0.8〜1.2mmである、請求項12記載のタイヤ。
- セルフシールラミネートを請求項12又は13記載のサイクル用タイヤの内壁に被着させる方法であって、
‐前記タイヤを裏返しにして前記内壁を前記トーラスの外部に位置させると共に前記外壁を前記トーラスの内部に位置するようにするステップと、
‐前記タイヤの前記トーラス外壁を伸長させるステップと、
‐前記セルフシール手段を前記タイヤの前記内壁に被着させるステップと、
‐前記タイヤを裏返しにして前記内壁及び前記外壁をこれらの初期位置に戻すステップとを有する、方法。 - 前記伸長は、内圧により行われる、請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤが所与の公称インフレーション圧力を有する場合、内圧は、前記公称圧力の0.5〜3倍である、請求項15記載の方法。
