Abstract
Description

Claims (23)

- 前記不連続部分が前記近位開口の遠位端に沿って配置されたノッチを含む、請求項2に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記ノッチが、前記シャフトの前記壁を貫通して前記壁の外表面と前記ルーメンとの間に延在する、請求項3に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記ノッチが前記近位開口の最小半径より小さい最小半径を有する部分を含む、請求項3に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記ノッチがV字型ノッチを含む、請求項3に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記ワイヤガイドが前記シャフトに対し遠位方向に引かれると、前記応力集中部が前記近位開口を通じて伸張するワイヤガイドによって係合されるよう構成される、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記シャフトの前記壁が裂断可能であって、前記ルーメン内部に配置されたワイヤガイドが前記ルーメンの横方向に前記シャフトの前記壁を通じて引き出されることを可能にする、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記シャフトが第1の材料と第2の材料とを含み、前記第1の材料は前記第2の材料より裂断性が高く、前記第1の材料が前記ルーメンと前記シャフトの外表面との間に前記連結領域の少なくとも一部分に沿って配置され、前記第1の材料は、前記ワイヤガイドと前記細長医療器具の前記シャフトとが互いに引き離されるときの前記ルーメン内部に配置された前記ワイヤガイドの外側に向く力によって裂断可能である、請求項8に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記シャフトが共押し出しされたシャフトを含む、請求項9に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記第1の材料が前記第2の材料のデュロメーター値と異なるデュロメーター値を有する、請求項9に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記第1の材料が前記第2の材料より脆弱である、請求項9に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記シャフトがある断面積を含んでなり、前記第1の材料を含んでなる断面積が前記シャフトの断面積の50パーセント未満である、請求項9に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記第1の材料が、前記シャフトの長手方向中心軸と略平行な経路に沿って裂断するように構成される、請求項9に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記シャフトの前記壁が、ミシン目、裂断線(split)、スロット、及び溝のなかの1つを備えることにより、前記ワイヤガイドが前記ルーメンから横方向に前記細長医療器具の前記シャフトの前記壁を通じて引き出されるときの前記壁の分離を促進する、請求項8に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記細長医療器具が括約筋切開刀を含む、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記細長医療器具がカニューレ挿入用のカテーテルを含む、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記近位開口が前記シャフトの前記近位端から離間して配置され、前記連結領域の長さが前記シャフトの長さより短い、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記近位開口が、前記シャフトの前記遠位端と前記近位端との間で離間した位置に前記シャフトの前記壁を貫通して配置された複数の中間開口を含み、各中間開口がその一部分に沿って応力集中部を備えることにより、前記シャフトの前記壁のうち前記中間開口に隣接した前記シャフトの前記壁の部分における破断力が低減される、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。
- 前記連結領域及び前記近位開口を通じて伸張するワイヤガイドであって、前記シャフトの前記壁を破断させ分離させるように前記応力集中部に係合するワイヤガイドをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の細長医療器具。

前記近位開口が前記シャフトの前記壁を貫通して配置され、前記シャフトの前記壁のうち前記近位開口に隣接し、前記分離手段と接する部分における破断力を低減させる破断手段を含む、細長医療器具。 - ワイヤガイドを細長医療器具から分離する方法において、
細長医療器具であって、前記細長医療器具の遠位端と近位端との間に延在するシャフトと、遠位開口と近位開口との間で前記シャフトの少なくとも一部分を貫通して伸張するルーメンであって、前記近位開口が前記シャフトの壁を貫通して配置され、前記シャフトの前記壁のうち前記近位開口に隣接する部分における破断力を低減するための応力集中部を備える、ルーメンとを有する、細長医療器具を提供するステップと、
ワイヤガイドを前記近位開口及び前記細長医療器具の前記ルーメンを通じて伸張させるステップと、
前記ワイヤガイドのうち前記近位開口から外に伸張する部分を、前記近位開口の前記応力集中部に近接した縁端に力がかかるように操作するステップであって、前記力が、前記シャフトの前記壁のうち前記近位開口に隣接した部分を破断させるのに十分である、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ワイヤガイドを横方向に動かして、前記ルーメンから前記シャフトの前記壁を通じて抜き出すステップをさらに含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
