Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a portable personal dosimeter, and more particularly, to a structure of a battery housing portion that houses a coin-type battery.
Personal dosimeters are carried by persons engaged in work to manage personal exposure in facilities that handle radiation and radioactive substances (see
If the spreading direction of the battery inserted into the battery housing portion is defined as a horizontal direction, the battery housing portion has a horizontal slit shape as a whole. In the battery housing portion, there is an insertion (extraction) opening on the front side in the battery insertion direction, and the battery housing portion has a hollow shape that extends from the insertion opening to the back side. In the coin-type battery, the upper surface and the side peripheral surface function as a positive electrode surface, and the lower surface functions as a negative electrode surface. Between batteries satisfying the same standard, the diameter and thickness are the same, but the shape of the side peripheral surface is not necessarily the same. Some have a cylindrical surface with a flat side surface, and some have a step on the side surface. In the latter battery, for example, the upper part is a large diameter part and the lower part is a small diameter part. In personal dosimeters, it is desirable to be able to use multiple types of batteries within the same standard.
Note that in the conventional personal dosimeter, a plus terminal and a minus terminal are generally provided on the bottom surface and the ceiling surface of the battery housing portion. That is, it can be said that a general structure is such that a plus terminal is brought into contact with the upper surface of the battery from above and a minus terminal is brought into contact with the lower surface of the battery from below. That is, as a result, the battery is sandwiched between the two terminals from above and below.
Since personal dosimeters are worn by workers for a long time and are intended to manage the safety of workers, a structure that is resistant to shock and vibration is required. In particular, it is required that the battery is stably held in the battery housing portion and that electrical contact is reliable. However, in the personal dosimeter of the type in which the battery is sandwiched between the plus terminal and the minus terminal, it is possible to obtain an elastic holding action in the vertical direction, and no elastic holding action occurs in the horizontal direction (left and right direction). Therefore, if the gap generated between the left and right inner walls in the battery housing portion and the side peripheral surface of the battery is large, the battery may not be stably held in the horizontal direction in the battery housing portion. Even if this is not the case, it is desirable to hold the battery by a strong elastic action for stable holding of the battery. However, if a complicated structure or a thick member is placed on the upper and lower sides of the battery in the battery housing part, It is against the request for thinner dosimeters.
An object of the present invention is to make it possible to stably hold a battery in a personal dosimeter while ensuring reliable contact with two electrode surfaces of the battery.
The present invention includes a coin-type battery having an upper surface and a side peripheral surface forming a positive electrode surface and a lower surface forming a negative electrode surface, and accepts the battery in a portable personal dosimeter operated by electric power from the battery. A battery housing part having an insertion opening, through which the battery is inserted from the horizontal direction, and a negative electrode contact member provided on a bottom surface in the battery housing part and configured by a conductive member having elasticity A pair of positive electrode contact members that are provided along an inner wall on one side and an inner wall on the other side of the battery housing portion and are made of a conductive member having elasticity, and the negative electrode contact member includes The battery contacts the lower surface of the battery accommodated in the accommodating portion with elasticity from below, and each positive electrode contact member is connected to the battery. Form that extends from a fixed end fixed to the back side of the container part to an action end located in the vicinity of the insertion opening through an intermediate part curved along the side peripheral surface of the battery accommodated in the battery accommodating part When the battery is inserted into the insertion opening, the working ends of the pair of positive electrode contact members abut against the side peripheral surface of the battery and the pair of positive electrode contact members are pushed apart in a direction away from each other, The battery is captured between intermediate portions of the pair of positive electrode contact members, and the captured state is maintained by the elastic action of the pair of positive electrode contact members.
According to the said structure, a battery is inserted in a battery accommodating part via an insertion opening. In the set state, the battery is elastically held by the pair of positive electrode contact members from the left and right sides, and the battery is held at the same time as the positive electrode surface of the battery is connected. At the same time, since the negative electrode contact member is in contact with the negative electrode surface on the lower side of the battery, conduction with respect to the negative electrode is thereby achieved. Since the pair of positive electrode contact members elastically hold the battery from both sides, it is possible to prevent the battery from moving or vibrating in the horizontal direction (front-rear direction, left-right direction) when the personal dosimeter is used. At the same time, the negative electrode contact member is elastically brought into contact with the negative electrode surface from the lower side of the battery, so that the negative electrode can be reliably connected, and also prevents vertical movement or vibration. An effect can be obtained. The elastic action of the negative electrode contact member may be smaller than the elastic action of the positive electrode contact member. The elastic force of the pair of positive electrode contact members is large so as not to cause the battery to jump out or drop off, or to cause poor positive electrode contact. It is desirable that the battery can be inserted and removed. In the above configuration, the battery can be held and the positive electrode can be connected by the same member, so that the number of parts can be reduced and the personal dosimeter can be miniaturized. Further, since a combination of contact from left and right and contact from below, that is, T-shaped contact, vibration, rattling or poor contact can be prevented or reduced in both the horizontal direction and the vertical direction.
Preferably, a contact piece protruding from an inner surface of the intermediate portion is provided at an intermediate portion of each positive electrode contact member. If the contact piece comes into contact with the battery side peripheral surface, the electrical connection can be ensured.
Desirably, a slit extending along the extending direction of the intermediate portion is provided in an intermediate portion of each positive electrode contact member, and each contact piece is a small piece that is extended and bent from an edge of each slit. is there. The slit also functions as a structure for adjusting the elastic force, and the contact piece can be easily formed by the slit.
Desirably, the inner wall surface on one side and the inner wall surface on the other side of the battery housing portion have recesses that partially receive the pair of positive electrode contact members when the pair of positive electrode contact members move open. . These indentations desirably accept the working end of the positive electrode contact member (when it opens and moves).
Preferably, the inner wall surface on one side and the inner wall surface on the other side of the battery housing portion are portions that contact the outer surface of the intermediate portion of the pair of positive electrode contact members, and follow the curved form of the intermediate portion. It has a curved portion that is curved. According to this configuration, the outer surface of the intermediate portion is partially held by the curved portion, and the positive electrode contact member can be prevented from moving outside more than necessary.
According to the present invention, in a personal dosimeter, the battery can be stably held while achieving reliable contact with the two electrode surfaces of the battery.
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of a personal dosimeter according to the present invention. The

7 and 8 show a state where the battery is removed from the
FIG. 9 shows a horizontal cross section of the
FIG. 10 shows a cross section of the
The fixed ends 44A and 46A have a bent shape, from which intermediate portions 44B and 46B extend, and they have a curved shape. The degree of curvature corresponds to the degree of curvature of the side peripheral surface of the battery. Through such intermediate portions 44B and 46B, when the battery is set, the working ends 44C and 46C are located on the outlet side from the center of the battery, and the working ends 44C and 46C are narrowed inward. Thus, the battery is securely held between the two
The
A
FIG. 11 shows the
As described above, according to the personal dosimeter according to the present embodiment, in the housing portion that houses the coin-shaped battery, the battery is firmly held from the horizontal direction by the pair of contact members, and the negative electrode from the lower side. Since the battery is pushed up from the lower side by the member, there is an advantage that the holding and conduction can be stabilized in both the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. Further, since the pair of contact members can be held together with the positive electrode conduction to the battery, there is an advantage that it is not necessary to prepare another member for holding or for conduction. That is, it is possible to reduce the number of parts and contribute to making the personal dosimeter thinner. Further, in the above-described embodiment, the left and right side walls of the housing portion are formed with curved portions and depressions, which can support the contact member from the outside and secure the necessary movable range. Even when used, there is an advantage that the deterioration can be reduced. This in turn improves the reliability of power supply.
