Abstract
【解決手段】流体ライン用のクイックコネクター継手は、貫通孔、凸状の環状アップセット部を有する管状雄型部材、及びコネクター本体へ取外し可能に結合されたリテーナを画成する雌型コネクター本体を含む。シールアセンブリーにより、管と本体孔部の間に流体の密封シールが与えられる。別体の外側スペーサーが本体へ固定されて、シールアセンブリーの軸方向負荷を受ける。本体は、軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面を有する離間されたアーチ状の係止レッジを画成している。外側スペーサーは、本体のレッジの係止面に対して半径方向に当接する関係の軸方向外方に向いている環状の半径方向当接面を画成している一体的な半径方向リングを含む連続する環状要素である。

Claims (21)
- クイックコネクター継手であって、
貫通孔と、管リテーナ部とシール室部とを画成するコネクター本体と、
該コネクター本体と雄型部材の円筒状シール面部との間に流体密封封止を提供するため該シール室部に配置されたシールアセンブリーと、
該貫通孔において該コネクター本体に取り付けられる別体のシールアセンブリー・リテーナとを備え、
該コネクター本体は、該貫通孔において複数の離間したアーチ状の係止レッジを画成しており、各係止レッジは、軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面を含み、該シールアセンブリー・リテーナは、該係止レッジの軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面と当接する関係の、軸方向外方に向いている半径方向係止面を含む、クイックコネクター継手。 - 前記シール室部は軸方向円筒状シール面を含み、前記係止レッジの各々は、前記貫通孔のシール収容部の軸方向円筒状シール面の直径と同じ直径の半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントを含む、請求項1に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記管リテーナ部は、前記シール室部の前記軸方向円筒状シール面の該直径よりも大きな直径を有する軸方向円筒面を含み、前記貫通孔は、該リテーナ部の前記軸方向円筒面と前記シール室部の前記軸方向円筒状シール面との中間の直径を有する中間部軸方向円筒面をさらに画成し、
前記シールアセンブリー・リテーナは、前記シール室部の前記円筒状シール面に摺動可能に配置された軸方向内側円筒面と、前記本体の該中間部軸方向円筒面に摺動可能に配置された軸方向外側の円筒面を画成する一体的な半径方向リングとを有する連続する環状要素であって、前記一体的な半径方向リングが、前記係止レッジの前記軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面との当接する関係にある、前記軸方向外方に向いている環状半径方向当接面を画成している、請求項2に記載のクイックコネクター継手。 - 前記コネクター本体は、前記リテーナ部の前記軸方向円筒面と前記中間部軸方向円筒面との間に延在する円錐状肩面部を含み、該円錐状肩面部は、前記リテーナ部の前記円筒面と各前記係止レッジの半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントとの間に延在する、請求項3に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 各前記係止レッジの前記半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントが、前記一体的な半径方向リングの該外側軸方向円筒面よりも小さな直径を有する、請求項4に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記コネクター本体が前記係止レッジでところで半径方向外方に軸方向変形が可能である、請求項5に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 該外側スペーサーが前記一体的な半径方向リングのところで半径方向内方に軸方向変形が可能である、請求項6に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジは、前記コネクター本体の前記貫通孔周上に等しく離間されている、請求項1に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記クイックコネクター本体が前記貫通孔において3つの係止レッジを含む、請求項8に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 該係止レッジが約20度(20°)の弓状長さを有する、請求項9に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジが前記コネクター本体の前記貫通孔周上で等しく離間されている、請求項4に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記クイックコネクター本体が前記貫通孔において3つの係止レッジを含む、請求項11に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジが約20度(20°)の弓状長さを有する、請求項12に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジが前記コネクター本体の前記貫通孔周上で等しく離間されている、請求項6に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記クイックコネクター本体が前記貫通孔において3つの係止レッジを含む、請求項14に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジが約20度(20°)の弓状長さを有する、請求項15に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 自由端部と、該自由端部から離間されている凸状の環状アップセット部と、該自由端部と該環状アップセット部との間の円筒状シール面とを有し、前記貫通孔内に取り外し自在に保持される管状雄型部材と、
前記貫通孔内に前記管状部材を取り外し自在に保持する前記コネクター本体に開放可能に接続される管リテーナを含む、請求項5に記載のクイックコネクター継手。 - 貫通孔と、管リテーナと、シール室部とを画成するコネクター本体と、該コネクター本体と雄型部材の円筒状シール面との間に流体密封シールを提供するシールアセンブリーと、該貫通孔内で該コネクター本体に取り付けられる別体のシールアセンブリー・リテーナとを備え、該コネクター本体は、該貫通孔において複数の離間されたアーチ状の係止レッジを画成していて、各該係止レッジは軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面を含み、該シールアセンブリー・リテーナは軸方向外方に向いている連続する環状の半径方向当接面を含む、クイックコネクター継手を組立てる方法であって、該方法は
該シール室部内に該シールアセンブリーを配置する工程と、
該シールアセンブリー・リテーナの該軸方向外方に向いている環状の半径方向当接面を、該係止レッジの軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止と当接する関係に配置する工程とを、備える方法。 - 該コネクター本体を該係止レッジのところで半径方向外方に変形させることにより、該別体のシールアセンブリー・リテーナを該貫通孔に挿入する工程を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 該シールアセンブリー・リテーナを半径方向内方に変形させることにより、該別体のシールアセンブリー・リテーナを該貫通孔に挿入する工程を更に備える、請求項19に記載のクイックコネクター継手の組立て方法。
- 該係止レッジの各々は、半径方向内方のアーチ状軸方向セグメントを含み、該シールアセンブリー・リテーナは、該外方に向いている半径方向当接面を画成している一体的な半径方向リングを含み、該一体的な半径方向リングは、前記半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントの直径よりも大きい直径の軸方向外側円筒面を有し、該一体的な半径方向リングを軸方向内方に、且つ前記係止レッジを半径方向外方に変形させて該シールアセンブリー・リテーナを該コネクター本体に挿入する工程を更に備える、請求項20に記載の方法。
