Abstract
【解決手段】車両バンパ内でバンパレインフォースメント4の前面に配設されチャンバ空間を内部に形成してなるチャンバ本体71を有するチャンバ部材7は、チャンバ本体71が車幅方向全体に亘って一定の断面形状に形成されている。また、アブソーバ部材6が、アブソーバ本体61の上方であってバンパカバー3背面とチャンバ部材7前面との間に設けられて衝撃を吸収するスペーサ部62を備えている。

前記チャンバ本体は、車幅方向全体に亘って一定の断面形状に形成され、
前記アブソーバ部材は、前記アブソーバ本体の上方又は下方であって前記バンパカバー背面と前記チャンバ部材前面との間に設けられて衝撃を吸収するスペーサ部を備えたことを特徴とする。

Claims (8)
- 車両バンパ内でバンパレインフォースメントの前面に配設されチャンバ空間を内部に形成してなるチャンバ本体を有するチャンバ部材と、前記バンパレインフォースメントの前方且つ前記チャンバ部材の下方又は上方に配設されて衝撃を吸収するアブソーバ本体を有するアブソーバ部材と、前記チャンバ空間内の圧力を検出する圧力センサと、前記バンパレインフォースメント、前記チャンバ部材及び前記アブソーバ部材を車両外側から覆うバンパカバーとを備え、前記圧力センサによる圧力検出結果に基づいて前記車両バンパへの衝突を検知するように構成された車両用衝突検知装置において、
前記チャンバ本体は、車幅方向全体に亘って一定の断面形状に形成され、
前記アブソーバ部材は、前記アブソーバ本体の上方又は下方であって前記バンパカバー背面と前記チャンバ部材前面との間に設けられて衝撃を吸収するスペーサ部を備えたことを特徴とする車両用衝突検知装置。 - 前記スペーサ部は、前記アブソーバ本体よりも剛性が低いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記スペーサ部は、車幅方向に一定の間隔で配置された複数のスペーサ片を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記スペーサ部は、前記複数のスペーサ片を車幅方向に連結する連結部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記スペーサ部は、前記各スペーサ片の車幅方向の幅を20mm以上120mm以下としたことを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記アブソーバ本体と前記スペーサ部とは、一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1つに記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記アブソーバ本体と前記スペーサ部とは、発泡樹脂材料の一体成型によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記アブソーバ本体と前記スペーサ部とは、異なる発泡樹脂材料によって形成されると共に、前記アブソーバ本体を形成する第1の発泡樹脂材料の剛性よりも前記スペーサ部を形成する第2の発泡樹脂材料の剛性の方が低いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
