Hereinafter, the phosphorus collection unit in the present embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically illustrating the
As illustrated in FIG. 1, the
The phosphorus adsorbent 10 includes a binder 102 and alumina particles 100 fixed to the binder 102. The alumina particles 100 are, for example, primary particles or secondary particles of γ-alumina having many end groups of Al—OH and a high specific surface area. Preferably, the alumina particles 100 are alumina fine particles having a center particle diameter of 0.1 μm or less, and are present in a state of being dispersed substantially uniformly in the binder 102.
The alumina particles 100 are simultaneously acid-treated by an acid treatment for the binder 102 described later.
The binder 102 is a fixing agent mainly composed of an amorphous substance of soluble silicate. Specifically, the binder 102 is water glass subjected to acid treatment. The “water glass” in the present application is a water-soluble alkali metal silicate represented by the general formula [nSiO 2. “M” 2 O] (where “M” is an alkali metal and “n” is a positive integer). is there. In particular, sodium silicate is inexpensive and preferable.
Here, the necessity of acid treatment will be described. A glassy material formed by drying water glass at room temperature has poor water resistance. This is because the alkali metal in the water glass is easily eluted in the water present around it. By elution of the alkali metal, the surrounding water becomes alkaline, and silica (SiO 2 ), which is the main component of water glass, is easily dissolved. In order to solve this problem, in the manufacturing method (described later) according to the present embodiment, a molded body is molded using water glass, dried (heat treatment), and then subjected to acid treatment on the dried molded body. Improves water resistance. By performing acid treatment after drying (heat treatment) the molded body, alkali metal ions in the water glass in the molded body are ion-exchanged with hydrogen ions. Thereby, the alkali metal in the water glass which elutes into water and becomes alkaline can be removed in advance. Silica dissolves in an alkaline solution but does not dissolve in a neutral or acidic solution. For this reason, it becomes difficult for silica to elute in water, and the molded object which improved water resistance can be manufactured. Thereby, it is not necessary to heat a water glass at high temperature in order to improve water resistance. For this reason, the intensity | strength of the vitreous formed with water glass cannot fall easily. Furthermore, when the water glass is sufficiently dried and then subjected to an acid treatment, the acid can easily penetrate not only into the surface of the molded body but also into the interior. That is, it becomes easy to sufficiently perform acid treatment.
The board | substrate 12 is a plate-shaped member comprised with metals, such as stainless steel, glass, or resin. A slurry of a mixture of alumina particles 100 and water glass is applied to the surface of the substrate 12 in the form of a film, and the applied mixture is subjected to heat treatment and acid treatment, whereby the film-like phosphorus adsorbent 10 becomes the substrate 12. Formed on the surface. The phosphorus adsorbent 10 is firmly fixed to the surface of the substrate 12 by the silica phase of the binder 102.
In this example, the plate-like substrate 12 has been described as a specific example. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the substrate 12 may be a member having a three-dimensional network structure such as a sponge. It may be a member having a two-dimensional network structure such as a wire mesh, or may be a string-like member.
FIG. 2 is a diagram schematically showing the second
As illustrated in FIG. 2, the second
The granular phosphorus adsorbent 20 is substantially the same as the phosphorus adsorbent 10 except that it has a pellet-like outer shape. The phosphorus adsorbent 20 of this example has a substantially spherical shape with a diameter of 3 to 20 mm. By making the outer shape of the phosphorus adsorbent 20 spherical, when the container 200 is filled, a large number of
The container 200 is closed with a
Further, a drainage water passing member 202 is provided on the bottom surface of the container 200 of this example. The drainage water-permeable member 202 is provided with holes through which the particulate solid phosphorus adsorbent 20 cannot pass but through which the liquid to be treated can pass. It is discharged through the water member 202.
Similarly, the

[Production method]
Next, the manufacturing method of the said phosphorus adsorbent is demonstrated.
(Mixing step) First, alumina and water glass are mixed to prepare a mixture. The weight ratio of alumina to water glass is preferably set in the range of 20: 1 to 1: 1. This is because when the water glass ratio is too large, the phosphorus adsorption capacity is lowered, and when the water glass ratio is too small, not only the pH fluctuation is increased, but also the moldability shown below is deteriorated.
(Molding step) Next, the adjusted mixture (slurry) is molded. When manufacturing the
(Drying step) Next, the formed mixture is dried. In the drying process, for example, the mixture is heated at 100 to 900 ° C. When the mixture is applied to the metal substrate 12, it is preferable to heat at 100 to 300 ° C.
(Acid treatment step) Acid treatment is performed on the dried mixture. For example, the mixture is immersed in 0.01 to 1 mol / l acetic acid. In this example, acid treatment using acetic acid has been described as a specific example. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and various acids can be used. However, from the viewpoint of preventing elution of aluminum ions, the pH of the acid used for the acid treatment is desirably 3.8 or more. In view of the influence of an aluminum salt (such as aluminum chloride or aluminum sulfate) produced by acid treatment, acid treatment with acetic acid is preferable to acid treatment with hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid.
A phosphorus adsorbent is manufactured by the above process.
[Example]
Next, examples will be described.
γ-alumina powder (Sumitomo Chemical, AKP-G015), water glass (No. 2, Na 2 O: 11.5 to 11.8 wt.%, SiO 2 : 27.8 to 28.5 wt.%) and distilled water, 1: 0.5: The mixture was prepared at a weight ratio of 8 and mixed with a stirrer for 30 minutes (mixing step). Thereafter, this mixture was poured into a Teflon (registered trademark) petri dish and dried in a dryer at 50 ° C. for 24 hours. Thereafter, it was further heat-treated at 300 ° C. for 3 hours in an atmospheric electric furnace (drying step). Next, the dry heat-treated mixture was pulverized and sieved to a powder having a particle size of 1.0 to 0.5 mm. 1.0 g of this powder was wrapped in a filter (made of polyethylene), immersed in 100 ml of 0.1M acetic acid for 1 hour and stirred (acid treatment step). The acid-treated powder (mixture) was thoroughly washed with ethanol and then sufficiently dried in a dryer at 50 ° C. Then, it was further immersed in a 0.1 M aqueous acetic acid solution for 1 hour (acid treatment step), washed with ethanol, and dried at 50 ° C.
The structure of the γ-alumina / silicate mixture (phosphorus adsorbent) obtained as described above was examined by pore characteristics using powder XRD measurement, FT-IR measurement (KBr tablet method), and BET method. Further, the Na + , Al 3+ , and Si 4+ ion concentrations in each solution after the treatment were measured by ICP-AES.
FIG. 3 (A) shows XRD patterns before and after acid treatment of a γ alumina / silicate mixture (phosphorous adsorbent). As shown in FIG. 3A, peaks attributed to γ-alumina are observed both before and after the acid treatment. Moreover, the peak attributed to sodium aluminate exists before acid treatment. It is considered that sodium aluminate was precipitated by the heat treatment and removed by the subsequent acid treatment.
FIG. 3B shows FT-IR spectra before and after acid treatment of the γ-alumina / silicate mixture (phosphorous adsorbent). The absorption peak of 1000 to 1200 cm −1 in FIG. 3B is due to Si—O asymmetric stretching vibration, and this peak is shifted to the high wavenumber side in the acid-treated sample. This indicates that the Si-O bond is strengthened, which is thought to be due to the presence of many Si-O-Si bonds. However, when water glass is treated alone, the absorption of Si-O asymmetric stretching vibration is observed at 1100 cm -1 , and in this sample, it is seen on the lower wavenumber side. From the isoelectric point of alumina and silicate, the surface of the γ-alumina particles in the neutral solution is positively charged and the surface of the silicate is negatively charged, which is presumed to affect the Si-O asymmetric stretching vibration.
When the pore characteristics of the γ-alumina / silicate mixture (phosphorous adsorbent) before and after acid treatment were examined, the sample after acid treatment had an increased specific surface area (117 m 2 / g → 137). m 2 / g). A large amount of Na + ions, Al 3+ ions, and Si 4+ ions were detected in the solution after the acid treatment. From these facts, it is considered that the disappearance of sodium aluminate and the dissolution of γ-alumina and silicic acid in the acid affect the formation of pores (continuous vent holes).
Next, a phosphorus removal experiment will be described. A phosphorus-containing solution was prepared using potassium hydrogen phosphate, aqueous ammonia, hydrochloric acid, and distilled water, with pH adjusted to 7 and P 5+ ion concentration adjusted to 5 ppm. In 15 ml of this phosphorus-containing solution, 0.3 g of a sample (phosphorous adsorbent) was immersed and stirred, and after 90 minutes, the sample was taken out and immersed in 15 ml of a new phosphorus-containing solution and stirred. This operation was repeated a total of 5 times.
The P 5+ , Si 4+ and Na + ion concentrations in the solution after each immersion were measured by ICP-AES.
FIG. 4A shows the P 5+ ion concentration and pH in the phosphorus removal experiment. As shown in FIG. 4 (A), the P 5+ ion concentration always shows 1 ppm or less after any immersion treatment, and the pH is always stable at around 5.5. In the sample of only γ-alumina treated with the same acid, the pH was 5 or less.
FIG. 4B shows the Na + ion concentration and Si 4 + ion concentration in the solution in the phosphorus removal experiment. As shown in FIG. 4B, the Na + ion concentration changes rapidly, but the Si 4 + ion concentration changes gently.
Moreover, by adjusting the mixing amount of water glass, it has succeeded in joining firmly as a film to the ceramic substrate surface, and the produced γ-alumina / silicate mixture (phosphorus adsorbent) has high moldability. It is a phosphorus adsorbent.
