Description

The present invention relates to a residual stress measuring apparatus and method for measuring residual stress on the surface of an inspection object, and more particularly to a residual stress measuring apparatus and method for measuring residual stress from stress release strain by releasing stress at an inspection site.

In the manufacturing process, with increasing demands for product performance and lifetime, the importance of inspection is increasing, and non-destructive inspection techniques for a wide variety of defects have been developed. Among them, the residual stress is inevitably generated in processing steps involving plastic deformation such as welding, and has become a problem in a wide range of manufacturing fields from automobile bodies to large structures of power plants.

On the other hand, various methods for inspecting the residual stress have been devised, but the destructive inspection by the sampling test is the main, and the actual situation is that the application to the site has not progressed. The most common measurement method is a method of releasing stress by drilling or the like and measuring the strain with a strain gauge. Although this method involves destruction, it is still used as a highly practical and reliable method because it is simple in principle and has been researched and developed for a long time.

Under such circumstances, in recent years, in order to realize simple, quick and reliable residual stress measurement, development of a residual stress measurement technique combining a stress release method and an optical interference measurement method has been advanced. This is to measure strain generated by releasing residual stress by drilling or partial removal using a non-contact, high-resolution laser interference measurement technique instead of a conventional strain gauge.

However, methods that relieve stress by drilling or removing parts cause major damage and are difficult to apply to finished products and structures in operation. Recently, other methods have been studied. ing.

As such a stress relief method, a method in which a large current pulse is directly applied to an inspection object to release the stress (for example, refer to Patent Document 1), or an inspection object is heated to release the stress. Is known (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

US Pat. No. 5,432,595

In the method described in Patent Document 1, there are problems such as an increase in size of the apparatus and safety in handling in order to generate a strain having a measurable magnitude. Further, in the method described in Patent Document 2, since thermal expansion strain is generated by local heating, in order to measure a large tensile residual stress, it is necessary to locally heat to a high temperature, and the problem of temperature control is difficult. There was a problem of separation of expansion strain and stress release strain.

In the interference measurement method using laser light, the difference in the path length of the laser light before and after deformation (hereinafter referred to as optical path difference) is generally measured as the phase difference. For this reason, the heating method has a problem that if the refractive index changes due to temperature fluctuations in the laser beam path, the phase cannot be correctly determined, and the strain cannot be measured.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a residual stress measuring apparatus and method which can perform a semi-nondestructive residual stress measurement and which is quick and portable.

Hereinafter, the configuration and measurement operation of the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, the configuration of the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a residual stress measuring apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention using FIG.

The residual stress measuring device of the present embodiment is a device that measures the residual stress in an arbitrary inspection region B on the surface of the inspection object A. Double exposure of the casing 700 that forms the main body of the measuring device, the laser beam irradiation devices 100A and 100B that irradiate the inspection region B with laser light for inspection, and the reflected light (scattered light) from the inspection region B Laser interference measuring device 200 for imaging, timing control device 300 for controlling the laser light irradiation timing of laser light irradiation devices 100A and 100B, indenter pushing device 400 for pushing the indenter into the inspection region, and indenter pushing by indenter pushing device 400 A load control device 403 that controls the load, a data processing device 500 that measures the residual stress in the inspection region B based on the captured images of the inspection region B before and after the indenter is pushed by the laser interference measuring device 200, and a residual that is generated by the data processing device 500 A measurement result display device 600 that displays a stress measurement result is provided.

The first laser beam irradiation apparatus 100A includes a measurement laser beam oscillation device 101a that oscillates a first measurement laser beam, and a laser beam expansion optical that expands the first laser beam oscillated from the laser beam oscillation device 101a. A system 102a and a mirror 103a that reflects the first laser beam magnified by the laser magnification optical system 102a are provided. Similarly, in the second laser light irradiation apparatus 100B, the measurement laser light oscillation apparatus 101b that oscillates the second measurement laser light, and the laser light that expands the second laser light oscillated from the laser light oscillation apparatus 101b. A magnifying optical system 102b and a mirror 103b that reflects the second laser light magnified by the laser magnifying optical system 102b are provided.

The laser beam expansion optical systems 102a and 102b are means for expanding the laser beam to a size sufficient to irradiate the inspection region B, and are desirably optical systems that expand the laser beam as a parallel light beam. The mirrors 103a and 103b are provided in the vicinity of the lower end of the housing 700 so as to be close to the inspection object A, and irradiate the inspection region B with the reflected laser light from the direction along the surface of the inspection object A. The traveling direction of the laser beam in the inspection region B as viewed from the Z direction is a direction along the surface of the inspection object A and a direction in which residual stress is to be measured (hereinafter referred to as “residual stress measurement direction”). It is matched. This is shown as the X direction in FIG. The laser beam irradiation apparatuses 100A and 100B are arranged in a positional relationship in which the distance and the laser beam incident angle are the same with respect to the inspection region B, and the X direction vector of the laser beam reflected by the mirrors 103a and 103b is opposed. The inspection area B is irradiated from the direction.

The laser interference measurement device 200 is a laser shearography interference measurement device that performs double exposure imaging by shifting reflected light from the inspection region B with respect to the laser light of the laser light irradiation devices 100A and 100B in the residual stress measurement direction. The details of the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 will be described later with reference to FIG.

The timing control device 300 controls the operation timing of the laser light irradiation devices 100A and 100B and the laser interference measurement device 200. The measurement laser beam oscillators 101a and 101b are controlled so that the laser beams are not simultaneously irradiated with each other, the laser interference measuring device 200 is operated in accordance with the irradiation timing of each laser beam, and each of the first and second laser beams. An interference image with respect to the reflected light is taken. Specifically, the measurement laser beam oscillators 101a and 101b are pulse-driven, and a double exposure image is taken for each of the number of images necessary for interference measurement with respect to the first and second laser beams irradiated by each. Thus, the operation of the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 is controlled.

The indenter pushing device 400 includes an indenter driving device 401 that pushes the indenter 402 into the indenter pushing region C of the inspection region B. The material of the indenter 402 is diamond or cemented carbide. The indenter driving device 401 has a function of measuring an indenter pushing load and a function of pushing the indenter with an arbitrary pushing load. Further, the indenter driving device 401 may have a function of measuring an indenter pushing amount (pushing displacement). Further, since the indenter pushing device 400 may interfere with the imaging of the inspection region B by the laser interference measuring device 200, the indenter driving device 401 has a moving function (or a turning function) that changes its position according to the timing. ). The size and shape of the indenter pushing area C are determined by the shape of the indenter 402 and the indenter pushing displacement. The shapes and sizes of the inspection area B and the indenter pushing area C may be matched with each other, and the case where the positions are shifted or one of them completely includes one is allowed. This is because the indenter is displaced so that the portion where the indenter is not in direct contact is also displaced. Since the inspection region B moves three-dimensionally due to thermal strain or stress release strain, it is desirable to set the inspection region B within a certain area, for example, a range of several tens of millimeters in diameter.

The indenter load control device 403 is configured so that the indenter is pushed in with a predetermined load (or indenter pushing displacement) in order to keep the deformation amount of the indenter pushing area C within a necessary and sufficient range for residual stress measurement. The output of the indenter driving device 401 is controlled. For example, the indenter load control device 403 stores in the internal storage device a database of the relationship between the indenter indentation load (or indenter indentation displacement) and the plastic deformation amount with respect to the material of the inspection object A examined in advance. The operation and output of the indenter pushing device 400 are controlled using the correlation read out from.

Next, a residual stress measuring method using the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing a residual stress measurement method using the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

First, in step S10, the laser light irradiation directions of the laser light irradiation devices 100A and 100B and the double exposure shifting direction (described later in FIG. Start measurement according to the measurement direction.

Then, in step S20, the timing control device 300 drives the first laser light irradiation device 100A, and the first laser light from the laser light oscillation device 101a reflected by the mirror 103a is almost on the surface of the inspection object A. The inspection area B is irradiated from a direction parallel to the residual stress measurement direction (first direction). The laser interference measuring apparatus 200 takes a double exposure image of the reflected light scattered in the inspection region B, and takes a first double exposure image (before pressing the indenter) (the imaging principle will be described later with reference to FIG. 3).

In subsequent step S30, the timing control device 300 drives the second laser light irradiation device 100B, and the second laser light from the laser light oscillation device 101b reflected by the mirror 103b is in the opposite direction to the first laser light. The inspection region B is irradiated from a direction (second direction) substantially parallel to the surface of the inspection object A and coincident with the residual stress measurement direction. The laser interference measuring apparatus 200 captures a double exposure image of the reflected light scattered in the inspection region B, and captures a second double exposure image (before pressing the indenter).

Next, in step S40, the indenter load control device 403 controls the indenter pushing device 400 to move the indenter driving device 401 so that the indenter 402 is positioned on the indenter pushing region C. After that, the indenter driving device 401 controls the indenter 402 to push in with a preset indenter pushing load (or indenter pushing displacement). The indenter indentation load (or indenter indentation displacement) at this time is set so that the minimum plastic deformation that can be measured by the laser interferometer is generated by referring to the data of the stress strain diagram determined by the material of the inspection object A To do.

Next, in step S50, after causing plastic deformation in the indenter pushing region C, the indenter load control device 403 moves the indenter pushing device 400. Immediately thereafter, in step S60, the laser interference measurement apparatus 200 captures a third double-exposure image (after pressing the indenter). That is, the timing control device 300 drives the first laser light irradiation device 100A, and the inspection region B is irradiated from the first direction with the first laser light from the laser light oscillation device 101a reflected by the mirror 103a. The laser interference measuring apparatus 200 performs double exposure photographing of the reflected light scattered in the inspection area B before the indenter is pushed.

Immediately thereafter, in step S70, the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 captures a fourth double-exposure image (after pressing the indenter). That is, the timing control device 300 drives the second laser light irradiation device 100B, and the second laser light from the laser light oscillation device 101b reflected by the mirror 103b is applied to the inspection region B from the second direction. Then, the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 performs double exposure photographing of the reflected light scattered in the inspection region B.

Next, in step S80, the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 determines the direction of the laser light from the laser light oscillator 101a from the first double exposure image and the third double exposure image taken in steps S20 and S60. The total deformation amount (optical path difference) before and after the indenter is pushed in the inspection area B with respect to (first direction) is calculated. A method for measuring the deformation will be described later.

Further, in step S90, the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 determines the direction of the laser light from the laser light oscillation apparatus 101b (from the second double exposure image and the fourth double exposure image captured in steps S30 and S70) ( The total deformation amount (optical path difference) before and after the indenter is pushed in the inspection region B with respect to the second direction) is calculated.

Next, in step S100, the data processing device 500 calculates the difference between the total deformation amounts with respect to the first and second directions calculated in steps S80 and S90, and before and after pressing the indenter in the residual stress measurement direction in the inspection region B. The total deformation amount is calculated. Then, the amount of deformation due to the indenter is subtracted from the total amount of deformation, and the amount of deformation due to residual stress is calculated. The residual stress value in the direction of residual stress measurement is finally obtained from the amount of deformation due to the residual stress. A specific example of step S100 will be described later in detail with reference to FIG.

In step S110, the timing control device 300 determines whether or not the entire range has been completed. When the inspection area is not one place and the entire range is not completed, the process returns to step S120, and the same measurement (steps S10 to S100) is performed on the next inspection area. When the entire range is finished, the series of procedures in FIG. 2 is finished.

In the process of step S20, it is more preferable to average images obtained by repeatedly performing double exposure shooting and shooting a plurality of first double exposure images to obtain an image with a large SN ratio. The processing in steps S30, S60, and S70 is the same.

Next, the optical system of the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 used in the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment and the shearography method using the same will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 3 is a configuration diagram of the optical system of the laser interference measuring apparatus used in the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 3A shows a schematic configuration of the laser interference measuring apparatus 200.

As shown in FIG. 3A, the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 collects a reflected lens 211 that collects a reflected image (speckle pattern) 210 from the inspection region B, and a reflected image incident on the focused lens 211. A spectroscopic element 212 that divides the light into two reflected images 210a and 210b, a first reflecting mirror 213 that reflects the first reflected image 210a dispersed by the spectroscopic element 212, and a second reflection that is spectrally separated by the spectroscopic element 212. A second reflecting mirror 214 that reflects the image 210b and an image measuring element 215 such as a CCD that receives the reflected images 210a and 210b reflected by the reflecting mirrors 213 and 214 are provided.

The spectroscopic element 212 divides the first reflected image 210a in a direction orthogonal to the reflected image 210 and transmits the second reflected image 210b. The first reflecting mirror 213 is installed perpendicular to the optical axis of the incident first reflected image 210 a, and reflects the reflected image 210 a so as to be incident on a substantially central region of the image measuring element 215. On the other hand, the second reflecting mirror 214 is installed with the normal line inclined with respect to the optical axis of the incident second reflecting image 210b, and is reflected by the second reflecting mirror 214. 210b is bent by the spectroscopic element 212 and is shifted from the first reflected image 210 by ΔX to enter the image measuring element 215. The second reflecting mirror 214 is inclined so that the second reflected image 210b is shifted in a direction corresponding to the residual stress measurement direction of the first reflected image 201a on the image measuring element 215. As a result, the differential image obtained by the interference of the two reflected images 210a and 210b is incident on the light receiving surface of the image measuring element 215 (double exposure), as schematically shown in FIG. Shoot).

The differential width of the differential image is determined by the shift amount ΔX of the reflected light 210a, 210b, in this example, the tilt angle of the second reflecting mirror 214. Thereby, the local deformation | transformation of the test | inspection area | region B is emphasized by optical differentiation, and the measurement accuracy of a residual stress improves.

Next, how to obtain the residual stress using the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of how to obtain the residual stress using the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 4 shows a stress-strain diagram of the inspection object A. The horizontal axis of the figure indicates the strain in the residual stress direction of the inspection region B, and the vertical axis indicates the stress (tensile stress) acting in the residual stress direction of the inspection region B. Here, since the tensile residual stress is a problem in welding residual stress, only the tensile stress will be described below.

σ1=f(εY+ε1)−S …(1)

σY=E・εY …(2)

Usually, when there is no residual stress, the stress state in the inspection region B before the indenter is pushed is σ0. Even if the indenter is pressed with an indenter pressing stress S equal to or lower than the yield stress σY in this state, it only deforms within the elastic deformation range, and returns to the original state after the indenter is released. On the other hand, when the tensile residual stress σ1 exists, if the indenter is pushed in with the same indenter pressing stress S as described above, the yield exceeds the yield point according to the dotted line in the figure and moves to the plastic deformation region. Arise. Therefore, the residual stress can be measured by the following equation by measuring the plastic strain in the residual stress direction with high accuracy.

σ1 = f (εY + ε1) −S (1)

σY = E · εY (2)

Here, the function f is the relationship between the strain and stress inherent in the material represented by the stress-strain diagram. E is the Young's modulus that determines elastic deformation, and εY is the strain at the yield point.

When the residual stress in the inspection region B is greater than σ1, when the indenter is pushed in with the same indenter pushing stress S as described above, a larger plastic strain ε2 is generated according to the stress-strain diagram.

FIG. 4B shows the relationship between the residual stress existing in the inspection region B and the resulting plastic deformation when the indenter is pushed into the indenter pushing region C with a certain indenter pushing stress S. As shown in the figure, the plastic strain increases exponentially as the tensile residual stress increases, and therefore the method of this embodiment can measure the tensile residual stress with high sensitivity.

Next, a method for measuring the amount of displacement in the residual stress measurement direction in the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the present embodiment by laser interference measurement will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram of a displacement measuring method in the residual stress measuring direction in the residual stress measuring device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

In FIG. 5, attention is paid to a specific position in the inspection region B, and laser beams emitted from the laser beam irradiation apparatuses 100A and 100B before and after deformation by indenter pressing are shown. The origin O in FIG. 5 indicates the position of a certain point in the inspection area B before the indenter is pressed, and the dotted line K1 indicates the deformation caused by the indenter, that is, the behavior of the origin O associated with the indenter. Further, the X axis indicates the residual stress measurement direction, and the Z axis indicates the height position of the surface of the inspection object A. The amount of deformation due to indentation is Dx in the residual stress measurement direction and Dz in the height direction.

Du=Dx・cosα+Dz・(1+sinα) …(3)

The laser beam irradiated to the point of interest O before the indenter is pushed in step S20 in FIG. 2 is denoted by L10, and the laser beam irradiated to the point of interest O in step S30 in FIG. 2 is denoted by L20. Here, since the laser beam irradiation apparatuses 100A and 100B cannot irradiate the laser beam completely parallel to the inspection region B of the inspection object A, the incident angle α (for example, 20) with respect to the surface of the inspection object A Less than °) must be set. After the point of interest O moves to the coordinates (Dx, Dz) by pressing the indenter, the laser beam irradiated in step S60 in FIG. 2 is indicated by L11, and the laser beam irradiated in step S70 in FIG. 2 is indicated by L21. Therefore, if the laser interference measuring apparatus 200 is photographing from the Z-axis direction, the deformation amount Du measured in step S80 in FIG. 2, that is, the optical path difference between the laser beams L10 and L11 is the sum of Dz and L12,

Du = Dx · cos α + Dz · (1 + sin α) (3)

It is expressed.

Dw=−Dx・cosα+Dz・(1+sinα) …(4)

Similarly, the deformation amount Dw measured in step S90 of FIG. 2, that is, the optical path difference between the laser beams L20 and L21, is the difference between Dz and L22.

Dw = −Dx · cos α + Dz · (1 + sin α) (4)

It is expressed.

Dx=(Du−Dw)/(2・cosα) …(6)

Therefore, when the difference between the deformation amount Du and the deformation amount Dw is taken in step S100 in FIG. 2, the component of Dz disappears,

Du−Dw = 2 · Dx · cos α (5)

The amount of deformation Dx in the residual stress measurement direction is

Dx = (Du−Dw) / (2 · cos α) (6)

Is calculated.

As a result, according to the equation (6), in the present embodiment, only the deformation amount in the residual stress measurement direction is more emphasized and measured. As can be seen from the equation (6), the smaller the angle α, the better. Even if α is 30 degrees, the SN ratio is 1.73 times larger than when α is 60 degrees.

Next, a method for generating a measurable deformation in the residual stress measurement direction within a range where no stress concentration occurs in the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.
6 and 7 are explanatory diagrams of a deformation generation method in the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 6A shows an indenter 402a having a hemispherical tip shape. According to this indenter, since the tip is not sharp, stress concentration is unlikely to occur, and a load can be applied until a strain that can be measured by laser interferometry is generated.

FIG. 6B shows an indenter 402b having an elliptical tip shape. According to this indenter, stress concentration is unlikely to occur because the tip is not sharp, the major axis direction is aligned with the residual stress measurement direction (X direction), and the minor axis direction is the residual stress on the surface to be inspected (XY plane). If the direction is perpendicular to the measurement direction (X direction), a large load can be applied in the residual stress measurement direction, so the strain in the residual stress measurement direction (X direction) can be increased, and wasteful plastic deformation can occur in other directions than the residual stress measurement direction. You can avoid giving.

FIG. 6C shows a quadrangular pyramid shaped indenter 402c. According to this indenter, plastic deformation can be generated with a small load, and the plastic deformation range can be reduced.

FIG. 6D shows a quadrangular pyramid shaped indenter 402d having a large apex angle in the residual stress direction. According to this indenter, the plastic deformation range can be reduced, the major axis direction is matched with the residual stress measurement direction (X direction), and the minor axis direction is the residual stress measurement direction (XY plane) of the inspection object surface (XY plane). If the direction is perpendicular to the (X direction), distortion in the residual stress measurement direction (X direction) can be increased, and unnecessary plastic deformation in other directions than the residual stress measurement direction can be avoided.

FIG. 7 shows an example of an indenter pushing device 400 for generating a measurable deformation in the residual stress measurement direction within a range where stress concentration does not occur. The indenter driving device 401A includes a mechanism for driving the indenter 402A along the residual stress measurement direction (X direction) with respect to the inspection region B of the inspection object A. Thereby, the indenter driving device 400 can apply a load only in the residual stress measurement direction (X direction) to the inspection region B, can increase the strain in the residual stress measurement direction (X direction), and the residual stress measurement direction. Besides, it is possible to avoid giving unnecessary plastic deformation.

Furthermore, since the plastic deformation (indentation) caused by the indenter is very small, if the stress concentration or appearance is anxious, the original state can be almost restored by removing the indentation after the residual stress measurement.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the residual stress of the inspection object A can be measured in a non-destructive manner by causing minute plastic deformation by a simple method. Further, residual stress can be measured with high accuracy by interferometry.

At this time, although the deformation of the inspection object A in the elastic deformation region in the residual stress measurement direction is small, the inspection region is irradiated by irradiating the inspection object A from the residual stress measurement direction along the surface of the inspection object A. The resolution with respect to the deformation in the direction of residual stress measurement before and after the pressing of the indenter B can be increased. Also, the inspection laser beam is irradiated from both directions (first and second directions) of the residual stress measurement direction, and the difference in deformation amount before and after the indenter measurement measured for each is taken, so that the inspection region B can be obtained with higher accuracy. Can be measured. Thereby, the amount of plastic deformation of the inspection object in the direction parallel to the surface of the inspection object can be measured with high accuracy, and the residual stress on the surface of the inspection object can be easily measured in a non-destructive manner.

Therefore, by using a small portable device, a stress-free strain is generated in the inspection area of the surface of the inspection object by a simple and reliable method, and this strain amount is measured with high accuracy using a laser interferometry method. The residual stress on the surface of the inspection object can be measured.

In addition, as in the prior art, those in which stress is released by applying heating or a large current cannot be applied to structures in water (for example, reactor internals of a reactor vessel). Then, since the stress is released using an indenter, it can be applied to the measurement of the residual stress of a structure in water.

Next, the configuration and measurement operation of the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The configuration of the residual stress measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment is the same as that shown in FIG.
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing a residual stress measurement method using the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention. Note that the processing of the same step number as in FIG. 2 has the same processing content as that shown in FIG. FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram of a residual stress measurement method using the residual stress measurement apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

In the present embodiment shown in FIG. 7, similarly to the first embodiment shown in FIG. 2, Step S <b> 70 is performed in which the indenter is pushed in and laser interference measurement is performed by the laser interference measurement device.

Thereafter, at step 80, the deformation amount is measured, and at the same time, in step S130, the indentation shape of the indenter is photographed by the hardness measurement photographing device, and image measurement is performed. At this time, the imaging device for hardness measurement can use the imaging function of the laser interference measuring device 200.

Next, in step S140, the data processing device 400 measures the hardness using the image captured in step S130. As the hardness, Vickers, Brinell, Neuve or other indicators are used according to the shape of the indenter. The hardness may be measured using a Vickers hardness meter or the like. However, as described above, the indentation shape is photographed by the laser interference measuring apparatus 200, and the hardness is measured by the data processing apparatus 400, so that it is not necessary to provide a hardness meter or the like.

Thereafter, in step S101, the data processing device 500 corrects the influence of the surface hardness in consideration of calculating the residual stress in the inspection region.

Here, a method for correcting the residual stress due to the difference in surface hardness will be described with reference to FIG.

FIG. 9 shows a residual stress-plastic strain diagram in the same manner as FIG. Here, a solid line is a case where the surface hardness of the object to be inspected is H1, and is the same diagram as FIG. On the other hand, in the case of surface hardness H2 (> H1), as shown by the broken line, the residual stress for the same plastic strain increases. Further, in the case of the surface hardness H3 (<H1), as indicated by the alternate long and short dash line, the residual stress with respect to the same plastic strain becomes small.

Therefore, in step S101, when the surface hardness is H1, the data processing apparatus 400 calculates the residual stress from the plastic strain using the residual stress-plastic strain diagram indicated by the solid line. When the surface hardness is H2, the residual stress is calculated from the plastic strain using a residual stress-plastic strain diagram indicated by a broken line.

Further, for example, a residual stress-plastic strain diagram with respect to a plurality of surface hardnesses shown in FIG. 9 is provided as a map. For example, when the surface hardness is hardness H1 and hardness H2, interpolation is used at that time. The residual stress can be calculated from the plastic strain at the hardness of.

According to the present embodiment, the hardness can be measured simultaneously with the residual stress, and the value of the residual stress can be corrected in consideration of the influence of the surface hardness, so that the residual stress can be measured with higher accuracy. .

Next, a stress improvement method using the residual stress measuring apparatus according to each embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing a residual stress measurement method using the residual stress measurement device according to each embodiment of the present invention.

本実施形態では、WJP(Water Jet Peening:ウォータージェットピーニング)により応力改善するようにしている。   In the present embodiment, the stress is improved by WJP (Water Jet Peening).

First, in step S200, the residual stress distribution before stress improvement is measured according to the process shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. 7 using the residual stress measuring apparatus having the configuration shown in FIG.

Next, in step S210, WJP is performed on a portion where it is found that tensile residual stress is generated or a portion where the tensile residual stress is generated, and the stress is improved.

Thereafter, in step S220, the residual stress distribution is measured as in step S200.

In step S230, the result of step S200 is compared with the result of step S220. In step S240, it is determined whether or not there is an unimproved portion of stress. WJP is performed again on the part.

According to the present embodiment, the stress can be improved while checking the presence or absence of residual stress.
