345.4部のビスフェノールAのジグリシジルエーテルAraldite(登録商標)GY2600、79.4部のビスフェノールA、27.3部のフェノール、および10.8部のプロピレングリコールブチルエーテルを好適な反応器に充填して、例示的配合物を作る。反応器の内容物を窒素でおおい、反応器を110℃まで加熱する。この時点で、トリフェニルホスフィン0.45部およびプロピレングリコールブチルエーテルをさらに0.6部加えると、温度は180℃〜200℃に上昇する。反応器を冷まし、35分間135℃に維持する。

- 水性塗装組成物の製造方法であって、
供給原料を形成する工程であって、
樹脂および硬化剤を前記樹脂および試剤の融点またはそれ以上の混合温度で混合して均一な溶融ブレンドを形成する工程と、
前記溶融ブレンドを冷却して固体ブレンドを形成する工程と、
前記固体ブレンドを粉砕して前記供給原料を製造する工程と
を含むプロセスによって供給原料を形成する工程と、
前記供給原料、塩形成剤、少なくとも1種の添加剤、および水を混ぜ合わせる工程と、
前記供給原料、塩形成剤、少なくとも1種の添加剤、および水を混合して分散液を形成する工程と
を含み、それによって前記水性塗装組成物を形成する方法。 - 前記供給原料、塩形成剤、少なくとも1種の添加剤、および水を混ぜ合わせる前に、前記供給原料をその溶融温度未満で貯蔵して焼結を防ぐことをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。

- 樹脂および硬化剤をブレンドする工程と、
前記硬化剤の熱硬化温度未満の温度で前記樹脂および前記硬化剤を溶融させる工程と、
前記ブレンドされ溶融された樹脂および硬化剤を固体になるまで冷却して樹脂と硬化剤との固体ブレンドを形成する工程と、
前記樹脂と硬化剤との固体ブレンドを粉砕して粉末形態または粒状形態にして樹脂と硬化剤との粒状固体を製造する工程と、
前記樹脂と硬化剤との粒状固体を水性媒体に分散させて塗装分散液を形成する工程と、
前記塗装分散液を物品に塗布する工程と
を含む、物品の塗装方法。 - 前記分散工程の前に、前記樹脂と硬化剤との粒状固体を塗装製造場所へ輸送する工程をさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記粉砕工程の前に、前記樹脂と硬化剤との固体ブレンドを塗装製造場所へ輸送する工程をさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記樹脂がイオン性である、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化剤が化学線活性架橋剤である、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記化学線活性架橋剤が紫外線照射または電子ビーム照射によって活性化される、請求項30に記載の方法。

前記樹脂と架橋剤との固体混合物を水中に分散させる工程と
