Abstract
【解決手段】マイクロデポジションシステム20及び方法は、基板の上に精密な量の流体材料を堆積させる。マイクロデポジションヘッド50は、基板上に堆積した際の堆積幅をもつ液滴を発射する間隔を置いて配置された複数のノズルを含む。位置決め装置は基板に対してマイクロデポジションヘッド50をヘッド速度で動かす。制御装置22は、分解能を改善するため液滴の幅で割り算したヘッド速度より実質的に高い速度でオーバークロッキング信号を発生する。制御装置22は、位置決め装置用の位置制御信号を発生する位置決めモジュールを有する。制御装置22は、基板上の特徴を画定する液滴を形成するようにノズルを作動するためオーバークロッキングの速度に基いてノズル作動コマンドを発生するノズル作動モジュールを有する。

前記制御手段は、前記移動手段の移動速度を前記基板上に吐出された液滴の幅で割った値より大きな周波数のクロック信号を使用して、前記移動手段の制御量及び前記ノズルの吐出タイミングを決定すること
を特徴としている。
構成セット276を選択するさらに別の方法は当業者に明らかである。

- 液滴を基板上に吐出する複数のノズルを有するヘッドと、
前期基板を保持するステージと、
前記ステージ上に前記基板と前記ヘッドの相対的位置を変更する移動手段と、
前記移動手段の移動と、前記ノズルの吐出タイミングを制御する制御手段と、
を有し、
前記制御手段は、前記移動手段の移動速度を前記基板上に吐出された液滴の幅で割った値より大きな周波数のクロック信号を使用して、前記移動手段の制御量及び前記ノズルの吐出タイミングを決定すること
を特徴とするマイクロデポジション装置。
