Abstract
【解決手段】歯面2をジャイロ研磨加工によって平滑化し、この平滑化した歯面2に、無数の微小凹形状のくぼみ3を、微小な硬質粒子を液体と一緒に衝突させる液体ホーニング加工でランダムに形成することにより、液体ホーニング加工によって歯面2に大きな圧縮残留応力を形成し、加工工程を増加させることなく、耐アブレジョン性と耐スコーリング性のほかに、ピッチングや歯欠けに対する疲労強度を高めることができるようにした。

Claims (7)
- 歯面に微小凹形状のくぼみをランダムに無数に設けた歯車において、前記くぼみを設けた面の面粗さパラメータが、Ryni:2.0〜5.5μm、Rymax:2.5〜7.0μm、Rqni:0.3〜1.1μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする歯車。
- 前記歯面を研磨加工によって平滑化し、この平滑化した歯面に、前記無数のくぼみを、微小な硬質粒子を衝突させるくぼみ形成手段でランダムに形成した請求項1に記載の歯車。
- 前記研磨加工による平滑化後の歯面の表面粗さを、Ryni:0.7〜1.5μm、Rymax:0.9〜2.5μm、Rqni:0.1〜0.3μmとした請求項2に記載の歯車。
- 前記研磨加工をジャイロ研磨加工とした請求項2または3に記載の歯車。
- 前記くぼみ形成手段に使用する硬質粒子を、酸化アルミニウムを主成分とし、外径寸法が0.1〜1mmのものとした請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の歯車。
- 前記くぼみ形成手段を液体ホーニング加工とした請求項2乃至5のいずれかに記載の歯車。
- 前記歯車が自動車のトランスミッションに使用されるものである請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の歯車。
