Abstract

前記本体部分の前記外面の少なくとも一部に被着され、少なくとも一部が治療物質から成る第1の被膜と、
前記第1の被膜の少なくとも実質的な部分を覆う第2の被膜とを有し、前記第2の被膜は、前記本体部分が前記管腔内への挿入の際、前記第1の位置にあるときに前記治療物質の溶出をほぼ阻止し、しかも前記第2の被膜が、前記第2の位置への前記本体部分の拡張中に亀裂を生じ、前記治療物質が第2の被膜に生じた裂け目を通って溶出できるように比較的非弾性的である材料から成る、

ことを特徴とする脈管内ステント。 - 投薬用カテーテルであって、遠方側端部及び手元側端部を備えると共に膨張用内腔を備えた長手方向に延びるシャフトと、外面を備え、前記膨張用内腔と流体連通状態で前記シャフトの遠方側端部に近接して位置したバルーン部材とを有し、前記バルーン部材は、脈管内へ挿入可能な大きさになっている萎んだ第1の位置から、前記外面のうち少なくとも一部が血管壁に接触する第2の位置になるよう膨張可能であり、前記カテーテルは、前記バルーン部材の前記外面の少なくとも一部に被着され、少なくとも一部が治療物質から成る第1の被膜と、前記第1の被膜の少なくとも実質的な部分を覆う第2の被膜とを有し、前記第2の被膜は、前記第2の被膜が、前記第2の位置への前記バルーン部材の膨張に応答して亀裂を生じ、前記治療物質が第2の被膜に生じた裂け目を通って溶出できるように比較的非弾性的である材料から成る、
