Abstract
【解決手段】発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含み、前記制御スイッチは、前記センサ部により感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを選択する手段を含む発光装置を提供する。

Description
本発明の発光装置の回路構成について説明する。図1は本発明の発光装置の回路ブロック図である。図1において、101は温度検知部であり、発光装置の環境温度を検知する。環境温度の検知は、発光装置内の任意の位置に温度検知部を設置することで行う。温度検知部は、温度検知部回路102、制御スイッチ103、駆動回路104、表示部105が形成される基板と同一の基板上に形成しても良いし、異なる基板上に形成しても良い。温度検知部回路102は温度検知部101で生じた電流、あるいは電圧の変化を検出し、アナログ/デジタル変換(A/D変換)して制御スイッチ103に信号を出力する。温度検知部回路102は検知した環境温度が所定の温度を超えていない場合には駆動回路をON状態にするように信号を制御スイッチ103へ送る。そして制御スイッチ103は駆動回路104をON状態とし、駆動回路104によって表示部105に電流、あるいは信号が供給され、表示部105の所定の発光素子が発光する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の発光装置の構成について図8および図9を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明を実施するための発光素子の構成を示す。本実施の形態では、発光素子として、図6に示す有機EL素子について説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態1〜実施の形態3に示す発光装置をその一部に含む電子機器について説明する。

Claims (12)
- 発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含み、
前記制御スイッチは、前記センサ部により感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを選択する手段を含むことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 同一の絶縁体上に、発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含み、
前記制御スイッチは、前記センサ部により感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを選択する手段を含むことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された駆動回路、前記駆動回路に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含み、
前記制御スイッチは、前記センサ部により感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを選択する手段を含むことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 同一の絶縁体上に、発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された駆動回路、前記駆動回路に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含み、
前記制御スイッチは、前記センサ部により感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを選択する手段を含むことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項において、前記発光素子は、有機EL素子であることを特徴とする発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項において、前記発光素子は、薄膜トランジスタに接続されていることを特徴とする発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項において、前記発光素子は、ストライプ状に形成された第1の電極と、前記第1の電極に直交するようにストライプ状に形成された第2の電極の間に設けられていることを特徴とする発光装置
- 請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか一に記載の発光装置を含むことを特徴とする電子機器。
- 発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含む発光装置の駆動方法であり、
前記センサ部によって感知された環境温度に応じて発光素子の発光状態と非発光状態のいずれかを、前記制御スイッチによって選択することを特徴とする発光装置の駆動方法。 - 同一の絶縁体上に、発光素子を有する画素部と、前記画素部に接続された制御スイッチ、ならびに前記制御スイッチに接続されたセンサ部を含む発光装置の駆動方法であり、
