Abstract
【解決手段】非水溶性生体適合性材料中に生体適合性水溶性高分子繊維が混合分散されてなる生体用足場材。即ち、熱可塑性樹脂であり生体許容性のあるポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)と、水溶性高分子であるカルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)からなる繊維(繊維径100〜150μm)を特定の体積比で粉砕ミルにて180℃で30分混練した後、165℃、30MPaの加熱圧縮によって厚さ3mm、5cm角の板状に成形した。これらを5×10mmに切り出し、純水中に72時間浸漬した後、102℃で一晩乾燥して作成することができる。

Description
この結果、術者の手術時の操作によって気孔構造が壊れてしまう。また、パテ状の生体材料では、ベッドサイドで材料自体が変形されあるいは練り込まれるため、あらかじめ気孔を作成していても気孔構造が破壊されてしまうという問題があった。
この結果、生体への適合時に与えられる外力によって孔が壊れるような恐れが無くなった。

この多孔体を用い、足場材料としての評価を行った。
MG63細胞を10%のウシ胎児血清、1%の抗生物質を加えたダルベッコモディファイド培地(以下DMEM)で培養し、増殖させた。
作製したHAp/Col多孔体に上記MG63をDMEMで懸濁した細胞懸濁液を滴下し、真空で懸濁液を多孔体中に導入後、1時間静置した。その後、DMEMを所定量加え、7日間培養した。
図39は得られた複合体を固定、パラフィン包埋後薄切し、HE染色したものである。細胞が多孔体表面及び内部に侵入し、良好に成育していることが判る。

- 細胞や組織を保持する為の生体用足場材であって、非水溶性生体適合性材料中に生体適合性水溶性高分子繊維が混合されてなることを特徴とする生体用足場材。
