Description

The present invention relates to a cleaning glaze agent for handrail belts that simultaneously polishes handrail belts such as escalators or moving walkways.

Escalators and moving walkways installed in many places such as department stores, home centers, public facilities, and station buildings are equipped with handrail belts for users to grasp from a safety standpoint. However, these handrail belts are easily soiled, and if the soiling is significant, there are concerns that the number of users trying to grab from a sanitary point of view decreases, and the function of the handrail belt at the corner is not exhibited.

Therefore, a cleaning operation is performed to remove the dirt on the handrail belt and restore the aesthetics. Conventionally, the method of removing dirt from handrail belts uses a detergent such as a neutral detergent or a weak alkaline detergent as a cleaning agent, and dilutes it into a cleaning solution. It was general. However, even if mild stains on the surface of the handrail belt can be removed simply by wiping with a detergent such as a neutral detergent or a weak alkaline detergent, the subsequent surface polishing effect cannot be obtained. Therefore, after removing the dirt, the polishing operation was performed by wiping with a dilute solution of a polishing agent containing a silicone emulsion commercially available as a polishing agent (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
JP-A-11-92797

As described above, when cleaning the handrail belt, it is possible to remove the dirt on the surface by simply wiping with a cleaning solution diluted with neutral detergent or weak alkaline detergent, but the subsequent surface polishing effect can be obtained. Because there is no dirt, it is wiped with a polishing agent containing silicone emulsion after removing the dirt, leaving a thin film on the surface to achieve a polishing effect, but with a sticky feeling of silicone etc. on the belt In many cases, the user is hesitant to touch the hand, and there has been a problem that a sufficient effect of the handrail belt at the corner cannot be obtained. In addition, if the polishing agent is a type in which the solid content is left on the belt surface, the solid content may be peeled off from the belt surface and dropped on the machine when it causes poor adhesion during continuous operation. There is also a problem that the use of the device is avoided because it is also expected.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning glaze agent for handrail belts that has a glossing effect and has no sticky feeling while washing a handrail belt such as an escalator or a moving sidewalk.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventor has intensively studied components having a cleaning property and a glazing effect on materials such as SBR, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, and urethane, which are generally used for belts.
