Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a preventive maintenance method for a pipe welded portion, and more particularly, to a preventive maintenance method for a pipe welded portion suitable for imparting compressive residual stress to the inner surface of a welded portion of a recirculation piping of a boiling water reactor.
In a nuclear power plant, for example, a boiling water power plant (referred to as a BWR plant), inspection using an ultrasonic flaw detector or the like is periodically performed on piping such as recirculation piping connected to a nuclear reactor. . If a crack is found in the pipe by this inspection, a repair work is performed in which a portion where the pipe crack exists is cut and removed and replaced with a new pipe. New pipes are joined by welding. After joining a new pipe, tensile residual stress is generated near the inner surface of the welded part of the pipe. This tensile residual stress may contribute to stress corrosion cracking (hereinafter referred to as SCC) on the inner surface of the welded portion of the replaced pipe.
In a nuclear power plant, it is an important issue to suppress the occurrence of stress corrosion cracking (hereinafter referred to as SCC) of a structural material from the viewpoint of improving the operating rate.
Connected to the recirculation inlet nozzle provided in the reactor pressure vessel (hereinafter referred to as RPV) of the BWR plant and implemented on the inner surface of the welded part of the riser pipe (part of the recirculation system pipe) arranged inside and outside the RPV A surface modification method is described in JP-A-2002-277582. This surface modification method is performed using a polishing apparatus, a laser irradiation apparatus, and an inspection apparatus. The riser pipe connected to the recirculation inlet nozzle is cut outside the RPV, and the polishing apparatus, the laser irradiation apparatus and the inspection apparatus are generated by the cutting, and sequentially from the opening of the riser pipe through the recirculation inlet nozzle It is inserted into a riser tube located in the RPV. Modification of the inner surface of the welded portion of the riser pipe is performed to suppress the occurrence of SCC.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-197679 describes a method for repairing an inner surface of a nozzle in which an inner surface of a nozzle provided in an RPV is polished and inspected, and then a cladding layer is formed on the inner surface. The inner surface of the nozzle is repaired by pressing a water shielding case inside the RPV to prevent water from flowing into the nozzle. The pipe connected to the nozzle is cut outside the RPV, and the polishing apparatus is inserted into the nozzle. The inner surface of the nozzle is polished by a polishing tool provided in the polishing apparatus. After polishing, the inner surface of the nozzle is inspected by an inspection device, and a clad layer is formed.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-69596 describes that a self-propelled inspection / repair robot is run in the piping of a nuclear power plant, and the inspection and repair in the piping is performed by this robot.
Tensile residual stress is generated in the vicinity of the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe after completion of the pipe replacement work. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-277582 also discloses that each device is taken out from the opening of the recirculation system pipe after the reforming operation of the inner surface of the welded part such as the riser pipe is finished, and the recirculation system pipe is cut. New piping is joined. Similarly, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-197679, a new pipe is joined to a cut portion of the pipe after the repair of the inner surface of the nozzle. In such Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-277582 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-197679, tensile residual stress is generated near the inner surface of the welded portion of the connected pipe.
The vicinity of the welded part of the stainless steel pipe has SCC sensitivity, and it is said that there are three factors of SCC: material, stress and environment. The SCC resistance is improved by removing at least one of the above three factors. Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-277582 changes the tensile residual stress into a compressive residual stress by laser irradiation to the inner surface of the welded portion, and prevents the occurrence of SCC in the riser pipe and the thermal sleeve. However, in order to perform the work, the recirculation system pipe is cut, and after the work is finished, a new pipe is joined to the cut portion of the pipe. A new weld having a tensile residual stress on the inner surface is generated at another location in the recirculation piping. A similar problem occurs in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-197679.
The tensile compressive residual stress can also be changed to the compressive residual stress by polishing the vicinity of the inner surface of the welded portion with a polishing apparatus as described in JP-A-2002-277582 and JP-A-10-197679. . In the recirculation system piping of a BWR plant, when a polishing apparatus is inserted from the opening formed by removing the recirculation pump or valve provided in the recirculation system piping, the vicinity of the inner surface of the welded portion of the piping is polished. Therefore, it is necessary to move the polishing apparatus from the opening to the inner surface of the weld. Therefore, it takes a long time to start the operation of applying compressive residual stress to the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe.
An object of the present invention is to provide a preventive maintenance method for a pipe welded portion that can shorten the time required for applying compressive residual stress to the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe.
The feature of the present invention that achieves the above-described object is that a moving body having a compressive residual stress applying device that applies compressive residual stress is inserted into the pipe from an opening formed by cutting the pipe constituting the pipe system. The pipe system is repaired by welding both ends of the pipe member to the cut part of the pipe in a state where the moving body is present in the pipe, and using the compressive residual stress applying device, near the inner surface of the welded part of the pipe member It is to generate compressive residual stress.
The present invention repairs the piping system by welding both ends of the piping member to the cutting location of the piping in a state where the moving body inserted into the piping from the opening formed by cutting is present in the piping. The time required for moving the moving body to the inner surface of the welded portion of the piping member and starting the operation of applying the compressive residual stress using the compressive residual stress applying device can be shortened.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the time required until a compressive residual stress is provided to the welding part inner surface of piping can be shortened.
The inventors examined various methods for applying a compressive residual stress applying device such as a polishing device near the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe to quickly apply the compressive residual stress near the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe. As a result, the inventors have realized that it is only necessary to insert a compressive residual stress applying device in advance from the opening created by the cutting into the pipe cut for repair, and to wait in the vicinity of the cutting portion. It was. Thereby, after connecting a new pipe to the cut portion of the pipe, it is possible to remarkably shorten the time required for positioning the compressive residual stress applying device on the inner surface of the welded portion.

Both ends of the
After the
After the polishing and inspection in the vicinity of the inner surfaces of the
After the in-
Since it is necessary to join the
After this inspection is completed, as in the case of the

With the above operation, the replacement operation of the
In the present embodiment, the
In this embodiment, since the in-
In the recirculation system piping 10 of the BWR plant, after the polishing operation to the welded
When the riser pipe 15C connected to the upper end of the
When the
Since the in-

A preventive maintenance method for a welded portion of a pipe according to
The PT head is used when performing a penetrant test (PT). PT is a kind of non-destructive inspection for finding scratches (cracks) opened on the material surface. The inspection by PT is performed as follows. An infiltrating liquid for inspection (such as red) is applied to the surface of the structural material to be inspected, and this infiltrated liquid is soaked into cracks existing on the surface of the structural material. After the set permeation time has elapsed, the permeate is once removed from the surface of the structural material, and after the surface is dried, a developer (white or the like) is applied to the surface of the structural material. As a result, the permeated liquid that has penetrated into the cracks oozes out on the surface of the structural material and draws an indication pattern. The presence of cracks and the state of cracks can be known by looking at this indication pattern.
Other configurations of the
For example, the

In the present embodiment, the effects produced in the first embodiment can be obtained. Further, since PT inspection is performed on the inner surfaces of the welded
In the second embodiment, the
In each of the above-described embodiments, compressive residual stress is applied to the vicinity of the inner surface of the welded portion between the new pipe and the original pipe when the pipe with the crack is replaced with the new pipe. -After applying the work described in JP-A-277582 and JP-A-10-197679, it can also be applied to the application of compressive residual stress to the inner surface of the welded portion produced by welding the pipe to the cut portion of the pipe. it can.
