Abstract
【解決手段】反射型光学エンコーダは、反射コーディング要素と、複数のエミッタと、検出器とを含む。反射コーディング要素は、反射部分と非反射部分とが交互に配置されて成るトラックを含む。複数のエミッタのそれぞれは、コーディング要素のトラックに対して入射する対応する光信号を生成するように構成されている。検出器は、トラックの反射部分から反射された対応する光信号を検出するように構成されている。1つの実施形態において、検出器は、別個のフォトセンサグループ内に位置される複数のフォトセンサを含み、各フォトセンサグループは複数のエミッタのうちの1つに対応している。光学エンコーダの実施形態は、形状因子が小さいエンコーダに適しており、エンコーダ組み立ての容易性を高める。

Claims (20)
- 反射部分と非反射部分とが交互に配置されて成るトラックを備える反射コーディング要素と、
前記コーディング要素のトラックに対して入射する対応する光信号を生成するように構成された複数のエミッタと、
トラックの反射部分から反射された対応する光信号を検出するように構成されるとともに、別個のフォトセンサグループ内に位置される複数のフォトセンサを備え、各フォトセンサグループが複数のエミッタのうちの1つに対応する検出器と、
を備える反射型光学エンコーダ。 - 複数のフォトセンサが検出器の縁部近傍に位置される、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- 複数のエミッタと複数のフォトセンサとをカプセル封入するためのカプセル材料を更に備える、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- カプセル材料が複数のレンズを形成し、各レンズがフォトセンサグループのうちの1つ及び対応するエミッタと位置合わせされる、請求項3に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- 各レンズは、対応するエミッタからトラックへと光信号を方向付けるとともに、トラックから反射された光信号を対応するフォトセンサグループへと方向付けるように構成されている、請求項4に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- コーディング要素がコードホイールを備える、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- コーディング要素がコードストリップを備える、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- 別個のフォトセンサグループのうちの少なくとも1つが単一のフォトセンサを備える、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- 単一のフォトセンサがモニタフォトセンサを備える、請求項8に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- 別個のフォトセンサグループのうちの少なくとも1つが1つより多いフォトセンサを備える、請求項1に記載の反射型光学エンコーダ。
- コーディング要素のトラックであってコーディング部分を備える前記トラックに対して入射する複数の光信号を生成する手段と、
コーディング要素の動きを検出する手段と、
複数の光信号のクロストークを減少させる手段と、
を備える光学エンコーダ。 - 光学エンコーダをカプセル封入する手段を更に備える、請求項11に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 光信号をトラックへ方向付け、反射された光信号を前記検出手段へ方向付ける手段を更に備える、請求項11に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- コーディング要素が反射コーディング要素を備える、請求項11に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- コーディング要素がイメージングコーディング要素を備える、請求項11に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 光学エンコーダ内の検出器であって、
検出器の第1の縁部の近傍に位置されるとともに、少なくとも1つのフォトセンサを備える第1のフォトセンサグループと、
検出器の反対側の縁部に位置されるとともに、少なくとも1つのフォトセンサを備える第2のフォトセンサグループと、
を備える検出器。 - 第1および第2のフォトセンサグループは、第1および第2のエミッタと位置合わせするように位置決めされる、請求項16に記載の検出器。
- 第1および第2のフォトセンサグループは、第1および第2の光学レンズと位置合わせするように位置決めされる、請求項17に記載の検出器。
- 第1および第2のフォトセンサグループが異なる数のフォトセンサを備える、請求項16に記載の検出器。
- コーディング要素がコードホイールを備え、第1のフォトセンサグループが検出器の第1の縁部に対してゼロでない第1の角度を成してコードホイールの第1の径方向ラインに沿って位置され、第2のフォトセンサグループが検出器の反対側の縁部に対してゼロでない第2の角度を成してコードホイールの第2の径方向ラインに沿って位置される、請求項16に記載の検出器。
