Description

The present invention relates to a paper sheet separating mechanism and a paper sheet separating method for separating paper sheets one by one from a bundle of paper sheets such as postal items and supplying them to a downstream processing unit, and further to such a paper sheet. The present invention relates to a paper sheet supply device including a paper separation mechanism.

2. Description of the Related Art There is known a paper sheet separation mechanism that separates paper sheets one by one from a bundle of paper sheets such as mail and supplies them to a downstream processing unit. For example, the paper sheet supply apparatus shown in FIG. 18 includes a mounting table 101 on which the paper sheet bundle 10 is placed in a standing position, and a transport conveyor 102 that transports the placed paper sheet bundle 10 toward the downstream. And a paper sheet separating mechanism 103 that separates the paper sheets 11 one by one from the paper sheet bundle 10 transported to the terminal end of the transport conveyor 102 and supplies them to the downstream processing unit.

In such a paper sheet supply apparatus, the paper sheet bundle 10 placed in a standing position on the mounting table 101 is maintained by the compartment 104 provided on the transport conveyor 102 and is maintained by the compartment 104 and the bottom belt 105. It is conveyed toward the paper sheet separating mechanism 103. The paper sheet bundle 10 that has arrived at the paper sheet separating mechanism 103 is adsorbed to the vacuum adsorbing chamber 107 via the adsorbing belt 106 in order from the leading paper sheet 11, and is moved in a predetermined transport direction by the circumferential movement of the adsorbing belt 106. It is supplied one by one (in the direction of the arrow).

However, in the suction belt type paper sheet separating mechanism 103 configured as described above, when separating one paper sheet 11 from the paper sheet bundle 10 having strong adhesion, only one paper can be separated well. In some cases, two or more messages were supplied simultaneously. For example, when paper sheets with vinyl coatings on top of each other are stacked, the paper sheets are bonded with a strong adhesion, so that they are not separated by the adsorption / conveying action by the adsorption belt 106, and a plurality of sheets overlap. There was a problem of being supplied in the state.

Therefore, using a movable suction head (suction cup), the suction / peeling means (capturing means) for peeling off the edge of the paper sheet from the bundle of paper sheets, and the paper sheet with the edge peeled off. There has been proposed a paper sheet separating mechanism that includes a separating means (separating means) for separating from a paper sheet bundle and a conveying means for conveying the paper sheet separated from the paper sheet bundle toward a downstream processing unit. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1). According to such a paper sheet separation mechanism, the edge of the paper sheet can be partially adsorbed and peeled off from the paper sheet bundle, so compared to the adsorption belt type paper sheet separation mechanism, Excellent separation performance can be exhibited.
JP 63-106245 A

However, since the suction head of the paper sheet separation mechanism described in Patent Document 1 merely moves linearly in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the paper sheet, the paper whose edges are in close contact with each other with a strong force In the case of leaf bundles, there was a possibility that peeling of paper sheets could fail.

The present invention has been considered in view of the above circumstances, a paper sheet separating mechanism that can reliably separate paper sheets one by one from a paper sheet bundle having strong adhesion and can be stably supplied, paper An object is to provide a leaf separation method and a paper sheet supply apparatus.

In order to achieve the above object, a paper sheet separation mechanism according to the present invention is a paper sheet separation mechanism that separates paper sheets from a bundle of paper sheets one by one and supplies them to a downstream processing unit. In this way, not only can the separated paper sheets be reliably conveyed, but the separation roller can also be used as a part of the conveying means, and the structure of the conveying means can be simplified.

In this way, the partially peeled paper sheet can be quickly and reliably separated from the paper sheet bundle.

As described above, according to the present invention, the edge of the paper sheet is sucked by the suction head, and the edge of the paper sheet is peeled off from the paper sheet bundle by the twisting motion of the suction head. Paper sheets can be reliably separated one by one from a strong bundle of paper sheets and can be supplied stably.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in these drawings, the paper sheet supply apparatus includes a paper sheet transport mechanism 20 that transports the paper sheet bundle 10 placed in a standing position toward the downstream, and a paper sheet transport mechanism 20. A paper sheet separating mechanism 30 that separates the paper sheets 11 one by one from the paper sheet bundle 10 conveyed to the end portion and supplies the paper sheets 11 to the downstream processing unit is provided.

[Paper transport mechanism]
FIG. 3 is a plan view showing a paper sheet transport mechanism (standing position maintaining transport state) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a plan view showing the paper sheet transport mechanism (posture control transport state) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a front view showing a paper sheet transport mechanism (attitude control transport state) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in these drawings, the paper sheet transport mechanism 20 provides an additional force for transport while supporting the posture of the paper sheet bundle 10 and the mounting table 21 on which the paper sheet bundle 10 is placed in a standing position. The end plate 22, a standing maintenance transport unit 23 that transports the sheet bundle 10 while maintaining the standing state, and the sheet bundle 10 transported to the end portion of the standing maintenance transport unit 23 An attitude control conveying means 24 that controls the attitude of the sheet bundle 10 while conveying toward the separation mechanism 30 is provided.

The standing position maintaining conveyance unit 23 includes a conveyance belt 25 with a claw that engages with a lower end portion of the paper sheet 11.
Two conveyor belts 25 are arranged side by side along the mounting table 21, and are driven at substantially the same speed as the end plate 22, so that the sheet bundle 10 is maintained in the standing state and the downstream attitude control conveyance is performed. It is conveyed toward the means 24.

The attitude control conveyance means 24 includes a conveyance belt 26 with claws that engages with the lower end of the paper sheet 11, and an angle detection sensor 27 that detects the attitude of the paper sheet 11.
Two conveyance belts 26 are arranged side by side so as to take over the paper sheet 11 from the conveyance belt 25.
The angle detection sensor 27 is disposed in the conveyance path of the attitude control conveyance unit 24 and detects the angle of the paper sheet 11. For example, when the target angle of the paper sheet 11 in the posture control is 30 °, the three angle detection sensors 27 are arranged on a straight line that intersects at 30 ° with respect to the conveyance direction of the paper sheet 11 when viewed from the front. Based on the detection timing of these angle detection sensors 27, the angle of the paper sheet 11 is detected.

In the paper sheet transport mechanism 20 configured as described above, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, when the paper sheet bundle 10 is placed in a standing position on the placing table 21 (conveyor belt 25), the paper sheet is placed. The sheet bundle 10 thus conveyed is conveyed downstream while maintaining the standing state by the conveyance drive of the end plate 22 and the conveyance belt 25.
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the sheet bundle 10 is successively transferred from the conveyance belt 25 to the conveyance belt 26. Since the transport belt 26 is transported and driven at a higher speed than the transport belt 25 (end plate 22), the sheet bundle 10 is transported downstream while changing the angle. At that time, the angle of the sheet bundle 10 can be adjusted to an arbitrary value by detecting the angle of the sheet bundle 10 by the angle detection sensor 27 and feedback controlling the driving speed of the conveying belt 25. Become. For example, in the present embodiment, the target angle of the sheet bundle 10 at the end portion of the conveyance belt 26 is set to 30 °, and the drive speed of the conveyance belt 25 is feedback-controlled.

FIG. 7A is a plan view showing a paper sheet separation mechanism (at the start of the adsorption / peeling process) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. FIG. 8A is a plan view showing a paper sheet separation mechanism (at the start of the separation process) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9A is a plan view showing a paper sheet separation mechanism (during the separation process) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, FIG. a) is a plan view showing a paper sheet separating mechanism (at the start of the transporting process) of the paper sheet supply apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, (b) is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA, and FIG. It is a top view which shows the paper sheet separation mechanism (during origin return) of the paper sheet supply apparatus which concerns on this embodiment.

As shown in these drawings, the paper sheet separating mechanism 30 has an adsorbing / peeling means 31 that adsorbs and peels off the end portion of the paper sheet 11 from the paper sheet bundle 10, and the end portion is peeled off. Separating means 32 for completely separating the paper sheet 11 from the paper sheet bundle 10 and a conveying means 33 for conveying the paper sheet 11 separated from the paper sheet bundle 10 toward the downstream processing unit. Yes.

The suction / peeling means 31 includes a suction head 34 that is connected to a vacuum source and sucks the end of the paper sheet 11 and an arm 35 that moves the suction head 34 in a predetermined direction. Here, the arm 35 not only moves the suction head 34 in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the paper sheet 11, but also tilts the suction surface of the suction head 34 with respect to the surface of the paper sheet 11, that is, suction. The suction head 34 is moved in a direction in which the end of the paper sheet 11 is twisted. For example, the arm 35 is driven so as to move the suction head 34 in the arrow direction shown in FIG.

The separation means 32 includes a rotatable separation roller 36, and the separation roller 36 is placed in a gap between the paper sheet 11 and the paper sheet bundle 10 partially peeled off by the suction / peeling means 31. The paper sheet 11 is completely separated from the paper sheet bundle 10 by being inserted.
In the present embodiment, three separation rollers 36a to 36c are radially provided on the pulley 37 that is rotationally driven. The separation rollers 36 a to 36 c are arranged in parallel with a predetermined interval in the rotation direction of the pulley 37, and not only revolve with the rotation of the predetermined pulley 37 but also rotate around the roller axis. Yes. The separation rollers 36 a to 36 c are sequentially inserted into the gap between the paper sheet 11 partially peeled off by the suction head 34 and the paper sheet bundle 10, so that the paper sheet 11 is made of paper. It is completely separated from the leaf bundle 10.
The rearmost separation roller 36c is provided with a conveyance guide 38 that prevents the paper sheets 11 from sagging.

The transport unit 33 includes a transport roller 39 that sandwiches the paper sheet 11 with the separation roller 36c, and the paper sheet 11 separated from the paper sheet bundle 10 by downstream driving of the transport roller 39 is processed downstream. It is comprised so that it may convey toward a part.
In the paper sheet separating mechanism 30 described above, the paper sheets of various angular postures (including a horizontal posture and a vertical posture) are adjusted by adjusting the angle of the revolution surface of the separation roller 36 and the moving direction of the suction head 34. Can handle bundles. Further, the angle of the revolution surface of the separation roller 36 and the direction of movement of the suction head 34 may be automatically adjusted according to the detection of the angle of the paper sheet in the paper sheet transport mechanism 20. Further, the separation performance of the paper sheet separating mechanism 30 can be further enhanced.

[Paper separation method]
Next, the paper sheet separating method will be described with reference to FIGS.

The suction head 34 is moved in the twisting direction while being lifted in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the paper sheet 11. Thereby, the edge part of the paper sheet 11 is peeled off from the paper sheet bundle 10. (Adsorption / peeling process)
Next, as shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, the pulley 37 is driven to rotate, and the separation rollers 36 a to 36 c are placed in the gaps between the paper sheet 11 and the paper sheet bundle 10 that have been partially peeled off. The paper sheets 11 are separated sequentially from the paper sheet bundle 10. When the rearmost separation roller 36c reaches the position facing the conveying roller 39, the rotation drive of the pulley 37 is temporarily stopped. (Separation process)
Next, as shown in FIG. 10, the suction of the paper sheet 11 by the suction head 34 is released, and the transport roller 39 is driven to rotate. As a result, the paper sheet 11 sandwiched between the transport roller 39 and the separation roller 36c is transported toward the downstream processing unit. At this time, the conveyance guide 38 prevents the paper sheet 11 from sagging. (Conveying process)
When the conveyance of the paper sheet 11 is completed, as shown in FIG. 11, the pulley 37 is driven to rotate again, and the separation rollers 36a to 36c are returned to the original position. (Home return process)

The twisting movement means includes a swing link 41 that supports the suction head 34 via the arm 35, a slider 43 that swingably supports the swing link 41 via a support shaft 42 parallel to the arm 35, and a slider 43 and an oscillating link 41, and an air cylinder 44 interposed between the oscillating link 41, and as shown in FIGS. The suction head 34 is twisted.

The vertical movement means includes a base 46 that supports the slider 43 slidably up and down via a guide rail 45, a servo motor 47 provided below the base 46, and a predetermined angular range according to the drive of the servo motor 47. And a connecting rod 49 for connecting the pulley 48 and the slide 43, and the suction head 34 is moved up and down by the slide of the slider 43 as the servo motor 47 is driven. Yes.

According to the paper sheet separation mechanism (paper sheet separation method) of the present embodiment as described above, the paper sheets 11 are separated from the paper sheet bundle 10 one by one and supplied to the downstream processing unit.
