  The original job ticket 10 includes a <jobticket> tag 12 indicating this electronic data job ticket.   The overwrite job ticket 30 is electronic data in which printing attributes to be forcibly set are described. In other words, the overwrite job ticket 30 is electronic data that indirectly indicates prohibited attributes that cannot be specified by the user and defines print attributes that should be set in place of the prohibited attributes. In this example, the overwrite job ticket 30 includes a <job> tag 32, a <color> tag 34, a value 36 indicating that the value is monochrome (monochrome), and a <sides> tag that defines a printing surface 38 and a value 40 indicating that the value is 2 (sheet; that is, double-sided printing) are described.   The standard value job ticket 50 is electronic data in which printing attributes to be set when the user does not specify otherwise are described. In this example, the standard value job ticket 50 includes a <jobties> tag 52, a <copies> tag 54 that defines the number of prints, a value 56 indicating that the value is 1 (sheet), and a paper size.   The corrected job ticket 70 is created by overwriting and adding the overwrite job ticket 30 to the original job ticket 10 (S10) and adding the standard value job ticket 50 when the print attribute is not set (S12).
