Abstract
【解決手段】このロイダル型無段変速機では、キャリア100とディスク2とが直接に摩擦接触し、キャリア100とディスク2との間の動力の伝達が摩擦力により行なわれる。そのため、従来のように歯車や爪をディスクまたはキャリアに加工する必要がなくなり、製造工程を短縮でき、製造コストを大幅に低減することができる。

Description
(伝達トルク)=(ディスク−キャリア間の摩擦係数)×(軸方向押し付け力)×(ディスク−キャリアの接触半径)
したがって、摩擦係数がトラクション係数よりも大きい場合には、接触半径が大きければ、ディスク−キャリア間で滑りが生じない。

として表わされる。
バックアップ体と出力側ディスク3との間に働く摩擦トルクT2は、
T2=μ2・Fod・r2 (式1)
となり、
一方、トラクション力によって出力側ディスク3に与えられるトルクT1は、

となる。
したがって、出力側ディスク3とバックアップ体との間で滑りが発生しないための条件は、

となる。
ここで、(式1)および(式2)を(式3)に代入すると、

Claims (9)
- 回転トルクが入力される入力軸と、それぞれの内側周面同士を互いに対向させた状態で互いに同心的に且つ回転自在に前記入力軸に支持された入力側ディスクおよび出力側ディスクと、前記入力側ディスクと前記出力側ディスクとの間に設けられ且つ前記入力側ディスクの回転力を所定の変速比で前記出力側ディスクに伝達するパワーローラと、前記ディスクとの間で動力の伝達を行なう動力伝達部材とを備えて成るトロイダル型無段変速機において、
前記動力伝達部材と前記ディスクとの間の動力伝達が摩擦力により行なわれることを特徴とするトロイダル型無段変速機。 - 前記動力伝達部材と前記ディスクとが直接に摩擦接触していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトロイダル型無段変速機。
- 前記動力伝達部材と前記ディスクとの間に摩擦材が介挿されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトロイダル型無段変速機。
- 前記摩擦材が前記動力伝達部材に固着して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のトロイダル型無段変速機。
- 前記入力軸が遊星歯車装置のキャリアと一体化されるとともに、前記キャリアが前記動力伝達部材を構成しており、それにより、トロイダル型無段変速機をトラクションドライブさせるために必要な軸方向の押付け力とトルクとが前記入力軸から前記キャリアを介して前記入力側ディスクに伝達されるようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載のトロイダル型無段変速機。
- 前記出力側ディスクから動力を受ける出力歯車を備え、この出力歯車が前記動力伝達部材を構成していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載のトロイダル型無段変速機。
- ディスクとパワーローラとの間の油膜を介したトラクション力により力が伝達されるトロイダル型無段変速機と遊星歯車装置とを組み合わせて成る無段変速装置であって、互いに隣接して配置された遊星歯車装置のキャリアとディスクとの間で動力が伝達される無段変速装置において、
前記キャリアと前記ディスクとの間の動力の伝達が摩擦力により行なわれることを特徴とする無段変速装置。 - 前記キャリアと前記ディスクとが直接に摩擦接触していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の無段変速装置。
- 前記キャリアと前記ディスクとの間に摩擦材が介挿されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の無段変速装置。
