また、行先階ボタン登録回路は、上記ドア安全回路とは別回路となっており、指紋照合回路もこの行先階ボタン登録回路に組み込まれている。
よって、万一の指紋照合器の故障にも、行先階登録が出来ない、又はサービス切放し用リレー接点(SC接点)のON故障、又はOFF故障の場合にも、行先階登録が出来ない、又はサービス切放しが行われないといった不具合動作は起こり得るが、上述の戸締まり検出回路は有効であるので、戸開き状態での走行はありえない。

それによってかご1は登録本人10の希望する階、例えばF1に行くことが出来る。

これを詳しく言うと通常は、指紋照合器により行先階サービス切放し状態となっている。指紋照合器で指紋認証されると、一時的に行先階ボタン登録可能状態となり、所定時間(指紋認証後約7秒)以内に行先階ボタンを押すと、戸閉動作となり運転方向が決定される。各種安全装置が正常で、且つカゴのドア、及び各階乗場のドアが戸締まり状態とし、戸締まり検査回路がON、安全回路がONとなりエレベータは目的階に走る。
逆に言うと、安全上の観点から、カゴ、乗場いずれかのドアが開いている場合には、戸締まり状態検出回路がOFFとなる為、巻上機への駆動もブレーキ解放も行わないように構成されている。
また、行先階ボタン登録回路は、上記ドア安全回路とは別回路となっており、指紋照合回路もこの行先階ボタン登録回路に組み込まれている。
よって、万一の指紋照合器の故障にも、行先階登録が出来ない、又はサービス切放し用リレー接点(SC接点)のON故障、又はOFF故障の場合にも、行先階登録が出来ない、又はサービス切放しが行われないといった不具合動作は起こり得るが、上述の戸締まり検出回路は有効であるので、戸開き状態での走行はありえない。
