Claims (6)
- 2波長光源から出射された光が少なくとも3つの光に分割された後光記録媒体で反射されれば、反射された前記光を検出する光検出器において、
8分割されており、前記光記録媒体で反射された前記3つの光を検出し電気的な信号に変換する第1検出器と、
前記第1検出器で変換された電気的な信号から差動プッシュプル法に基づいて第1トラッキングエラー信号を算出する第1算出部と、
前記第1検出器で変換された電気的な信号から非点収差法に基づいて第1フォーカシングエラー信号を算出し、位相差検出法に基づいて第2トラッキングエラー信号を算出する第2算出部と、
4分割されており、前記光記録媒体で反射された前記3つの光を検出し電気的な信号に変換する第2検出器と、
前記第2検出器で変換された電気的な信号から前記非点収差法に基づいて第2フォーカシングエラー信号および前記位相差検出法に基づいて第3トラッキングエラー信号を算出する第3算出部とを含むことを特徴とする光検出器。 - 前記第1検出器は、
上下左右2つずつ分割された4分割領域を有し、前記光記録媒体で反射された前記少なくとも3つの光のうち中心光を検出し電気的な信号に変換する第1中心センサーと、
上下および左右のうちいずれかに分割された2分割領域を有し、前記光記録媒体で反射された前記少なくとも3つの光のうち第1周辺光を検出して電気的な信号に変換する第1周辺センサーと、
前記上下および左右のうちいずれかに分割された前記2分割領域を有し、前記光記録媒体で反射された前記少なくとも3つの光のうち第2周辺光を検出する第2周辺センサーとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光検出器。 - 前記記録媒体は、DVD−R、DVD+RW、DVD−RW、およびCDのいずれか1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光検出器。
- 前記光記録媒体の種類に応じて前記第1および第2トラッキングエラー信号のいずれか1つを選択出力するスイッチング部を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光検出器。
- 前記光記録媒体がDVD−R、DVD+RW、DVD−RWのいずれか1つである場合、前記スイッチング部は前記第1算出部から算出された前記第1トラッキングエラー信号を選択出力し、前記光記録媒体がDVD−ROMである場合、前記スイッチング部は前記第2算出部から算出された前記第2トラッキングエラー信号を選択出力することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光検出器。
- 前記第3算出部は前期候記録媒体が前記CDである場合、前記第2フォーカシングエラー信号および第3トラッキングエラー信号を算出することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光検出器。
