Abstract
【解決手段】発光ダイオード150を金属基板161上に配置し、金属基板161をケース状に形成し、ケース内部に収納して発熱する発光ダイオード150を効果的に放熱する。金属ケースの内部空間には樹脂材175を充填して板状光源部130を形成する。樹脂材175を充填して板状光源部130とすることで、製造工程等における取り扱い時の信頼性を向上させる。また、樹脂材157を充填することにより、放熱効果も向上する。

Claims (3)
- 内面に画素形成用の電極を有する一対の透明基板の間に液晶層を挟持して構成された液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに背面に照明光を照射するバックライトと、
を備え、
前記バックライトは、複数の発光素子と、前記複数の発光素子を配置する回路基板と、前記回路基板を収容する金属ケースとを有し、前記金属ケース内部の前記回路基板上に樹脂材を充填させて一体形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 内面に画素形成用の電極を有する一対の透明基板の間に液晶層を挟持して構成された液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに背面に照明光を照射する面状光源装置と、
を備え、
前記面状光源装置は、線状に配置された複数の発光ダイオードと、前記複数の発光ダイオードを電気的に接続する回路基板と、前記回路基板を収納する側面及び底面を有するケースとを有し、前記ケース内部の前記複数の発光ダイオードと前記側面との間に樹脂材を充填させて一体形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 内面に画素形成用の電極を有する一対の透明基板の間に液晶層を挟持して構成された液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに背面に照明光を照射するバックライトと、
前記液晶表示パネルを制御するコントロール部と、
を備えた液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライトは、導光板と、前記導光板の一辺に沿って形成された板状光源部とを有し、
前記板状光源部は光出射面と、当該光出射面に対向する底面と、当該底面の周囲に形成された側面とを有し、
前記底面は、金属面と、当該金属面を覆う絶縁層と、当該絶縁層上に設けられた配線とを有し、
前記配線には複数の発光ダイオードが電気的に接続され、
前記側面または底面には開口が形成され、
前記複数の発光ダイオードと前記コントロール部とを電気的に接続する接続配線が前記開口に配置され、
前記絶縁層の上には樹脂層が形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
