Description

The present invention relates to an improvement in a rear window structure of an automobile.

Conventionally, as a measure to prevent fogging and water droplets on the rear window glass of automobiles, heat rays are incorporated into the rear window glass, or the heat rays are attached to the rear window glass through a film to cause fogging with the heat of the heat rays. A rear window structure is used to prevent water droplets from being generated. In addition, a rear window structure is generally employed in which conditioned air is blown onto the rear window glass from an air outlet on the vehicle interior side to suppress fogging and water droplet generation.

On the other hand, in Patent Document 1, an intermediate air layer is formed between an outer glass and an inner glass to form a front window glass, and conditioned air is introduced into the intermediate air layer to generate fog and water droplets on the front window glass. Try to prevent.
JP-A-8-310392 (paragraph 0026 column, FIG. 1)

However, in the rear window glass using the above-mentioned heat ray, there is a problem that it takes time and cost to provide the heat ray, and the heat ray is visible and looks bad. Further, when the conditioned air is blown from the vehicle interior side to the rear window glass, the sound of the conditioned air blowing from the air outlet gives an uncomfortable feeling to the occupant.

Further, in Patent Document 1, since an intermediate air layer is merely formed by interposing a spacer tape on the entire outer periphery of the outer glass and the inner glass, a support member for supporting both glasses on the intermediate air layer. There is no problem in the rigidity of wind glass.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to adopt a transparent resin rear wind panel instead of a conventional automobile rear window glass. It is intended to provide a rear window panel that secures sound insulation while ensuring rigidity and preventing fogging and water droplets on the rear window panel without providing heat rays.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention employs a conditioned air introduction system to an intermediate air layer as disclosed in Patent Document 1, and further devised the structure inside the intermediate air layer.

Specifically, the present invention is directed to a rear window structure in which a transparent resin rear window panel is fixed to an opening formed in a vehicle body of an automobile, and the following solution is taken.

That is, according to the present invention, the rear window panel includes a rectangular plate-shaped first panel component member and a rectangular plate-shaped second panel component member, and at least one of the first panel component member and the second panel component member. A plurality of projecting ribs extending from one end side toward the other end side are integrally projected at intervals on the panel surface of the panel constituent member, the first panel constituent member and the second panel constituent member, Are welded to the panel surface of the panel component member that faces each of the protruding ribs in a state where the protruding ribs face each other with a space therebetween, thereby penetrating from one end side to the other end side between adjacent protruding ribs. An air passage is formed, and the hollow passage communicates with an air introduction passage formed at one end around the opening of the vehicle body and an air lead-out passage formed at the other end around the opening. Introduced conditioned air Characterized in that it is constituted from the other end is introduced from one end side to flying in the to discharge to the air discharge passage.

According to the present invention, since a hollow path is formed between the first panel constituent member and the second panel constituent member so that conditioned air flows into the hollow path, labor and cost in the case of using heat rays are reduced. In addition, the appearance can be prevented from being deteriorated due to the appearance of the heat ray, and the hollow passage, the air introduction passage and the air outlet passage communicate with each other, so the passage of conditioned air passing through these passages. Sound is not leaked into the passenger compartment and sound insulation can be secured. Moreover, the rear window panel is welded by a plurality of protruding ribs extending from one end side toward the other end side at a plurality of locations on the panel surface of the first panel constituent member and the second panel constituent member. Since it is integrally formed, the rigidity of the rear window panel can be ensured.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a rear portion of a vehicle body 3 of a sedan type automobile 1 to which a rear window structure according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied. A substantially rectangular opening 11 surrounded by a roof 5, rear pillars 7 at both ends in the vehicle width direction and a trunk lid 9 is formed at the rear of the vehicle body 3. The opening 11 has a substantially rectangular transparent resin rear window. The panel 13 is fixed.

Of the two rear pillars 7, the right rear pillar 7 as viewed from the rear of the vehicle body 3 is welded so that a metal outer panel 15 and an inner panel 17 form an air introduction passage 21 therein, as shown in FIG. The air introduction passage 21 is located on one end side 11a around the opening 11 of the vehicle body 3 (right side in the vehicle width direction in FIG. 1). On the other hand, although not shown, the left rear pillar 7 as viewed from the rear of the vehicle body 3 also includes an outer panel 15 and an inner panel 17, and an air outlet passage is formed between the two panels 15, 17. It is located on the side 11b (left side in the vehicle width direction in FIG. 1). The air introduction passage 21 and the air lead-out passage are connected to an air conditioner (not shown) through a duct (not shown). On the opening 11 side of the outer panel 15 of each rear pillar 7, a communication hole 23 that communicates with an inlet 33 and a outlet 34 described later of the rear window panel 13 is formed. A pillar trim 19 is disposed on the vehicle interior side of each rear pillar 7 so as to cover the inner panel 17.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, the rear window panel 13 includes a rectangular plate-like first panel component member 25 (see FIG. 3) arranged on the vehicle interior side and a rectangular plate shape arranged on the vehicle interior side. The second panel constituting member 27 (see FIG. 4) has a two-layer structure in which it is superposed, and is fixed to the opening 11 of the vehicle body 3 so that the long side is substantially along the vehicle width direction. These first and second panel constituting members 25 and 27 are made of resin, and as a kind thereof, polycarbonate resin (PC) and acrylic resin (AC) are preferable, but not limited thereto.

As shown in FIG. 3, the vehicle exterior panel surface 25a of the first panel component member 25 extends from one end side 25b (right end side in FIG. 3) toward the other end side 25c (left end side in FIG. 3). The protruding ribs 29 of the book are integrally projected along the long side with a substantially equal interval. Out of the four protruding ribs 29, the outer two protrude from the upper and lower long side edges, and the remaining inner two protrude from the panel surface 25a in a position that divides the panel surface 25a into approximately three equal parts. On the other hand, the projecting rib 29 is not provided on the vehicle exterior panel surface 27a of the second panel component member 27, and is a flat surface.

In order to form the rear window panel 13 as shown in FIG. 5 with the first panel constituent member 25 and the second panel constituent member 27, the first panel constituent member 25 and the second panel configuration are attached to a welding jig (not shown). After setting the panel surfaces 25a, 27a facing each other with a gap between the member 27, the second panel component members facing each projecting rib 29 of the first panel component member 25 are brought close to each other. The first and second panel constituent members 25 and 27 are caused to relatively vibrate in the vehicle width direction by the welding jig and pressed against the panel surface 27a of the second panel constituent member 27. Vibration welding is performed on the panel surface 27a. As a result, the rear window panel 13 has a rectangular cross section that penetrates from one end side 13a (right end side in FIG. 5) to the other end side 13b (left end side in FIG. 5) between four adjacent projecting ribs 29. Three hollow passages 31 are formed one by one, and three inlets 33 and three outlets 34 communicating with the hollow passage 31 are formed on both end sides 13a and 13b of the rear window panel 13, respectively.

As shown in FIG. 2, the outer edge portion of the rear window panel 13 configured as described above has communication holes 37 (outlet ports 34) corresponding to the inlet port 33 and the outlet port 34 of the hollow path 31 in the rear window panel 13. A sealing material 35 having a communication hole corresponding to (not shown) is fitted over the entire circumference. In a state where the rear window panel 13 is fixed to the opening 11 via the sealing material 35, a protruding rib 29 and a hollow path are provided between the first panel component member 25 and the second panel component member 27. 31 extends in the vehicle width direction, and the hollow passage 31 communicates with the air introduction passage 21 and the air lead-out passage through the communication hole 37 of the sealing material 35.

In the rear window panel 13 communicated as described above, when warm air as conditioned air is introduced from the air conditioner into the air introduction passage 21 through a duct, the warm air is communicated with the communication hole 23 of the outer panel 15 and the seal. The material is introduced into the hollow path 31 from one end side 13a of the rear window panel 13 through the communication hole 37 of the material 35 and the introduction port 33 of the rear window panel 13, and moves to the outlet port 34 on the other end side 13b. The rear wind panel 13 is warmed in the process of the warm air moving through the hollow passage 31 to prevent fogging and water droplets from being generated. The warm air that has moved to the outlet 34 of the hollow passage 31 is led out to the air outlet passage through the communication hole of the sealing material 35 and the communication hole of the outer panel 15, and through the duct (not shown) to the air conditioner. Or it is led out of the car.

Therefore, according to the above embodiment, the hollow passage 31 is formed between the first panel constituent member 25 and the second panel constituent member 27 so that the warm air flows into the hollow passage 31. It is possible to prevent the appearance and deterioration of the appearance due to the visible heat rays, and the hollow passage 31, the air introduction passage 21 and the air outlet passage communicate with each other. The sound of the warm air passing through them does not leak into the passenger compartment, and sound insulation can be secured. In addition, the rear window panel 13 extends at four positions on the panel surfaces 25a and 27a of the first panel component member 25 and the second panel component member 27 at intervals from the one end side 13a to the other end side 13b. Since the ribs 29 are welded and integrally formed, the rigidity of the rear window panel 13 can be ensured.

Further, since the space formed between the outer panel 15 and the inner panel 17 of the rear pillar 7 is used as the air introduction passage 21 and the air lead-out passage, it is not necessary to form a separate passage, and the cost can be reduced. Can do.

In the present embodiment, the first panel constituent member 25 and the second panel constituent member 27 are vibration welded. However, the first panel constituent member 25 and the second panel constituent member 27 may be welded by high frequency or a hot plate, and are not limited to these welding methods.

Further, in the present embodiment, the protruding rib 29 is protruded from the first panel component member 25. However, instead of protruding from the first panel component member 25, it may be provided at the second panel component member 27. You may project in both the panel structural member 25 and the 2nd panel structural member 27. FIG. Furthermore, although the four projecting ribs 29 project at substantially equal intervals, the interval at which the projecting ribs 29 project and the number of projecting ribs 29 are not limited thereto.

In the present embodiment, the air led out to the air lead-out passage is returned to the air conditioner, but may be discharged out of the vehicle interior or the vehicle interior.

Further, in the present embodiment, the protruding rib 29 is provided so as to extend in the vehicle width direction, but may be provided so as to extend in the vertical direction of the vehicle body 3. In this case, the air introduction passage 21 and the air lead-out passage are provided on the roof 5 side and the trunk lid 9 side of the opening 11 of the vehicle body 3.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the form applied to the rear window of a sedan type vehicle is shown, but the present invention may be applied to a rear window provided on a hatchback door that opens and closes a rear gate of a hatchback type vehicle. In this case, the vehicle body of the present invention refers to a hatchback door.

The present invention is useful for a rear window structure of an automobile.
