Abstract
【解決手段】 オイル流入口21を有する樹脂製の下側分割体20とオイル流出口11を有する樹脂製の上側分割体10とを備え、これら両分割体の衝合部にフィルタFを介装した状態で、前記衝合部を接合して両分割体を一体に組み立てるようにした車両用オイルストレーナS1であって、上側分割体に、エンジンのバランサシャフトJbの下方を覆うカバー部15が一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする。

Description
かかるオイルストレーナは、エンジンのシリンダブロックとその下方に位置するエンジンオイルパンとの間に配置され、オイルパンに貯えられたオイルがエンジン側へ供給される際に、このオイルを濾過するものとして用いられる。
このようなバランサシャフトをエンジンに付設することで、エンジン重量は増加するものの、エンジンでの発生振動を有効に抑制できるので、車両走行中の快適性が特に重視される車種では幅広く採用されている。
図1は本発明の実施形態に係る車両用オイルストレーナの全体斜視図、図2は前記オイルストレーナの分解斜視図、また、図3及び図4は、図1におけるY3−Y3線およびY4−Y4線にそれぞれ沿ったオイルストレーナの縦断面説明図である。
このように、樹脂製オイルストレーナS1の上側分割体10に、エンジンのバランサシャフトJbの下方を覆うカバー部15を一体的に形成したことにより、バランサシャフトJbの近辺に位置する樹脂製オイルストレーナS1を利用して当該バランサシャフトJbのカバー体の一部を設けることができ、部品点数および組付工数の削減のみならず、カバー体の軽量化を図ることができる。
尚、以下の説明において、図1から図5に示した実施形態における場合と同様の構成を備え同様の作用をなすものについては、同一の符号を付し、それ以上の説明は省略する。
図6及び図7は第1変形例に係る車両用オイルストレーナS2を説明するもので、図6は前記図3に相当する縦断面説明図、また、図7は前記図4に相当する縦断面説明図である。
尚、図1から図5に示した実施形態、並びに図6及び図7に示した第1変形例での接合は、振動溶着法で行うことも可能である。
この第2変形例のストレーナS3では、カバー部65は、上側分割体50からではなく下側分割体60から延長して形成されている。より詳しく説明すれば、下側分割体60の衝合フランジ部62には、その外縁部から衝合方向へ立ち上がる延長基部66が形成されている。この延長基部66は、上側分割体50の衝合フランジ部52の外縁に沿うようにして、やや外側に傾斜しながら立ち上がっており、この延長基部66の上部から外側に大きく張り出すようにしてカバー部65が形成されている。

Claims (4)
- オイル流入部を有する樹脂製の第1分割体とオイル流出部を有する樹脂製の第2分割体とを備え、これら両分割体の衝合部にフィルタを介装した状態で、前記衝合部を接合して前記両分割体を一体に組み立てるようにした車両用オイルストレーナであって、
前記第1,第2分割体の何れか一方に、エンジンのバランサシャフトの一部を覆うカバー体が一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする車両用オイルストレーナ。 - 前記カバー体を形成した一方の分割体は、前記バランサシャフトの残り部分を覆う残りのカバー体と組み立てられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用オイルストレーナ。
- 前記カバー体は、前記一方の分割体の衝合部に設けた衝合フランジ部を外側に延長して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用オイルストレーナ。
- 前記第1,第2分割体は熱板溶着法で接合されるものであり、前記カバー体の前記衝合フランジ部からの延長基部は、前記衝合フランジ部から衝合方向と略反対方向へ立ち上がるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両用オイルストレーナ。
