Description

The present invention relates to an under cover attached to the lower surface of a vehicle such as an automobile.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an under cover that covers the lower surface of a vehicle is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this technology, an under cover is arranged under the floor of the engine room or the like in the vehicle, thereby improving the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle and blocking or reducing the intrusion of noise outside the vehicle into the room. Noise is prevented from leaking outside the vehicle.
JP 2000-128027 A

However, in the under cover of Patent Document 1, the attachment surface of the uneven portion formed on the under cover from the lower surface portion toward the upper surface portion is fixed to the bumper cart from the vehicle lower side by a bolt and a clip with a nut. For this reason, a part of the air flow that flows from the vehicle front side toward the vehicle rear side along the lower surface of the undercover flows inwardly of the concavo-convex portion and generates a vortex. As a result, the air resistance of the lower surface portion of the undercover increases, and the aerodynamic performance is not sufficiently improved.

In view of the above facts, an object of the present invention is to provide an undercover capable of improving aerodynamic performance.

The undercover of the present invention according to claim 1 is an undercover main body attached to the lower surface of the vehicle, a recess formed on the lower surface of the undercover main body with an opening facing downward of the vehicle, and the undercover main body An air flow recess intrusion suppression inclined surface that is provided on the vehicle front side of the recess and is inclined toward the vehicle lower side toward the front portion of the opening.

The airflow that flows from the front of the vehicle toward the rear of the vehicle along the lower surface of the undercover body that is attached to the lower surface of the vehicle while the vehicle is running is in a recess provided in the lower surface of the undercover body with the opening facing the vehicle downward. By flowing along the air flow recess intrusion suppression inclined surface formed on the vehicle front side and inclined toward the vehicle lower side toward the front of the opening, the opening of the recess is jumped. For this reason, it can suppress that the airflow from the vehicle front side enters into a recessed part, and generate | occur | produces a vortex | eddy_current.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the undercover according to the first aspect of the present invention, the under cover has an extended inclined portion that is formed on the vehicle rear side of the concave portion and that lengthens the longitudinal length of the opening.

When the air flow from the front side of the vehicle jumps over the opening of the recess, a part of the air flow may hit the vehicle rear side of the recess. At this time, the air flow hits an extended inclined portion formed on the vehicle rear side of the recess and lengthens the longitudinal length of the opening, and is guided along the extended inclined portion to the lower surface side of the undercover body. For this reason, it can suppress that the airflow from the vehicle front side enters into a recessed part, and generate | occur | produces a vortex | eddy_current.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the undercover according to the first or second aspect, the air flow recess intrusion suppression inclined surface extends in the vehicle width direction from the front side of the vehicle toward the recess. Features.

Since the inclined surface that suppresses the intrusion of the air flow recess extends from the front side of the vehicle toward the recess in the vehicle width direction, the air flow spreads in the vehicle width direction, and a part of the air flow is difficult to flow into the recess. Can be suppressed.

The undercover of the present invention according to claim 1 can improve aerodynamic performance.

The undercover of the present invention according to claim 2 can further improve the aerodynamic performance.

The undercover of the present invention according to claim 3 can further improve the aerodynamic performance.

An embodiment of an undercover according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

In the figure, the arrow FR indicates the vehicle front direction, the arrow UP indicates the vehicle upward direction, and the arrow IN indicates the vehicle width inside direction.

As shown in FIG. 4, in this embodiment, an engine under cover 12, a front fender liner 13, a rear engine under cover 14, a front floor center cover 16, and a front floor cover are arranged on the vehicle lower surface 10 </ b> A of the automobile 10 from the front side of the vehicle. 18, a side mud guard 20, a floor panel side plate 22, a floor under cover 24, and the like are attached, and the air resistance of the vehicle lower surface 10A received from the air flow (arrow W1 in FIG. 4) flowing along the vehicle lower surface 10A when the vehicle travels. Is reduced.

The front floor cover 18 is disposed on the vehicle rear side of the front tire 26 along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The front floor cover 18 includes a front under cover 30 serving as an under cover body that constitutes a front portion of the front floor cover 18. And a rear under cover 32 constituting a rear portion of the front floor cover 18.

As shown in FIG. 3, the front under cover 30 is made of a resin material and has a dish shape.

More specifically, a peripheral wall portion 30B is formed on the peripheral portion of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 toward the upper side of the vehicle. Further, a plurality of reinforcing vertical ribs 36 are formed along the vehicle front-rear direction on the upper surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 in the vehicle mounting state, and the reinforcing horizontal ribs along the vehicle width direction. A plurality of ribs 38 are formed, and the vertical ribs 36 and the horizontal ribs 38 intersect each other.

A drainage portion 40 is formed in each portion of the bottom plate portion 30 </ b> A of the front under cover 30 that is divided by the vertical ribs 36 and the horizontal ribs 38. The drainage portion 40 is recessed downward in the vehicle, and a drainage hole (not shown) is formed in the rear end portion 40A.

As shown in FIG. 2, a recess 44 for attaching the front under cover 30 to the vehicle is formed on the vehicle width direction outer side portion of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 in the vehicle longitudinal direction intermediate portion. Further, the recess 44 is formed at the intersection of the vertical rib 36 and the horizontal rib 38 so that the rigidity of the portion of the front under cover 30 where the recess 44 is formed can be suppressed.

As shown in FIG. 1, the concave portion 44 is formed on the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 in the vehicle mounting state with the opening 44A facing the vehicle downward. Further, the recess 44 has a truncated cone shape, and the upper wall portion 44B serves as a mounting portion of the front under cover 30 to the vehicle.

As shown in FIG. 2, the upper wall portion 44B of the recess 44 is circular when viewed from above the vehicle, and a circular mounting hole 48 is formed in the center.

As shown in FIG. 1, stud bolts 52 are erected on the lower surface 50 </ b> A of the floor panel 50 as the lower surface of the vehicle to which the upper wall portion 44 </ b> B of the recess 44 in the front under cover 30 is attached.

On the other hand, a clip 56 for fixing the front under cover 30 to the vehicle is fixed to an attachment hole 48 formed in the upper wall portion 44B of the recess 44 of the front under cover 30. The clip 56 is a well-known two-divided type having a ring-shaped spacer portion 58 and a cylindrical clip portion 60. The spacer portion 58 is inserted into the mounting hole 48 from above the vehicle, and the clip portion 60 is located below the vehicle. Then, the spacer portion 58 and the clip portion 60 are engaged with each other by an engaging portion (not shown). Further, the clip 56 is held by the upper wall portion 44 </ b> B of the recess 44 by sandwiching the peripheral portion of the mounting hole 48 between the spacer portion 58 and the clip portion 60.

Therefore, when the front under cover 30 is attached to the vehicle, the stud bolt 52 erected on the floor panel 50 is inserted into the clip portion 60 of the clip 56 held by the upper wall portion 44B of the recess 44. A latching claw (not shown) formed on the inner peripheral portion of the clip portion 60 engages with the stud bolt 52 to hold the front under cover 30 in the mounting position.

An inclined surface 64 is formed on the vehicle front side of the recess 44 in the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 as an air flow recess intrusion suppression inclined surface, and the inclined surface 64 is an opening from the vehicle front side to the vehicle rear side. It inclines toward the vehicle lower side toward the front end edge 44C of the portion 44A.

More specifically, the inclined surface 64 is inclined from the front end portion 64A toward the lowermost portion 64B toward the vehicle rear upper side toward the vehicle rear lower side, and the opening 44A is formed on the vehicle rear side of the lowermost portion 64B. A curved surface 66 that is continuous with the front end edge portion 44C is formed. The vertical difference between the front end portion 64A of the inclined surface 64 and the lowermost portion 64B is H1, the front-rear length from the front end portion 64A of the inclined surface 64 to the rear end of the curved surface 66 is L1, and the front-rear length of the opening 44A is L2. It has become.

In this embodiment, H1 = 3 mm, L2 = 40 mm to 50 mm, and L1 = 40 mm.

Accordingly, the air flow (arrow W1 in FIG. 1) that flows from the front of the vehicle toward the rear of the vehicle along the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front undercover 30 during traveling of the vehicle is an inclination formed on the front side of the recess 44 in the vehicle. The vehicle flows along the surface 64 toward the vehicle obliquely downward. For this reason, the air flow W1 jumps over the recessed portion 44 and approaches the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A again behind the recessed portion 44. As a result, it is possible to suppress an increase in air resistance due to the air flow W1 from the front side of the vehicle entering the recess 44 and generating a vortex.

As shown in FIG. 2, the inclined surface 64 extends from the front end portion 64A on a straight line extending in the vehicle front-rear direction through the center of the recess 44 to the front half of the opening portion 44A. Is formed in a crescent shape that extends in the vehicle width direction from the vehicle rear side. Therefore, the air flow W1 spreads in the vehicle width direction, and a part of the air flow W1 hardly flows into the recess 44, and the increase in air resistance can be suppressed.

As shown in FIG. 1, an extended inclined portion 70 is formed on the bottom plate portion 30 </ b> A of the front under cover 30 on the vehicle rear portion side of the recess 44 to increase the front / rear length L <b> 2 of the opening 44 </ b> A.

More specifically, the extended inclined portion 70 is inclined from the upper front side of the vehicle toward the lower rear side of the vehicle from the front end portion 70A toward the rear end portion 70B, and the inclination angle θ1 is the inclination angle θ2 of the inclined surface 64. It is larger (θ1> θ2). Further, the rear end portion 70B of the extended inclined portion 70 is a rear end edge portion 44D of the opening 44A, and the longitudinal length from the front end portion 70A to the rear end portion 70B of the extended inclined portion 70 is L3.

Accordingly, when a part of the air flow (arrow W2 in FIG. 1) flowing from the front of the vehicle toward the rear of the vehicle along the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 does not jump over the recess 44 during traveling of the vehicle, The air flow W <b> 2 hitting the extended inclined portion 70 is guided to the lower surface side of the bottom plate portion 30 </ b> A of the front under cover 30 by the extended inclined portion 70. For this reason, it can suppress that the air flow W2 from the vehicle front side enters into the recessed part 44, generates a vortex | eddy_current, and increases air resistance.

As shown in FIG. 2, the extended inclined portion 70 is a vehicle as viewed from the vehicle vertical direction between the rear end portion 70 </ b> B that is on a straight line that extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction through the center of the recess 44 and the rear half of the opening portion 44 </ b> A. It is formed in a crescent shape that extends in the vehicle width direction from the rear side toward the vehicle front side.

Reference numerals 80 and 82 in FIGS. 2 and 3 indicate recesses for attaching the front under cover 30 to the vehicle.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.

In the present embodiment, an air flow (arrow W1 in FIG. 1) that flows from the front of the vehicle toward the rear of the vehicle along the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 during vehicle traveling is formed on the front side of the recess 44. The vehicle flows along the inclined surface 64 toward the vehicle rear lower side. For this reason, the air flow W1 jumps over the concave portion 44, and again approaches the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A behind the concave portion 44. As a result, it is possible to suppress an increase in air resistance due to the air flow W1 from the front side of the vehicle entering the recess 44 and generating a vortex, and the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle can be improved.

Further, in this embodiment, the inclined surface 64 extends from the front end portion 64A on the straight line extending in the vehicle front-rear direction through the center of the recess 44 to the front half of the opening portion 44A. Is formed in a crescent shape that extends in the vehicle width direction from the vehicle rear side. For this reason, the air flow W1 spreads in the vehicle width direction, and a part of the air flow W1 hardly flows into the recess 44, and it is possible to suppress an increase in air resistance. As a result, the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle can be further improved.

Further, in the present embodiment, a part of the air flow (arrow W2 in FIG. 1) flowing from the front of the vehicle toward the rear of the vehicle along the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 jumps over the recess 44 during traveling of the vehicle. If not, the air flow W <b> 2 hitting the extended inclined portion 70 is guided to the lower surface side of the bottom plate portion 30 </ b> A of the front undercover 30 by the extended inclined portion 70. For this reason, it can suppress that the air flow W2 from the vehicle front side enters in the recessed part 44, generates a vortex | eddy_current, and increases air resistance. As a result, the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle can be further improved.

Further, in the present embodiment, the attachment portion of the front under cover 30 to the vehicle is provided on the upper wall portion 44B of the recess 44 formed in the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 30A of the front under cover 30 with the opening portion facing downward in the vehicle. Further, it is possible to suppress an increase in air resistance generated at the attachment portion of the front under cover 30 to the vehicle.

In the above embodiment, H1 = 3 mm, L2 = 40 mm to 50 mm, and L1 = 40 mm. However, for example, the length L2 of the opening 44A of the recess 44 is increased by increasing the size of the clip 56 (for example, L2 = 50 mm to 65 mm), the front and rear length L1 from the front end portion 64A of the inclined surface 64 to the rear end of the curved surface 66 is shortened (for example, L1 = 20 mm), thereby increasing H1 (= 3 mm). Without increasing the inclination angle θ1. For this reason, the airflow (arrow W1 in FIG. 1) can completely jump over the recess 44, and the aerodynamic performance can be improved even when the opening 44A of the recess 44 is enlarged.

In the above, the present invention has been described in detail with respect to specific embodiments. However, the shape of the inclined surface 64 viewed from the vehicle vertical direction is not limited to the crescent shape, and the air flow extends in the vehicle width direction and a part thereof. However, other shapes such as a triangular shape may be used as long as it is difficult to flow into the recess 44.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the inclined surface 64 was formed in a part of bottom-plate part 30A of the front under cover 30, it replaces with this and the inclined surface 64 is comprised by the front under cover 30 and another member, and a front under cover is formed. It is good also as a structure attached to the lower surface of 30 A of baseplate parts 30A.

Further, in the above embodiment, the vehicle is viewed from the vehicle up-down direction between the rear end portion 70B that is on the straight line extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction through the center of the recess 44 and the extended inclined portion 70 from the rear half of the opening 44A. The crescent shape is widened in the vehicle width direction from the rear side toward the vehicle front side. However, the shape of the extended inclined portion 70 viewed from the vehicle vertical direction is not limited to the crescent shape, and may be a shape that can reduce air resistance. For example, other shapes such as a triangle shape may be used.
