Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a laminate for surface coating of an optical article. More specifically, it has excellent curability and various substrates such as polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, epoxy resin, melamine resin, triacetyl cellulose resin, ABS resin, AS resin, norbornene resin. The present invention relates to a laminate comprising a cured film layer formed by curing a curable composition capable of forming a coating film (film) having excellent hardness, scratch resistance and transparency on the same surface.
In recent years, it has excellent coating properties as a protective coating material for preventing scratches (scratching) on various substrate surfaces and preventing contamination; adhesives and sealing materials for various substrates; and a binder material for printing inks. Hardness, flexibility, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, low curl (meaning that the cured film has low warpage), adhesion, transparency, chemical resistance, and coating surface appearance on the surface of various substrates There is a demand for a curable composition capable of forming an excellent cured film in any of the above (
In addition to the above requirements, curable compositions capable of forming a cured film having a high refractive index are required in addition to the above requirements in applications of antireflection films such as film-type liquid crystal elements, touch panels, and plastic optical components.
For example, in the case of a laminate in which a hard coat layer mainly composed of an acrylic resin is provided on a TAC film (refractive index of 1.49 at 589 nm) that is generally used as a base material, Since the refractive indexes are different, there are interference fringes caused by the optical path difference between the light reflected on the film surface and the light reflected on the back surface of the film, and there is a problem that the interference fringes appear more clearly as the transparency of the film is higher. The degree of interference fringes is evaluated using the amplitude of the wavy profile (referred to as “interference unevenness” in this specification) of the reflectance profile of the laminate (a plot of the reflectance with respect to the measurement wavelength) as an index. be able to.
It has also been pointed out that it is necessary to improve the adhesion between the base material layer and the hard coat layer. Therefore, in the case of a polyester resin often used together with TAC as a base material, an easily adhesive film for optics has been proposed for the purpose of reducing interference fringes and improving adhesion (Patent Documents 3 and 4).
In the case of using a TAC base material, for the purpose of reducing interference fringes, an antireflection layer whose refractive index continuously changes in the film thickness direction is provided on the base material. Although the boundary surface clearly exists, a technique in which the refractive index of the antireflection layer at the boundary surface is set higher than the refractive index of the base material layer is also disclosed (Patent Document 5).
However, when a hard coat layer is provided on a base material, it is not satisfactory from the viewpoint of interference fringes, hardness, and adhesion between the base material and the hard coat layer.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and has a high hardness, few interference fringes, a hard coat film excellent in adhesion between the substrate and the hard coat layer, and excellent chemical resistance. It aims at providing the laminated body for surface coatings of an optical article.

More preferably, the low refractive index layer is a cured product of a curable resin composition containing a curable fluorinated polymer.
I.積層体
I. Laminate The most basic configuration of the laminate of the present invention is shown in FIG. The
In the
The presence of the component (B) that has penetrated into the substrate 10 can be evaluated by the following method. A hard coat layer is formed on the substrate by the same operation as usual. However, the irradiation amount at that time is set to about 1/2 to 1/4 of the normal amount so that unreacted ethylenically unsaturated groups remain. A section is cut out in the same manner as observing a cross section of the base material on which the hard coat layer is formed with a transmission electron microscope, and the section and osmium tetroxide are put in a sealed container and left to stand overnight (16 hours). . This operation adds osmium tetroxide to the ethylenically unsaturated group. By observing the osmium in this section with an analytical electron microscope (TEM / AEM), the component (B) is incorporated into the base material near the boundary surface. It can be used as an alternative index indicating the presence of the derived ethylenically unsaturated group.
The fact that the refractive index of the base material 10 changes substantially continuously in the thickness direction of the base material 10 means that the refractive index of the base material 10 continuously changes in the vicinity of the boundary surface. It is a concept that includes one of the main effects of the present invention, that is, a stepwise change in refractive index that does not affect the reduction of interference fringes. This is also because the change in refractive index in the vicinity of the boundary surface is continuous in this case.
Further, “substantially continuously” does not prevent the refractive index at the boundary surface (contact surface) between the base material 10 and the HC cured film layer 12 from being discontinuous in the
Since the

As an application example of the laminate of the present invention, for example, as a hard coat film for various display panels such as CRT, liquid crystal display panel, plasma display panel, electroluminescence display panel, etc., as an antireflection film with a hard coat function Examples thereof include use as an antireflection film with an antistatic function.
Next, the configuration of each layer when the laminate of the present invention is used as an antireflection film having a hard coat function will be described with reference to FIGS. 2A to 2E. The HC cured film layer is used as a layer having various functions by changing the physical properties such as the refractive index by selecting the component (A). For example, the HC cured film layer can be used as a high refractive index layer, a medium refractive index layer, or an antistatic layer that forms an antireflection layer. In the present specification, the “antireflection layer” refers to a layer for imparting an antireflection function. Typically, a combination of a low refractive index layer and a high refractive index layer, or a low refractive index layer, a high refractive index layer, The refractive index layer and the medium refractive index layer are combined in this order. For example, a low refractive index layer having a lower refractive index than that of the HC cured film layer is provided on the opposite side of the substrate in contact with the HC cured film layer. The low refractive index layer in some cases is also included.
When providing an optical article with an antireflection function, a method of forming a low refractive index layer or a multilayer structure of a low refractive index layer and a high refractive index layer is formed on a substrate or a substrate that has been hard-coated. It is known that this method is effective.
FIG. 2A shows a first embodiment when the laminate of the present invention is used as an antireflection film with a hard coat function. The
As another form, the HC cured film layer 12 of the
FIG. 2C shows a second embodiment in which the laminate of the present invention is used as an antireflection film with a hard coat function. In the second form, the
FIG. 2D shows a third embodiment when the laminate of the present invention is used as an antireflection film with a hard coat function. In the third embodiment, the
In the third embodiment, it is also possible to provide an antistatic layer separately. The antistatic layer 11 can be provided between the HC cured film layer 12 and the medium refractive index layer 14. This configuration is shown in FIG. 2E.
A layer and a substrate other than the HC cured film layer provided in each form of the antireflection film with a hard coat function will be described.
(2) Low refractive index layer By providing a low refractive index layer as the outermost layer (layer farthest from the substrate) of the laminate of the present invention, the laminate of the present invention can have an antireflection function.
The low refractive index layer is a layer whose refractive index is lower than any of the high refractive index layer, the middle refractive index layer, and the HC cured film layer. Therefore, the low refractive index layer has a refractive index lower than that of the HC cured film layer, even when the HC cured film layer is used as a layer having any function. The refractive index of the low refractive index layer is usually 1.30 to 1.50. The low refractive index layer is usually a thin film having a thickness of 0.05 to 0.5 μm. The HC cured film layer is not used as the low refractive index layer.
The material used for the low refractive index layer is not particularly limited as long as the desired properties are obtained. For example, a curable composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer, an acrylic monomer, and a fluorine-containing acrylic monomer And cured products such as epoxy group-containing compounds and fluorine-containing epoxy group-containing compounds. Moreover, in order to raise the intensity | strength of a low refractive index layer, a silica fine particle etc. can also be mix | blended.
In a preferred embodiment in which the laminate of the present invention is used as an antireflection film, the low refractive index layer is formed using a curable resin composition containing a curable fluorinated polymer (G) described later.
The curable resin composition used for the low refractive index layer will be described in detail later.
(3) High Refractive Index Layer By further providing a high refractive index layer in contact with the substrate side of the low refractive index layer in the laminate of the present invention, the antireflection effect of the laminate of the present invention can be further enhanced. it can.
The high refractive index layer is a layer whose refractive index is higher than any of the low refractive index layer and the middle refractive index layer. Therefore, the high refractive index layer has a higher refractive index than the HC cured film layer even when the HC cured film layer is used as a layer having any function other than the high refractive index layer. The refractive index of the high refractive index layer is usually 1.55 to 2.20. The thickness of the high refractive index layer is usually a thin film of 0.05 to 0.5 μm, but it may be a thick film of 0.5 to 50 μm when it also functions as a hard coat layer.
In order to form a high refractive index layer, high refractive index inorganic particles, for example, metal oxide particles can be blended. The HC cured film layer can also be used as a high refractive index layer having a hard coat function.

(C) Although the said polyether diol is preferable as a polyol compound, polyester diol, polycarbonate diol, polycaprolactone diol, etc. can also be used besides this, These diols can also be used together with polyether diol. The polymerization mode of these structural units is not particularly limited, and may be any of random polymerization, block polymerization, and graft polymerization.
Examples of polycarbonate diols are those conventionally produced by alcoholysis of diethylene carbonate with diol. The diol may be an alkylene diol having 2 to 12 carbon atoms such as 1,4-butanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, 1,12-dodecanediol, and the like. Mixtures of these diols can also be used. The polycarbonate diol can contain an ether bond in the main chain in addition to the carbonate group. Therefore, for example, a polycarbonate copolymer of an alkylene oxide monomer and the aforementioned alkylene diol can be used. Examples of the alkylene oxide monomer include ethylene oxide and tetrahydrofuran. The compounding (containing) amount of the compound (A) having a urethane bond used in the present invention is 60 to 94% by mass with the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) as 100% by mass. It is preferably 70 to 90% by mass. If it is less than 60% by mass or more than 94% by mass, a cured product may not be obtained with a high hardness, and the adhesion of the coating film may be lowered.
2. (B) Ethylenically unsaturated group-containing compound having a molecular weight of 290 or less The component (B) used in the present invention is an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing compound having a molecular weight of 290 or less. Since the component (B) has a small molecular weight, it tends to penetrate to some extent into a substrate such as TAC before curing. For this reason, it penetrates into the inside of the base material from the boundary (contact surface) between the base material and the hard coat layer, and is cured in a state where a continuous concentration gradient of the component (B) is formed in the thickness direction of the base material. A substantially continuous refractive index gradient is formed between the substrate and the hard coat layer, including the boundary between the material and the hard coat layer. As a result, the interference fringes of the laminate having the hard coat layer on the substrate are reduced.
The component (B) is not limited as long as it is an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing compound having a molecular weight of 290 or less. The blending amount (addition amount) of the component (B) used in the present invention is usually 5 to 35% by mass, with the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) being 100% by mass, The amount is preferably less than ˜25% by mass, and more preferably less than 10% to 20% by mass. If the compounding quantity of (B) component is 5 mass% or more, the interference fringe of the laminated body which has a hard-coat layer on a base material can be suppressed effectively. Moreover, if the compounding quantity of (B) component is 35 mass% or less, the hard-coat film | membrane which has high hardness will be obtained. On the other hand, if the blending amount of the component (B) exceeds 35% by weight, the transparency of the cured film may be lowered.

(3) Reactive particles (F)
The organic compound (Fb) having a silanol group or a group that generates a silanol group by hydrolysis is mixed with the metal oxide particles (Fa), hydrolyzed, and bonded together. The ratio of the organic polymer component in the resulting reactive particles (F), that is, the hydrolyzate and condensate of hydrolyzable silane, is usually the mass loss% when the dry powder is completely burned in air. The constant value of can be determined, for example, by thermal mass spectrometry from room temperature to usually 800 ° C. in air.
The amount of the organic compound (Fb) bound to the oxide particles (Fa) is preferably 100% by mass of the reactive particles (F) (the total of the metal oxide particles (Fa) and the organic compound (Fb)), It is 0.01 mass% or more, More preferably, it is 0.1 mass% or more, Most preferably, it is 1 mass% or more. When the amount of the organic compound (Fb) bonded to the metal oxide particles (Fa) is less than 0.01% by mass, the dispersibility of the reactive particles (F) in the composition is not sufficient, and the resulting cured product The transparency and scratch resistance of the object may not be sufficient. Moreover, the compounding ratio of the metal oxide particles (Fa) in the raw material during the production of the reactive particles (F) is preferably 5 to 99% by mass, and more preferably 10 to 98% by mass.

If it is less than 30% by mass, the hardness of the cured film may be insufficient or a high refractive index may not be obtained. If it exceeds 80% by mass, the film formability may be insufficient. In this case, the content of the oxide particles (Fa) constituting the reactive particles (A) is preferably 65 to 95% by mass of the reactive particles (F). Among these, hexafluoropropylene and perfluoro (alkyl vinyl ether) or perfluoro (alkoxyalkyl vinyl ether) are more preferable, and a combination of these is more preferable.
In addition, the content rate of a structural unit (a) is 20-70 mol% when the whole quantity of a hydroxyl-containing fluoropolymer is 100 mol%. The reason for this is that when the content is less than 20 mol%, it is sometimes difficult to develop a low refractive index, which is the characteristic of the optically fluorine-containing material as intended by the present application. If the ratio exceeds 70 mol%, the solubility of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer in the organic solvent, transparency, or adhesion to the substrate may be lowered.
For these reasons, the content of the structural unit (a) is more preferably 25 to 65 mol%, and more preferably 30 to 60 mol%, based on the total amount of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer. Is more preferable.

The structural unit (c) can be introduced by using a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl monomer as a polymerization component. Examples of such hydroxyl group-containing vinyl monomers include 2-hydroxyethyl vinyl ether, 3-hydroxypropyl vinyl ether, 2-hydroxypropyl vinyl ether, 4-hydroxybutyl vinyl ether, 3-hydroxybutyl vinyl ether, 5-hydroxypentyl vinyl ether, Examples include hydroxyl group-containing vinyl ethers such as 6-hydroxyhexyl vinyl ether, hydroxyl group-containing allyl ethers such as 2-hydroxyethyl allyl ether, 4-hydroxybutyl allyl ether, and glycerol monoallyl ether, allyl alcohol, and the like.
In addition to the above, the hydroxyl group-containing vinyl monomer includes 2-hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate, 2-hydroxybutyl (meth) acrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl (meth) acrylate, caprolactone (meth) acrylate, and polypropylene. Glycol (meth) acrylate or the like can be used.
In addition, it is preferable that the content rate of a structural unit (c) shall be 5-70 mol% when the whole quantity of a hydroxyl-containing fluoropolymer is 100 mol%. This is because when the content is less than 5 mol%, the solubility of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer in the organic solvent may be reduced, whereas when the content exceeds 70 mol%, the hydroxyl group This is because optical properties such as transparency and low reflectivity of the fluorinated polymer may be deteriorated.
For such reasons, the content of the structural unit (c) is more preferably 5 to 40 mol%, and more preferably 5 to 30 mol%, based on the total amount of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer. Is more preferable.
(Iv) Structural unit (d) and structural unit (e)
The hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer preferably further comprises the following structural unit (d).
In the formula (12), the alkyl group of R 18 or R 19 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms such as a methyl group, an ethyl group or a propyl group, and the halogenated alkyl group is a trifluoromethyl group or perfluoro group. C1-C4 fluoroalkyl groups, such as an ethyl group, a perfluoropropyl group, a perfluorobutyl group, etc., A phenyl group, a benzyl group, a naphthyl group etc. are each mentioned as an aryl group.
The structural unit (d) can be introduced by using an azo group-containing polysiloxane compound having a polysiloxane segment represented by the formula (12). Examples of such azo group-containing polysiloxane compounds include compounds represented by the following formula (13).
When the compound represented by the formula (13) is used, the structural unit (d) is included in the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer as a part of the structural unit (e).
In the formulas (13) and (14), examples of the alkyl group of R 28 to R 31 include alkyl groups having 1 to 12 carbon atoms such as a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, a hexyl group, and a cyclohexyl group. Examples of the alkyl group of 32 to R 35 include an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms such as a methyl group, an ethyl group, and a propyl group.
In the present invention, the azo group-containing polysiloxane compound represented by the above formula (13) is particularly preferably a compound represented by the following formula (15).
In addition, it is preferable that the content rate of a structural unit (d) shall be 0.1-10 mol% when the whole quantity of a hydroxyl-containing fluoropolymer is 100 mol%. The reason for this is that when the content is less than 0.1 mol%, the surface slipperiness of the coated film after curing is lowered, and the scratch resistance of the coated film may be lowered. If it exceeds 10 mol%, the transparency of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer is inferior, and when used as a coating material, repelling or the like may occur easily during coating.
For these reasons, the content of the structural unit (d) is more preferably 0.1 to 5 mol% with respect to the total amount of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer, More preferably, it is mol%. For the same reason, the content of the structural unit (e) is desirably determined so that the content of the structural unit (d) contained therein is in the above range.
(V) Structural unit (f)
It is also preferred that the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer further comprises the following structural unit (f).
In the formula (16), the group having an emulsifying action of R 26 includes a group having both a hydrophobic group and a hydrophilic group, and the hydrophilic group having a polyether structure such as polyethylene oxide and polypropylene oxide. preferable.
The structural unit (f) can be introduced by using a reactive emulsifier as a polymerization component. Examples of such reactive emulsifiers include compounds represented by the following formula (18).
In addition, when the whole quantity of a hydroxyl-containing fluoropolymer is 100 mol%, it is preferable that the content rate of a structural unit (f) shall be 0.1-5 mol%. The reason for this is that when the content is 0.1 mol% or more, the solubility of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer in the solvent is improved. On the other hand, if the content is within 5 mol%, a low refractive index layer is formed. This is because the adhesiveness of the composition does not increase excessively, the handling becomes easy, and the moisture resistance does not decrease even when used for a coating material or the like.
For such reasons, the content of the structural unit (f) is more preferably 0.1 to 3 mol% based on the total amount of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer, and 0.2 to 3 More preferably, it is mol%.
(Vi) Molecular Weight The hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer preferably has a polystyrene-equivalent number average molecular weight of 5,000 to 500,000 measured by gel permeation chromatography using tetrahydrofuran as a solvent. The reason for this is that when the number average molecular weight is less than 5,000, the mechanical strength of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer may be lowered. On the other hand, when the number average molecular weight exceeds 500,000, it will be described later. This is because the viscosity of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer becomes high and thin film coating may be difficult.
For these reasons, the number average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer is more preferably 10,000 to 300,000, and even more preferably 10,000 to 100,000.
(2) Compound containing one isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group As a compound containing one isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, The compound is not particularly limited as long as it is a compound containing one isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group.
In addition, when two or more isocyanate groups are contained, there is a possibility of causing gelation when reacting with a hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer.
Moreover, since the composition for low-refractive-index layer formation mentioned later can be hardened more easily as said ethylenically unsaturated group, the compound which has a (meth) acryloyl group is more preferable.
As such a compound, 2- (meth) acryloyloxyethyl isocyanate and 2- (meth) acryloyloxypropyl isocyanate may be used singly or in combination of two or more.
Such a compound can also be synthesized by reacting diisocyanate and a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate.
As examples of diisocyanates, 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, xylylene diisocyanate, methylene bis (4-cyclohexylisocyanate), and 1,3-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane are preferred.
As examples of the hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate and pentaerythritol tri (meth) acrylate are preferable.
In addition, as a commercial item of a hydroxyl-containing polyfunctional (meth) acrylate, for example, Osaka Organic Chemical Co., Ltd. product name HEA, Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd. product name KAYARAD DPHA, PET-30, Toagosei Co., Ltd. Product name Aronix M-215, M-233, M-305, M-400, etc. can be obtained.
(3) Reaction of a hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer with a compound containing one isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group The ethylenically unsaturated group-containing fluoropolymer is It is obtained by reacting a compound containing an isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group with a hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer. The compound containing one isocyanate group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group and the hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing polymer react at a molar ratio of isocyanate group / hydroxyl group of 1.1 to 1.9. It is preferable to do so. The reason for this is that when the molar ratio is less than 1.1, the scratch resistance and the durability may be lowered. On the other hand, when the molar ratio exceeds 1.9, This is because the scratch resistance of the coating film after immersion in an alkaline aqueous solution may be reduced.
For this reason, the molar ratio of isocyanate group / hydroxyl group is preferably 1.1 to 1.5, and more preferably 1.2 to 1.5.
(4) Reaction of hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer with acrylic acid or halogen salt of acrylic acid Ethylenically unsaturated group-containing fluoropolymer is prepared by dissolving the above-mentioned hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer in an organic solvent, It can also be produced by reacting with acrylic acid or a halogen salt of acrylic acid in the presence of a functional compound.
Specifically, the hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing polymer is dissolved in an organic solvent to obtain a solution of the hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing copolymer having a concentration of 5% by mass or more (step (1)). A solution of a hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing copolymer and acrylic acid or a halogen salt of acrylic acid are mixed in the presence of a basic compound to synthesize the aforementioned ethylenically unsaturated group-containing fluorine-containing polymer (step) (2)).
工程(1):
Hereinafter, each step will be described.
Step (1):
The organic solvent (hereinafter referred to as “organic solvent 1”) used in the step (1) has a property that does not affect the reaction of the hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing copolymer with acrylic acid and a halide of acrylic acid. Although not particularly limited, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), methyl amyl ketone, acetone, butyl acetate, and ethyl acetate are preferable. These
The concentration of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer in the solution is preferably 5% by mass or more. The reason is that if it is less than 5% by mass, the reactivity with acrylic acid or the like is lowered in the step (2) described later. The upper limit of the concentration is naturally determined by the solubility of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer, but is usually about 30% by mass.
工程(2):
Step (2):
This is a step of reacting a hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer with acrylic acid or a halogen salt of acrylic acid (also referred to herein as “acrylic acid or the like”). As the halogen salt of acrylic acid, acrylic acid chloride is preferred.
This reaction is performed using a basic compound as a catalyst. Specific examples of basic compounds include strong acids such as sulfuric acid and p-toluenesulfonic acid in the case of reaction with acrylic acid, and dimethylaniline and diethylamine in the case of reaction with a halogen salt of acrylic acid. Is preferred.
Specifically, acrylic acid or the like and a basic compound are added to the solution of the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer obtained in the step (1), and the reaction is performed while stirring at 120 to 130 ° C. for 4 to 8 hours. During the reaction, it is preferable to dehydrate using, for example, a Dean-Stark tube.
The addition amount of acrylic acid or the like is 5 to 120 mol% with respect to the number of moles of the structural unit (b) contained in the hydroxyl group-containing fluoropolymer, and the addition amount of the basic compound is the hydroxyl group-containing fluorine-containing polymer. It is 5-120 mol% with respect to the number-of-moles of the structural unit (b) contained in a polymer.
According to the production method of the present invention, an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing fluoropolymer having a fluorine content of 45% by mass or more, more preferably 47% by mass or more is obtained.
The addition amount of the component (G) in the composition for forming a low refractive index layer is not particularly limited, but is usually 1 to 95% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent. The reason for this is that when the addition amount is less than 1% by mass, the refractive index of the cured coating film of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer increases, and a sufficient antireflection effect may not be obtained. This is because if the added amount exceeds 95% by mass, the scratch resistance of the cured coating film of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer may not be obtained.
For this reason, the amount of component (G) added is more preferably 2 to 90% by mass, and even more preferably 3 to 85% by mass.
2. (H) Particles mainly composed of silica (H) Particles mainly composed of silica used in the curable resin composition for a low refractive index layer are an example of the component (F) used in the HC cured film layer. The same particles as the silica particles may be used.

A preferred compound is 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane.
The silica particles used in the present invention preferably have an ethylenically unsaturated group (hereinafter referred to as “reactive silica particles”). The method for producing reactive silica particles is not particularly limited. For example, the reactive silica particles can be obtained by reacting the silica particles having a number average particle size of 10 to 100 nm with a reactive surface treatment agent.
Here, examples of the surface treatment agent include an alkoxysilane compound, tetrabutoxy titanium, tetrabutoxy zirconium, tetraisopropoxy aluminum, and the like. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
In the formula, R 22 is a methyl group, R 23 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R 24 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, a is 1 or 2, b is an integer of 1 to 5, and P is an integer of 1 to 5 carbon atoms. 6 divalent alkylene group, Q is a chain, cyclic or branched divalent hydrocarbon group having 3 to 14 carbon atoms, X is a (b + 1) valent chain, cyclic or branched group A divalent hydrocarbon group having 2 to 14 carbon atoms. Z may contain an ether bond.
When the silica particle has an ethylenically unsaturated group, it can be co-crosslinked with a UV curable (meth) acrylic monomer described later, and the scratch resistance is improved.
In addition, (H) particles containing silica as a main component are particles formed by bonding with the organic compound (Fb) described above, similarly to the (F) component used in the HC cured film layer. From the viewpoint of affinity.
The addition amount of the component (H) in the composition for forming a low refractive index layer is not particularly limited, but is usually 5 to 95% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent. The reason for this is that if the amount added is less than 5% by mass, the scratch resistance may be insufficient. On the other hand, if the amount added exceeds 95% by mass, the component (G) having a low refractive index may be used. This is because the refractive index may be too high because the content decreases.
For such reasons, it is preferable that the amount of component (H) added is 10 to 95% by mass,
A value in the range of 15 to 90% by mass is more preferable.

(I) Polymerizable unsaturated group-containing compound (I-1) (meth) acrylate compound containing one or more (meth) acryloyl groups One or more in a molecule used in the composition for forming a low refractive index layer The (meth) acrylate compound having a (meth) acryloyl group (hereinafter referred to as “(meth) acrylate compound (I-1)” or simply “compound (I-1)”) improves the film-forming property of the composition. Therefore, it is an optional additive component that is preferably used.
(I-2) Fluorine-containing (meth) acrylate compound containing one or more (meth) acryloyl groups The compound may be a fluorine-containing (meth) acrylate compound containing one or more (meth) acryloyl groups. There is no particular limitation. Examples of such include perfluorooctylethyl (meth) acrylate, octafluoropentyl (meth) acrylate, trifluoroethyl (meth) acrylate, and the like. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The amount of component (I) to be added is not particularly limited, but is usually 0 to 90% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent. The reason for this is that when the addition amount exceeds 90% by mass, the content of the component (G) having a low refractive index is lowered, so that the refractive index of the cured coating film of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer becomes high and sufficient. This is because the antireflection effect may not be obtained.
For this reason, the amount of component (I) added is more preferably 80% by mass or less, and still more preferably 60% by mass or less.
(J) Compound that generates active species by irradiation of active energy rays or heat A compound that generates active species by irradiation of active energy rays or heat can be added to the composition for forming a low refractive index layer. A compound that generates active species upon irradiation with active energy rays or heat is used to cure the composition for forming a low refractive index layer.
(1) Compound that generates active species upon irradiation with active energy rays This compound is the same as the component (C) used in the HC cured film layer.
(Ii) Addition amount The addition amount of the photopolymerization initiator is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.01 to 20% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent. The reason for this is that when the amount added is less than 0.01% by mass, the curing reaction becomes insufficient, and the scratch resistance and the scratch resistance after immersion in an alkaline aqueous solution may decrease. On the other hand, when the addition amount of the photopolymerization initiator exceeds 20% by mass, the refractive index of the cured film increases and the antireflection effect may be lowered.
Moreover, it is more preferable to set it as 0.05-15 mass% with respect to such composition for the addition amount of a photoinitiator with respect to composition whole quantity other than an organic solvent, and shall be 0.1-15 mass%. More preferably.
(2) Compound that generates active species by heat Examples of the compound that generates active species by heat (hereinafter referred to as “thermal polymerization initiator”) include a thermal radical generator that generates radicals as the active species.
(i)種類
(I) Type Examples of thermal radical generators include benzoyl peroxide, tert-butyl-oxybenzoate, azobisisobutyronitrile, acetyl peroxide, lauryl peroxide, tert-butyl peracetate, cumyl peroxide, tert -One kind of butyl peroxide, tert-butyl hydroperoxide, 2,2'-azobis (2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile), 2,2'-azobis (4-methoxy-2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile), etc. Single or 2 or more types of combinations can be mentioned.
(Ii) Addition amount The addition amount of the thermal polymerization initiator is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.01 to 20% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent.
For this reason, the addition amount of the thermal polymerization initiator is more preferably 0.05 to 15% by mass with respect to the total amount of the composition other than the organic solvent, and is within the range of 0.1 to 15% by mass. More preferably, the value of
(K) Organic solvent It is preferable to further add an organic solvent to the composition for forming a low refractive index layer. Thus, by adding an organic solvent, a thin antireflection film can be formed uniformly. As such an organic solvent, an alcohol solvent having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, a ketone solvent having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and an ester solvent having 3 to 10 carbon atoms can be preferably used, such as methyl isobutyl ketone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl amyl Ketones, methanol, ethanol, t-butanol, isopropanol, propylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol ethyl ether, propylene glycol monopropyl ether and the like are particularly preferable examples. These organic solvents can be used singly or in combination of two or more.
The addition amount of the organic solvent is not particularly limited, but is preferably 100 to 100,000 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the composition other than the organic solvent. The reason for this is that when the amount added is less than 100 parts by mass, it may be difficult to adjust the viscosity of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer, while when the amount added exceeds 100,000 parts by mass, This is because the storage stability of the composition for forming a low refractive index layer may be decreased, or the viscosity may be excessively decreased to make it difficult to handle.
(L) Additive In the composition for forming a low refractive index layer, a photosensitizer, a polymerization inhibitor, a polymerization initiation assistant, a leveling agent, a wettability improver, as long as the purpose and effect of the present invention are not impaired. Surfactants, plasticizers, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, antistatic agents, silane coupling agents, inorganic fillers other than the component (H), and the like can be added.
4). Method for preparing composition for forming low refractive index layer The composition for forming a low refractive index layer comprises the above-mentioned (G) curable fluorinated polymer and (H) silica-based particles, and if necessary, the above-mentioned It can prepare by adding (I) component, (J) polymerization initiator, (K) organic solvent, and (L) additive, respectively, and mixing under room temperature or heating conditions. Specifically, it can be prepared using a mixer such as a mixer, a kneader, a ball mill, or a three roll. However, when mixing under heating conditions, it is preferable to carry out at or below the decomposition start temperature of the thermal polymerization initiator.
5. Curing Method of Low Refractive Index Layer Composition The curing conditions of the low refractive index layer composition are not particularly limited. For example, when active energy rays are used, the exposure dose is 0.01 to 10 J. A value within the range of / cm 2 is preferable.
This is because when the exposure dose is less than 0.01 J / cm 2 , curing failure may occur. On the other hand, when the exposure dose exceeds 10 J / cm 2 , the curing time may become excessively long. Because there is.
For these reasons, the exposure dose is more preferably set to a value in the range of 0.1 to 5 J / cm 2 , and more preferably set to a value in the range of 0.3 to 3 J / cm 2. .
When the composition for forming a low refractive index layer is heated and cured, it is preferably heated at a temperature in the range of 30 to 200 ° C. for 0.5 to 180 minutes. By heating in this way, an antireflection film having excellent scratch resistance can be obtained more efficiently without damaging the substrate and the like.
For these reasons, it is more preferable to heat at a temperature in the range of 50 to 180 ° C. for 1 to 120 minutes, and further to heat at a temperature in the range of 80 to 150 ° C. for 1 to 60 minutes. preferable.

Production Example 1: Production of polyfunctional acrylate represented by formula (3) (component (C)) Consists of 16 parts of 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate in a container equipped with a stirrer and 0.2 part of dibutyltin dilaurate NK ester A-TMM-3LM-N manufactured by Shin-Nakamura Chemical Co., Ltd. (only the pentaerythritol triacrylate having a hydroxyl group is involved in the reaction) 93 parts was added dropwise to the solution at 10 ° C. for 1 hour. Then, the mixture was stirred at 60 ° C. for 6 hours to obtain a reaction solution.
When the amount of residual isocyanate in this reaction liquid was measured by FT-IR, it was 0.1 mass% or less, and it was confirmed that the reaction was carried out almost quantitatively. Moreover, it confirmed that a urethane bond and an acryloyl group (polymerizable unsaturated group) were included in the molecule | numerator.
As a result, 72 parts of the compound represented by the formula (3) and 37 parts of pentaerythritol tetraacrylate were obtained.

(1) Interference unevenness The reflectance profile was measured by the following method, and the amplitude of the wavy profile (interference unevenness) was used as an indicator of interference fringes. The reflectance profile of the cured product was determined using a reflection spectroscope manufactured by Otsuka Electronics Co., Ltd. Comparative Example 1 shows the amplitude (hereinafter referred to as “amplitude x”) in the wavelength range of 500 to 700 nm of the reflectance profile of the TAC film with a hard coat layer obtained using the composition of each Example or Comparative Example. The amplitude of the reflectance profile of the TAC film with a hard coat layer obtained using the composition in the same wavelength range (hereinafter referred to as “amplitude 0 ”) was compared, and interference unevenness was evaluated as follows.
When the amplitude x is less than 1/4 times the amplitude 0 , “◎”
“O” when the amplitude x is 1/4 to less than 1/2 times the amplitude 0
“△” when the amplitude x is 1/2 to less than 1 times the amplitude 0
“X” when the amplitude x is 1 or more times the amplitude 0
(2) Pencil Hardness Using a pencil hardness tester, the hardness of the core of the hardest pencil that was scratched five times under the condition of a load of 500 g and was not damaged four times or more was used as an evaluation value.
(3) Adhesiveness The adhesiveness of the cured film formed on the substrate is determined according to the following criteria in terms of the remaining film rate at 100 mm grids in total of 1 mm square in accordance with the grid cellophane tape peeling test in JIS K5400. Adhesion was evaluated.
“○” when the remaining film rate is 100 to 90%
“△” when the remaining film ratio is less than 90 to 50%
When the remaining film rate is less than 50% to 0%, “×”
(4) Haze Using a color haze meter manufactured by Suga Seisakusho Co., Ltd., the haze value (%) was measured according to ASTM D1003 and evaluated as a value including a base film.
(5) Evaluation in the vicinity of the boundary surface A TAC film with a hard coat layer was obtained in the same manner as in the production of the evaluation laminate of Example 1, except that the light irradiation condition was changed to 0.15 J / cm 2 . The TAC film with a hard coat layer was embedded with an epoxy resin, and cut out with a microtome perpendicular to the film surface to prepare a thin slice. The thin section and about 1 mm 3 of osmium tetroxide (OsO 4 ) were placed in a 50 mL sealed container and allowed to stand for 17 hours, and then the section was observed with a transmission electron microscope EM-24015 manufactured by JEOL Ltd. Using the thermal dispersive X-ray analyzer VANTAGE manufactured by Thermon-Run Co., Ltd. attached to the same electron microscope, the interface between the hard coat layer and the base material is sandwiched, and from the inside of the hard coat layer to the inside of the base material. The amount of osmium at each distance from the boundary surface was measured while moving by 0.3 μm in a direction perpendicular to the boundary surface. More specifically, the result of elemental analysis obtained by scanning the electron beam with 1.2 μm in parallel with the boundary surface for each distance was used as the measurement result at each distance. Since osmium tetroxide is added to the ethylenically unsaturated group, it is an indicator of the amount of the ethylenically unsaturated group. The result is shown in FIG. The atomic% of osmium atoms (ratio of osmium atoms when the total number of detected atoms (carbon, oxygen, osmium) is 100%) is in the base material in contact with the reinforcing surface of the hard coat layer and the base material. , Substantially continuously depending on the distance from the boundary surface. The atomic% of osmium atoms rapidly decreased as the distance increased from 0.5 to 0.6 μm. That is, among the components of the resin composition for a hard coat layer used to form the hard coat layer, a compound having at least an ethylenically unsaturated group penetrates into the base material, and the concentration is substantially as described above. Thus, a continuously changing region is formed.

From the results in Table 1, it can be seen that the cured films of the examples have few interference fringes, excellent pencil hardness and adhesion, and small haze.
On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1-3 which do not contain the (B) component in this invention, it turns out that an interference fringe is large. In Comparative Examples 2 and 3, an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing compound having a molecular weight exceeding 290 is blended in place of the component (B), but the results are the same. In Comparative Example 4 in which the amount of component (B) is large, the interference fringes are good, but it can be seen that haze increases. Thus, by adopting the configuration of the example, a hard coat film having high hardness, less interference fringes, and high transparency can be obtained for the first time.
