Description
本態様によれば、カムプレートの固定角度を変えることにより、積層体が導入される箇所の溶着手段のピッチが変化するので、サイズの異なる着用物品を製造し得る。
本態様によれば、半製品の切断時に弾性部材によるリバウンドが生じても着用物品の位置がズレるおそれがない。
また、本態様によれば、溶着手段のピッチが変化すると、溶着手段の間にリンクを介して連結された保持手段が回転体の径方向に移動しながら、溶着手段のピッチ変更に合わせて保持手段のピッチも変更される。したがって、保持手段について、別途、ピッチ変更手段を設ける必要がなくなる。
本第2発明によれば、軸方向に概ね直交する姿勢の積層体が超音波ウエルダにより溶着可能となる。また、ホーンが回転体の軸線方向に平行な方向に沿って振動するように設けられているので、装置が径方向に小型になる。
本第2発明によれば、開状態で積層体を導入し、閉状態で溶着することにより、積層体の導入が容易になる。
本第3発明によれば、溶着手段により着用物品ごとに切断した後に、切断された個々の着用物品を保持手段で保持して搬送することが可能となる。
この態様によれば、積層体の導入および搬送が容易になる。

全体構成:
図1は、本発明の一実施例にかかる加工装置の概略側面図である。
図1に示すように、本装置は、複数枚のウエブが重ねられた積層体Wの加工を行う。本装置の上流には、図示しないセーラ(折り装置)が設けられている。ロールWrに案内された積層体Wは、前記セーラにより、断面がU字状ないしV字状に折られる。
なお、前記着用物品WPには流れ方向に沿って伸縮するウエストギャザ(弾性部材により形成されている)が設けられており、切断後の個々の着用物品WPは前記ウエストギャザなどにより縮む。
溶着切断手段1i および保持手段2i はピッチ変更手段により、回転体3のまわりを1周する間に、各溶着切断手段1i および保持手段2i を配置したピッチが、たとえば、徐々に大きくなった後に小さくなるように、各溶着切断手段1i 間のピッチおよび各保持手段2i 間のピッチが所定のパターンで変化される。
図3に示すように、前記回転体3は、円筒状のフレーム6に対して回転自在に取り付けられている。
したがって、回転体3の回転に伴い第1リンク34を介して溶着切断手段1i が回転されると、溶着切断手段1i は、高速回転レール45に案内されて第1軸線O1を中心に回転される。
したがって、第1アーム31、第2アーム32、スライダ39、第1カムフォロア30および偏心カム40は、溶着切断手段1i のピッチを変更するピッチ変更手段を構成している。
図3に示す保持手段2i は、高速回転レール45に案内されて第1軸線O1を中心に回転される。図2に示すように、保持手段2i と、隣接する両側の溶着切断手段1i ,11+1 とは、一対の第3アーム(第2リンク)33,33を介して互いに接続されている。一方、図2の保持手段2i は回転体3の径方向に移動可能に支持されている。そのため、保持手段2i は、該保持手段2i の両側の溶着切断手段1i ,11+1 に対し、一対の第3アーム33,33により保持手段2i の周方向の位置が決定されるように取り付けられている。
図4Aに示す溶着切断手段1i は、アンビル11と、該アンビル11と協働して振動エネルギーを積層体Wに与えるホーン10とを備えている。超音波ウエルダ本体10Aは、回転体3の軸線方向Xに沿ってホーン10を振動するように設けられている。
図4Bの側面図に示すように、ホーン10およびアンビル11は、開閉レール14に沿って軸線方向Xに摺動自在に案内されると共に、下方(径方向の中心側)に第2カムフォロア12が設けられている。
一方、前記フレーム6には、カムドラム60が固定されている。カムドラム60の外周面には、前記第2カムフォロア12を案内する円筒カム62が形成されている。回転体3の回転に伴い、第2カムフォロア12が円筒カム62に案内されることにより溶着切断手段1i は、ホーン10とアンビル11とが軸線方向Xに離間した開状態と、図5に示す軸線方向Xに接近した閉状態となるように往復移動される。
図6Bに示すように、保持手段2i は、積層体Wの表面を吸着することにより該積層体Wを保持している。保持手段2i の構造としては、たとえば、保持手段2i 表面に多数の吸引孔20を設け、バキュームにより積層体W(着用物品WP)が吸引される構造であってもよい。
一方、図3に示すように、受取位置RPには、保持手段2i に積層体Wを導入する際に案内する前記導入装置101が設けられており、導入装置101は、たとえば、受取装置100と同様に、負圧によって積層体Wを保持し、負圧を解除して保持手段2i に渡す。
なお、図1に示すように、保持手段2i の回転方向Rの後端部には、受取装置100の渡し時において、着用物品WPに干渉しないための切欠部21が形成されている。
ロールWrから巻き出された積層体Wは、前記セーラにより、断面がU字状ないしV字状に折られた後、導入装置101によって吸着されながら本装置に搬送される。その後、受取位置RPにおいて、保持手段2i が当該積層体Wを吸着することにより、該保持手段2i が導入装置101から積層体Wを受け取る。
着用物品WPの渡し後、前記ピッチ変更手段により、溶着切断手段1i および保持手段2i 間のピッチが次第に小さくなった後、受取位置RPに向って徐々に大きくなる。
ここで、図3に示す本装置は、前記フレーム6に対し偏心カム40を任意の位置において位置決めすると共に固定する位置決め手段を備えている。前記位置決め手段は、第1軸線O1を中心にカムプレート4に形成された第1歯車41、該第1歯車41にかみ合う第2歯車42、および該第2歯車42に設けられた操作軸43などにより構成されている。操作軸43は、第2歯車42の軸線方向Xに長く形成されている。
着用物品WPのサイズを変更する場合には、図3に示す前述の位置決め手段の操作軸43を回転させて、フレーム6に対するカムプレート4の相対位置を変更する。かかる位置変更により、図2に示す受取位置RPにおける保持手段2i 間のピッチαが変更され、サイズの異なる(たとえばLとLLなど)着用物品WPの製造が可能となる。
たとえば、前述の実施例では、案内手段が積層体の内面を吸着することとしたが、外面を吸着してもよい。かかる場合には、保持手段は積層体の内面(他方の面)を吸着してもよい。
また、溶着切断手段および保持手段の回転軌跡は、円である必要はなく、楕円やその他の形状であってもよい。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

Claims (7)
- フレームに対し回転駆動する回転体と、
複数枚のウエブを重ねた積層体の面が前記回転体の軸方向に概ね直交する姿勢で前記積層体を前記回転体の外周に沿って搬送する搬送手段と、
前記回転体の外周に複数配置され、前記回転体と共に回転し、前記積層体の前記ウエブ同士を溶着する溶着手段と、
前記溶着手段が前記回転体のまわりを1周する間に、前記溶着手段を配置したピッチが所定のパターンで変化するように、前記溶着手段のピッチを変更するピッチ変更手段とを備えた溶着システム。 - 請求項1において、前記ピッチ変更手段は、
前記回転体の軸心に対し偏心した円に沿って形成された偏心カムを持つカムプレートと、
前記偏心カムに沿って回転するカムフォロアと、
前記カムフォロアと前記溶着手段との間を連結するリンクと、
前記フレームに対し前記カムプレートを任意の位置において位置決めする位置決め手段とを備えた溶着システム。 - 請求項1において、前記搬送手段は、前記回転体の外周に配置され前記積層体を保持しながら前記回転体と共に回転する複数の保持手段を含み、前記各溶着手段の間に前記保持手段が配置され、
前記保持手段のピッチが前記溶着手段のピッチの変化に応じて変化するように、前記保持手段が前記回転体の径方向に移動可能に支持されていると共に、前記保持手段の両側の前記溶着手段に対し一対のリンクで前記回転体の周方向の位置が決定されるように固定されている溶着システム。 - フレームに対し回転駆動する回転体と、
複数枚のウエブを重ねた積層体の面が前記回転体の軸方向に概ね直交する姿勢で前記積層体を前記回転体の外周に沿って搬送する搬送手段と、
前記回転体の外周に複数配置され、前記回転体と共に回転し、前記積層体の前記ウエブ同士を溶着する溶着手段とを備え、
ここにおいて、前記溶着手段は、アンビルと、該アンビルと協働して振動エネルギーを積層体に与えるホーンとを含み、前記ホーンが前記回転体の軸線方向に平行な方向に沿って振動するように設けられている溶着システム。 - 請求項4において、前記回転体が1回転するのに伴い、前記アンビルとホーンとが前記軸線方向に離間した開状態と、前記軸線方向に接近した閉状態との2つの状態となるように、前記アンビルおよび/またはホーンを移動させる移動手段を更に備えた溶着システム。
- フレームに対し回転駆動する回転体と、
複数枚のウエブを重ねた積層体の面が前記回転体の軸方向に概ね直交する姿勢で前記積層体を前記回転体の外周に沿って搬送する搬送手段と、
前記回転体の外周に複数配置され、前記回転体と共に回転し、前記積層体の前記ウエブ同士を溶着する溶着手段とを備え、
前記搬送手段は、前記回転体の外周に配置され前記積層体を保持しながら前記回転体と共に回転する複数の保持手段を含み、前記各溶着手段の間に前記保持手段が配置されている溶着システム。 - 請求項6において、前記積層体は断面が断面略U字状ないしV字状で内面および外面を有し、前記回転体に前記積層体を導入する際に案内する案内手段が前記外面または内面の一方を吸着し、前記保持手段が他方を吸着する溶着システム。
