Abstract
【解決手段】上記面光源は、複数個の分割領域を有する基板と、上記基板上に所定の配置構造で配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED、及び上記赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDを各々駆動するための赤色LED駆動回路、緑色LED駆動回路、 青色LED駆動回路を含む複数個のLED駆動部を含む。上記基板の各分割領域内に配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDは同一色相のLEDが相互直列連結され、一分割領域内の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED各々の直列連結は少なくとも一つの他の分割領域内の同一色相のLEDの直列連結と各々並列連結され上記LED駆動部の該当色相のLED駆動回路と各々連結される。

複数個の分割領域を有する基板と、
上記基板上に所定の配置構造で配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED、及び、
上記赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDを各々駆動するための赤色LED駆動回路、緑色LED駆動回路、青色LED駆動回路を含む複数個のLED駆動部を含み、
上記基板の各分割領域内に配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDは同一色相のLEDが相互直列連結され、一分割領域内の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED各々の直列連結は少なくとも一つの他の分割領域内の同一色相のLEDの直列連結と各々並列連結され、上記LED駆動部の該当色相のLED駆動回路と各々連結されることを特徴とする。
LCDパネルの後面に付着されたLCDバックライトユニットにおいて、
前述の本発明による面光源と、
上記面光源のLCDパネル側に具備され、上記面光源から入射された光を均一に拡散させる拡散シート、及び
上記拡散シートのLCDパネル側に具備され、上記拡散シートから拡散された光を上記LCDパネルの平面に垂直な方向に集光する少なくとも一つの集光シートを含むものである。
本明細書において、「連結」という用語は機械的な結合又は電気的な接続を意味し、それら(例えば「接続」)に置き換えることが可能である。

Claims (7)
- 複数個の分割領域を有する基板と、
前記基板上に所定の配置構造で配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED、及び
前記赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDを各々駆動するための赤色LED駆動回路、緑色LED駆動回路、青色LED駆動回路を含む複数個のLED駆動部を含み、
前記基板の各分割領域内に配置された複数個の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDは同一色相のLEDが相互に直列連結され、一分割領域内の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED各々の直列連結は少なくとも一つの他の分割領域内の同一色相のLEDの直列連結と各々並列連結され、前記LED駆動部の該当色相のLED駆動回路と各々連結されることを特徴とするLEDを用いた面光源。 - 前記複数個の分割領域は、前記基板をn×2または2×n(nは2以上の自然数)の領域に分割することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを用いた面光源。
- 前記一分割領域に配置された赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDの数は、他の分割領域に属する赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LEDの数と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを用いた面光源。
- 前記基板の一分割領域内の赤色LED、緑色LED、青色LED各々の直列連結は、隣接する一つの他の分割領域内の同一色相のLEDの直列連結と各々並列連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを用いた面光源。
- 前記LED駆動部各々は、相互に隣接している2個の分割領域に属する複数個のLEDを駆動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを用いた面光源。
- 前記配置構造は、
前記複数個のLEDを赤色、青色、緑色、緑色の順で繰り返して一列に配置した第1LED配列、及び
前記複数個のLEDを青色,赤色、緑色、緑色の順で繰り返して一列に配置した第2LED配列を含み、
各列に一つの赤色LED、一つの青色LED及び二つの緑色LEDを含む任意のLED配列が、その配列の順番で反復的に配置されるよう、前記第1LED配列及び第2LED配列を各々一つの行で複数個配置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを用いた面光源。 - LCDパネルの後面に付着されたLCDバックライトユニットにおいて、
前記第1項ないし第6項のうちいずれか一つの面光源と、
前記面光源のLCDパネル側に具備され、前記面光源から入射された光を均一に拡散させる拡散シート、及び
前記拡散シートのLCDパネル側に具備され、前記拡散シートから拡散された光を前記LCDパネルの平面に垂直な方向に集光する少なくとも一つの集光シートを含むことを特徴とするLCDバックライトユニット。
