Claims (27)
- サンプル取り扱い装置において、
少なくとも1つの空洞が中に形成されている本体と、
前記空洞と流体連通している針と、
駆動要素を少なくとも0.3175cmの距離だけ動かすことのできる圧電モーターと、を備えており、前記駆動要素を動かすと、材料サンプルの取り扱いに関連して前記針が作動するようになっている装置。 - 前記空洞内に少なくとも部分的には配置されており、前記駆動要素と連結されている可動要素であって、前記可動要素を前記空洞内で動かすと、流体が前記針の中を流れるようになっている可動要素を更に備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記空洞内に可動的に配置されており、前記駆動要素に連結されているプランジャであって、前記プランジャの移動が流体を前記針内に流す、そのようなプランジャを更に備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記空洞は、円筒形の穴を含んでおり、
前記装置は、前記円筒形の穴の中に配置されている円筒形の部分を有していて、動かすために前記駆動要素に連結されているプランジャを更に備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記針は、取り外し可能なピペット先端を受け入れることができるようになっている、請求項1に記載の装置。

- 同時に作動させて材料サンプルを取り扱わせることのできる複数の針を更に備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の針の動作は、1つの圧電モーターによって制御されている、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記針は、前記本体に対して動かして材料サンプルを取り扱わせることができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動要素を動かすと、前記針の中に流体が流れる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記針は、前記本体に対して動かすこと、及び針の中の流れを制御することの両方で作動させることができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- サンプル取り扱い装置において、
少なくとも1つの細長い空洞が中に形成されている本体と、
前記空洞の第1端部と流体連通している針と、
前記細長い空洞内を軸方向に動かすことのできるプランジャと、
前記プランジャを前記細長い空洞内で軸方向に動かして針を作動させ、材料サンプルを作業面に対して取り扱わせる圧電モーターと、を備えているサンプル取り扱い装置。 - 前記圧電モーターは、少なくとも約0.3175cmの距離だけ動かすことのできる駆動要素を含んでいる、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動要素は前記プランジャに連結されており、前記駆動要素を動かすと、前記プランジャが前記空洞内で軸方向に動くようになっている、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記プランジャが軸方向に動くと、前記針が前記本体に対して動いて前記針を作動させる、請求項14に記載の装置。
- ほぼ気密のシールが、前記プランジャと前記空洞の間に作られ、前記プランジャが前記空洞内で動くと、前記針で流体が流れるようになっている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記本体は複数の細長い空洞を有しており、前記装置は複数の針と複数のプランジャを備えており、そのそれぞれが関係付けられた空洞にそれぞれ対応しており、前記複数の針は、サンプル保持器内の複数の筒容器と相互作用するよう配置されている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のプランジャは、それぞれ対応する圧電モーターに関係付けられており、前記複数のプランジャそれぞれの移動は、個々に制御できるようになっている、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記針は、取り外し可能なピペット先端を受け入れることができるようになっている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- ロボット操作器の対応する連結器とかみ合う連結器を更に備えており、前記ロボット操作器が、前記装置を動かし制御して、材料サンプルを取り上げ又は置くことができるようになっている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 材料サンプルを取り扱うための方法において、
材料サンプルを取り扱うことができるように作られている針と流体連通している空洞内に少なくとも部分的には配置されている可動要素を提供する段階と、
前記可動要素を、圧電モーターを介して少なくとも0.3175cmの距離だけ動かす段階と、
前記可動要素の移動に基づいて、前記針を介して材料サンプルを動かす段階と、を備えている方法。 - 前記材料サンプルを動かす段階は、
前記針で液体サンプルを吸い込むか分注する段階を含んでいる、請求項23に記載の方法。 - 前記可動要素を動かす段階は、
空洞内で円筒形のプランジャを動かして、前記空洞と流体連通している前記針において圧力変化を引き起こす段階を含んでいる、請求項23に記載の方法。 - 前記可動要素を動かす段階は、

作業面に対する前記針の位置に関する情報を提供する容量性感知システムであって、前記情報は、前記針を前記作業面に対して動かす際に前記圧電モーターの作動を制御するのに用いられるようになっている容量性感知システムと、を備えている装置。
