Abstract
Description
請求項1の特徴を有する本発明による後燃焼装置はこれに対して、燃料を連続気泡型の耐熱性の発泡セラミックに調量分配することにより、微細な燃料滴を得るためのコストのかかる霧化装置を使用せずに、極めて良好な燃料分配を燃焼室内もしくは発泡セラミック内で行うことができる。これに伴う空気中酸素との比較的大きな接触面積により、供給される燃料および残留ガスのほぼ完全な燃焼、ひいては、極めて良好な効率、僅かな有害物質放出が得られる。発泡セラミック内で燃料の分配が行われるので、燃焼室もしくは発泡セラミック内へ燃料を跳梁して入れる調量装置もしくは燃料ノズルへの要求も極めて僅かになる。
次に本発明の実施例を一例として説明する。
Claims (10)
- 改質プロセス及び/又は燃料電池プロセスからの残留ガスを後燃焼させるための、特に水素を得るための化学的な改質器用の後燃焼装置(1)であって、燃料と燃焼可能な残留ガスを燃焼室(8)に分配するための少なくとも1つのノズル(2)と、少なくとも1つの空気供給部(3)とを有している形式のものにおいて、
燃焼室(8)に少なくとも部分的に、耐熱性の連続気泡型発泡セラミック(4)が充填されていることを特徴とする後燃焼装置。 - 発泡セラミック(4)が少なくとも部分的に炭化ケイ素から成っている、請求項1記載の後燃焼装置。
- 発泡セラミック(4)が網状化により連続気泡型に形成されている、請求項1または2記載の後燃焼装置。
- 発泡セラミック(4)が電気的に加熱可能である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の後燃焼装置。
- 発泡セラミック(4)が、燃焼室(8)の壁の少なくとも一部に、熱伝導的に良好に接触している、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の後燃焼装置。
- 発泡セラミック(4)が部分的に触媒的な層、特に白金によって覆われている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の後燃焼装置。
- 後燃焼装置(1)が点火装置を有している、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の後燃焼装置。
- 点火装置が電気的なグローコイル(14)またはグロープラグとして形成されている、請求項7記載の後燃焼装置。
- 点火装置が発泡セラミック(4)とノズル(2)との間に、または発泡セラミック(4)内に設けられている、または形成されている、請求項7または8記載の後燃焼装置。
- ノズル(2)がスワールノズルまたは多孔ノズルとして形成されている、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の後燃焼装置。
