Abstract
【解決手段】 雄コネクタ10のコネクタハウジング10aにおける各雄端子13の基端部近傍には、各雄端子13の撓みを許容するための撓み用空間15が設けられている。また、雄コネクタ10の各雄端子13には、撓み用空間15に位置する部位に、対応する雌端子14との接続部13aより細径に形成された細径部13bが設けられている。各雄端子13は、コネクタ嵌合時に、撓み用空間15内で細径部13bが撓むことにより、上側及び下側プリント基板1,2の位置誤差、実装誤差に起因するコネクタ嵌合時のコネクタ各部の歪みを吸収することができる。

Description
一端側部材102には、第1の端子保持部103が設けられており、第1の端子保持部103には、各端子110の一端側がコネクタ本体101の他端側から圧入されている。また、他端側部材103には、第2の端子保持部104が設けられており、第2の端子保持部104には、各端子110の他端側がコネクタ本体101の一端側から圧入されている。電気コネクタ100は、一方の基板120に各端子110の他端側を半田付けされた状態で、他方の基板121に取り付けられた相手側コネクタ130と接続される。
コネクタ各部の歪み発生は、雄端子との接続に伴う雌端子の変位に悪影響を及ぼし、雄端子及び雌端子の接続状態を悪化させる。また、コネクタハウジングに撓みを生じたり、半田付け部分にストレスがかかってしまい、コネクタの耐久信頼性を低下させるという問題もあった。
図1は本発明の第1実施形態である直付けコネクタの嵌合構造を適用された雌雄コネクタの嵌合状態を示す側面図であり、図2は図1のA−A断面図、図3は図2のB部拡大断面図である。また、図4は雄コネクタを示す斜視図であり、図5は図4の雄コネクタの側面図、図6は図5のC−C断面図である。また、図7は雌コネクタを示す斜視図であり、図8は図7の雌コネクタの側面図であり、図9は図8のD−D断面図である。
図10は、本発明の第2実施形態である直付けコネクタの嵌合構造を適用された雌雄コネクタの嵌合状態を示す側面図であり、図11は図10のE−E断面図、図12は図11のF部拡大断面図である。また、図13は雄コネクタを示す斜視図であり、図14は図13の雄コネクタの側面図、図15は図14のG−G断面図である。
したがって、上側及び下側プリント基板1,2の位置誤差、実装誤差に起因するコネクタ嵌合時のコネクタ各部の歪みを吸収することができる。これにより、コネクタの確実な嵌合性及び耐久信頼性を確保することができる。

Claims (6)
- 一組の雌雄コネクタの少なくとも一方のコネクタが基板上に固定される直付けコネクタの嵌合構造であって、
一方のコネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられた雌端子と、
他方のコネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられた雄端子とを備え、
前記雄端子の基端部近傍に、コネクタ嵌合時の前記雄端子の撓みを許容するための撓み空間が設けられていることを特徴とする直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。 - 一組の雌雄コネクタの少なくとも一方のコネクタが基板上に固定される直付けコネクタの嵌合構造であって、
一方のコネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられた雌端子と、
他方のコネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられ、基板に穿設された貫通孔を介して前記雌端子に接続される雄端子とを備え、
前記雄端子の基端部近傍及び前記基板の貫通孔に、コネクタ嵌合時の前記雄端子の撓みを許容するための撓み空間が設けられていることを特徴とする直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。 - 一組の雌雄コネクタの少なくとも一方のコネクタが基板上に固定される直付けコネクタの嵌合構造であって、
雌コネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられた雌端子と、
雄コネクタのコネクタハウジングのコネクタ嵌合部内に突設され、該コネクタ嵌合部への前記雌コネクタの嵌合に伴って前記雌端子に接続される雄端子とを備え、
前記雄端子の基端部近傍に、前記雄端子のコネクタ嵌合時の撓みを許容するための撓み空間が設けられていることを特徴とする直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。 - 一組の雌雄コネクタの少なくとも一方のコネクタが基板に固定される直付けコネクタの嵌合構造であって、
雌コネクタのコネクタハウジング内に設けられた雌端子と、
雄コネクタのコネクタハウジングに突設され、前記基板に穿設された貫通孔を介して前記雌端子に接続される雄端子とを備え、
前記雄端子の基端部近傍及び前記貫通孔に、前記雄端子のコネクタ嵌合時の撓みを許容するための撓み空間が設けられていることを特徴とする直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。 - 前記雄端子は、前記撓み空間に位置する部位に撓み機能が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。
- 前記雄端子の撓み機能は、相手の前記雌端子との接続部位より細径に形成された細径部により確保されることを特徴とする請求項5記載の直付けコネクタの嵌合構造。
