ここで、Rは赤、Gは緑、Bは青を示す。別の例は、内容の変更に対する感度の構成である。多数のシーンカットにより、活発な照明効果が得られることもある。感度を下げることにより、システムは長時間の間の大きな変化に反応するのみとなる。例えば、DVDまたはVCR映画を見ている場合、シーンの早送りにより、照明は中立の光設定に推移する。更に別の例はバランスの構成であり、多数の光源の場合、照明を特定の光源に変更する。また、偏光およびシーンのコントラストも例であり、偏光はシステムの能力を反映させて、例えば好きでないサッカークラブのゴールよりも好きなサッカークラブのゴールを強調するなど、予め定義した出来事に対して雰囲気を幾分強調する。またシーンのコントラストはシステムの能力を反映させて、連続するシーンなどにおける周辺光を変更する。

Claims (9)
- 受信器によって主要データと付加データとを受信し、
前記付加データに基づいて前記周辺光の特性を設定することを備える周辺光を制御する方法であって、
前記付加データが前記主要データについての記述情報を備え、また前記方法が
前記付加データから前記記述情報をフィルタリングし、
前記記述情報に基づいて前記周辺光の前記特性を設定することを備える、方法。 - 前記方法が表示装置によって前記主要データを表示し、また前記表示装置に近接する前記周辺光の前記特性を設定することを含む、請求項1に記載の周辺光を制御する方法。
- 前記周辺光の前記特性の設定が、前記表示装置による前記主要データの表示とほぼ同期している、請求項2に記載の周辺光を制御する方法。
- 前記周辺光の前記特性の設定が変更可能である、請求項1に記載の周辺光を制御する方法。
- 前記周辺光の前記特性の設定がユーザの好みによって変更可能である、請求項1に記載の周辺光を制御する方法。
- 主要データと付加データとを受信するよう構成されている受信手段と、
前記付加データに基づいて前記周辺光の特性を設定するよう構成されている設定手段とを具備してなる周辺光を制御するシステムであって、
前記付加データが前記主要データについての記述情報を含み、また前記システムが
前記付加データから前記記述情報をフィルタリングするよう構成されているフィルタリング手段と、
前記記述情報に基づいて前記周辺光の前記特性を設定するよう構成されている設定手段とを具備してなるシステム。 - 前記システムが表示装置上で前記主要データを表示するよう構成されている表示手段を具備し、且つ前記設定手段が前記表示装置に近接している前記周辺光の前記特性を設定するよう構成されている、請求項6に記載の周辺光を制御するシステム。
- 前記システムが、前記表示手段を前記設定手段と同期させるよう構成されている同期化手段を具備してなる、請求項7に記載の周辺光を制御するシステム。
- 光アーマチュアと、請求項6に記載の前記システムとを具備してなる照明ユニット。
