Claims (15)
- 複数の連続する検出ブロックを含むマイクロアレイであって、各々の検出ブロックは、マイクロアレイのスライド上に構成された関心のある核酸プローブを含有する同じ特徴の組を含んでおり、前記各々の検出ブロックにおける前記特徴の組が、同一に配置されることを特徴とするマイクロアレイ。
- 各々の検出ブロックのコーナにおいて、4つの隣接する検出ブロックが連結するコーナ点を識別するための積極的制御特徴をさらに含む請求項1に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記プローブがポリヌクレオチドである請求項1に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記プローブがポリペプチドである請求項1に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記マイクロアレイのスライドに連結された物理的な障壁により形成された複数のウェルをさらに含み、各々のウェルの大きさが、1つの検出ブロックより、すべての寸法において大きく、前記ウェルが、ハイブリダイゼーション工程中に、互いに流体連通状態になく、前記複数のウェルが、前記マイクロアレイ上の特徴と整合することなく、該マイクロアレイ上に配置されるようになった請求項1に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記ウェルが同じ形状である請求項5に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記ウェルの形状が、矩形、六角形、及び円形から選択された請求項5に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 前記物理的な障壁を、前記マイクロアレイのスライドから分離することができる請求項5に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 複数の検出ブロックが、少なくとも4ブロックである請求項6に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 複数の検出ブロックが、少なくとも10ブロックである請求項6に記載のマイクロアレイ。
- 請求項1に記載のマイクロアレイを作る方法であって、
関心のあるプローブを含有する特徴の検出ブロックを選択する工程と、
1つの検出ブロックを前記マイクロアレイのスライドの1つの領域に位置決めする工程と、
別の特徴の検出ブロックを前記マイクロアレイのスライドの別の領域に位置決めする工程と、
からなる方法。 - 請求項5に記載のマイクロアレイを作る方法であって、
関心のあるプローブを含有する特徴の検出ブロックを選択する工程と、
物理的な障壁により形成されたウェルで予めパターン形成されたマイクロアレイのスライドを準備する工程であって、各々のウェルが、前記検出ブロックを収容するのに十分に大きい区域を含んでいる、前記工程と、
或る検出ブロックを前記マイクロアレイのスライドの1つの領域に位置決めする工程と、
別の特徴の検出ブロックを前記マイクロアレイのスライドの別の領域に位置決めする工程と、
を含む方法。 - 単一マイクロアレイ上で、多数のハイブリダイゼーション実験を並行して行う方法であって、
複数の検出ブロックを有するマイクロアレイを準備する工程であって、各々の検出ブロックは複数の同様な特徴を有し、前記特徴の各々は定義されたプローブの組をその内部に有する、前記工程と、
ウェルを前記検出ブロックに整合させることなく、ウェルの組を前記マイクロアレイ上に物理的に配置する工程であって、各ウェルは検出ブロックよりも面積が大きい、前記工程と、
異なる試料を異なるウェルに配置する工程と、
ハイブリダイゼーション実験を行う工程と、
前記ハイブリダイゼーション実験からデータを取得する工程と、
前記ハイブリダイゼーション実験からのデータから、或るウェルに対するデータが由来する検出ブロックのコーナの場所を決定し、そのコーナの近くにある特徴からのデータを組み合わせて、検出ブロック全体からのデータを再構成する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 各々の検出ブロックが、そのコーナに隣接する制御特徴を含み、各々のブロックのコーナの位置を特定するのを補助する請求項13に記載の方法。
- 単一マイクロアレイ上で複数の試料に対して複数のハイブリダイゼーション反応を行う方法であって、
請求項6に記載のマイクロアレイを準備する工程と、
1つの試料を1つの検出ブロック内のプローブにハイブリダイズする工程と、
別の試料を別の検出ブロック内のプローブにハイブリダイズする工程と、
を含む方法。
