Abstract
【解決手段】 転写記録材料は複数のパネルを形成するキャリア上の多層構造を備える。多層構造のパネルに対応する部分は、各ピクセルが所定の角度で入射光を反射するよう構成したエンボス加工層を備える。パネルはYMCK原色の1つで彩色してよく、多層材料の何れかの層を彩色してよい。隣接する彩色パネルのエンボス加工層に対応する各ピクセルは、異なる所定の角度で入射光を反射するよう構成する。転写材料は、上記ピクセルを備えたエンボス加工層を各層が有する望ましい数のパネルを有してもよい。転写材料は、異なる所定の角度で光を反射するエンボス加工層を各々備える複数の間隔の開いたパネルで形成する。印刷ヘッドの表面が活性化すると、異なったパネルの彩色したピクセルを基材上に転写し、ホログラフィを備えたカラー画像を形成する。

Claims (15)
- 基材上に画像を形成する多層材料であって、
前記材料が複数のパネルを備えるエンボス加工層を備え、その際個々の前記パネルが各々原色の1つで彩色され、前記個々のパネル各々について異なる所定の反射角αnで入射光を回折するよう処理されることを特徴とする多層材料。 - 前記個々のパネルが各々、他のパネルのエンボス模様の反射角と異なる所定の角度αnで入射光を回折するようエンボス加工することによって処理される請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 前記個々のパネルが各々、同じ個々のパネル内に配置された全てのピクセルが所定の角度αnで入射光を回折し、その結果、各前記パネルが、他のパネルのピクセルの回折角と異なる角度で入射光を回折するようエンボス加工されたピクセルを備える多数パネル配置が得られるような形でエンボス加工された複数のピクセルを備えるよう処理される請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 耐熱層と、耐磨耗層またはトップコートと、前記エンボス加工層の上に重ねられた反射層と、熱活性化によって前記材料を前記基材に貼付する役目を果たす熱活性化接着層とをさらに備える請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 複数の角度αn(n≦256)が番号の配列を形成する複数の所定の番号に対応する請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 前記原色が黄−マゼンタ−シアン−黒を備える請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 基材上にホログラフィの外観を有するカラー画像を形成する方法であって、前記画像が画像形成ピクセルから構成される方法において、前記方法が、
複数のパネルを備えるエンボス加工層を有する転写材料を提供するステップであって、個々の前記パネルが各々原色の1つで彩色され、各前記パネルについて異なる所定の反射角αnで入射光を回折するよう処理されるステップと、
前記原色の1つで彩色された個々の前記パネル各々から前記基材に前記画像形成ピクセルを選択的ピクセル転写するステップであって、それによって前記カラー画像を形成するステップとを備えることを特徴とするカラー画像を形成する方法。 - 前記選択的ピクセル転写するステップが、前記画像形成ピクセルの各ピクセルを熱活性化するステップと、各前記ピクセルが前記転写材料から分離して前記基材に接着するようにするステップとを備える請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記選択的ピクセル転写するステップが、前記画像形成ピクセルの各ピクセルを熱活性化するステップと、各前記ピクセルが前記転写材料から分離して前記基材に接着するようにするステップとを備える請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ホログラフィ画像を形成するため、前記転写材料から前記基材に前記画像形成ピクセルのコンピュータ制御選択的ピクセル転写を提供するステップをさらに備える請求項7に記載の方法。
- 基材上に画像を形成する多層材料であって、前記多層材料の何れかの層が原色の1つで彩色されており、前記材料が複数のパネルを備えるエンボス加工層を備え、その際個々の前記パネルが各々前記原色の1つに対応し、前記個々のパネル各々について異なる所定の反射角αnで入射光を回折するよう処理されることを特徴とする多層材料。
- 基材上にホログラフィの外観を有する画像を形成する方法であって、前記画像が画像形成ピクセルから構成される方法において、前記方法が、
多層転写材料の何れかの層が原色の1つで彩色された多層転写材料を提供するステップであって、前記材料が複数のパネルを備えるエンボス加工層を有し、その際個々の前記パネルが各々前記原色の1つに対応し、各前記パネルについて異なる所定の反射角αnで入射光を回折するよう処理されるステップと、
前記原色の1つで彩色された個々の前記パネル各々から前記基材に前記画像形成ピクセルを選択的ピクセル転写するステップであって、それによって前記画像を形成するステップとを備えることを特徴とする画像を形成する方法。 - 前記選択的ピクセル転写するステップが、個々のピクセルを混合するステップを備える請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記選択的ピクセル転写するステップによって前記基材上に前記画像を形成するステップが前記基材上に独立型ピクセルを形成するステップを備える請求項12に記載の方法。
- 基材上に形成されたホログラフィ画像であって、前記ホログラフィ画像が複数のホログラフィ・ドットを備え、その際各ドットが原色の1つの彩色されたドットか、または前記原色の1つに彩色された1つより多いドットの何れかから構成され、かつその際各ドットが所定の回折角で光を回折することを特徴とするホログラフィ画像。
