[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the electric parking brake device disclosed in the above publication, when the cable is released by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor and the parking brake is released, the stroke toward the loose side (release side) of the cable reaches the target stroke. The reverse rotation drive of the electric motor is maintained up to. By the way, in order to ensure that the parking brake is released by releasing the cable, the target stroke at this time needs to be set to a large value with a margin as a loosening amount between products, for example. There is a risk that the cable will be released excessively (unnecessarily). In such a case, the responsiveness when the parking brake is changed from the released state to the braking state is deteriorated.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and its main object is to configure the parking brake from the released state to the braked state so that the cable is not released excessively by the release limiting mechanism. An object of the present invention is to provide an electric parking brake device capable of improving the response at the time.
[0006]
The purpose is to convert the rotational driving force of the electric motor into a linear driving force, a cable connected to the output portion of the converting mechanism to transmit the linear driving force to a parking brake, and the rotational driving of the electric motor. An electric control device for controlling the electric motor, the cable is pulled by a forward rotation drive of the electric motor to bring the parking brake into a braking state, and the cable is released by a reverse rotation drive of the electric motor. In the electric parking brake device configured so that the parking brake is released, a tension acting on the cable by reverse rotation driving of the electric motor is set to a power transmission system that connects the electric motor and the cable. When the following is true, the cable is released mechanically by the electric motor. Thus it is possible to achieve by providing a release restriction mechanism for restricting.
[0007]
In this electric parking brake device, when the release limiting mechanism provided in the power transmission system that connects the electric motor and the cable becomes less than the set value when the tension acting on the cable is reduced by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor, The cable release action by is limited by mechanical action. For this reason, if the set value is substantially zero, when the tension applied to the cable by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor becomes substantially zero, that is, when the parking brake is released, the cable of the electric motor is The release operation is limited by the mechanical operation of the release limiting mechanism.
[0008]
Therefore, excessive and unnecessary release operation of the cable by the electric motor can be limited. For this reason, it is possible to improve the responsiveness when the parking brake is changed from the released state to the braking state, that is, the responsiveness when the cable is pulled by the forward rotation of the electric motor. Further, in this electric parking brake device, the release operation of the cable by the electric motor is limited by the mechanical operation of the release limiting mechanism. Therefore, a sensor for detecting the tension acting on the cable, An electric actuator that operates electrically based on the detection value of the sensor is not required and can be implemented at low cost.
[0009]
Further, in carrying out the present invention, the conversion mechanism uses a nut that is screwed onto the screw shaft as an input element with a screw shaft that can be moved by a predetermined amount in the axial direction with the moving direction of the cable as an axial direction. The release limiting mechanism is a fixing ring that is coaxially disposed with respect to the input side end of the screw shaft and cannot rotate, and is interposed between the fixing ring and the screw shaft. A spring clutch that is allowed to rotate by increasing the frictional engagement force with the fixed ring by the diameter expansion operation, and is allowed to rotate by reducing the frictional engagement force with the fixed ring by the diameter reduction operation. It has a helical output gear that is integrally movable in the axial direction with respect to the input side end portion and is capable of relative rotation in a predetermined amount in the rotational direction. And the electric module The helical output gear is moved and held in a clutch-off position for reducing the diameter of the spring clutch until the tension acting on the cable drops to a set value during reverse rotation driving of the motor. A helical gear train in which the helical output gear is moved and held in a clutch-on position for expanding the spring clutch when the tension acting on the cable is less than a set value during reverse rotation driving; It is also possible. In this case, the configuration of the conversion mechanism and the release limiting mechanism included in the power transmission system that connects the electric motor and the cable can be simplified and implemented at low cost.
[0010]
In carrying out the present invention, motor stop means is provided for stopping energization of the electric motor based on a current value flowing through the electric motor when the release limiting mechanism restricts the release operation of the cable by the electric motor. It is also possible. In this case, it is possible to stop the energization of the electric motor in conjunction with the release limiting mechanism restricting the cable release operation by the electric motor, thereby eliminating the unnecessary energization of the electric motor and saving energy. Can be achieved.
[0011]
Further, when carrying out the present invention, an abnormality occurs in the cable based on whether or not the release limit operation start time of the release limit mechanism occurs within a set time from the reverse rotation drive start time of the electric motor. It is also possible to provide abnormality determination means for determining whether or not the In this case, it is possible to notify the occupant of the cable abnormality by the warning means based on the abnormality determination of the abnormality determination means.
[0012]
In carrying out the present invention, the abnormality determining means may determine based on the value of the current flowing through the electric motor. In this case, it can be implemented by detecting the value of the current flowing through the electric motor with a current sensor, and it is easy for an electric parking brake device that employs a configuration that detects the value of the current flowing through the electric motor with a current sensor. It is possible to apply to.
[0013]
Moreover, when carrying out the present invention, it is also possible to provide an abnormal-time motor stop unit that stops energization of the electric motor when the abnormality determination unit determines that an abnormality has occurred in the cable. In this case, it is possible to save energy by eliminating unnecessary energization of the electric motor.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an actuator of an electric parking brake device for an automobile embodying the present invention. This actuator decelerates and transmits a rotational driving force, which is an output of an electric motor 11, and the deceleration mechanism. A conversion mechanism B that converts the rotational driving force of the electric motor 11 transmitted via A into a linear driving force, and the linear driving force that is driven by the linear driving force converted by the conversion mechanism B and that outputs the linear driving force to two output units The equalizer mechanism C that distributes the electric motor 11, the pair of cables 17 and 19 that are connected to the respective output portions of the equalizer mechanism C and transmit the linear driving force to the parking brakes 13 and 15, and the rotational drive of the electric motor 11 are controlled. An electric control unit ECU (see FIG. 2) is provided.
[0015]
As shown in FIG. 2, the operation of the electric motor 11 is controlled by the electric control unit ECU, and when the driver operates the brake switch SW1, the electric motor 11 is rotationally driven in the forward direction. The release switch SW2 is operated to rotate in the reverse direction. The speed reduction mechanism A is composed of two to four speed reduction gears 21, 22, 23, 24, and each gear 21, 22, 23, 24 is incorporated in a casing 32 provided on one side of the housing 31. The input gear 21 is fixed to the output shaft 11 a of the electric motor 11.
[0016]
The pair of large and small intermediate gears 22 and 23 are assembled on the support shaft 25 assembled to the casing 32 in a state of being freely rotatable and restricted in axial movement. The large intermediate gear 22 is connected to the input gear 21. The intermediate gear 23 having a small diameter is a helical input gear and is in mesh with a helical output gear 24. The output gear 24 can move integrally in the axial direction with respect to the input side end 41a (the end protruding into the casing 32) of the screw shaft 41, and can relatively rotate by a predetermined amount in the rotational direction (for example, 3 (see FIG. 3B) and a small-diameter intermediate gear 23 constitutes a helical gear train A1, and is shown in FIG. In order to receive the rightward force f1 and to receive the leftward force f2 shown in FIG. 4 (a) and FIG. 5 (a) when the electric motor 11 is driven in reverse rotation (not shown) ) Is formed.
[0017]
The conversion mechanism B has a configuration in which the screw shaft 41 described above is used as an input element, and a nut 42 screwed and assembled to the screw shaft 41 is used as an output element. The screw shaft 41 is driven to rotate in the forward direction. 1 moves the nut 42 in the axial direction of the screw shaft 41 from the release position indicated by the solid line in FIG. 1 toward the braking position indicated by the phantom line in FIG. 1, and the screw shaft 41 is rotationally driven in the reverse direction. Thus, the nut 42 is moved in the axial direction of the screw shaft 41 toward the release position indicated by the solid line in FIG.
[0018]
The screw shaft 41 is movable in a predetermined amount in the axial direction with the moving direction of the cables 17 and 19 as an axial direction, and is rotatable, and includes a pair of radial metal bearings 43 and 44 and one thrust needle bearing 45. The housing 31 and the casing 32 are assembled. Further, an axial force fo corresponding to the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19 acts on the screw shaft 41 in the axial direction via the equalizer mechanism C and the nut 42. The screw shaft 41 is formed with an annular flange 41 b that engages with the thrust needle bearing 45.
[0019]
The equalizer mechanism C equally distributes the linear driving force acting on the nut 42 to the two output portions, and is configured by a lever 51 that is swingably assembled to the nut 42. The lever 51 is assembled to the nut 42 so as to be swingable by a predetermined amount at the center portion thereof, and one end of the arm portion 51a as one output portion can be rotated to the inner wire 17a in one cable 17. One end of the inner wire 19a in the other cable 19 is rotatably connected to the arm portion 51b which is the other output portion.
[0020]
In this embodiment, a release limiting mechanism D is provided at a power transmission system for connecting the electric motor 11 and the cables 17 and 19, specifically, at a connecting portion between the speed reduction mechanism A and the conversion mechanism B. . The release limiting mechanism D is a force corresponding to the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19 by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11, and the axial force fo acting on the screw shaft 41 is below a set value. Then, the release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11 is limited by a mechanical operation, and is formed integrally with the fixing ring 61, the spring clutch 62, and the hub portion of the output gear 24. The protrusion 24 a and the rotor 63 assembled to the input side end 41 a of the screw shaft 41 are configured.
[0021]
The fixing ring 61 is coaxially arranged with respect to the input side end portion 41a of the screw shaft 41 and is assembled to the casing 32. The fixing ring 61 cannot be rotated by engaging with a lock pin 64 assembled to the casing 32. Has been. The spring clutch 62 is interposed between the fixed ring 61 and the screw shaft 41, more specifically, between the fixed ring 61 and the rotor 63, and as shown in FIG. 62b protrudes toward the inner periphery, and each end 62a, 62b is rotationally driven by the rotor 63 to expand the diameter, thereby increasing the frictional engagement force with the fixed ring 61 and restricting the rotation, Each end 62a, 62b is rotationally driven by the projection 24a of the output gear 24 to reduce the diameter, thereby reducing the frictional engagement force with the fixed ring 61 and allowing the rotation.
[0022]
The rotor 63 is rotationally driven by the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24, and is integrated with the screw shaft 41 via a key 65 fitted in a key groove 41c formed in the input side end portion 41a of the screw shaft 41. It is connected and is rotatable integrally with the screw shaft 41, and has a fan-shaped recess 63a that accommodates both ends 62a, 62b of the spring clutch 62 and the projection 24a of the output gear 24 so as to be relatively rotatable relative to each other. Yes. The key 65 can be eliminated by integrally forming the input side end 41 a of the screw shaft 41 corresponding to the rotor 63.
[0023]
By the way, in this release limiting mechanism D, when the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate in the forward direction, the helical output gear 24 is generated by meshing with the helical intermediate gear 23 as shown in FIG. The axial force f1 is pushed to the right and the screw shaft 41 is pulled to the right by the axial force fo corresponding to the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19. Therefore, the output gear 24 and the screw shaft 41 are moved and held at positions where the axial forces f1 and fo are received by the thrust needle bearing 45, and the projection 24a of the output gear 24 contracts the spring clutch 62. It is moved and held at the clutch-off position (the position at which the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24 engages with the end 62a of the spring clutch 62) for radial operation. Accordingly, at this time, as shown in FIG. 3B, the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24 causes the rotor 63 to move in the forward direction (clockwise in FIG. 3B) via the end 62a of the spring clutch 62. Rotation drive.
[0024]
On the other hand, until the axial force fo acting on the screw shaft 41 is reduced to the set value by the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19 when the electric motor 11 is driven in reverse rotation, ), The rightward axial force fo acting on the screw shaft 41 is changed to the leftward axial force f2 acting on the output gear 24 due to the meshing of the output gear 24 and the intermediate gear 23. Although the output gear 24 is pushed to the left by the axial force f2 to the left, the screw shaft 41 is to the right by the axial force fo (fo> f2) to the right. It does not move in the axial direction. For this reason, the output gear 24 is held in a clutch-off position (a position where the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24 engages with the end portion 62b of the spring clutch 62) at which the diameter of the spring clutch 62 is reduced. Therefore, at this time, as shown in FIG. 4B, the projection 24a of the output gear 24 moves the rotor 63 in the reverse direction via the end 62b of the spring clutch 62 (counterclockwise in FIG. 4B). To rotate.
[0025]
Further, when the axial force fo described above becomes equal to or less than a set value (substantially zero) during reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11, the output gear 24 moves to the left as shown in FIG. Because the output gear 24 is pushed leftward by the axial force f2 of the shaft, the output gear 24 is in a clutch-on position where the spring clutch 62 is expanded (the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24 is engaged with the end 62b of the spring clutch 62). The position is not moved). Therefore, at this time, as shown in FIG. 5B, the protrusion 24a of the output gear 24 directly drives the rotor 63 to rotate in the reverse direction (counterclockwise in FIG. 5B).
[0026]
As schematically shown in FIG. 2, the electric control unit ECU is electrically connected to the brake switch SW1 and the release switch SW2, and electrically connected to the current sensor S1, the electric motor 11, and the lamps L1 and L2. It is connected to the. The current sensor S1 detects a current value I flowing through the electric motor 11, and is shown outside the electric control unit ECU in FIG. 2, but is actually incorporated in the electric control unit ECU.
[0027]
The electric control unit ECU includes a microcomputer having a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, an interface, a timer, and the like, and the CPU of the electric control unit ECU responds to the operation of the brake switch SW1 and the release switch SW2 as shown in FIG. A control program corresponding to the flowchart of FIG. 8 is executed to control the rotational drive of the electric motor 11, the operation of the indicator lamp L1 (lighting and extinguishing), the operation of the warning lamp L2 (lighting and extinguishing) and the like.
[0028]
In this embodiment configured as described above, when both the cables 17 and 19 and the like are normal and the actuator operates normally, when the brake switch SW1 is operated, the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate in the forward direction. Before the screw shaft 41 of the mechanism B rotates forward and the timer value T (elapsed time from when the brake switch SW1 is operated) counted by the microcomputer timer reaches the set time T1, the nut 42 and the equalizer mechanism C Moves from the solid line position in FIG. 1 to the virtual line position. For this reason, both the cables 17 and 19 are pulled, and both the parking brakes 13 and 15 are put into a braking state.
[0029]
By the way, at this time, the currents detected by the current sensor S1 in accordance with the increase in the load on the electric motor 11 as the two cables 17 and 19 are pulled to bring the both parking brakes 13 and 15 into the braking state. When the value I increases sequentially and both parking brakes 13 and 15 are in the intended braking state, the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 becomes equal to or greater than the set value Io.
[0030]
Therefore, until the current value I reaches the set value Io, steps 104, 105, and 106 are repeatedly executed after steps 101, 102, and 103 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 6 are executed. Further, when the current value I becomes the set value Io, it is determined as “Yes” in the execution of step 105, and then steps 108 to 110 are executed. Therefore, at this time, the indicator lamp L1 indicating that both parking brakes 13 and 15 are in a braking state is turned on, and the forward rotation drive of the electric motor 11 is stopped, so that the parking brakes 13 and 15 are in a braking state. Is maintained.
[0031]
In the actuator, when the brake switch SW1 is operated in a state where at least one of the cables 17 and 19 is disconnected (specifically, at least one of the inner wires 17a and 19a is disconnected), the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate forward, and the screw shaft 41 of the conversion mechanism B is rotated forward, whereby the nut 42 and the equalizer mechanism C are moved from the solid line position of FIG. 1 to the virtual line position.
[0032]
However, at this time, since the increase in the load on the electric motor 11 is small as compared with the normal time described above, even if the timer value T measured by the microcomputer timer reaches the set time T1, it is detected by the current sensor S1. The current value I does not become the set value Io. Therefore, steps 104, 105, and 106 are repeatedly executed after steps 101, 102, and 103 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 6 are executed until the timer value T reaches the set time T1.
[0033]
When the timer value T reaches the set time T1, it is determined as “Yes” in the execution of step 106, and then steps 107 to 110 are executed. For this reason, at this time, the warning lamp L2 for displaying an abnormality and the indicator lamp L1 for displaying that the vehicle is in a braking state are turned on, and the forward rotation driving of the electric motor 11 is stopped. Therefore, at the time of this abnormality, it is possible to notify the occupant of the abnormality of the cables 17 and 19 by turning on the warning lamp L2.
[0034]
Further, when the release switch SW2 is operated when the actuator operates normally, the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate reversely, the screw shaft 41 of the conversion mechanism B is rotated reversely, and the timer of the microcomputer clocks. Before the timer value T (the time when the release switch SW2 is operated, that is, the elapsed time from the start of reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11) reaches the second set time T2, the nut 42 and the equalizer mechanism C are Move from the virtual line position to the solid line position.
[0035]
For this reason, both the cables 17 and 19 are released and both the parking brakes 13 and 15 are released, and an axial force acting on the screw shaft 41 by the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19. When fo becomes less than or equal to the set value, that is, when the release of the cables 17 and 19 is completed, the output gear 24 is moved and held at the clutch-on position for expanding the spring clutch 62 as shown in FIG. The friction engagement force between the fixing ring 61 and the spring clutch 62 is increased, and the rotation of the screw shaft 41 is restricted. Therefore, at this time, the load of the electric motor 11 also increases due to the mechanical operation of the release limiting mechanism D, and the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 rapidly increases to the set value I2.
[0036]
By the way, when the actuator operates normally, when the release switch SW2 is operated and the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate in reverse, the CPU of the electric control unit ECU corresponds to the flowcharts of FIGS. And the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 changes as shown in FIG. Therefore, steps 201, 202, 203, and 204 in the flowchart shown in FIG. 7 are performed until the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 rises to the set value I1 for determining the start of starting the electric motor 11. After the execution, the release determination routine 300 is executed. In the release determination routine 300, steps 301, 302, 303, 304, and 306 of the flowchart shown in FIG.
[0037]
When the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 rises to the set value I1 for determining the start of starting the electric motor 11, it is determined as “Yes” in the execution of step 304 in FIG. Step 305 in which the start start flag Fs is turned ON and the above-described steps 306, 301, 302, and 303 are executed, and “Yes” is determined in step 303. Thereafter, steps 307, 309, 306, 301, 302 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 8 are performed until the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 drops to the set value I1 for determining the start of the electric motor 11. , 303 are repeatedly executed.
[0038]
Thus, when the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 falls to the set value I1 for determining the end of starting of the electric motor 11, it is determined as “Yes” in the execution of step 307 in FIG. Step 308 for turning on the activation end flag Fe and the above-described steps 306, 301, and 302 are executed, and it is determined as "Yes" in step 302. Thereafter, steps 311, 301, and 302 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 8 are repeatedly executed until the current value I detected by the current sensor S 1 rises to the set value I 2 for determining completion of release of the cables 17 and 19. [0039]
Further, when the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 rises to the set value I2 for determining completion of release of the cables 17 and 19 (at the time of motor OFF in FIG. 9), execution of step 311 in FIG. In step S205, 206 and 207 in FIG. 7 are executed. Therefore, at this time, the indicator lamp L1 is turned off, the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11 is stopped, and the released state of both parking brakes 13 and 15 is maintained. The release limiting mechanism D mechanically changes from the state shown in FIG. 4 to the state shown in FIG. 5 at the clutch-on time (release limiting operation start time) shown in FIG. Increases, and the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 increases rapidly.
[0040]
By the way, in the actuator, when the release switch SW2 is operated in a state where the cables 17 and 19 are abnormal, the electric motor 11 is driven to rotate backward, and the screw shaft 41 of the conversion mechanism B is rotated backward. However, at this time, immediately after the electric motor 11 is driven in the reverse rotation, the release limiting mechanism D mechanically changes from the state of FIG. 4 to the state of FIG. 5 and is detected by the current sensor S1 as shown in FIG. Current value I does not drop to set value I1.
[0041]
For this reason, even if the timer value T measured by the timer of the microcomputer becomes the second set time T2, the current value I detected by the current sensor S1 does not drop to the set value I1, and the timer value T described above When the second set time T2 is reached, “Yes” is determined in the execution of step 309 in FIG. 8, and then steps 310 and 312 in FIG. 8 and steps 205, 206 and 207 in FIG. 7 are executed. The Thereby, at this time, the abnormality warning lamp L2 is turned on, the indicator lamp L1 is turned off, and the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11 is stopped. Therefore, even when this abnormality occurs, it is possible to notify the occupant of the abnormality of the cables 17 and 19 by turning on the warning lamp L2.
[0042]
As is apparent from the above description, in this embodiment, the release limiting mechanism D provided in the power transmission system connecting the electric motor 11 and the cables 17, 19 is driven by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11. When the axial force fo acting on the screw shaft 41 is equal to or less than a set value (substantially zero) due to the resultant force of the tensions fa and fb acting on 19, the release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11 is performed mechanically. Limit by action. For this reason, when the tensions fa and fb acting on the cables 17 and 19 by the reverse rotation driving of the electric motor 11 become substantially zero, that is, when the parking brakes 13 and 15 are released, the cable 17 by the electric motor 11 is used. , 19 is limited by the mechanical operation of the release limiting mechanism D.
[0043]
Therefore, excessive and unnecessary release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11 can be limited. For this reason, it is possible to improve the responsiveness when the parking brakes 13 and 15 are changed from the released state to the braking state, that is, the responsiveness when the cables 17 and 19 are pulled by the forward rotation of the electric motor 11. . Further, in this embodiment, the release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11 is restricted by the mechanical operation of the release restriction mechanism D, so that the tension acting on the cables 17 and 19 is increased. A sensor for detection and an electric actuator that operates electrically based on the detection value of this sensor are not required and can be implemented at low cost.
[0044]
Further, in this embodiment, the conversion mechanism B is screwed onto the screw shaft 41 using the screw shaft 41 that is movable in the axial direction as the axial direction as the moving direction of the cables 17 and 19 and that can rotate by a predetermined amount as an input element. The release limiting mechanism D includes a fixing ring 61, a spring clutch 62, a rotor 63, a helical output gear 24, and the like. For this reason, the structure of the conversion mechanism B and the release limiting mechanism D included in the power transmission system that connects the electric motor 11 and the cables 17 and 19 can be simplified and implemented at low cost.
[0045]
Further, in this embodiment, when the release limiting mechanism D limits the release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11, the motor stop that stops energization of the electric motor 11 based on the current value I flowing through the electric motor 11. Means (step 311 in FIG. 8, step 206 in FIG. 7, etc.) are provided. For this reason, it is possible to stop energization to the electric motor 11 in conjunction with the release limiting mechanism D restricting the release operation of the cables 17 and 19 by the electric motor 11, and unnecessary energization to the electric motor 11. It is possible to save energy by eliminating
[0046]
Further, in this embodiment, the release limit operation start time of the release limit mechanism D (the clutch on time when the release limit mechanism D mechanically changes from the state of FIG. 4 to the state of FIG. 5) is the reverse rotation of the electric motor 11. An abnormality determining means (step 309 in FIG. 8) is provided for determining whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the cables 17 and 19 based on whether or not the abnormality has occurred within the set time T2 from the start of driving. . For this reason, the warning lamp L2 can be turned on in step 310 based on the abnormality determination of the abnormality determination means (“Yes” determination in step 309), and the passenger can be informed of the abnormality of the cables 17 and 19. It is.
[0047]
In this embodiment, the abnormality of the cables 17 and 19 is represented by the current value I (current value detected by the current sensor S1) flowing through the electric motor 11 and the elapsed time (timer value T counted by the microcomputer timer). Therefore, the present invention can be easily applied to various electric parking brake devices that employ a configuration in which the current value flowing through the electric motor is detected by a current sensor.
