Abstract
Description
【0001】

As catechins, epigallocatechin garade, epicatechin garade, epigallocatechin, epicatechin, (+) catechin and their attribute, free theaflavin, air flavin monogalade A, air flavin mono galade b In addition, air flavin digarade and the like are effective, and can be obtained by extracting components from green tea, black tea, rice cake, and the like.
[0022]
Examples of the antibacterial materials include inorganic compounds that elute metal ions such as silver, copper, and zinc, silver, copper, and zinc metal fine particles, iodine compounds, phenols, quaternary ammonium salts, imidazole compounds, and benzoic acid. Extracts of chemicals such as acids, hydrogen peroxide, cresol, chlorhexidine, irgasan, aldehydes, sorbic acid, enzyme preparations such as lysozyme, cellulase, protease, catechins, bamboo extract, hinoki extract, wasabi extract, mustard extract Natural component extracts such as foods.
[0023]
Examples of the antifungal material include organic nitrogen compounds / sulfur compounds, organic acid esters, organic iodine imidazole compounds, and benzazole compounds.
[0024]
If the amount of material attached to the air purifying filter is too small, functions such as antiallergenic, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties cannot be fully achieved, and if it is too large, the pressure loss of the filter increases and air permeability is increased. As a result, the harmful substances in the air cannot be sufficiently collected, and when mounted on the apparatus, it causes problems such as an increase in power consumption and generation of noise. The amount of attachment to the filter is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 10 g / m 2 , more preferably 1 to 5 g / m 2 .
[0025]
Examples of the method for attaching the material to the filter include a dipping method, a spray method, and a gravure printing method, and can be appropriately selected according to the thickness of the target filter and the wettability of the surface. Filters that apply processing solutions in which materials are dissolved and / or dispersed are filters that cut non-woven fabrics to the desired size, filters that are molded to the desired size by adhesives and heat fusion, and resin honeycomb shapes A filter or the like can be used. The fiber material obtained by immersing the fiber raw material in the treatment liquid and drying may be spun and then processed into a filter shape by braiding.
[0026]
The filter base material to which the material is attached includes organic fibers such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, and polyamide, inorganic fibers such as glass, magnesium silicate, and alumina, natural fibers such as cotton, paper, resin-impregnated paper, etc. However, the material is not particularly limited as long as it does not cause dissolution / deformation by reacting with the treatment liquid. Also, use the same as long as it has continuous pores that allow air to flow, such as foamed resins such as foamed urethane and foamed styrene, foamed metals such as foamed aluminum, foamed titanium, and foamed iron. Is possible.
[0027]
The method for drying the air purifying filter of the present invention may be natural drying, heating, or evaporation of the solvent by reducing the pressure. When the material is an organic material such as a fiber, drying at a high temperature may cause deformation due to shrinkage of the filter fiber or alteration of the material in the treatment liquid, and therefore the temperature is preferably 150 ° C. or less, more preferably 100 ° C. The temperature is as follows. In the case of an inorganic or metallic material, the treatment can be performed at a temperature within a range where the shape of the material can be maintained.
[0028]
When the density of the filter base material of the present invention is not uniform and there are a part with a high porosity and a part with a low porosity, it is desirable to apply the treatment liquid to the high part. Here, the porosity means the weight per unit volume, and the larger the porosity, the larger the gap between the filter fibers. By treating the portion having a high porosity, an increase in pressure loss of the filter can be suppressed, and at the same time, an effect of increasing the collection efficiency of harmful substances can be obtained.
[0029]
Further, by mixing the colorant at the same time when the material is attached, an effect is obtained that the filter can be made into a design having no visual discomfort and having a design freedom in terms of color.
[0030]
As the material used as the colorant, known pigments and dyes can be used. As pigments, organic pigments such as azo, polyazo, anthraquinone, quinacridone, isoindoline, isoindolinone, phthalocyanine, perylene, DPP, fluorescent pigment, carbon black, synthetic silica, oxidation Examples thereof include inorganic pigments such as chromium, iron oxide, titanium oxide, calcined pigment, and zinc sulfide. Examples of the dye include alcohol-soluble dyes, oil-soluble dyes, fluorescent dyes, and light-collecting dyes.
[0031]
For the air purifying filter of the present invention, an attachment filter having the above-described effects may be used alone, or a finer dust collecting filter may be provided at a later stage. When a finer dust collection filter is used in the latter stage, each can be bonded to give strength to the filter. When the attachment filter and the dust collection filter are in physical contact with each other by passing air, they may be simply overlapped.
[0032]
The treatment liquid in which the raw material used for producing the air cleaning filter of the present invention is dissolved and / or dispersed may be any, but when the raw material contains both a water-soluble material and a water-insoluble material It is desirable to use a treatment solution prepared by dissolving and / or dispersing in a mixed solvent of water and cellosolves and / or carbitols. By using a mixed solvent of water and cellosolves and / or carbitols, a precipitate is generated when water-soluble materials and cellosolves solvents and / or carbitols or water-insoluble materials and water are mixed. However, it is possible to prepare a treatment liquid in which a water-soluble material and a water-insoluble material are dissolved and / or dispersed. Examples of cellosolves include ethyl cellosolve, butyl cellosolve, cellosolve acetate, etc., those having an alkyl group are preferred, and butyl cellosolve having a butyl group is particularly preferred. Examples of the carbitols include methyl carbitol, ethyl carbitol, butyl carbitol, butyl carbitol acetate, carbitol acetate, carbitol acetate, and the like, those having an alkyl group are preferable, and butyl carbitol having a butyl group is particularly preferable. Is preferred.
[0033]
The air purification filter manufactured as described above is used by being disposed between an air inlet and an outlet of an air cleaner, a ventilator, a humidifier, a warmer, or the like. With these devices, it is possible to obtain the action of purifying indoor air and preventing virus infection such as mycosis, bacterial infection and influenza.
[0034]
In addition, by installing the filter manufactured as described above in part of the mask or in the entire ventilation section, it is possible to prevent inhalation of airborne harmful substances such as mites, pollen, bacteria, mold, and viruses into the human body. The effect of preventing viral infections such as infections, bacterial infections and influenza can be obtained.

【Example】
EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although an Example demonstrates this invention in detail, this invention is limited to the following description and is not interpreted at all.
[0036]
(Example 1)
Application of the treatment liquid to the filter and the filter of the polyester nonwoven fabric were immersed in an ethanol solution of dried polyvinylphenol. The filter was pulled up from the treatment liquid and dried at room temperature, 100 ° C., 150 ° C., and 200 ° C., respectively. In room temperature drying, it took about 4 hours until the filter surface was touched by hand and the solution did not adhere. In the case of drying at 100 ° C., the same dry state was obtained in 15 minutes. When dried at 150 ° C., the same dry state was obtained in 10 minutes, but discoloration was partially observed. At 200 ° C., the filter discolored and contracted in 10 minutes. Similar results were obtained when a honeycomb filter made of polypropylene was used.
[0037]
The treated filter was spray-coated with an aqueous solution in which catechin and an organic nitrogen-based antifungal agent were dissolved to prepare an antibacterial / antifungal / antiallergen / antiviral filter.
[0038]
(Example 2)
Evaluation of antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antiallergen performance of the filter The effect of the filter prepared in Example 1 on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was examined. When a bacterial solution at a level of 10 5 cells / ml was brought into contact with the filter and the number of bacteria after 24 hours was examined, no bacteria were detected. When the same test was conducted with an untreated filter, no decrease in the number of bacteria was observed.
[0039]
The effect of the filter prepared in Example 1 on mold was examined. The above antibacterial / antifungal / antiallergen / antiviral filter was placed on a test medium coated with a blue mold spore suspension and cultured at room temperature for 7 days. Areas where mold did not grow (inhibition circles) were observed around and on the filter after culture. When the same test was conducted with an untreated filter, mold grew on the medium and the filter.
[0040]
The effect of the filter prepared in Example 1 on viruses was examined. A test solution containing 10 7 pieces / ml influenza virus was applied to the filter and stored for 6 hours in a sealed state to prevent drying, and then the virus solution was recovered from the filter. When the infectivity of the virus to cells was measured, a decrease in infectivity of two orders of magnitude or more was observed. The untreated filter showed a slight decrease in infectivity, which seems to be a natural decrease.
[0041]
The anti-allergen performance of the filter prepared in Example 1 was examined. Dust dust containing mite allergens collected from vacuum cleaner waste was placed on a filter and stored for 24 hours. Thereafter, when allergenicity was evaluated using a mite allergen detection kit (product name: Tickscan) manufactured by Asahi Breweries, a decrease in allergenicity was observed. In the case of the untreated filter and dust, a result showing high allergenicity was obtained.
[0042]
Example 3
Application of treatment liquid to filter and measurement of pressure loss Polyvinylphenol ethanol solution was sprayed on polypropylene fiber and dried at 100 ° C. for 15 minutes to produce an air cleaning filter. Air was passed through the air purification filter at various speeds, and pressure loss and dust collection efficiency were measured. As is apparent from Table 1, the pressure loss and the dust collection efficiency were slightly increased by attaching polyvinylphenol to the filter as compared with the untreated filter.
[0043]
[Table 1]
[0044]
(Example 4)
Application of treatment liquid to the filter and measurement of pressure loss Fiber has a dense shape (low porosity) Dust collection filter used to increase dust collection efficiency and fiber is sparse (high porosity) However, polyvinylphenol was impregnated in the same manner as in Example 3 on a filter (with a sparse back surface) on which a dust collection filter having excellent strength was bonded. The dust collection efficiency at an air flow rate of 0.5 m / s was measured for the air purifying filters attached in various total amounts and directions. The results are shown in FIG. As is clear from FIG. 1, the dust collection efficiency increased as the total amount of deposition increased. At this time, the filter in which the treatment liquid was attached to the surface having a large porosity of the dust collection filter medium was superior in the dust collection efficiency as compared to the filter attached to the surface having a small porosity.
