本発明は、天井埋め込み型空気調和機に係わり、フィルタ上のごみを自動的に清掃するフィルタ清掃機能に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の空気調和機は、図3に示すようにフィルタ13をユーザーの手によって本体の前面パネル7から抜き出して洗浄し、再度ユーザーの手によって本体の前面パネルの内側に挿入していた。(例えば特許文献1参照)
一方、フィルタの清掃が容易な空気調和機のエアフィルタ装置として図4に示すようにフィルタブラシ40を、回転ブラシと、回転ブラシを下方から覆うブラシカバー43とで構成する。回転ブラシの両端部にはピニオン42を設ける。

また、ブラシカバー43には吸引口45を設ける。一方、ラック状に形成された支持レール50を、吹出口16の両側部に1本ずつ設ける。フィルタブラシ40を、ピニオン42と支持レール50とが係合するように設ける。そして、フィルタブラシ40を動かすと回転ブラシが回転し、エアフィルタ17からほこり等を除去する。また、エアフィルタ17から除去されたほこり等を吸引口45から掃除機のノズル等で吸引して排出するといったものがあった。(例えば特許文献2参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、空気調和機が通常は部屋の高所に設置されていることから、高齢者や女性にとってフィルタの着脱が高所作業となって困難を極めたり、フィルタを洗浄する作業自体が敬遠されやすいという問題があった。特に天井に埋め込まれたタイプにおいては非常な手間と労力を要する。

また、掃除機のノズル等を使っての労力や時間に負担がかかるといった問題があり、また、定期的にメンテナンスがなされなかった場合は、フィルタに塵埃が堆積し、吸い込み空気の通風抵抗が増大するため空気調和機の性能が低下し、消費電力が増大するという課題があった。

本発明はこのような従来の課題を解決するものであり、フィルタ上のごみを自動的に清掃するフィルタ清浄機能付の天井埋め込み型空気調和機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明の天井埋め込み型空気調和機は、天井板内に吊り下げ固定され、前記天井板に設けられた開口部に吸い込み口と吹き出し口を臨ませ、吸い込み口と吹き出し口とをむすぶ空気通路にフィルタと熱交換器と送風ファンとをそれぞれ設けるとともに、前期フィルタ上のごみを除去するごみ除去手段と、同ごみ除去手段により除去されたごみを収納するごみ収納部とからなる天井埋め込み型空気調和機であって、前記ごみ除去手段として前記フィルタ上を移動するごみ吸引部と吸引送風機を連結する吸引ダクトで構成している。

図1および図2は本実施例にかかる天井埋め込み型空気調和機のフィルタ清掃装置の構造を示すものである。

図1および図2において、1は吸い込み口と吹き出し口が同面上にある化粧パネル、2は空気中のごみを取り除くフィルタ、ごみ除去手段として3はごみ吸引部で、前記ごみ吸引部3は複数のノズル穴6とブラシ5からなる構成になっている。4はごみ吸引部3を誘導する固定レールである。7はごみ吸引部3と連結する吸い込みダクトで他端は伸縮自在な吸い込みダクト8とも連結している。9は伸縮自在な吸い込みダクトと連結している送風機で、前記送風機9の吹き出し側は10のごみ収納部と連結している。

空気調和時、室内の空気は前記化粧パネル1の吸い込み口を通り前記フィルタ2にて空気中のごみを取る。ごみ除去手段として、フィルタ2に付着したごみは定期的に作動する送風機9に連動したごみ吸引部3によって回収される。その際ごみ吸引部3は固定レール4に沿って、フィルタ2全面を清掃する。ごみ吸引部3の移動方向は上下方向、左右方向どちらでもどちらでも良い。

フィルタ2のごみは移動するごみ吸引部3に設けられたブラシ5でかき集められた後、ノズル穴6に吸引される。ノズル穴6とブラシ5が交互に設置されているため、ブラシ5でフィルタ2から離れたごみはすぐノズル穴6に吸引され、効率的に清掃される。ノズル穴6とブラシ5の位置関係は常に隣り合わせ成るように設置されてもよいし、並列に2列に設置されても良い。

回収されたごみは、吸引ダクト7を通り、伸縮自在な吸引ダクト8を介して送風機9に吸い込まれる。その際吸引ダクト8は伸縮自在なので、ごみ吸引部3の動きに応じて伸縮する。これにより、より広い範囲にごみ吸引部3を動かすことが出来、ごみを採集する事が出来る。

送風機9に吸い込まれたごみは、その後連結しているごみ収納部10に送り込まれ、そこで、回収・収納される。ごみ収納部10は着脱可能としている。

ごみがいっぱいになると、センサーが働き、お知らせ機能が働き、その後ごみ収納部10だけがはずされ、ごみは処分される。その後空になったごみ収納部10は元の位置に着けられる。なお、前記ごみ吸引部3および吸引ダクト7,8およびごみ収納部10の少なくとも一部に抗菌処理が内部に施している構成になっているため、いつまでも清潔な状態で使用できる。

本発明の天井埋め込み型空気調和機における吸引ダクト7、吸引ダクト8、送風機9、ごみ収納部10は、パネル1内のフィルタ2の外側スペースに設けられているため、最小限の通風抵抗に抑えることができ、送風性能に影響せず、かつ、パネル1および本体12の寸法も大きくしなくても良い構成になっている。なおこのごみ除去手段であるシステム(吸引ダクト7,8、送風機9、ごみ収納部10)は、熱交換器11がある本体12側に設けられても良い。

上記から明らかなように、本願発明によれば、フィルタ上のごみを自動的に清潔出来るようにし、かつそのごみ除去手段であるシステムを低通風抵抗かつコンパクトに構成した天井埋め込み型空気調和機となる。
