TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cold-air helmet having a function of supplying cool air. In particular, cold air helmets that supply cool air and provide workers with comfort when used for long periods of time in places with a high ambient temperature, such as iron making, casting, forging, various heat treatments, tunnel excavation, various operations under the scorching sun, etc. About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A cold-air helmet is used in a high-temperature atmosphere to reduce sweating and fatigue of a wearer and improve workability.
[0003]
Some of such cold-air helmets include a back-bag-type rechargeable air conditioner (for example, see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-55401). In this example, cool air generated by a refrigerant vaporizing air conditioner is guided to the rear part of the helmet main body through a duct, and cools the back of the helmet. In some cases, a fan driven by a battery is provided at the top of the helmet body (see Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-42928). In this example, the warm air in the helmet body is released to the outside by the rotation of the fan. Further, there is a vehicle equipped with a helmet main body and a cool air supply device separately provided from the main body (see Japanese Patent Publication No. 5-168724 (Patent Document 3)). The cold air supply device is placed at a location away from the wearer and is connected to the helmet body by a hose.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the cold wind helmets disclosed in Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 3 described above, a device for generating and supplying cold wind is large and heavy. For this reason, in the case of the back capsule type of Patent Document 1, a burden is imposed on the wearer. Further, in the method in which the device is installed at a position away from the wearer and the cool air is supplied through a hose as in Patent Document 3, the distance between the device and the helmet is limited, so that the range of action of the wearer is narrow. Become.
Further, in the cold-air helmet disclosed in Patent Document 2, the temperature of the air sucked into the helmet body by the rotation of the fan is the ambient temperature, and it cannot be said that sufficient cooling capacity is provided.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to provide a cold-air helmet that is small and lightweight and can supply cold air at a temperature lower than the ambient temperature.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a cold-air helmet according to the present invention includes a helmet body that covers a person's head, a Peltier element attached to a rear part of the helmet body, ), A H-plane fan that blasts the high-temperature side (H-plane) of the Peltier element, and a cool air duct that guides the wind that blasts the C-plane fan to the forehead. It is characterized by having.
By using the cold heat generation action of the Peltier element to supply the generated cold heat to the forehead, it is possible to provide a cold-air helmet that provides a high cooling effect. Further, the mechanism for generating cool air can be reduced in weight and size as compared with a conventional refrigerant vaporizing air conditioner or the like.
[0008]
In the present invention, a plate-shaped meandering thin tube heat pipe partially adhered to the C-plane and extending in the longitudinal direction of the cold air duct; and a fin standing on the heat pipe and receiving wind from the C-plane fan And a plate-shaped meandering thin-tube heat pipe partially adhered to the H-plane; and fins standing on the heat pipe and receiving the wind of the H-plane fan. .
By using the plate-shaped meandering thin tube heat pipe and the fins, the heat generated by the Peltier device can be more efficiently transmitted to the cold air, and the H surface of the device can be sufficiently cooled, so that the cooling performance of the device itself can be improved. Can be
[0009]
In the present invention, further comprising a face shield connected to a front portion of the helmet main body and covering a user's face, the wind guided from the cold air duct to the forehead, the face shield and the face And flows through the space between the helmet body and the side of the face to the H-plane of the Peltier element.
The rotation of each fan creates a flow of cool air within the helmet body, cooling the wearer's head and face and providing comfort. Further, by using the cool air that has passed through the head or face of a person to cool the Peltier element, it is possible to utilize the remaining cold heat to increase the cooling capacity of the Peltier element.

A heat pipe is a type of radiator having high heat transfer performance, and is a device in which a closed fluid inside a hollow body is evacuated, and then a working fluid such as water, butane, or alcohol is sealed therein. In a plate-shaped meandering thin tube heat pipe, this heat pipe is arranged in a plate of aluminum or the like so as to meander between a heat receiving portion and a heat radiating portion. The heat transmitted from the heating element (warm heat) to the heat receiving portion evaporates the working fluid in the pipe of the same portion. The generated steam moves to a heat radiating portion of the heat pipe, where the steam radiates heat and returns to a liquid. The heat of the heating element is radiated by the phase change and movement of the working fluid in the closed space. When the heating element generates cold heat, the working fluid reverses the phase and moves, and radiates the cold heat in the heat radiating portion.
[0014]
Such a meandering thin tube heat pipe is disclosed, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-190090.
This heat pipe has the following characteristics.
(A) Both ends of the pore are connected to each other in a freely circulating manner and are sealed (closed loop type).
(B) Part of the pores is a heat receiving part, and the other part is a heat radiating part.
(C) The heat receiving portions and the heat radiating portions are alternately arranged, and the pores meander between both portions.
(D) A two-phase condensable fluid (working fluid) is sealed in the pores.
(E) The inner wall of the pore has a diameter equal to or less than the maximum diameter at which the working fluid can circulate or move while always closing the hole.

This cold-air helmet 1 is also suitable as a helmet for automobile racing as another use. Since a racing car is not equipped with an air conditioner to reduce the weight of the body, the driver will drive for a long time in a narrow high-temperature atmosphere. There is also an advantage that a DC power supply of the automobile itself can be used as a power supply for the Peltier element and each fan.
