本発明は、ベルトコンベア等の搬送ベルトに付着したゴミ、泥、土砂、鉱石の粉末、殻粉、セメント等の化学製品の粉粒物、スラッジ等の付着物を掻き取るためのベルトクリーナ装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、ベルトコンベア等の搬送ベルトの表面に付着した付着物を掻き取るためにベルトクリーナ装置が用いられている。一般にベルトクリーナ装置は、ベルトコンベアのフレーム等に固定される軸受部に両端部を軸支され搬送ベルトの幅方向に横架された支持ロッドと、支持ロッドに塊状の弾性体等を介して固定された支持板と、支持板の上端に固定され搬送ベルトの表面に当接する掻き取り部と、を備え、掻き取り部を搬送ベルト表面に圧接して、搬送ベルトの回転に伴って表面の付着物を掻き取るものである。

ところで、搬送ベルトは主に幅方向中央部に搬送物を載せて搬送するため、搬送ベルトの幅方向中央部に付着物が付着し易く、このため、掻き取り部は搬送ベルトの中央部に圧接された部分が両端部より磨耗し易い。したがって、上記のようなベルトクリーナ装置では、この偏った磨耗により中央部の搬送ベルトと掻き取り部との間に隙間が生じ、十分に付着物が掻き取られないことがあった。
このような問題点を解決するために、従来、搬送ベルトの幅方向に分割した複数の掻き取り爪を有するベルトクリーナ装置が用いられていた。このようなベルトクリーナ装置において、複数の掻き取り爪は支持板の代わりに各々の掻き取り部に対応して独立した支持アームに各々支持されており、支持アームと支持ロッドとを連結する塊状の弾性体等も同様に独立して複数設けられ、各掻き取り爪毎に搬送ベルトに沿わせて磨耗に追従できるようにして掻き取り効果の低下を防止していた。

また、他の形態のベルトクリーナ装置としては、特許文献1に、搬送ベルトの幅方向に掻き取り部を圧接して、搬送ベルトの付着物を掻き取り除去するベルトクリーナ装置において、搬送ベルトの幅方向全長に亘って、ゴム製のクリーナ板を、その長さ方向上縁が搬送ベルトに圧接状態として設け、そのクリーナ板の上縁に、その長さ方向中央から両側に所要長さに亘って、耐磨耗性材からなるクリーナ片を、クリーナ板と上縁面一となるように埋め込み接合して、そのクリーナ片上縁とその両側のクリーナ板の上縁で掻き取り部をなしたことを特徴とするベルトクリーナ装置が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来のベルトクリーナ装置では、以下のような課題を有していた。
(1)複数の掻き取り爪が各々支持アームに支持されたベルトクリーナ装置では、掻き取り爪の搬送ベルトへの取り付け角度が適当でない場合や、搬送ベルトの表面に比較的大きな或いは極度に硬化した付着物が付着していた場合等に、掻き取り爪に大きな力が加わり、支持アームが搬送ベルトの搬送方向に折れ曲がり、折れ曲がった支持アームに固定された掻き取り爪のブレード部が搬送ベルトの表面に食い込んで搬送ベルトを傷めるという課題を有していた。
(2)また、搬送ベルトは搬送ベルトを支えるキャリアローラや駆動ローラ、従動ローラ等の影響、或いは搬送ベルト上の搬送物の偏り等により微小に蛇行する場合があり、搬送ベルトが急激に蛇行した場合に掻き取り爪に搬送ベルトの幅方向に力が加わり、隣接する掻き取り爪同士が重なったり搬送ベルトに巻き込まれたりして支持アームが折れ曲がり搬送ベルトを傷めるという課題を有していた。
(3)特許文献1のベルトクリーナ装置では、クリーナ片がクリーナ板に加硫、焼き付けにより埋め込み接合されているため、クリーナ片をクリーナ板から取り外すことができず、クリーナ片のみを交換、メンテナンスすることができないためメンテナンス性に欠け、例えば一のクリーナ片が磨耗した場合クリーナ板ごと交換する必要があるため、省力性及び省コスト性に欠けるという課題を有していた。
(4)特許文献1のベルトクリーナ装置では、クリーナ片をクリーナ板に加硫、焼き付けにより埋め込み接合してクリーナ板を形成しているため、製造コストが高騰し生産性及び省コスト性に欠けると共に、加硫、焼き付けにより埋め込み接合では強度が低く、付着物の付着状態によってはクリーナ片に大きな力が加わりクリーナ片がクリーナ板から外れ易いという課題を有していた。
(5)特許文献1のベルトクリーナ装置では、クリーナ片及びクリーナ板の上縁部の搬送ベルトへの取り付け角度が略0°であるため、クリーナ片が少しでも磨耗するとクリーナ板の側面が搬送ベルトに面接触するため掻き取り効果が著しく低下するという課題を有していた。
(6)また、通常土砂、鉱石の粉末や殻粉、セメント等の粉粒物を搬送するベルトコンベアでは、搬送物が大量の場合であっても搬送ベルトの両側部からの落下を防ぐために、搬送ベルトは下部側からキャリアローラに支持され両側部では外側に向かって湾曲している。しかしながら、特許文献1のベルトクリーナ装置では、この搬送ベルトの両側部の湾曲を考慮しておらず、搬送ベルトの両側部の湾曲にクリーナ片及びクリーナ板の上縁部が十分密着しないため搬送ベルトの両側部の掻き取り効果が著しく低下し実用性に欠けるという課題を有していた。

本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するもので、搬送ベルトを傷つけることなく安全性に優れると共に、掻き取り部の交換やメンテナンスが容易で省力性に優れ、且つ掻き取り部のブレード部や搬送ベルト表面が部分的に磨耗した場合であっても掻き取り部を磨耗分に追従させて搬送ベルトに密着させ付着物を確実に掻き取ることができるベルトクリーナ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明のベルトクリーナ装置は以下の構成を有している。
本発明の請求項1に記載のベルトクリーナ装置は、搬送ベルトの幅方向の両側部に配設されベルトコンベアのフレーム等に固定される軸受部と、前記軸受部に両端部を軸支された支持ロッドと、前記支持ロッドに立設固定された支持プレートと、前記支持プレートの上端部にプレート装着部を介して脱着自在に装着され前記搬送ベルトの表面に対面して配設される板状弾性体と、前記板状弾性体の上端部の前記搬送ベルト側の面に沿って脱着自在に固定された固定部と前記固定部の上端部に略直角に立設されたブレード部とを有する断面略L字形状に形成され、前記搬送ベルトの表面に前記ブレード部が当接するように前記板状弾性体の上端部に直列に並設された複数の掻き取り爪からなる掻き取り部と、を備えた構成を有している。

この構成により、以下のような作用を有する。
(1)複数の掻き取り爪が板状弾性体の上端部の搬送ベルト側の面に直列に並設されているので、搬送ベルトが急激に蛇行した場合であっても隣り合う掻き取り爪同士が重なることがなく、絡まって搬送ベルトを傷つけることなく安全性に優れる。
(2)掻き取り部を支持する板状弾性体が天然ゴムや合成ゴム製又は合成樹脂製等の一枚板で形成されているため、板状弾性体に急激に大きな力が加わった場合であっても、その弾性力により衝撃を緩和させることができ、折れ曲がって破損することがなく耐久性に優れる。
(3)板状弾性体が天然ゴムや合成ゴム製又は合成樹脂製等の一枚板で形成されると共に複数の掻き取り爪が各々独立して並設されているため、ブレード部や搬送ベルトの表面の磨耗により生じた隙間を埋めるように各々の掻き取り爪を搬送ベルトに追従させ密着させることができる。また、ブレード部や搬送ベルトの表面は均一に磨耗せず中央部が磨耗し易く、さらに中央部においても磨耗部分にムラがでるが、板状弾性体の弾性力により各々の掻き取り爪を搬送ベルトに密着させることができるので、付着物の掻き取りムラをなくし掻き取り性を向上させることができる。
(4)板状弾性体が天然ゴムや合成ゴム製又は合成樹脂製等の一枚板で形成されているので、搬送ベルトの表面に付着物が固着している場合に掻き取り部を搬送ベルトから離れる方向に逃すことができ、掻き取り部の引っ掛かりがなく搬送ベルトを傷めることなく安全性に優れる。
(5)板状弾性体に特別な加工を施す必要がなく、板状弾性体の上端部に穿孔するだけでボルトナット等による螺着やピン止め等により掻き取り部を固定することができるので、板状弾性体の製造が容易であり、或いは汎用品を簡単な加工で用いることができるので生産性及び省コスト性に優れる。
(6)各々の掻き取り爪が板状弾性体に脱着自在に固定されると共にプレート装着部を介して板状弾性体が支持プレートに脱着自在に配設されているので、掻き取り部が磨耗した場合等に掻き取り部の交換やメンテナンス等を行う場合、板状弾性体を支持プレートから取り外し、別の場所に運んでその場所で各々掻き取り爪を板状弾性体から取り外して交換やメンテナンスを行うことができ交換作業が容易で省力性及びメンテナンス性に優れる。
(7)掻き取り爪が断面略L字形状に形成され、掻き取り爪のブレード部或いはその先端のクリーナ片が搬送ベルトの表面に略直角に当接するため、ブレード部が磨耗しても搬送ベルトの表面に線接触を維持でき磨耗による掻き取り効果の低下を防止することができる。
(8)複数の掻き取り爪が板状弾性体の上端部の搬送ベルト側の面に直列に並設されているので、搬送ベルトの両側部等が湾曲している場合であっても、板状弾性体が搬送ベルトの湾曲部分に沿って湾曲するので、搬送ベルトの湾曲に掻き取り爪を追随させ十分密着させて圧接させることができ搬送ベルトの湾曲に付着物が付着した場合であっても確実に掻き取ることができ実用性に優れる。

ここで、板状弾性体としては、天然ゴム、合成ゴム等のゴムや合成樹脂、バネ鋼等により形成され、掻き取り部等を固定するためのボルトの挿通孔等のみが穿孔された一枚板が用いられる。これにより、板状弾性体の製造や掻き取り部を固定するための加工が容易であり生産性及び省コスト性に優れる。なお、搬送ベルトに付着した付着物が柔らかい場合等や小型のベルトコンベアに対しては、ゴム等の比較的軟質の材料により形成された板状弾性体を用いることが好ましく、搬送ベルトに付着した付着物が硬い場合等や大型のベルトコンベアに対しては、合成樹脂等の比較的硬質の材料により形成された板状弾性体を用いることが好ましい。特に、ゴム等により形成された板状弾性体を用いた場合、事故等により板状弾性体が折れ曲がって破損した場合であっても破断面等により搬送ベルトを傷つけることがなく安全性に優れる。また、板状弾性体を耐食性を有する合成樹脂により形成した場合、耐久性に優れる。
掻き取り爪は、そのブレード部の先端が搬送ベルトに当接して付着物を掻き取るように構成してもよく、或いはブレード部の先端にクリーナ片を溶着等により固定しクリーナ片により付着物を掻き取るように構成してもよい。いずれにしてもその材質は、搬送ベルトに付着した付着物の種類やその付着状態により適宜選択されることが好ましいが、セラミック等の超硬質且つ耐磨耗性の材質により形成されることが好ましい。これにより付着物を確実に掻き取ると共に磨耗し難く耐久性に優れる。
また、掻き取り爪が各々板状弾性体の上端部の搬送ベルト側の面にボルトナット等により螺着固定されている場合は、掻き取り爪を強固に固定することができると共に脱着自在であるので容易に交換できメンテナンス性に優れる。なお、掻き取り部を複数の掻き取り爪で構成し、各々を板状弾性体の上端部に直列並設し搬送ベルト側の面に螺着固定しているので、長期の使用によっても隣接する掻き取り爪の間に隙間が生じることがなく搬送ベルトの表面を漏れなく確実に掻き取ることができると共に搬送ベルト表面を掻き取り爪の端部の角で傷つけることを防ぐことができる。

(1)支持プレートを挿入するプレート挿入部と、挿入した状態で抜け止めする装着部固定部を有しているので、支持プレートに板状弾性体を装着することができると共に抜け止めすることができ、板状弾性体を支持プレートに強固に固定することができる。また、支持プレートから板状弾性体を取り外す場合は、装着部固定部の固定を解除することで板状弾性体を容易に取り外すことができ、交換時やメンテナンス時の省力性に優れる。

支持ロッド4は長尺状のパイプ等により形成され、両端部を軸受部2a、2bにより回動自在に軸支されている。支持ロッド4はウエイト用レバー部9を介してウエイト18の重量により掻き取り部8を搬送ベルトBに圧接させる方向に回転付勢されている。
支持プレート5は、板状に形成された鉄、ステンレス等の金属板製で補強部材5aと共に支持ロッド4に熔接等で固定されている。
板状弾性体6としては、天然ゴムや合成ゴム製又は合成樹脂製の一枚板で、ゴム硬度が75度〜95度のものを用いることが好ましい。これにより、掻き取り部8のブレード部8bを所定の当接角度で搬送ベルトBに当接させ支持することができると共に、ブレード部8bの先端のクリーナ片8dや搬送ベルトBの表面が部分的に磨耗した場合であっても、磨耗により生じた部分的な隙間を埋めるように各々の掻き取り爪8cを板状弾性体6の弾性力で搬送ベルトBに付勢し圧接することができる。ゴム硬度が75度より小さくなると掻き取り部8の搬送ベルトBへの当接圧を大きくした場合に板状弾性体6が大きく曲がり、ブレード部8bの搬送ベルトBへの当接角度が変化する傾向があり、ゴム硬度が95度より大きくなると板状弾性体6の弾性作用が小さくなり、磨耗により生じた部分的な隙間に追従しなくなったり搬送ベルトB上の硬化した付着物等に柔軟に対応できなくなったりする傾向にあり、いずれも好ましくない。なお、本実施の形態1においてはゴム硬度が90度程度で厚さ1cm程度の合成ゴム板を用いたが、搬送ベルトBの材質や付着した付着物の種類等により適宜選択されることが好ましい。
また、板状弾性体6の両端部には延設部6a,6bが形成され、板状弾性体6の搬送ベルトBの幅方向の長さは掻き取り部8の幅方向の長さより長く形成されている。これにより、掻き取り部8の両端部における弾性力を中央部と同等にすることができ、掻き取り部8の全体を搬送ベルトBの表面に密着させることができる。
掻き取り部8を構成する掻き取り爪8cは、各々板状弾性体6の上端部の搬送ベルトB側の面に沿って固定される固定部8aと、固定部8aの上端部に略直角に立設されたブレード部8bとを有する断面略L字形状に形成されている。なお、本実施の形態1においては、ブレード部8bの先端部にセラミック等の超硬質且つ耐磨耗性の材質により形成されたクリーナ片8dが配設されている。また、板状弾性体6の両側部に配設された掻き取り爪8cの幅は、中央部に配設された掻き取り爪8cの幅のより小さく形成されている。
ウエイト載置部17に載置されるウエイト18の重量は、搬送ベルトBの材質や強度、搬送ベルトBに付着した付着物の種類や状態等により適宜設定されることが好ましい。本実施の形態1においては、ウエイト18の重量を5kgに設定し、掻き取り部8が搬送ベルトBの表面に20kgで圧接するようにした。また、レバー吊り下げ部15には、その長手方向に所定間隔で複数のレバー軸着位置調整孔15aが穿設され、その内の一つにウエイト用レバー部9が軸着されている。

以上のように本発明のベルトクリーナ装置によれば、以下のような有利な効果が得られる。
