Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0041】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsion composition, and more particularly to an improvement in its usability.
[0002]
[Prior art]
BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, powders have been added to cosmetics to impart functions such as coloring skin and hair, hiding spots and freckles, protecting skin from ultraviolet rays, and absorbing sweat and sebum. In particular, since the oil-in-water emulsion composition has a good feel and multifunctionality, it is blended with a powder to be applied to various cosmetics, for example, an emulsion-type foundation, an ultraviolet protection milky lotion / cream and the like. I have.
[0003]
On the other hand, in recent years, hydrophobized powder has been used for the purpose of improving the adhesion of the powder to the skin or imparting water resistance.
However, one problem is that an oil-in-water emulsion composition containing a hydrophobized powder has sufficient stability as a product. Therefore, studies are being made to prevent coalescence of emulsified particles and aggregation and sedimentation of fine powder particles due to aging, temperature change, and the like (Japanese Patent Publication No. 7-94366, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 8-310940). However, there was room for further improvement in its stability.
[0004]
In order to ensure the stability of the oil-in-water emulsifying base, it is very important to thicken the continuous phase with a thickener. The method of thickening by electrostatic repulsion of carboxyvinyl polymer etc. has a high thickening effect and is good with no sticky feeling, but if a hydrophobized powder that can not ignore the effect of ion elution is blended, the viscosity will decrease. Alternatively, a problem of gelation may occur. Therefore, when a hydrophobized powder or the like is blended, a thickening method using a polysaccharide having excellent salt resistance is preferred.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the polysaccharide has a slightly weaker viscosity than the carboxyvinyl polymer or the like, and it needs to be blended in a relatively large amount in order to exhibit the thickening effect, which may cause stickiness. In addition, the oil-in-water emulsion composition containing the polysaccharide sometimes dries when applied to the skin. In particular, when the hydrophobized powder is included, the interaction between the polysaccharide and the hydrophobized powder increases the warpage. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain a material that has a good feel and stably holds the powder, and a solution has been desired.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such problems of the related art, and an object of the present invention is to provide an oil-in-water emulsion composition that can provide a comfortable feeling of use without stickiness and that does not occur when dried. It is in.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to achieve the above object, and as a result, by using succinoglucan as a thickener, stickiness is eliminated, and by further plasticizing this succinoglucan, The inventor has found that the distortion is eliminated, and has completed the present invention.
[0008]
That is, the subject of the present invention is succinoglucan,
Glycerin, polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside, one or more plasticizers selected from polyethylene glycol 20000,
Hydrophobized powder,
Including
It is an oil-in-water emulsion composition in which the amount of succinoglucan is 0.05 to 2% by mass.
[0009]
In the oil-in-water emulsion composition, it is preferable that the blending amount of the plasticizer is 1 to 40% by mass.
In the oil-in-water emulsion composition, it is preferable that the hydrophobized powder is hydrophobized titanium oxide and / or hydrophobized zinc oxide.
[0010]

[0013]
Succinoglucan Succinoglucan blended in the composition of the present invention is a kind of polysaccharide derived from microorganisms, in addition to saccharide units derived from galactose and glucose, succinic acid and pyruvic acid and A polysaccharide derived from a microorganism containing a unit derived from acetic acid or a salt thereof as an optional component is meant.
[0014]
More specifically, succinoglucan has the following structural formula with an average molecular weight of about 6 million, with galactose units: 1, glucose units: 7, succinic acid units: 0.8, and pyruvic acid units: 1, It is a water-soluble polymer that may contain an optional acetic acid unit.
[0015]
Embedded image
(In the formula, Gluc represents a glucose unit, Galac represents a galactose unit, and the notation in parentheses represents a binding mode between sugar units. For example, (β1,4) represents a β1-4 bond.)
[0016]
Examples of the microorganism serving as a source of the succinoglucan include bacteria belonging to the genera Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, Alcaligenes or Agrobacterium. Among these bacteria, Agrobacterium tumefaciens I-736, a bacterium belonging to the genus Agrobacterium (deposited with the Collection Organization of Microbial Culture Parties on March 1, 1988 according to the Budapest Treaty, and designated by the number I-736) Publicly available) are particularly preferred as a source of succinoglucan.
[0017]
Succinoglucan can be produced by culturing these microorganisms in a medium. More specifically, carbon sources such as glucose, sucrose and starch hydrolysates; organic nitrogen sources such as casein, caseinate, vegetable powder, yeast extract and corn steep liquor; metal sulfates, phosphates, and carbonates It can be produced by culturing the above microorganism in a medium containing inorganic salts such as salts and optional trace elements.
[0018]
The succinoglucan thus produced can be added to the composition of the present invention as it is, and if necessary, decomposition products such as acid decomposition, alkali decomposition, enzymatic decomposition, and ultrasonic treatment are used. Can be similarly blended.
[0019]
In general, when a polysaccharide is used as a thickener, it is necessary to mix a relatively large amount of the polysaccharide in order to exhibit a thickening effect, so that stickiness may occur. However, the composition of the present invention has improved tackiness by using succinoglucan as a thickener among polysaccharides.
[0020]
However, succinoglucan is a rigid, straight-chain polymer, and a composition containing the succinoglucan forms a hard film after drying on the skin, so that succinoglucan is likely to be twisted. In particular, when used in combination with the hydrophobized powder, the succinoglucan entrains the hydrophobized powder, thereby increasing the warpage. Therefore, by plasticizing the succinoglucan, the succinoglucan is prevented from being twisted (FIG. 1).
[0021]
Plasticizer As the plasticizer in the composition of the present invention, glycerin, polyoxyethylene ethylene methyl glucoside and polyethylene glycol 20,000 are preferably used. These plasticizers can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0022]
The amount of succinoglucan in the composition according to the present invention is preferably 0.05 to 2% by mass based on the whole composition.
If the compounding amount of succinoglucan is less than 0.05% by mass of the whole composition, the viscosity increase is not sufficient, and it may be difficult to stably compound the hydrophobized powder. Further, if the content exceeds 2% by mass, the effect cannot be expected to be improved in proportion to the increase in the content, and stickiness occurs, which is not preferable.
[0023]
The amount of the plasticizer in the composition according to the present invention is preferably 1 to 40% by weight based on the whole composition.
If the blending amount of the plasticizer is less than 1% by mass of the whole composition, it may not be possible to prevent twisting. Even if the blending amount exceeds 40% by mass, the effect of the blending amount is increased. Improvement cannot be expected, and it is not preferable in composition construction.
[0024]
When the composition of the present invention is used in cosmetics, the form is not particularly limited, and basic cosmetics such as lotion, milky lotion, cream, face wash, gel, essence (cosmetic), pack, lipstick, eyeshadow, eye Any form of cosmetics such as liners, mascaras, foundations, sunscreens, makeup cosmetics, oral cosmetics, aromatic cosmetics, hair cosmetics, body cosmetics and the like can be widely applied as long as they are conventionally used for cosmetics.
[0025]
In the composition according to the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned essential components, generally known base components and the like depending on the desired form and dosage form, the intended effects of the present invention are not impaired by the combination thereof. It can be blended and used in a wide range. For example, liquid paraffin, squalane, petrolatum, microcrystalline wax, ceresin, cetyl alcohol, isostearyl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, 2-hexyldecanol, 2-ethylhexanoic acid cetyl, 2-ethylhexyl palmitate, neopentyl di-2-ethylhexanoate Glycol, neopentyl glycol dicaprylate, neopentyl glycol dicaprate, glycerin tri-2-ethylhexanoate, glycerin triisostearate, olive oil, macadamia nut oil, sunflower oil, lanolin, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, bees Oily raw materials such as wax, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, dimethylpolysiloxane, polysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane; Diethylene oleyl ether, sorbitan monoisostearate, polyethylene glycol monostearate, lauroyl diethanolamide, sucrose fatty acid ester, sodium laurate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium myristate, sodium polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate, stearyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, Surfactants such as polyether-modified silicone; medicinal ingredients such as nicotinamide, benzyl nicotinate, vitamin E acetate, vitamin H, assembly extract, glycyrrhetinic acid, pantothenyl ethyl ether, etc .; thickeners, ultraviolet protective agents, ultraviolet rays Absorbent, preservative, antioxidant, antioxidant aid, humectant, coating agent, sequestering agent, lower alcohol, polyhydric alcohol, sugar, amino acid, organic amine A pH adjuster, a skin nutrition agent, an inorganic powder, an organic powder, a fragrance, a coloring agent, water and the like are appropriately blended in the composition of the present invention, and can be produced by a conventional method according to the intended dosage form. .
[0026]
【Example】
Next, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples, but the technical scope of the present invention is not limited to these examples. In addition, all compounding amounts are mass%.
The succinoglucan used in the examples was produced according to the method described in JP-B-6-74283.
[0027]
Examination of preferred thickener A preferred thickener used in the oil-in-water emulsion composition of the present invention was examined.
Using the various thickeners, the following oil-in-water emulsion compositions were prepared, and the stickiness, skewing, and thickening were evaluated based on the following evaluation criteria. Table 1 shows the results.
[0028]
{Circle around (1)} Evaluation criteria for stickiness Evaluate the feeling of use when applying the test sample.
: Not sticky △: Slightly sticky X: Sticky ▲ 2 ▼ Evaluation criteria for sway The test sample is applied to the upper arm by hand, and the degree of sway when drying is evaluated.
:: not disturbed △: slightly disturbed ×: distorted ③ Evaluation criteria for thickening Observe the state of the composition and evaluate the thickening.
: Sufficient △: Slightly weak ×: Weak [0029]
[0030]
1. Mix and dissolve (1) to (8) and heat to 70 ° C.
2. (9) to (11) are highly dispersed by a bead mill and heated to 70 ° C.
3. (15) to (16) are mixed and dissolved, and heated to 70 ° C.
4. Mix and emulsify 1-3 and stir and cool to room temperature.
[0031]
In Test Example 1 using succinoglucan as a thickener, there was no stickiness, whereas in Test Examples 2 to 5 using other thickeners, stickiness occurred. Therefore, it was confirmed that the preferred thickener was succinoglucan. However, in all of the test examples, the twist occurred.
[0032]
Investigation of preferred plasticizer The oil-in-water emulsion composition containing the polysaccharide is affected by drying. In particular, when a hydrophobized powder is included, the warpage is increased by the interaction between the polysaccharide and the hydrophobized powder. Therefore, it was presumed that the plasticization of succinoglucan would improve the sway.
Using the various plasticizers, the following oil-in-water emulsion compositions were prepared, and the stickiness, warpage, and viscosity increase were evaluated based on the evaluation criteria. Table 2 shows the results.
[0033]
[0034]
1. Mix and dissolve (1) to (12) and heat to 70 ° C.
2. (13) to (18) are highly dispersed by a bead mill, and heated to 70 ° C.
3. (19) to (20) are mixed and dissolved, and heated to 70 ° C.
4. Mix and emulsify 1-3 and stir and cool to room temperature.
[0035]
When glycerin, POE methyl glucoside or polyethylene glycol 20000 was used as a plasticizer, the distortion was improved, but when other plasticizers were used, the distortion was not improved. Therefore, it was confirmed that preferred plasticizers were glycerin, POE methyl glucoside, and polyethylene glycol 20000.
[0036]
The amount of succinoglycan and plasticizers <br/> were then examined for the preferred amount of succinoglycan and plasticizer.
The following oil-in-water emulsion compositions were prepared by changing the amounts of the succinoglucan and the plasticizer, and the stickiness, twist, and viscosity were evaluated based on the evaluation criteria. Table 3 shows the results.
[0037]
[0038]
1. Mix and dissolve (1) to (5) and heat to 70 ° C.
2. (6) to (11) are highly dispersed by a bead mill and heated to 70 ° C.
3. (12) to (13) are mixed and dissolved, and heated to 70 ° C.
4. Mix and emulsify 1-3 and stir and cool to room temperature.
[0039]
In Test Examples 14, 15, 22, 23, 30, and 31 in which the amount of succinoglucan was 0.01% by mass, the amount was insufficient, and the viscosity was not sufficiently exhibited. In Test Examples 20, 21, 28, 29, 36, and 37 in which the amount of succinoglucan was 3% by mass, the amount was excessive and stickiness occurred. On the other hand, in Test Examples 16 to 19, 24 to 27, and 32 to 35 in which the blending amount of succinoglucan was 0.5 or 2% by mass, it was preferable in terms of thickening and stickiness. Therefore, the amount of succinoglucan is preferably 0.05 to 2% by mass.
[0040]
However, even in the test examples in which the content of succinoglucan was 0.5 or 2% by mass, in the test examples 16, 18, 24, 26, 32, and 34 in which the content of the plasticizer was 0.5% by mass. In the case, the effect of the plasticizer was not sufficiently exhibited, and the curving occurred. Further, even when the amount is more than 40% by mass, the effect cannot be expected to be improved in proportion to the increase in the amount of the compounding agent. Preferably, it is 40% by mass.
From the above, it was confirmed that the preferred blending amount of succinoglucan was 0.05 to 2% by mass, and the preferred blending amount of the plasticizer was 1 to 40% by mass.
