本発明は、例えば建築物の壁面外装に用いられるサイディングボード等の断熱パネル及びその接続部構造に関する。詳しくは、表裏二枚の金属外皮間に断熱材が充填されてなるパネル本体の一側端部にパネル本体の厚みよりも小さい厚さの嵌合凸部が、かつ、パネル本体の他側端部に前記嵌合凸部が嵌合する嵌合凹部が、それぞれ前記金属外皮で被覆されて形成されているとともに、パネル本体の他側端部の表面側にはパネル固定用凹所が形成され、かつ、パネル本体の一側端部の表面側には前記パネル固定用凹所に入り込んでパネル固定具を覆う覆い片が金属外皮で被覆されて外側方へ向け延出されている断熱パネル及びその断熱パネル同士の接続部構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
この種の断熱パネルにおいては、パネル本体の両側端部に形成されている嵌合凸部及び嵌合凹部が金属外皮で被覆されているため、上段の断熱パネルの嵌合凸部が下段の断熱パネルの嵌合凹部に嵌合されるように、上下で隣接する断熱パネル同士を順次凹凸嵌合形式に接続することにより、上下で隣接する断熱パネルの接続箇所の気密性・水密性を確保することが可能である。一方、パネル本体の前記嵌合凸部及び嵌合凹部が形成されている両側端部に隣接し直交するパネル本体の幅方向両側端部に断熱材の側面が露出したままであると、その露出する断熱材の側面が傷付きやすいだけでなく、露出側面から雨水等が侵入して断熱材が早期のうちに劣化しやすい。さらに、左右で隣接する断熱パネルの幅方向側端面間に形成される縦目地における気密性・水密性を十分に確保することができず、その結果、上下で隣接する断熱パネルの接続箇所の気密性・水密性を確保できたとしても、断熱パネル全体としての本来の性能を長期に亘って安定よく維持することができない。

このようなパネル本体の幅方向両側端部における断熱材の側面の保護及び左右で隣接する断熱パネルの側端面間の縦目地における気密性・水密性を確保する手段として、従来、パネル本体の幅方向両側端部に、表面側の金属外皮を裏面側に折曲げることにより断熱材の側面に対向して該側面を覆う側端面接続片をその全長に亘り一定幅に形成したものが知られている(例えば特許文献1)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、この種の断熱パネルが施工される壁面には、図4に示すように、窓等の開口部Aが存在しているケースが多い。この開口部Aでは、なるべく縦目地の数を少なくして施工手間の削減を図るとともに、外観的に見栄えのよい仕上がりが得られるようにするために、開口部Aの直上部に配置されるところの断熱パネルBをその下端部が開口部A上部のアルミ製サッシ22上に支持されるような横張り通し形式の施工構造を採用することが望ましい。

具体的には、図9及び図10に明示するように、ロ型鉄骨等の壁下地21に固定された開口上部のアルミ製サッシ22の水切り片23と断熱パネルBとの間にスターター材24を配置し、このスターター材24の受け底片25に断熱パネルBにおけるパネル本体の一側端部に形成された嵌合凸部4を載置させるとともに、受け底片25の端縁部を上方へ屈曲させて形成された係合突片部26を前記嵌合凸部4の外面側に形成の凹部6内に係合させることにより断熱パネルBをスターター材24を介してサッシ22上に固定支持させるとともに、スターター材24の下部垂直片27と断熱パネルBの覆い片9との間にパッキン28を挟在させ、かつ、サッシ22と断熱パネルBの覆い片9先端との間にコーキング剤29を充填してサッシ22と断熱パネルBとの間をシールするという施工構造の採用が望ましい。なお、断熱パネルBにおける嵌合凸部4、覆い片9及び凹部6の詳細な構成については後述する。

ところが、既述した従来の断熱パネル、すなわち、パネル本体の幅方向両側端部に断熱材側面の保護及び左右で隣接する断熱パネルの側端面間の縦目地における気密性・水密性の確保のために、表面側の金属外皮の裏面側への折曲げにより断熱材の側面に対向して該側面を覆うようにその全長に亘り一定幅の側端面接続片が形成されてなる従来の断熱パネルを用いて上記したような望ましい施工構造を適用する場合は、側端面接続片のうち、覆い片の側面に対向し該側面を覆う側端面接続片部分(図3の点斜線挿入部分C)が、断熱パネルB側の凹部6をスターター部材24側の係合突片部26に係合させる時の障害物となり、断熱パネルBがサッシ22から少し浮き上がった不安定な状態で支持されることになるのみならず、両者、つまり、断熱パネルBとサッシ22との間のシール性能も不確実かつ不良の状態になるという不都合がある。

このような不都合をなくするために、従来の断熱パネルを用いる時は、係合時の障害物となる前記の側端面接続片部分を施工現場で作業者により切り取り除去する手段が講じられていたが、この場合は、現場手数の増加に伴い施工性が低下するだけでなく、切り取りのバラツキによって上部サッシ付近の見栄えが悪化しやすいという問題があった。

本発明は上記実情に鑑みてなされたもので、施工現場で余分な手数を要することなく、開口部の直上部に配置される断熱パネルを開口上部のアルミ製サッシ上に容易かつ安定よく支持させることができるとともに、コーキング剤の充填による縦目地部のシール性能の向上及びそのシール性能の長期維持を達成することができる断熱パネル及びその接続部構造を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】

上記のような構成を有する請求項1及び請求項3の発明によれば、断熱パネルの複数枚を横張り形式で上下及び左右に並置し、隣接する断熱パネル同士を互いに接続して所定の壁面を施工するにあたって、上下で隣接する断熱パネルについては、金属外皮で被覆された嵌合凸部と嵌合凹部とを嵌合させて接続することにより、上下隣接パネルの接続箇所の気密性・水密性を確保することが可能であるとともに、パネル固定用凹所でパネルを固定する固定具の表面側を覆い片で目隠しすることにより、外観的に見栄えよく施工することが可能である。また、断熱パネルの幅方向両側端部には、覆い片も含めて断熱材の側面を覆う側端面接続片が存在しているので、断熱材を保護するだけでなく、雨水等の侵入に起因する断熱材の劣化を回避することが可能である。さらに、左右で隣接する断熱パネルについては、隣接する両断熱パネルの幅方向側端面間の縦目地をこれら両断熱パネルの側端面接続片間に形成させて当該縦目地にバックアップ材を介してコーキング剤を充填することにより、縦目地における気密性・水密性を十分に確保することが可能で、断熱パネルにより構成される壁面全体としての本来の性能を長期に亘って安定よく維持することができる。

その上、側端面接続片のうち、覆い片の側面に対向し覆う接続片部分を覆い片とほぼ相似形状で他の接続片部分よりも幅狭に形成しているので、開口部の直上部に配置される断熱パネルを開口上部のアルミ製サッシ上に支持させる時に何らの障害物も存在しない。したがって、施工現場で側端面接続片の不要部分を切り取り除去するなどの余分な手数を要することなく、断熱パネルを容易かつ施工性よくサッシ上に安定支持させることができる。しかも、覆い片の側面に対向する箇所には該覆い片とほぼ相似形状の接続片部分が存在しているので、左右に隣接する断熱パネルにおける対向接続片部分間にバックアップ材を介してコーキング剤を充填することにより、それら対向接続片部分の全域を支持面としてコーキング剤を確実強固に接着支持させるとともに、コーキング剤の一部を固定箇所の端面側に廻り込ませて幅狭接続片部分におけるシール性を補強することが可能となり、縦目地部のシール性能の向上が図れるとともに、コーキング剤の剥落などがないため、良好なシール性能を長期に亘り良好に維持することができる。

請求項1及び請求項3の発明に係る断熱パネル及びその接続部構造において、特に、請求項2及び請求項4に記載のように、前記側端面接続片のうち、覆い片とほぼ相似形状に形成される接続片部分を、当該側端面接続片を形成する表面側金属外皮の折曲げ前の段階で覆い片とほぼ相似形状となるように予め余剰部分を切断除去して形成することにより、つまり、断熱パネルの工場生産時で表面側の金属外皮を裏面側に折曲げる前の平坦素材の段階で余剰部分を切断除去することにより、プレス等による機械加工を用いて生産性よく、かつ、バラツキなく所定幅の接続片部分を形成することが可能であり、これによって、上述した縦目地部のシール性能及びその維持性能を確実に達成することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面にもとづいて説明する。
図1は本発明に係る断熱パネルの実施の形態を示す一部省略側面図、図2は上下に隣接する断熱パネルの接続状態を示す要部の拡大側面図であり、この断熱パネルBは、表裏二枚の金属外皮1,2間に、発泡性合成樹脂等の断熱材3が発泡充填されてなるパネル本体Pの一側端部に、断熱材3が露出しその露出面に断熱材封止兼シール材41が付着されたパネル本体Pの厚みTよりも小さい厚みtの嵌合凸部4とそれに続く凹部6が裏面側の金属外皮2で被覆されたままで形成されているとともに、パネル本体Pの他側端部に、前記嵌合凸部4が嵌合する嵌合凹部5が断熱材3及び裏面側の金属外皮2により形成され、かつ、この嵌合凹部5に続いて前記凹部6に係合する凸部7が表面側の金属外皮1で被覆されたままで形成されている。

また、前記パネル本体Pの他側端部の表面側には、断熱パネルBをロ型鉄骨等の壁下地21(図2,図7参照)にドリルビス等の固定具10を介して固定するパネル固定用凹所8が表面側の金属外皮1により被覆されたままで前記凸部7と面一状態で形成されているとともに、パネル本体Pの一側端部の表面側には、上下で隣接する断熱パネルB,Bの接続状態において前記凹所8に入り込んでパネル固定具10を覆い隠す覆い片9が表面側の金属外皮1で被覆されたままで外側方へ向け延出されている。

上記のごとく構成される断熱パネルBにおいて、前記パネル本体Pの嵌合凸部4、凹部6、嵌合凹部5及び凸部7が形成されている両側端部に隣接し、かつ、それに直交するパネル本体Pの幅(上下幅)方向の両側端部には、表面側の金属外皮1を裏面側に向けて直角に折曲げることにより、前記覆い片9を含めて断熱材3の側面に対向し該側面を覆う側端面接続片11が形成されている。この側端面接続片11のうち、外側方へ向けて延出された前記覆い片9の側面に対向しその内部の断熱材3側面を覆う接続片部分11Aは、側面視において覆い片9とほぼ相似形状で他の定幅接続片部分11Bよりも幅狭に形成されている。

この幅狭接続片部分11Aは、断熱パネルBを工場生産するときで側端面接続片11を形成するように裏面側に折曲げられる表面側の金属外皮1を折曲げる前の段階、すなわち、金属外皮1が平坦な素材にある段階において、図3に明示するように、覆い片9とほぼ相似形状となるように予め余剰部分Cをプレス等によって切断除去した後、その余剰部分Cが切断除去された金属外皮1を直角に折曲げることにより形成されるものである。

次に、上記構成の断熱パネルBの複数枚を、図4に示すように、窓等の開口部Aを有する壁面箇所に横張り形式で上下及び左右に多段に並置し隣接するパネル同士を互いに接続して所定大きさの壁面を施工する壁面施工態様について説明する。

まず、開口部Aの存在しない箇所において上下で隣接する断熱パネルB,Bについては、図5及び図6に明示するように、下段の断熱パネルBをそれの嵌合凹部5及び凸部7が上端側に位置する状態に配置したうえ、固定用凹所8の表面側から壁下地21にドリルビス等の固定具10を打ち込んで該下段断熱パネルBの上端部を壁下地21に固定する。続いて、上段の断熱パネルBをそれの嵌合凸部4及び凸部7が下段の断熱パネルBの嵌合凹部5及び凹部6に嵌合するとともに、それの覆い片9が下段の断熱パネルBのパネル固定用凹所8に入り込んで固定具10を覆い隠すように接続した状態で該上段断熱パネルBの上端部を下段の断熱パネルBと同様に固定具10を用いて壁下地21に固定する。これによって、上下に隣接する断熱パネルB,B同士は、金属外皮1で被覆された嵌合凸部4と嵌合凹部5の嵌合及び両部4,5の端面間に挟持されるシール材41の存在により、気密性・水密性に優れた高性能シール状態に接続することができる。

そして、開口部Aの存在しない箇所において左右で隣接する断熱パネルB,Bについては、図7に明示するように、両断熱パネルB,Bにおける側端面接続片11,11と断熱材3,3との間にそれぞれウレタンボード31,31及び横目地パッキン32,32が介在(これらは工場生産された断熱パネルB,Bの出荷時点で挿入される)されているとともに、相対向する側端面接続片11,11間に形成される縦目地33の奥部側にバックアップ材34を配置し、このバックアップ材34の全部の縦目地33部分に相対向する側端面接続片11,11の全域を支持面としてコーキング剤35を充填することにより、縦目地33をシールした接続構造が採用されている。

ここで、左右で隣接する断熱パネルB,Bにおける側端面接続片11,11のうち、覆い片9,9の側面に対向し覆う接続片部分11A,11Aは覆い片9,9とほぼ相似形状で他の接続片部分11B,11Bよりも幅狭に形成されているので、図8に示すように、縦目地33に充填されたコーキング剤35の一部が両断熱パネルB,Bの固定側端面に廻り込んで幅狭接続片部分11A,11Aにおけるシール性を補強することになり、これによって、幅狭接続片部分11A,11Aの存在にかかわらず、縦目地33のシール性能を良好に確保することができる。なお、図7において、37は縦目地ジョイナー水切裏板で、壁下地21に固定されている。36は発泡シールテープで、縦目地ジョイナー水切裏板37の出荷時点で裏面側に貼付けられる。

また、開口部Aの存在する箇所においては、図9及び図10に基づいて既述したように、ロ型鉄骨等の壁下地21に固定された開口上部のアルミ製サッシ22の水切り片23と断熱パネルBとの間にスターター材24を配置し、このスターター材24の受け底片25に断熱パネルBにおけるパネル本体Pの一側端部に形成された嵌合凸部4を載置させるとともに、受け底片25の端縁部を上方へ屈曲させて形成された係合突片部26を前記嵌合凸部4の外面側に形成の凹部6内に係合させることにより断熱パネルBをスターター材24を介してサッシ22上に固定支持させるとともに、スターター材24の下部垂直片27と断熱パネルBの覆い片9との間にパッキン28を挟在させ、かつ、サッシ22と断熱パネルBの覆い片9先端との間にコーキング剤29を充填することにより、サッシ22と断熱パネルBとの間をシールした施工構造が採用されている。

ここで、断熱パネルBにおける側端面接続片11のうち、覆い片9の側面に対向し覆う接続片部分11Aが覆い片9とほぼ相似形状で他の接続片部分11Bよりも幅狭に形成されていて、該断熱パネルBを開口上部のアルミ製サッシ22上に支持させる時に邪魔になる障害物は全く存在しないので、施工現場で側端面接続片11の不要部分Cを切り取り除去するなどの余分な手数が必要でなくなり、断熱パネルBを容易かつ施工性よくサッシ22上に横張り通し状態に安定支持させることができる。その上、覆い片9の側面に対向する箇所には該覆い片9とほぼ相似形状の接続片部分11Aが存在しているので、左右に隣接する断熱パネルB,Bの接続において対向接続片部分11A,11A間にバックアップ材34を介してコーキング剤35を充填することにより、それら対向接続片部分11A,11Aの全域を支持面としてコーキング剤35を確実強固に接着支持させことが可能で、コーキング剤35の剥落などによるシール性能の低下を抑制し長期に亘り良好なシール性能を維持することができる。

さらに、断熱パネルBの左右方向端面が開口部Aにおけるアルミ製サッシ22の縦枠(額縁)38に突き当たる箇所については、図11に明示するように、断熱パネルBを壁下地21と平行に立設されたC形鋼等の間柱39にドリルビス等の固定具10を介して固定するとともに、この断熱パネルBの側端面接続片11と縦枠38との間に形成される縦目地40について、図7に示した左右で隣接する断熱パネルB,B間の縦目地33の場合と同様に、バックアップ材34及びコーキング剤35を用いてシールした接続構造が採用されている。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、請求項1及び請求項3の発明によれば、横張り形式で上下及び左右に並置される複数枚の断熱パネルのうち、上下で隣接する断熱パネル同士は金属外皮で被覆された嵌合凸部と嵌合凹部との嵌合形式で接続することにより、その接続箇所の気密性・水密性を確保することができるとともに、下段パネルを固定する固定具の表面側を上段パネルの覆い片で目隠しすることにより、外観的に見栄えよく施工することができ、また、断熱パネルの幅方向両側端部に形成された側端面接続片の存在により断熱材を保護するだけでなく、雨水等の侵入に起因する断熱材の劣化を回避することができ、さらに、左右で隣接する断熱パネル同士は、両断熱パネルの側端面接続片間に形成させる縦目地にバックアップ材を介してコーキング剤を充填することにより、この縦目地における気密性・水密性を十分に確保することができ、これらの相乗によって壁面全体としての本来の性能を長期に亘って安定よく維持することができる。
