TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for automatically mounting electronic circuit components on a circuit board by an electronic circuit component mounting machine to assemble an electronic circuit, and to creating a component mounting program for executing the method. It is about shortening the time required.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The electronic circuit components are held and supplied by a component supply tool. The component supply tool is mounted on the supply tool holding member. Conventionally, the arrangement of the component supply tool with respect to the supply tool holding member has been optimized. For example, in an electronic circuit component placement machine in which a placement head is moved to an arbitrary position in a plane parallel to a component placement surface of a circuit board to receive electronic circuit components from a component supply device and place the components on a circuit board, The arrangement of the component supply tools is determined so that the distance between the position and each component supply tool is as short as possible, and the total movement time of the mounting head is short (for example, see Patent Document 1). .

Problems to be Solved by the Invention, Means for Solving Problems, and Effects
Therefore, if the type of the circuit board changes, the setup is changed, and the component supply tool that holds the electronic circuit components according to the type of the circuit board is mounted on the supply tool holding member. In short, the production efficiency of the circuit board may be reduced. Different types of circuit boards usually have different optimal arrangements of the component supply tools. To optimize the layout of the component supply tools, it is necessary to supply the components that supplied the electronic circuit components before the setup change. In many cases, it is necessary to remove all of the tools from the supply tool holding member, and then mount the component supply tool to supply the electronic circuit components to the supply tool holding member after the setup change, which requires a considerable amount of time for the setup change. Despite this, optimization was deemed indispensable, and execution of the setup change sometimes reduced the overall production efficiency. In particular, in the case of small-scale production in which electronic circuit components are mounted on a small number of circuit boards, the ratio of the time required for setup change to the total time required for mounting on one circuit board is large, and the production efficiency is significantly reduced. .
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic circuit assembling method capable of performing setup change in a short time and a program for creating a component mounting program for executing the method in view of the above circumstances. [0008]
The component supply tool includes, for example, a feeder and a tray. The feeder includes a tape feeder, a bulk feeder, and the like. A tape feeder is a component supply tool that supplies electronic circuit components to a component-holding tape and supplies them in the form of taped electronic circuit components. When the component holding tape is fed by a tape feeder, a large number of electronic circuit components are supplied. Are sequentially sent to the component supply unit. The bulk feeder is a component feeder that feeds and supplies a large number of electronic circuit components held in a bulk to a component supply unit one by one by a component feeder configured by a belt, an air flow, an inclination, a combination thereof, and the like. The component supply tool mounting position acquisition step is, for example, a step of acquiring the position of the component supply tool already mounted on the supply tool holding member, or a component supply not yet mounted but arbitrarily determined by an operator or the like. Or a step of acquiring the mounting position of the tool. For example, when all the component supply tools necessary for assembling a certain electronic circuit are available, but the order is not the same, the components are mounted in an arbitrary order rather than being mounted on the supply holding member in an optimized order. Is faster. Therefore, the operator is allowed to mount the component supply tools in an arbitrary order, and after the mounting, the reading device automatically reads an identification code such as a barcode or a two-dimensional code provided on each component supply tool. By obtaining the mounting position of each component supply tool, or by mounting the component supply tool while the operator reads the identification code provided on the component supply tool or the taped electronic circuit component by the reading device, the component supply tool is mounted. It is possible to obtain the mounting position of the device and shorten the time required for the setup change.
The type of electronic circuit component supplied by the component supply tool is determined to be one type, and the acquisition of the mounting position of the component supply tool is performed by obtaining information on which type of electronic circuit component is supplied at which mounting position. It is also acquisition.
[0010]
The mounting position of the component supply tool may be determined for all the component supply tools necessary for assembling the electronic circuit, or may be determined for a part of them. Also, the component mounting program may be created by changing an existing component mounting program, or may be newly created from a state where there is no component mounting program.
The information on the electronic circuit to be assembled includes at least data that associates a plurality of mounting positions on the circuit board with the types of electronic circuit components to be mounted on each of the mounting positions. When the component mounting program is created by changing the existing component mounting program, the information of the electronic circuit is obtained from the existing component mounting program, for example, and when the component mounting program is newly created, , For example, from an electronic circuit design device.
[0011]
When a component mounting program is newly created based on the acquired component supply tool mounting position information and information on an electronic circuit to be assembled, if the mounting positions are determined for all the component supply tools, the mounting positions are determined. In addition, data for associating the type of the electronic circuit component to be mounted at the mounting position with the mounting position of the component supply tool that supplies the electronic circuit component is created, and the mounting order of the electronic circuit component to the circuit board is determined. . If the mounting position is determined for some of the component supply tools, at least the mounting positions of the remaining component supply tools are determined, and the mounting position, the type of electronic circuit component to be mounted at the mounting position, and the electronic Data for associating the mounting position of the component supply tool for supplying the circuit components is created, and the mounting order of the electronic circuit components on the circuit board is determined.
It is desirable that the determination of the mounting position and the determination of the mounting order be performed so that the efficiency of the component mounting work is as high as possible for those for which the mounting positions have not been determined. However, the order may be determined in another method, for example, the order of the height of the electronic circuit component is lower, the order of the sequential mounting position, or the like.
[0012]
When the existing component mounting program is changed, if the mounting positions are determined for all the component supplying tools, for example, the mounting positions of the component supplying tools that should receive the electronic circuit components set in the existing component mounting program Is changed to the supply tool mounting position acquired in the component supply tool mounting position acquisition step for all the component supply tools. The mounting order may be changed. If the mounting position is determined for some component supply tools, at least the mounting position data of some component supply tools in the existing component mounting program is Is changed to
[0013]
As described above, the mounting position that is obtained from the component supply tool mounting position information and that is already determined is the mounting position where the electronic circuit component in the component mounting program should be received. Therefore, for example, when there are electronic circuit components that are commonly mounted on a plurality of types of circuit boards, the type of the circuit board is changed and the setup change is performed by sharing the component supply tool that supplies the electronic circuit components. When the parts supply tool is used, the common parts supply tool can be left mounted on the supply tool holding member, reducing the number of component supply tools to be attached to and removed from the supply tool holding member, and reducing the time required for setup change. can do.
[0014]
A component supply tool other than the common component supply tool, which supplies electronic circuit components specific to the circuit board before the setup change, when the type of the circuit board changes, the electronic circuit component is transferred to the next circuit board. If it is necessary to mount the component supply tool to which the circuit component is to be supplied, it may be detached from the supply tool holding member, and may be left attached if removal is unnecessary. Whether or not to remove the unique component supply tool from the supply tool holding member that supplies the unique electronic circuit component to the circuit board before the setup, as described in the section of the embodiment, the time required for the setup change It is determined based on a comparison with the time required for component mounting work, the configuration of the component supply device, and the like.
[0015]
(2) In the component supply tool mounting position acquisition step, all of the mounting positions of the plurality of component supply tools on the supply tool holding member are acquired, and in the program creation step, the existing component mounting program is acquired by the acquired component. The electronic circuit assembling method according to the above mode (1), including a program changing step of changing the program according to the supply tool mounting position.
To change the existing component mounting program, simply change the data of the mounting position of the component supply device that should receive each electronic circuit component in the existing program to the component supply device mounting position acquired in the component supply device mounting position acquisition process Good. However, it is desirable to change the mounting order of the electronic circuit components so that the efficiency of the component mounting operation itself (not including the setup change operation) becomes as high as possible without changing the component supply tool mounting position. Here, “as much as possible” does not necessarily mean “theoretical best state”. For example, a process end condition such as a permissible execution time of the program change process is predetermined, and the efficiency of the component mounting operation itself is maximized as long as the process end condition can be achieved until the process end condition is satisfied. This includes cases in which the efficiency is maximized as long as the other conditions can be satisfied when there are other conditions to be satisfied other than the efficiency of the mounting work itself. . Any use of "as much as possible" throughout this specification should be construed similarly.
If the existing component mounting program is written on the assumption that the mounting of the component supply tool to the supply tool holding member is performed so that the efficiency of the component mounting work is as high as possible, the existing component It is desirable to determine whether to change the mounting program according to the amount of electronic circuits to be assembled. When mass production is to be performed, all parts supply tools are mounted at the mounting position specified by the existing mounting program, and efficient assembly work is performed. By performing the assembling work according to the changed component mounting program, the time required for the setup change work can be saved.
However, in the present invention, it is not essential that the existing component mounting program is created so that the efficiency of the component mounting operation itself is as high as possible.
For example, a component mounting program or the like created so as to be mounted in the order of the position of the electronic circuit components in the electronic circuit, or to be mounted sequentially from the electronic circuit with the smallest size and mass may be used.
[0016]
(3) A method of assembling an electronic circuit by automatically mounting electronic circuit components on a circuit board by an electronic circuit component mounting machine,
When at least a part of all of the component supply tools for supplying one kind of each of a plurality of types of electronic circuit components required for an electronic circuit to be assembled is already mounted on the supply tool holding member, the component supply tool Without changing the mounting position of the electronic component mounting program, the existing component mounting program is changed in accordance with the mounting position of the component supply tool, and the changed component mounting program is executed by the electronic circuit component mounting machine, and the target electronic component mounting program is executed. An electronic circuit assembly method for assembling circuits.
In the case where all of the component supply tools for supplying each of a plurality of types of electronic circuit components required for the electronic circuit to be assembled are already mounted on the supply tool holding member, the efficiency of the component mounting operation itself is reduced to the above ( The electronic circuit assembling method of the item (2) is the same as that of the electronic circuit assembling method of the item (2). May be different. For example, it is possible for an operator to mount a component supply tool that has not yet been mounted at an arbitrary position, and then to change an existing component mounting program. In this case, (2) The method is the same as that described in the section, except that the mounting position of the component supply tool that is not yet mounted is changed so that the efficiency of the component mounting work is as high as possible, and the component mounting program is changed. It is also possible for the operator to mount an unmounted component supply tool at the mounting position designated by the program. In this case, the efficiency of the component mounting work itself is improved by the method described in (2). be able to.

The apparatus may be configured to sequentially stop at the plurality of stop positions above to receive an electronic circuit component from the component supply device and mount the electronic circuit component on the circuit board. (B) A mounting head is provided. Apparatus for moving a mounting head in a direction having two components orthogonal to each other in a moving plane parallel to the surface of a circuit board and moving the mounting head to an arbitrary position in the moving plane to receive and mount electronic circuit components (C) a mounting head, and two directions orthogonal to each other in a moving plane parallel to the surface of the circuit board by the mounting head moving device. On the other hand, it may be an apparatus for linearly moving the mounting head.
When the component mounting device is of the type (a), the mounting head rotating device includes a rotating body that can rotate around one axis and a rotating body rotating device that rotates the rotating body by any angle in both forward and reverse directions. An apparatus may be used in which a plurality of mounting heads are held by a rotating body and are sequentially stopped at a stop position such as a component receiving position and a component mounting position by rotation of the rotating body, and the rotating body is an intermittent rotating body that can rotate intermittently around one axis. A rotation motion imparting device for rotating in accordance with the speed pattern, and sequentially stopping at predetermined stop positions (pluralities) at different times, wherein a plurality of rotating members each have one mounting head, The device may be held so as to be movable in a direction and swivel around a common swivel axis.
When the component mounting device is of the type (a), the circuit board holding device is moved to an arbitrary position in a moving plane which is a plane parallel to the surface of the circuit board by the circuit board holding device moving device. The supply device includes, for example, a component feeder configured by a feeder, a plurality of feeders held by a feeder support in a state of being arranged in a direction intersecting with a component feed direction, and a feeder support pedestal moving device. The support is moved along the direction in which the plurality of feeders are arranged, and any one of the plurality of feeders is positioned at a predetermined component supply position. In the case of the type (b), the circuit board holding device and the component supply device are provided stationary. In the case of the type (c), the circuit board holding device moves the mounting head in two directions orthogonal to each other in a moving plane parallel to the surface of the circuit board by the circuit board holding device moving device. Are moved linearly in different directions. When the component supply device is configured by a feeder, the component supply device may be provided stationary with the component supply unit positioned within the movement locus of the mounting head, and may move in a direction in which the component supply units of the feeder are arranged. You may let it. When the component feeder is constituted by a feeder, the plurality of feeders may be arranged along a straight line, may be arranged along a curve (including an arc), or may be arranged along a line formed by a combination of a straight line and a curve. Is also good.
When the component mounting apparatus is moved along a moving plane or a straight line, another movement different from the movement may be additionally performed. For example, a rotating body (e.g., an intermittent rotating disk) that is rotated while holding a plurality of mounting heads is further translated in a direction having two components orthogonal to each other in a moving plane, and is parallel to the rotation of the rotating body. The mounting head may be moved to the mounting position where the electronic circuit components are mounted on the surface of the circuit board by a combined movement with the movement. In this case, the rotation axis of the rotating body may be perpendicular to the moving plane or may be inclined. On the rotating body, the component receiving position where the mounting head receives the electronic circuit component from the electronic circuit component supply device and the component mounting position where the electronic circuit component is mounted on the circuit board may be the same or different. .
The mounting head moving device and the circuit board holding device moving device constitute a relative moving device that relatively moves the mounting head and the circuit board or the circuit board holding device.

For example, in the case of accommodating a taped component, the dimensions are defined by the width and the feed pitch of the carrier tape, and the component holding form is defined by, for example, a paper tape type or an embossed tape type. . In the present embodiment, the number given to the feeder 42 is a feeder ID (Identification), and the feeder 42 is specified and identified by the number. The feeder 42 also displays a feeder ID and the like so that the operator can recognize it.
[0042]
The input device 116 is constituted by, for example, a keyboard or a mouse which is a kind of a pointing device, and is used for inputting data and instructions. The input / output interface 102 is also connected to various actuators constituting the wiring board transport device 12 and the like via a drive circuit 130, and is connected to a display screen 140 via a control circuit 132. The X-axis slide drive motor 62 and the like constitute a drive source, and in this embodiment, many are constituted by servomotors.
The servo motor is a rotary electric motor capable of controlling the rotation angle with high accuracy, and a step motor may be used instead of the servo motor. The display screen 140 constitutes a display device as an output device or a notification device together with the control circuit 132 and the like.
[0043]
The ROM 92 stores a basic operation program of the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8 and the like. The RAM 94 stores a component mounting program corresponding to a printed wiring board to be worked, various programs and data. Have been. The component mounting program includes, for example, board information, sequence data, feeder data, component link data, component data, and the like. In the sequence data, for example, the coordinates of a large number of component mounting positions and the mounting positions of the feeder 42 holding the electronic circuit components mounted on each mounting position on the feeder support table 40 are arranged in the mounting order in association with each other. Data obtained. With the feeder data and the component link data, information on the mounting position and the component identification code associated with each other (referred to as existing feeder mounting position information) is obtained. The component receiving position of the mounting head 46 is obtained by the mounting position of the feeder 42. The component data includes a component name, a shape, a dimension, an electrical characteristic value, a manufacturer name, and the like. The data set by the component mounting program is executed by the basic operation program, and the electronic circuit component is mounted on the printed wiring board 30. Therefore, the component mounting program including the sequence data and the like is component mounting data, and it can be considered that the component mounting program is configured together with the basic operation program. In any case, the creation and change of the component mounting program are performed by creating and changing the sequence data and the like.
[0044]
In the feeder 42 mounted on the feeder support base 40 in the component supply device 18, a reel around which the taped electronic circuit component is wound is set in advance to hold the electronic circuit component. The feeder 42 is prepared in advance so that it can be mounted on the feeder support base 40 as needed. As described above, the component identification code, the feeder ID, and the like are displayed on the reel and the feeder 42 so as to be understood by the operator. The operator looks at them and selects a reel, and places the reel on the feeder 42 that matches the reel. In this embodiment, this preparation is performed not only for one type of printed wiring board 30, but also for a plurality of types of feeders 42 used for assembling electronic circuits for each of the plurality of types of printed wiring boards 30.
[0045]
The operator holds the reels on the feeder 42 and holds the electronic circuit components on the feeder 42. At this time, the bar code reader 118 reads bar codes provided on the reels and the feeder 42, respectively. At this time, the bar code reader 118 is connected to the host computer 112, and the feeder information obtained by reading the bar code of the feeder 42 and the component information obtained by reading the bar code of the reel are associated with each other, Is stored in the RAM. The feeder information and component information associated with each other are referred to as feeder preparation information. If necessary, the feeder preparation information is stored in, for example, a rewritable ROM, a backup part of a RAM, or an external storage device or a recording medium.
[0046]
In the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8, when the type of the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit components are mounted changes, the setup is changed. At the time of the setup change, for example, a change in the conveyance width of the printed wiring board 30 in the wiring board conveyance device 12, a change in the wiring board support position of the support member constituting the wiring board support device of the printed wiring board holding device 14, and the like are performed. The operator mounts the feeder 42 holding the electronic circuit components necessary for assembling the electronic circuit on the feeder support 40.
[0047]
The electronic circuit component mounting system includes a control program for small-quantity production for assembling an electronic circuit for a small number of printed wiring boards 30 for each type. If this control program is used, the operator can use the feeder 42 during setup change. Can be arbitrarily determined and mounted on the feeder support 40. At this time, the operator operates the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit has been assembled before the setup change (hereinafter referred to as the pre-setup change wiring board 30) and the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit has been assembled after the setup change. If there is a common electronic circuit component among the electronic circuit components to be mounted on the circuit board (hereinafter, referred to as the wiring board 30 after setup change), a feeder (hereinafter, referred to as a common feeder) 42 holding the common electronic circuit component is a feeder. A feeder (hereinafter, referred to as a post-setup-specific feeder) 42 that holds a unique electronic circuit component that is not common among the electronic circuit components mounted on the wiring board 30 after the change-over while being mounted on the support base 40. The mounting position is arbitrarily determined and mounted on the feeder support 40. Generally, a feeder (hereinafter, referred to as a pre-changeover unique feeder) 42 that holds a unique electronic circuit component that is not common among the electronic circuit components mounted on the pre-changeover wiring board 30 is a feeder support base 40. However, if there is no need to remove the unique feeder 42 after the setup change, such as when there is a sufficient space for mounting the unique feeder 42, the unique feeder 42 may be left mounted. In the case of small-volume production, the number of mounted electronic circuit components is not large, and one type of electronic circuit component is supplied by one feeder. Hereinafter, a case will be described in which both the electronic circuit assembly performed before the setup change and the electronic circuit assembly performed after the setup change are performed in small quantities.
[0048]
The mounting control computer 100 receives, for example, the type of the printed wiring board 30 to which the electronic circuit component is to be mounted next by the operator, and if a small-quantity production is to be performed, the component identification code of the common electronic circuit component, the common feeder. The mounting position of 42, the component identification code of the electronic circuit component unique to the wiring board 30 after setup (hereinafter, referred to as the unique component after setup), and the installation location of the unique feeder 42 before setup are displayed on the display screen 140. The mounting support information includes the type of the wiring board 30 before the setup, the type of the wiring board 30 after the setup, and the mounting position information of the feeder 42 on the feeder support table 40 at the time of assembling the electronic circuit of the wiring board 30 before the setup. In the present embodiment, on the basis of the electronic circuit information on the wiring board 30 after the setup change, the host computer 112 executes the small-volume production component mounting support program to execute the program, and sends the acquired information to the mounting control computer 100 for display. . Information on the actual mounting position of the feeder 42 on the feeder support table 40 when the electronic circuit components are mounted on the pre-setup wiring board 30 and the electronic circuit components mounted on the post-setup wiring board 30 are obtained. The mounting support information is created based on the information. The operator may input to the host computer 112 the type of the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit component is to be mounted next in the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8. Alternatively, in the host computer 112, the order of assembling the electronic circuits for the plurality of types of printed wiring boards 30 may be set in advance, and mounting support information may be created in accordance with the order, supplied to the mounting control computer 100, and displayed.
[0049]
The feeder mounting position information before the setup change includes data of the component identification code and the feeder mounting position associated with each other. The mounting position is specified by the slot number, and it is known from the feeder mounting position information which electronic circuit component is actually mounted at which mounting position on the feeder support base 40. The feeder mounting position information is predetermined feeder mounting position information described later, and is stored in the database 126 in association with the type of the printed wiring board 30. The electronic circuit information on the wiring board 30 after the setup change is obtained from the CAD data of the CAD system 120. The feeder mounting position information before the changeover may be obtained from a component mounting program used for mounting the electronic circuit components before the changeover, and the wiring after the changeover when the feeder 42 is mounted on the feeder support base 40. If an existing component mounting program, which will be described later, is created for the board 30, electronic circuit information on the post-setup wiring board 30 may be obtained from the program. An electronic circuit component to be mounted on the device may be acquired to generate mounting support information.
[0050]
The operator looks at the display screen 140, leaves the common feeder 42 on the feeder support 40 as it is, and mounts the unique feeder 42 on the feeder support 40 after the setup change. As described above, the feeder 42 that holds the electronic circuit components unique to the wiring board 30 after the setup is selected from the feeders 42 prepared in advance, and is mounted on the feeder support 40. At this time, the entire pre-setup change specific feeder 42 may be removed from the feeder support base 40, or may be removed by a number necessary for mounting the post-setup change specific feeder 42. If there is a vacant slot in the feeder support base 40, the unique feeder 42 after the setup change is attached to the slot. If there is no vacant slot, the unique feeder 42 before the setup change is removed from the feeder support base 40 and the unique feeder 42 after the setup change. The feeder 42 may be mounted. It is desirable that the plurality of feeders 42 that supply electronic circuit components to the printed wiring board 30 have a short distance from the printed wiring board 30 held by the printed wiring board holding device 14. Therefore, when removing the unique feeder 42 before the setup change, the operator removes the unique feeder 42 before the setup change from the mounting position where the distance between the unique feeder 42 after the setup change and the wiring board 30 after the setup change becomes as short as possible. It is desirable to do.
[0051]
Even if there is an empty space in the feeder support table 40, the unique feeder 42 before setup change may be removed, and the feeder 42 may be attached to the empty position. For example, if the post-changeover specific feeder 42 is attached to a vacant position of the feeder support base 40, if the distance between the post-changeover specific feeder 42 and the post-changeover wiring board 30 becomes longer, The unique feeder 42 before the changeover mounted at a position where the distance from the wiring board 30 is short is removed, and the unique feeder 42 after the changeover is mounted. However, since the removal work of the unique feeder 42 before the setup change is an extra work, the extension of the setup change work time by performing this work is compared with the shortening of the mounting time by shortening the moving distance of the mounting head 46. If the operator determines that the sum of the setup change operation time and the total time of the mounting operation itself becomes short, the operation is performed.
[0052]
The operator selects a feeder 42 that holds an electronic circuit component unique to the wiring board 30 after the setup change from the prepared feeders 42 and mounts the feeder 42 on the feeder support base 40. On the reel and the feeder 42, a component identification code and the like and a feeder ID and the like are displayed so as to be understood by the operator, and the operator looks at them and selects the feeder 42 and mounts it on the feeder support base 40. At this time, the operator inputs the slot number for mounting the unique feeder 42 after the setup change of the feeder support base 40 to the mounting control computer 100 using the input device 116. The barcode reader 118 connected to the mounting control computer 100 reads a barcode provided on the feeder 42. As a result, in the mounting control computer 100, the input slot number and the feeder information (including the feeder ID) obtained from the read barcode are stored in association with each other, and the mounting of the unique feeder 42 after the setup change is performed. The position is obtained. This associated information is referred to as actual mounted feeder information.
[0053]
As described above, when the feeder 42 is mounted on the feeder support 40, the type of electronic circuit component is confirmed, whether or not the mounting operation is completed, and the default feeder mounting position information is created. Actual mounted feeder information obtained when the feeder 42 is mounted, that is, feeder information (including a feeder ID) and a slot number, and feeder information (including a feeder ID) and component information (including a component identification code) obtained from feeder preparation information. ), Information for associating the slot number with the component identification code and setting which electronic circuit component is actually supplied at which mounting position on the feeder support base 40 is created. In the present embodiment, the creation of the default feeder mounting position information and the like are performed in the host computer 112 in accordance with the control program for small-quantity production. Therefore, the information input to the mounting control computer 100 is sent to the host computer 112.
[0054]
The confirmation of the type of the electronic circuit component, that is, the determination as to whether the electronic circuit component housed in the mounted feeder 42 is the electronic circuit component to be supplied by the component supply device 18 when the component is mounted after the setup change is performed. In the present embodiment, the determination is performed using electronic circuit information, and is performed based on whether or not the electronic circuit information includes a component identification code that specifies an electronic circuit component held in the feeder 42. This is performed depending on whether or not the type of the electronic circuit component is a type included in the electronic circuit information. The type of the electronic circuit component accommodated in the mounted feeder 42 is obtained from the actual mounted feeder information and the feeder preparation information. If the component identification code is included in the electronic circuit information, the electronic circuit component specified by the component identification code is an electronic circuit component to be supplied by the component supply device 18 and is not included in the electronic circuit information. If the electronic circuit component is incorrect, data such as the mounting position of the feeder 42 holding the incorrect electronic circuit component is sent to the mounting control computer 100, displayed on the display screen 140, and notified to the operator. The operator removes the feeder 42 holding the wrong electronic circuit component from the feeder support base 40 and mounts the feeder 42 holding the correct electronic circuit component on the feeder support base 40 accordingly. Also check the type of electronic circuit components during this mounting.
[0055]
Every time the feeder 42 is mounted on the feeder support base 40, the actual mounted feeder information is obtained, and the default feeder mounting position information is created. Also, it is determined whether the mounting operation has been completed. This determination is made, for example, based on whether or not the electronic circuit components of all the component identification codes included in the electronic circuit information are now included in the default feeder mounting position information. However, the common feeder 42 remains mounted on the feeder support base 40, and the input of the slot number and the reading of the barcode of the feeder 42 are not performed. Therefore, for example, all of the component identification codes except the component identification code of the common electronic circuit component that is the electronic circuit component held by the shared feeder 42 from the component identification code included in the electronic circuit information are included in the default feeder mounting position information. When the state is reached, it is determined that the mounting operation has been completed. Information on the common electronic circuit component is obtained from, for example, mounting support information.
[0056]
When the mounting operation is completed, the default feeder mounting position information is completed by adding the component identification code of the common electronic circuit component and the mounting position of the common feeder 42, sent to the database 126, and associated with the type of the printed wiring board 30. Is memorized. The component identification code of the common electronic circuit component and the mounting position of the common feeder 42 are obtained from, for example, mounting support information. In a state where the electronic circuit components are held by the feeder 42, the electronic circuit components and the feeders 42 holding the electronic circuit components are in one-to-one correspondence, and the default feeder mounting position information is for the post-setup change wiring board 30. The information on the predetermined mounting position of all of the feeders 42 to which the electronic circuit components are to be supplied to the feeder support base 40, and the actual mounting feeder mounting position which is a type of the default feeder mounting position information. This is information, and is predetermined electronic circuit component mounting position information. Also, the mounting work completion information is sent to the mounting control computer 100 and displayed on the display screen 140 for notification.
[0057]
When the work of mounting the feeder 42 on the feeder support base 40 is completed, the existing component mounting program is changed in the host computer 112 by executing the existing component mounting program changing program. The existing component mounting program for the wiring board 30 after the setup change is changed according to the default feeder mounting position information created as described above.
[0058]
The existing component mounting program is created at any time before the change is made. In the host computer 112, a component mounting program creation program is executed, a mounting program is created, and an existing component mounting program is obtained. In the host computer 112, the CAD data created for the printed wiring board 30 after the setup change is read from the CAD system 120, and information on the electronic circuit components mounted on the wiring board 30 after the setup change is read from the PDG 122, and the electronic circuit component And the mounting position of the feeder 42 holding the electronic circuit components on the feeder support table 40 are determined, and a component mounting program is created.
The sequence data, feeder data, and the like are created.
[0059]
The mounting order and the mounting position are determined so that, for example, the electronic circuit components having a small height are mounted on the printed wiring board 30 first, and the moving distance of the mounting head 46 is as small as possible. The mounting head 46 moves between the component supply device 18 and the wiring board holding device 14, receives an electronic circuit component from the component supply device 18, and mounts the electronic circuit component on the printed wiring board 30. Since it is determined by the height of the circuit component, if there are a plurality of electronic circuit components having the same height, it is determined that the moving distance of the mounting head 46 when mounting them is as small as possible. "Moving the mounting head 46 as little as possible" means that the mounting head 46 mounts the electronic circuit component on the printed wiring board 30 and then moves to one of the plurality of feeders 42. The moving distance between receiving the electronic circuit component and mounting the electronic circuit component on the printed wiring board 30 is as small as possible "and" a plurality of electronic circuit components (in some cases, one circuit board). The total moving distance of the mounting head 46 for mounting all the electronic circuit components to be mounted on the mounting head 46 may be as small as possible. " . In such a case, it is common that both cannot be minimized, so that the mounting position and the mounting order of the feeder 42 are determined so that both are satisfied as much as possible. In the component mounting program, the rotation angle and rotation direction of the suction nozzle according to the direction (posture) when the electronic circuit component is mounted on the printed wiring board 30 and the height of the electronic circuit component are actually determined. The setting of the descending distance of the suction nozzle and the like is performed in accordance with the setting, but description thereof is omitted for simplicity.
[0060]
In the host computer 112, the existing component mounting program change program shown in FIG. 4 is executed, and the existing component mounting program is changed. In the present embodiment, all the feeders 42 that supply the electronic circuit components to the wiring board 30 after the setup change are already mounted on the feeder support base 40, and all the electronic circuit components that constitute the electronic circuit assembled on the printed wiring board 30 are removed. Since the mounting positions of the feeders 42 to be held on the feeder support table 40 are determined in advance, the existing component mounting programs are changed according to the mounting positions without changing the mounting positions of the feeders 42. In step 1 (hereinafter abbreviated as S1; the same applies to other steps) of the existing component mounting program change program, the existing component mounting program created for the wiring board 30 after the setup change is stored in the RAM of the host computer 112. From the component mounting program storage unit, which is a non-volatile storage unit, to the work storage area. Next, S2 is executed, and the default feeder mounting position information created for the post-setup wiring board 30 is read from the database 126.
[0061]
Subsequently, S3 is executed, and the existing component mounting program read in S1 is changed based on the default feeder mounting position information read in S2.
In the present embodiment, at the time of change, the existing feeder mounting position information obtained from the existing component mounting program is compared with the default feeder mounting position information read in S2, and the mounting position of the feeder 42 that supplies the electronic circuit components is different. If so, change the mounting position. If the slot number associated with the electronic circuit component in the existing feeder mounting position information is different from the slot number associated with the same electronic circuit component in the default feeder mounting position information, the existing feeder mounting position is included in the sequence data. The same slot number as the information is replaced with the slot number of the default feeder mounting position information.
[0062]
The changed component mounting program is sent from the host computer 112 to the mounting control computer 100, and is executed in the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8, whereby the target electronic circuit is assembled on the printed wiring board 30.
[0063]
In the present electronic circuit component mounting system, even if the type of the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit is assembled is different, if there is a common electronic circuit component, the feeder 42 holding the common electronic circuit component remains attached to the feeder support base 40. Therefore, the time required for the setup change can be shortened. Although the small number of printed wiring boards 30 for each type is produced in small quantities, the time required for mounting the electronic circuit components is short, and the time required for setup change is avoided, thereby increasing the production efficiency. . The production efficiency of the electronic circuit assembly system including the electronic circuit component mounting system is also improved. Further, for example, when the setup change is performed simultaneously in a plurality of electronic circuit component mounting machines included in the electronic circuit assembly system, the time required for the setup change is short even if the number of operators is small (for example, one person). , Can improve production efficiency.
[0064]
The host computer 112 also includes a control program for mass production (not shown), so that small-volume production and mass production can be selectively performed. For example, even if the number of the printed wiring boards 30 on which the electronic circuit is assembled after the setup change is large and the time required for the setup change is long, the shorter the time required for the mounting is the time required for the assembly work (the time required for the setup change). (The sum of the time required for mounting the electronic circuit components on one printed wiring board 30 and the time obtained by multiplying the number of printed wiring boards 30) is short, and the production efficiency is increased. The computer 112 executes the component mounting support program for mass production (not shown) to execute mass production of mounting position information or component mounting information from an existing component mounting program created for the printed wiring board after setup change. Mounting support information, that is, data for associating electronic circuit components with mounting positions, and sends the data to the mounting control computer 100 to display on the display screen 140. Indicated was it the operator to perform replacement stage of the component supply device 18 in accordance with. In this case, the existing component mounting program is not changed. When the number of the printed wiring boards 30 is small and it is desirable to reduce the time required for the setup change, the setup change of the component supply device 18 corresponding to the small-quantity production is performed as described above. Also, the component mounting program is changed. Whether mass production or small production may be determined and determined by the operator, and based on the number of printed wiring boards, the number of electronic circuit components mounted, and the like, the mounting control computer 100 or the host. The determination may be made automatically by the computer 112. When determined by the host computer 112, the production mode is instructed and displayed on the mounting control computer 100, so that the setup of the component supply device 18 is changed according to each.
[0065]
Even when mass production is performed, it is determined whether or not all of the feeders 42 holding the electronic circuit components required for mounting are mounted on the feeder support table 40, and it is determined that the mounting operation is completed. This is the same as in the case of small-lot production. The procedure of the setup change of the component supply device 18 performed at the time of mass production will be briefly described with reference to FIG. 5 while comparing with the case of the small production.
[0066]
Next, if the operator determines the next production wiring board, which is the printed wiring board 30 on which the electronic circuit components are to be mounted, and selects and determines whether the production is a small-scale production or a large-scale production, based on these decisions. The operator is instructed to change the component supply device 18. In the case of mass production, mounting support information for electronic circuit components is created from the component mounting program, sent from the host computer 112 to the mounting control computer 100, and displayed on the display screen 140. Thereby, the component identification code of the necessary electronic circuit component and the mounting position of the feeder 42 holding the electronic circuit component are instructed, and the operator performs the mounting operation of the feeder 42 on the feeder support 40. In this case, the arrangement (feeder mounting position) of the electronic circuit components determined in the component mounting program is not changed and remains fixed. On the other hand, in the case of small-volume production, as described above, the mounting support information for small-volume production is created and displayed, and the mounting of electronic circuit components is instructed.
[0067]
In the case of small-volume production, as described above, the type of electronic circuit components is confirmed, the default feeder mounting position information is created, and the work completion is determined. When the work is completed, the component mounting program is changed and mounted. Sent to control computer 100. In addition, work completion is displayed and notified.
[0068]
In the case of mass production, when the operator mounts the feeder 42 on the feeder support base 40 in accordance with the display of the mounting position information of the electronic circuit component, the electronic circuit component held by the mounted feeder 42 becomes an electronic circuit component for the next production wiring board. Confirmation as to whether the component is a circuit component and determination of work completion are performed. In the present embodiment, these operations are performed in the host computer 112 according to a control program for mass production (not shown). In the present embodiment, when the feeder 42 is mounted on the feeder support base 40, the mounting position of the feeder 42 is input, and the bar code provided on the feeder 42 is read by the barcode reader 118 in the present embodiment. Information, the mounting position and feeder information (actual mounting feeder information), the component information and feeder information (feeder preparation information) stored in the host computer 112, and the mounting position information created for mounting support. It is performed based on.
The mounting position information for mounting is created based on a component mounting program. If the component identification code of the electronic circuit component held by the mounted feeder 42 matches the identification code of the electronic circuit component associated with the mounting position of the feeder 42 in the mounting support information, the component should be mounted. If the electronic circuit components are mounted, and if they do not match, the display screen 140 displays that an incorrect electronic circuit component is mounted, and is notified to the operator. The operator reloads the feeder 42 according to the notification. Further, it is determined from the actual mounted feeder information or the like whether or not all the feeders 42 holding necessary electronic circuit components have been mounted on the feeder support base 40. If the feeders 42 are mounted at all the mounting positions scheduled in the mounting support information, the completion of the work is displayed and notified. In the case of mass production, the component mounting program is not changed and is sent to the mounting control computer 100 as it is, and when the mounting operation is completed, the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8 allows the electronic circuit component mounting machine 8 to mount the electronic circuit components on the printed wiring board 30. It is possible to start. Note that the mounting control computer 100 may confirm the type of the electronic circuit component and determine the completion of the mounting operation in both small-volume production and mass production.
[0069]
The case where the assembly of the electronic circuit performed before the setup is mass production and the assembly of the electronic circuit performed after the setup is small production will be briefly described.
In the case of mass production, a plurality of feeders holding electronic circuit components of the same type may be used to supply electronic circuit components mounted at different component mounting positions. Therefore, the mounting support information may include and display a plurality of feeders having the same electronic circuit components as common feeders. In this case, the mounting support information is based on, for example, mounting support information created at the time of mass-production electronic circuit assembly before setup change and electronic circuit information for electronic circuit assembly that is small-scale production after setup change. Created. In the case of small-volume production, one of the plurality of common feeders is used to supply electronic circuit components. For example, a feeder used by an operator according to an instruction given on the display screen 140 (this feeder is The shared feeder is determined, and the mounting position is input, or the computer automatically determines the shared feeder according to a preset rule. For example, the common feeder having the smallest mounting position (the smallest number assigned to the mounting position) is determined as the common feeder that supplies the electronic circuit components. As a result, the default feeder mounting position information is completed by adding the mounting position of the shared feeder determined as described above and the component identification code of the common electronic circuit component.
[0070]
As is clear from the above description, in the present embodiment, the part of the host computer 112 that executes S3 constitutes the mounting program creating unit. Also, a portion for creating mounting support information of common electronic circuit components and the like to be displayed on the display screen 140 of the host computer 112 in accordance with the component mounting support program for small-quantity production constitutes a mounting support information creating section, and the display is displayed on the mounting control computer 100. Along with the part to be performed, a feeder mounting support unit that supports the mounting of the feeder 42 on the feeder support base 40 by the operator is configured. Further, a part of the input device 116 or the control device 24 that determines whether the production is small or mass constitutes a production mode selection unit. Further, the part of the host computer 112 that associates the slot number with the component information based on the feeder preparation information and the actually mounted feeder information constitutes a default feeder mounting position information creating unit. Also, by reading the existing component mounting program, the electronic circuit information is acquired, and by changing the existing component mounting program based on the default feeder mounting position information, the component mounting is performed based on the electronic circuit information and the default feeder mounting position information. A program is created. The existing component mounting program includes sequence data, feeder data, and the like, from which electronic circuit information is obtained, and by reading the existing component mounting program, the electronic circuit information is obtained. Is created based on the acquired electronic circuit information. Also, a part of the host computer 112 for confirming the type of the mounted component constitutes a mounted component type confirming means. If the component is erroneously mounted, it is displayed on the display screen 140. A part that determines the completion of the mounting operation constitutes a part, and a part that determines the completion of the mounting operation constitutes a part for determining the completion of the mounting operation.

[0080]
As shown in FIG. 7, the control device 214 is mainly composed of a computer (hereinafter referred to as a mounting control computer) 318 having a PU 310, a ROM 312, a RAM 314, and a bus 316 connecting them. An input / output interface 320 is connected to the bus 316, and various computers such as an image processing computer 322 and a host computer 324, an input device 328, and the like are connected to the bus 316, and a barcode reader 330 is also connected. The host computer 324 and the like have the same configuration as the host computer 112 and the like, and further illustration and description will be omitted.
[0081]
The input / output interface 320 is also connected to various actuators such as a support base moving motor 230 via a drive circuit 340, and a display screen 344 via a control circuit 342. The ROM 312 stores a basic operation program of the electronic circuit component mounting machine 200 and the like, and the RAM 314 stores a component mounting program and the like corresponding to the printed wiring board 240 to be worked.
[0082]
Also in the present electronic circuit component mounting system, a component mounting program is created in the host computer 324 based on the CAD data and the like, and in the case of small-scale production, the existing component mounting program is changed based on the default feeder mounting position information. . In the host computer 324, similarly to the above-described embodiment, a component mounting program is created based on electronic circuit information obtained from CAD data, information on electronic circuit components obtained from the PDG, and the like. The component mounting program includes an electronic circuit component that can be moved at a large acceleration / deceleration, that is, the printed wiring board 240 on which the electronic circuit component is mounted is moved by the XY moving device 210 at a large acceleration / deceleration. The electronic circuit components that do not shift or fall are mounted on the printed wiring board 240 as early as possible, and the moving distances of the feeder support 224 and the printed wiring board holding device 208 are all as small as possible. The mounting position of the feeder 226 that is created so as to supply the electronic circuit components and the mounting order of the electronic circuit components are determined. The mounting position of the feeder 226 is stored in association with the mounting position of the electronic circuit component and the electronic circuit component.
[0083]
In the electronic circuit component mounting system, the change of the existing component mounting program is performed prior to the setup change of the component supply device 204, and the feeder mounting position information obtained by the change is displayed on the display screen 344, and the operator is accordingly operated. The feeder 226 is mounted on the feeder support 224. The case where small-volume production is performed before and after the setup change will be described.
[0084]
The ROM of the host computer 326 stores an existing component mounting program change program shown in FIG. 8, and in S11, the post-change program, which is the component mount program created for the post-change wiring board 240, is stored in the non-volatile RAM. The data is read from the component mounting program storage unit, which is the sex storage unit, to the work storage area. The post-setup change program is a program before change and is an existing component mounting program.
[0085]
Next, S12 is executed to acquire default feeder mounting position information. In the present embodiment, the feeder mounting position information created for the pre-setup changeover wiring board 240, and data in which the mounting position of the feeder 226 holding the electronic circuit component and the component identification code of the electronic circuit component are associated with each other. The default feeder mounting position information and the like can be obtained based on the electronic circuit information obtained from the CAD data for the wiring board 240 after the setup change. The common electronic circuit component, the mounting position of the shared feeder 226, the mounting position of the unique feeder 226 before the setup change, and the unique electronic circuit component mounted on the printed wiring board 240 after the setup change are obtained. The common feeder 226 is already mounted on the feeder support 224, and the mounting position information of the common feeder 226 is the default feeder mounting position information.
[0086]
Then, S13 is executed, and the existing component mounting program created for the wiring board 240 after the setup change is changed. This change is performed by changing at least the data of the mounting position of the feeder 226 that should receive the common electronic circuit component from the existing component mounting program to the mounting position of the shared feeder 226. Accordingly, the mounting position of the post-setup change specific feeder 226 is also changed, and the mounting order is changed, including the electronic circuit components supplied by the shared feeder 226. In the present electronic circuit component mounting machine 200, since the feeder support 224 is moved and the printed wiring board holding device 208 is moved, the mounting position of the unique feeder 226 is changed after the setup is changed, and the mounting order of the electronic circuit components is changed. Is changed so that the movement of the feeder support 224 can be made as small as possible, and the movement of the printed wiring board holding device 208 can be made as small as possible. . If both are not satisfied, a change is made so that the efficiency of the component mounting operation itself becomes as high as possible. However, also in this case, similarly to the creation of the existing component mounting program, one of the conditions for setting the mounting order is to mount the electronic circuit components first, which can be moved at a large acceleration / deceleration rate. Generally, this condition is the most important condition, and the second most important requirement is that the movement of the printed wiring board holding device 208 be as small as possible. In many cases, the feeder mounting position is determined so that the movement of the table 224 is as small as possible.
[0087]
Even when the actual mounting position of the feeder 226 on the feeder support base 224 is determined by the computer as described above, similarly to the case where the mounting position is determined by the operator in the above embodiment, the unique feeder 226 before the setup change is removed. Whether or not to remove the feeder 226 from the feeder support base 224, and if so, from which mounting position to remove the feeder 226 is determined. In the present electronic circuit component mounting system, since the feeder support 224 is moved, the moving distance of the feeder support 224 is desirably as small as possible, and the feeder support 224 is desirably light. It is desirable that the feeders 226 be mounted at positions as close as possible to each other on the feeder support base 224 so that the distance between the feeders is shortened, or the number of the feeders 226 on the feeder support base 224 is reduced as much as possible. Therefore, it is desirable to remove the unique feeder 226 before the setup change from the feeder support 224 as much as possible, and to mount the unique feeder 226 after the setup change. In consideration of these, the extension of the time required for the setup change by removing the unique feeder 226 before the setup change is compared with the reduction of the time required for the mounting work due to the shortened moving distance of the feeder support 224, In order to obtain a high production efficiency, it is determined whether or not the unique feeder 226 is removed before the setup change, and the mounting position of the unique feeder 226 is changed after the setup change.
[0088]
The changed component mounting program is sent to the mounting control computer 318. The host computer 324 also provides feeder mounting position information that is information that associates the component identification code of the electronic circuit component with the mounting position of the feeder holding the electronic circuit component based on the component mounting program. Mounting support information is created and stored in association with the type of the printed wiring board 240, and is sent to the mounting control computer 318 and displayed on the display screen 344. The operator follows the display to the feeder support 224 of the feeder 226. Is installed. At this time, the type of the electronic circuit component is confirmed and the completion of the mounting operation is determined. These are performed in the same manner as in the case of the mass production of the embodiment. Therefore, also in the present embodiment, feeder preparation information and actual mounted feeder information are acquired. When the setup change is completed, the electronic circuit component mounting machine 200 is controlled according to the changed component mounting program, the electronic circuit components are mounted on the printed wiring board 240, and the electronic circuit is assembled. Also in this embodiment, the common feeder 226 remains attached to the feeder support base 224 during setup change during small-quantity production, so that the time required for setup change is short, and production efficiency is improved.
[0089]
In the case where the computer automatically determines the mounting position of the unique feeder after the setup in this way, when the small-scale production is performed after the mass production, the computer is used to supply the electronic circuit components among the plurality of common feeders. The shared feeder is automatically determined by a computer according to a preset rule.
[0090]
In the case of small-volume production, all feeders mounted on the feeder support base to supply the electronic circuit components to be mounted on the wiring board before setup are replaced, regardless of the presence or absence of common electronic circuit components. The feeder holding the electronic circuit components necessary for supplying the electronic circuit components to be mounted on the wiring board after the setup change may be mounted on an arbitrary mounting position of the feeder support base by the operator. In this case, the type of electronic circuit component required for mounting is displayed as mounting support information. The mounting support information is obtained, for example, from electronic circuit information created for the wiring board after the setup change. When the feeder is mounted on the feeder support, the slot number is input and the barcode of the feeder is read to confirm the type of the electronic circuit component, determine the completion of the mounting operation, and create default feeder mounting position information. The operator can mount the feeder arbitrarily. The feeder that searches the mounting position of the feeder from the mounting position information of the component set based on the component mounting program, or holds the electronic circuit component corresponding to the mounting position. The mounting work can be performed more quickly than in the case of searching for and mounting, the time required for setup change can be shortened, and the production efficiency can be improved. Then, the existing component mounting program is changed according to the default feeder mounting position information.
[0091]
Also, the default feeder mounting position information may be created collectively after all the feeders holding necessary electronic circuit components are mounted on the feeder support.
[0092]
Furthermore, even in the case of small-volume production, if a plurality of different feeders supply the same type of electronic circuit components mounted at different mounting positions, for example, the mounting support information may include information indicating the number of feeders. In addition, it is checked whether a necessary number of feeders have been mounted on the feeder support base in addition to whether or not a feeder holding necessary types of electronic circuit components has been mounted on the feeder support base. The mounting support information includes, for example, if a component mounting program has already been created for mounting an electronic circuit component on a printed wiring board after a setup change, the existing component mounting program and a rule created before the setup change. It is created based on the feeder mounting position information.
[0093]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the plurality of feeders of the component supply device are all tape feeders, but all of them may be bulk feeders, or both tape feeders and bulk feeders may be used.
[0094]
As described above, some embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail. However, these are merely examples, and the present invention has been described in the section [Problems to be Solved by the Invention, Problem Solving Means and Effects]. Various modifications and improvements can be made based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art, including the embodiments.
