Abstract
【解決手段】 鉛合金中に含有されるカルシウムが0.05質量%未満である鉛蓄電池用基板が活物質ペーストとの密着性が悪いことに着目し、希硫酸で混練した鉛粉からなる活物質ペーストを基板に塗布充填することで基板表面に緻密な腐食層を形成して基板表面と活物質の密着性を向上させて大電流放電特性を向上すべく、鉛合金中に含有されるカルシウムが0.05質量%未満である鉛蓄電池用基板の表面の十点平均粗さ(Rz)を15μm以上に粗くしたこと。

Claims (5)
- 鉛−カルシウム系鉛合金からなる鉛蓄電池用基板の該合金中のカルシウムが0.05質量%未満であり、かつ基板の表面粗さ(Rz)が15μm以上であることを特徴とする鉛蓄電池用基板。
- 基板が、カルシウム0.02質量%以上0.05質量%未満、スズ0.4質量%以上2.5質量%以下、アルミニウム0.005質量%以上0.04質量%以下、バリウム0.002質量%以上0.014質量%以下、残部が鉛と不可避の不純物からなる鉛合金からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鉛蓄電池用基板。
- 基板が、カルシウム0.02質量%以上0.05質量%未満、スズ0.4質量%以上2.5質量%以下、バリウム0.002質量%以上0.014質量%以下、残部が鉛と不可避の不純物からなる鉛合金からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鉛蓄電池用基板。
- 基板の鉛合金中に更に0.005質量%以上0.07質量%以下の銀、0.01質量%以上0.10質量%以下のビスマス、0.001質量%以上0.05質量%以下のタリウムよりなる群から選ばれた少なくとも一種の元素を含むことを特徴とする請求項2または3記載の鉛蓄電池用基板。
- 請求項1乃至4に記載のいずれかの鉛蓄電池用基板を用いたことを特徴とする鉛蓄電池。
