本発明は、安全且つ正確に垂直な穴あけが出来るハンドドリルに関するものである。

従来のハンドドリルは、チャックあるいはドリル刃の回転部が剥き出しである為、手袋の巻き込み等事故の恐れがあり、子供の工作に使用させるのを躊躇するものである。しかも垂直な穴を開けたい場合勘に頼る作業となる為、手ブレも絡んで正確な穴あけが困難である。

また、波板をフック留めする場合の下穴を開ける時、ポリカ−ボネート等の波板は、刃先が滑りやすく、波板の山の頂点に穴を開けることが困難である。そのためフックを正確な位置に留めることが出来ず、後で外れる原因になる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
解決しようとする問題点は、回転部に触れることによる事故の恐れと、波板の山頂部に穴をあける時に正確な位置決めが難しいこと。また垂直な穴あけが容易でない点である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、モーター、チャック、及びドリル刃を単体ユニットとしてまとめてカバーし、ドリルユニットとすることによって回転部品に触れる危険をなくし、そのドリルユニットが穴あけ対象物に対して垂直に、本体上をスライドすることにより穴あけが可能となる構造を持ち、波板型のベースプレートを取付けることにより、波板の山の頂点に正確に穴あけが出来ることを主要な特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
取っ手を設けた本体の中にバッテリーとドリルユニットを収めた。本体を平面上に置いた場合、ドリルユニットが平面に対して垂直にスライドする構造を持ち、ドリルユニットを押し下げることにより電源スイッチが入りドリル刃が回り、さらに押し下げれば平面に垂直な穴を開けることが出来る。手を離しばねの反発力でドリルユニットが上方に戻ることでスイッチが切れる構造とした。またドリルユニット上部から本体にかけて、防水と脱落防止を目的としたゴムブーツをかぶせた。

【実施例】
図4においてドリルユニット1を押し下げることによりスイッチ3が入りドリル8刃が回り始める。さらに押し下げることにより対象物12に穴が開く。手を離すとばね9の反発力でドリルユニット1が元に戻りスイッチ3が切れる。叉、滑りやすい波板の山頂部に穴をあける場合、図1に示す波板型ベースプレート11を取付ける事により、ドリルを波板の上に置くだけで正確な位置決めが出来、ドリル刃が滑ることで穴の位置がずれたり、穴が斜めに開いたりする心配が無くなる。2はゴムブーツ、4はモーター、5はバッテリーボックス及びバッテリー、6は本体及び取っ手、7はベースプレート、10はチャック、である。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明の安定型ドリルは安全且つ容易に垂直の穴あけをすることが出来、子供の工作等に使用させても安心である。仕事で使用する場合も刃先が滑りやすい波板の頂点への穴あけが簡単である。また使用せずに置いておく場合も、形が安定しておりドリル刃も収納されている為、転がり落ちたり刃が折れたりする危険性が低い為安心である。
