Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas density measurement method, and more particularly to a gas density measurement method using a microflow sensor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, as a city gas supply business, due to cost competition with the electricity supply business, it is expected that there will be considerable fluctuations in the composition and heat quantity of the gas supplied when the era of straight supply and consignment of natural gas is entered. Is done. If this happens, it will also affect the combustion of industrial furnaces and burners, and it is expected that performance will deteriorate and product defects will occur. As one measure to prevent this, it is necessary to determine the adaptability between the supplied gas and the gas appliance using a predetermined index. For this purpose, it is necessary to accurately measure the density of the gas. is there.
[0003]
As the gas density meter, for example, upon receiving a density periodic signal from a vibro gas density meter utilizing the fact that the resonance frequency of the thin-film cylinder changes depending on the surrounding gas density or a vibration tube type density meter, the density and specific gravity of the gas are measured. There are known density calculators that calculate the above, etc., but all of them have a large structure, are complicated, have poor responsiveness, and are very expensive.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in order to solve this problem, the present applicant tried to use a known microflow sensor for gas density measurement, and was attached to a pocket portion formed on the inner wall of the gas flow path through which the gas to be measured passes. We succeeded in obtaining the gas density using temperature detection signals output from multiple thermopiles included in the microflow sensor, but it is desired to measure the gas density with high accuracy over a wider span. Yes.
[0007]
Therefore, in view of the above-described present situation, the present invention uses a microflow sensor and is a simple method, and even when the span range of the gas to be measured is wide, it is possible to accurately measure the gas density. It is an object to provide a density measuring method.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The gas density measuring method according to
[0009]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, among the temperature detection signals respectively output from the plurality of thermopiles included in the microflow sensor attached to the pocket portion formed in the inner wall of the gas flow path through which the gas to be measured passes. The relationship between the sensor output value obtained from at least one of the above and the density of the measured gas is based on the span range of the measured gas, and the sensor output value and the inverse density of the measured gas are in a linear relationship. The first form to be selected or the second form in which the sensor output value and the density of the gas to be measured are in a linear relationship is selected, and the selected form is selected. Since the density of the gas to be measured is obtained from the sensor output value, the density of the gas to be measured can be obtained without using a complex approximation just by using a linear regression equation. It becomes possible.

The basic performance of the microflow sensor having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B are diagrams showing the relationship between the thermal conductivity and the output of the left thermopile (TP).
[0023]
Here, the left-side thermopile is arranged in a direction substantially orthogonal to the gas flow direction as described with reference to FIG. The right side thermopile exhibits the same characteristics as the left side thermopile. The left thermopile and the right thermopile are arranged so as to be substantially orthogonal to the gas flow direction. As shown in FIGS. 2 (A) and 2 (B), it can be seen that there is a linear relationship between the thermal conductivity and the outputs of the left and right thermopiles, whether or not there is a flow.
[0024]
Focusing on such characteristics, gas density measurement using a microflow sensor becomes possible. FIG. 3A is a schematic cross-sectional view according to the gas density measuring method of the present invention, and FIG. 3B is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the pocket portion of FIG.

By the way, according to the gas density measuring method using the above configuration, depending on the span range, the sensor output can be more linearly approximated with respect to the density itself, and can be more linearly approximated with respect to the inverse density. There is. This will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0038]
5 (A) and 5 (B) are graphs showing the relationship between sensor output, density, and inverse density when the span range is relatively wide. FIGS. 6 (A) and 6 (B) It is a graph which shows the relationship between a sensor output in case a span range is comparatively narrow, a density, and a density inverse number. In FIGS. 5A and 5B, the sensor output is shown as the output voltage value of the left thermopile, and in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the sensor output is converted into an output current value. As shown. In FIGS. 6A and 6B, R represents an actual value, and L represents a linear regression line.
[0039]
As shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, when the span range of the gas to be measured is relatively wide, the sensor output can be more linearly approximated with respect to the reciprocal density than with the density itself. I know that there is. On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, when the span range of the gas to be measured is relatively narrow, the sensor output can be more linearly approximated with respect to the density itself than with the inverse density. It can be seen that it is.
[0040]
Paying attention to such characteristics, whether the sensor output is linearly approximated by the density itself or the reciprocal density depending on the span range of the gas to be measured is output

In step S2 when a trigger is received, first, a control signal for switching the switches SW1 and SW2 is generated based on a trigger input by a telegram, a switch, a jumper, or the like. , SW2. The switches SW1 and SW2 are switched in response to the control signal, thereby changing the amplification factors of the amplifiers AMP5 and AMP6. This control is performed by the amplification
[0044]
Next, in step S3, the first output form (corresponding to the first form of claims) is selected, and the density of the gas to be measured is obtained based on this. This first output form is for complementing and calculating the density of the gas to be measured from the sensor output value on the assumption that the sensor output value and the inverse density of the gas to be measured have a linear relationship (see FIG. 5B). It is. This control is performed by the output

On the other hand, in step S4 when there is no trigger reception, it is determined whether the A / D conversion value from the A /

In step S5, the second output form (corresponding to the second form of the claims) is selected, and the density of the gas to be measured is obtained based on this. This second output mode is for complementing and calculating the density of the gas to be measured from the sensor output value on the assumption that the sensor output value and the density of the gas to be measured have a linear relationship (see FIG. 6A). is there. This control is performed by the output

As described above, since the first mode or the second mode is automatically selected based on the output value from the A /
[0048]
Furthermore, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 8 is a circuit configuration diagram according to another embodiment of the present invention. The circuit configuration diagram shown in FIG. 8 is similar to the circuit configuration diagram shown in FIG. 4. Here, in the components shown in FIG. 4, resistors Rx and Ry, switches SW1 and SW2, and
[0049]
Here, based on the span range of the gas to be measured, resistors R1, R2, R3, R4, etc. are adjusted to prepare a device in which a predetermined amplification constant is set in advance, and the actual span range of the gas to be measured Based on the above, a device having an appropriate amplification constant is selected. However, also in FIG. 8, the
[0050]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the gas density can be accurately measured even when the span range of the gas to be measured is wide or narrow even though it is a simple method using a microflow sensor. It becomes possible.

In addition, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment, In the range which does not deviate from the main point, it can change suitably. For example, a straight pipe portion may be provided on the downstream side of the
[0052]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the output from each of the plurality of thermopiles included in the microflow sensor attached to the pocket portion formed in the inner wall of the gas flow path through which the gas to be measured passes is provided. The relationship between the sensor output value obtained from at least one of the detected temperature signals and the density of the gas to be measured is based on the span range of the gas to be measured, and the sensor output value and the inverse density of the gas to be measured. Of the first form in which the sensor output value is in a linear relationship or the second form in which the sensor output value and the density of the gas to be measured are in a linear relationship is selected. Since the selected form is used to determine the density of the gas to be measured from the sensor output value, it is possible to use only a linear regression equation without complicated approximation. It is possible to determine the density of constant gas.
[0053]
According to the second aspect of the invention, the first mode is selected when the span range of the gas to be measured is relatively wide, and the second mode is selected when the span range of the gas to be measured is relatively narrow. Therefore, the density can be accurately measured regardless of whether the span range of the gas to be measured is wide or narrow.
[0054]
According to the third aspect of the invention, the first form or the second form is selected after setting or canceling the amplification constant of the amplifier that amplifies the sensor output value based on the predetermined trigger. It becomes possible to measure the density well.
[0055]
According to the invention described in
[0056]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, when the density of the gas to be measured is assumed to be about 0.6 to 2.5, the first mode is selected, and the density of the gas to be measured is 0.7 to 1. Since the second mode is selected when it is assumed to be about 1, the density of the gas to be measured can be obtained with higher accuracy in accordance with the actual situation.
