本発明は、例えば小型デジタルカメラ等に用いて好適な撮影レンズに関する。

従来、例えばデジタルカメラ等に用いられる撮影レンズとしては、画面に対して光線入射角を垂直入射にさせやすく光学性能に優れるレンズタイプのものが用いられている。

このような撮影レンズとしては、例えばレトロフォーカスタイプの小型短焦点レンズがある。このレトロフォーカスタイプの撮影レンズは、一般的に最も被写体寄りの面が凸面になっており、例えばバックフォーカスが長くなり、対角線角度を大きくできるといった特徴を持っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、レトロフォーカスタイプの撮影レンズでは、光学性能が良好になるものの、上述したようにバックフォーカスが長くなるといった特徴を有していることから、全長、いわゆる鏡筒が長くなってしまうといった欠点がある。

そこで、本発明はこのような従来の事情に鑑みて提案されたものであり、優れた光学性能を備えつつ、鏡筒が短い小型の撮影レンズを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この目的を達成する本発明に係る撮影レンズは、被写体側から像面側に向かって順番に配置された第1のレンズ乃至第5のレンズで構成され、被写体側が凹面とされた第1のレンズと、被写体側が凸面にされ、少なくとも一方の面が非球面に形成された第2のレンズと、像面側が凹面にされた第3のレンズと、被写体側が凸面とされ、この凸面が第3のレンズの像面側の凹面に貼り合わされている第4のレンズと、被写体側が凸面とされ、少なくとも一方の面が非球面に形成された第5のレンズとを有することを特徴としている。

以上のように構成された本発明に係る撮影レンズによれば、第1のレンズの被写体側が凹面とされていることにより、レンズのバックフォーカスを確保しながら、第1のレンズと第2のレンズとの間の距離を短くさせる。また、この撮影レンズによれば、第2のレンズ及び第3のレンズが、少なくとも一方の面を非球面としていることにより、例えば球面収差を抑えた像を像面に結像させる。したがって、この撮影レンズでは、鏡筒を短くし、且つ、光学性能を良好に保つことができる。

実施の形態として図1に示した撮影レンズ1は、被写体側から像面W側に向かって順に、第1のレンズ2、第2のレンズ3、第3のレンズ4、第4のレンズ5、第5のレンズ6が配置された構成になっている。また、この撮影レンズ1は、第2のレンズ3と第3のレンズ4との間に絞り7が配置され、第5のレンズ6の後段側に水晶ダミーガラス8、視感度補正ガラス9、カバーガラス10がこの順番で配置されている。
