本発明は、ロール状に巻きつけたトイレットペーパーの終端近傍に、芳香を付与するための芳香剤を付与したトイレットペーパーロールに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、トイレットの臭気消臭用としては、固形の防臭剤や、種々の芳香を持たせた芳香剤を紐あるいは網で吊り下げたり、通気孔を設けたケースに納めたもの等があり、その消臭のために芳香剤あるいは消臭剤が使用されている。

しかしながら、上記従来の消臭剤は自ずと空気中に発散して消耗し消臭効果が薄れるので、新規の消臭剤と交換したり、消臭剤の補充をしなければならず、取扱が面倒であるという問題があった。

そこで、上記の問題を解決するため、トイレットペーパーロール自体に芳香効果を持たせることが採られてきており、例えば実開昭５５−７７４９３号の芳香効果を有するトイレットペーパーロールの考案、実開昭５６−１１１８９０号のトイレットペーパーの防臭剤コーティングの考案、実開昭６０−１９１２９４号のトイレットペーパーの中芯の考案および実開昭６４−２８１９４号のロール式トイレットペーパー用紙管の考案、さらには、特開昭６３−２８２４００号のロール式トイレットペーパーの製造方法および特開平１１−１９７０５４号の香料入りロール式トイレットペーパー用紙管とトイレットペーパー包装体の発明等においては、トイレットペーパーをロール状に巻きつける紙管に芳香剤や消臭剤等を付与しているものが開示されている。

しかしながら、このように紙管に芳香剤等を塗布、またはコーティングさせたり、含浸させるために特別なそれらの付与手段や工程が必要となり、それがトイレットペーパーのコスト高の一因になっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、紙管に芳香剤等を付与するための特別な手段や工程を要せずに、ペーパーロール全体にソフトな香りを放つトイレットペーパーロールを提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、紙管にトイレットペーパーをロール状に巻きつけ、その巻きつけたトイレットペーパーの終端近傍に、芳香剤を加えた接着剤を付与したトイレットペーパーロールからなり、また本発明は、紙管にトイレットペーパーをロール状に巻きつけ、その巻きつけたトイレットペーパーの終端近傍に、芳香剤と接着剤とを別々に付与したトイレットペーパーロールからなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態を説明するが、図１は本発明のトイレットペーパーロールの一実施形態における概略斜視図である。

まず、図１のトイレットペーパーロール１は、その芯材となる中空の円筒形状を有する紙管２の外周にトイレットペーパー３を巻きつけたものであり、トイレットなどで使用時には、その紙管２の内側に、図示されていないペーパー取付け器具に支持された支持棒を挿入して、トイレットペーパー３の終端５から引き出して使用するものである。なお、上記の支持棒を使用せずにペーパー取付け器具に適切に設けられた別の支持部材などで紙管２の内側を回動自在に直接保持する形式のものもある。

次に、上記のトイレットペーパーロール１は、製造時に紙管２に巻きつけたトイレットペーパー３の終端５の近傍に図１のごとく接着剤６を付与して軽く接着しているが、本発明ではその接着剤６に芳香剤７を加えており、これにより接着剤６から芳香性物質が放出され、包装紙で包まれている段階ではトイレットペーパーロール１全体を芳香が包み込むようにしている。

この芳香剤７としては、一般に市場に出ている香料、着香料、消臭剤等でトイレット内にその香りが持続してトイレット内の悪臭が感じられなくなるようなものを使用する。

次に、図２は本発明の他の実施形態におけるトイレットペーパーロール１を示しており、図１とほぼ同様な構成からなっており、それぞれ同じ部品は同じ符号で示しているが、図２の実施形態では、紙管２に巻きつけたトイレットペーパー３の終端５近傍に、芳香剤７と接着剤６を別々に付与したものであり、これにより図１と同様な効果を持たせている。

上記図１及び図２のトイレットペーパーロール１は工場で製造された時、１個ずつ香りが放散しない材料の包装紙でラッピングされて貯蔵され、出荷され、消費者に配送される間に、芳香剤７は包装紙の内部で放散して、トイレットペーパー３及び紙管２全体にその香りが自然に伝播し、トイレット内でこの包装紙を除去して使用することにより、それまでにトイレットペーパーロール１全体に浸透した芳香が放散され、その後はトイレットペーパー全体に浸透した芳香が放散され続けられる。

【発明の効果】
以上に説明した本発明のトイレットペーパーロールによれば、従来のごとき紙管に芳香剤を付与するためのような特別な手段や、工程が不要となり、しかも従来から紙管２にトイレットペーパー３を巻きつけて、その終端近傍に接着剤を付与していたその接着剤付与手段を利用できるのでコスト低減に大いに寄与できる。

また、接着剤と芳香剤とを別々にトイレットペーパーの巻きつけ終端近傍に付与する場合は、ただ単に従来から使用している接着剤付与手段の近傍に芳香剤付与手段を並設するだけで達成できるという利点を有する。

さらに本発明では従来の方法とちがい、トイレットペーパーの最外側に芳香剤を付与するようにしたために、トイレットペーパーロールが包装されて運搬、貯蔵している段階で芳香がトイレットペーパーの外側から中心方向に伝播されるので、トイレットペーパー全体にわたってソフトに芳香が浸透し、きつくない香料が全体にわたって付与されるので心地よい香りを最後まで持続させることができる。
