Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a volume control device mounted on an audio terminal device and performing volume control.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, mobile phones do not bother others when receiving telephone calls or e-mails in places where there are a large number of people, such as in a train, or in places that should be quiet, such as in a theater. So manner mode is prepared.
[0003]
In general, when the mobile phone is set to the manner mode, the ring tone of the mobile phone is turned off, and instead of the ring tone, the mobile phone itself vibrates with the incoming call, and also, it is possible to talk even with a small voice. The sensitivity of the microphone of the mobile phone can be increased. The manner mode is set by a manual operation of the user.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional mobile phone, if the user forgets to set the manner mode, a ringtone sounds when a call or e-mail is received, or a loud call is made, which makes the surrounding people uncomfortable. There was a problem that would be.
[0005]
Also, like a mobile phone, a portable music player (for example, an MP3 player, etc.) becomes so enthusiastic about the music that the user himself loses his or her attention to the sound leaking from the headphones. There was a problem that it made us feel uncomfortable.
[0006]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a volume control device and a program that can appropriately adjust the volume or input sensitivity of a voice terminal device in accordance with the surrounding environment in order to solve the above problems. .
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An invention according to claim 1 for achieving the above object is a volume control device mounted on a voice terminal device for outputting voice and controlling a volume of the voice terminal device, wherein the volume control device is located within a predetermined range. Detecting means for detecting an external device to perform, based on a detection result of the detecting means, determining whether volume adjustment of the audio terminal device is necessary, and determining that volume adjustment is necessary, determining a volume of the audio terminal device. And control means for performing volume control for adjusting the volume.
[0008]
In the volume control device configured as described above, the detection unit detects an external device existing within a predetermined range, and the control unit determines whether the volume adjustment of the audio terminal device is necessary based on the detection result of the detection unit. Is determined, and if it is determined that volume control is necessary, the volume of the voice terminal device is adjusted.
[0009]
Then, for example, the detection unit is set to detect a mobile phone or a portable music playback device that has become widespread in recent years, and when the detection unit detects these external devices, the volume of the audio terminal device is reduced, Alternatively, if the control means is set to be turned off, the volume of the voice terminal device can be reduced or turned off in an environment where there are people around. As a result, it is possible to reliably prevent the surrounding people from feeling uncomfortable due to the volume of the audio terminal device.
[0010]
That is, according to the present invention, it is possible to appropriately adjust the volume of the audio terminal device according to the surrounding environment.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a volume control device mounted on a voice terminal device for inputting voice and controlling an input sensitivity of the voice terminal device, wherein the volume control device detects an external device present in a predetermined range. Detecting means for determining whether the input sensitivity of the voice terminal device needs to be adjusted based on the detection result of the detecting means, and determining that the input sensitivity needs to be adjusted, the input sensitivity of the voice terminal device is determined. And control means for performing volume control for adjustment.
[0011]
In the volume control device configured as described above, the detecting means detects an external device present within a predetermined range, and the control means adjusts the input sensitivity of the voice terminal device based on the detection result of the detecting means. If the necessity is determined and it is determined that the input sensitivity needs to be adjusted, the input sensitivity of the voice terminal device is adjusted.
[0012]
Then, similarly to the first aspect of the present invention, the detecting means is set to detect a mobile phone or a portable music reproducing apparatus, and when the detecting means detects these external devices, the input sensitivity of the voice terminal apparatus is set. If the control means is set to amplify the input signal, the input sensitivity of the voice terminal device can be amplified in an environment where a human is present in the surroundings. As a result, it is possible to reliably input the voice to the voice terminal device even in an environment where only a small voice can be used so as not to make the surrounding people uncomfortable.
[0013]
That is, according to the present invention, the input sensitivity of the audio terminal device can be appropriately adjusted according to the surrounding environment.
Here, the control means may be set so as to exclude the external device designated in advance from the determination target.
[0014]
In this case, for example, if an external device fixed in an office or the like is specified in advance, even if the detecting unit detects the fixed external device instead of the external device carried by a human, the control unit will It is possible to prevent volume control of the audio terminal device. In addition, for example, if an external device installed in a home or a portable external device owned by a family is specified in advance, it is not always necessary to control the volume as in a home. In spite of this, it is possible to prevent the control means from adjusting the volume of the voice terminal device or amplifying the input sensitivity.
[0015]
That is, according to the present invention, the volume control of the audio terminal device can be performed according to the surrounding environment more appropriately.
The control means may be configured to count the number of the external devices detected by the detection means and to perform the volume control when the number of the external devices reaches a predetermined value. It may be.
[0016]
In this case, the control means may adjust the volume of the voice terminal device or amplify the input sensitivity in an environment where it is considered that there are only a few external devices and only a few people around. Can be prevented. That is, the same effect as the third aspect can be obtained.
[0017]
The control means may be set to operate at a predetermined timing.
That is, each time a predetermined timing (for example, a predetermined time interval) arrives, the volume control of the voice terminal device can be performed only when necessary.
[0018]
Specifically, when the audio terminal device is a mobile phone, for example, at least one of an incoming call and an outgoing call may be set as the timing.
Further, when the audio terminal device comprises a portable music reproducing device, for example, the time when an operation signal is detected or the time when a transition of music is detected during music reproduction is determined as described in
[0019]
Here, the detecting means includes a wireless network establishing means for establishing a wireless network by wirelessly communicating with the external device, and via the wireless network established by the wireless network establishing means. The communication device may be configured to detect the communicable external device.
[0020]
The wireless communication between the wireless network constructing means and the external device may be performed based on, for example, the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard.
That is, since devices that perform wireless communication based on the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard are widely used, the present invention can be easily applied.
[0021]
In addition, in the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard, since the communication distance is set short (about 10 m), it is possible to detect even a remote external device and control the volume control of the voice terminal device.
In this case, it is preferable that the control unit handles the external device having a specific profile among the external devices detected by the detection unit as a determination target, and performs the volume control.
[0022]
That is, in the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard, various profiles defining the specifications such as a communication protocol and a user interface are prepared according to an application to which the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard is applied, and therefore, the profile is installed in an external device. The type of the external device can be specified by identifying the type of the profile being performed.
[0023]
An external device equipped with an intercom profile (Intercom Profile) for implementing one-to-one wireless communication and a headset profile (Headset Profile) for implementing voice data transmission has a wireless communication function. Therefore, the volume control of the audio terminal device can be performed only when the mobile phone or the portable music reproducing device is detected.
[0024]
Each of the means constituting the volume control device according to any one of claims 1 to 10 may be configured as a program for causing a computer to function as described in claim 11.
In this case, the program is stored in a computer-readable recording medium such as an FD, MO, DVD, CD-ROM, hard disk, or memory card, and the stored program is loaded into a computer system as needed. It can be used by starting. Alternatively, the program may be recorded on a ROM or a backup RAM as a computer-readable recording medium, and the ROM or the backup RAM may be incorporated in a computer system and used. Further, the program is not limited to the one recorded on the recording medium, and may be used by loading and starting via a network.
[0025]

In the present embodiment, a new process is added to the mobile phone 1 of the first embodiment, and the manner of determining the manner mode is partially different, but the device configuration of the mobile phone 1 (see FIG. 1) is completely the same. is there. Therefore, here, only the newly added processing and the manner mode determination processing will be described in detail, and the description of the same processing as in the first embodiment will be omitted.
[0047]
First, in the present embodiment, the mobile phone 1 includes a database for registering the IDs of the external devices individually in the memory 11, and the IDs of the external devices are registered in this database in advance. In the manner mode determination process, even if an external device registered in the database responds, the profile of the external device is not checked.

According to the mobile phone of the present embodiment configured as described above, as shown in FIG. 7, the wireless communication area of the mobile phone 1 (portion surrounded by a broken line in the figure) is based on the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard. Even if there are a variety of external devices that perform wireless communication with each other, if the ID of an external device that is not the target of the manner mode determination process is registered in advance, the manner mode may not necessarily be set. Regardless, it is possible to prevent the mobile phone 1 from being set to the manner mode.
[0057]
In the present embodiment, the
[0058]
For example, in the second embodiment, when the number of detected external devices reaches the specified number, the determination result is set to the manner mode. However, the ID of the external device is registered in the database in advance as in the third embodiment. In addition, the manner mode determination processing may be set so that the external device registered in the database is not counted. If the number of external devices does not reach the specified number, the profile of the responding external device is checked, and if at least one of the external devices has the target profile, the determination result is set to the manner mode. May be set to a manner mode determination process.
[0059]
Further, in the above embodiment, the mobile phone 1 performs processing such as confirmation and determination of the manner mode at the time of receiving a telephone call or e-mail or at the time of making a telephone call. The mobile phone 1 may be set to start checking or determining the mode.
[0060]
In this case, the process may proceed to a manner mode setting process after a manner mode confirmation process as shown in FIG.
That is, as shown in FIG. 8, when an IQ packet is received from an external device (S610), an FHS packet is transmitted and a response is made (S620). Then, an ID packet is transmitted to the external device, and an inquiry about a profile mounted on the external device is made (S630). After receiving the FHS packet from the external device (S640) and confirming that the external device has the target profile, the process proceeds to a manner mode setting process (S650).
[0061]
Further, in the above embodiment, the present invention is applied to a mobile phone, but the present invention may be applied to, for example, a portable music playback device provided with a Bluetooth (registered trademark) communication terminal device.
In this case, the process may proceed to the manner mode setting process through the process shown in FIG.
[0062]
That is, when an operation signal from a remote controller or the like operating the music reproducing device is detected (S710), an IQ packet is broadcast (S720). When the FHS packet is received from the external device (S730), an ID packet is transmitted to inquire about the profile mounted on the external device (S740). The FHS packet is received again from the external device (S750), the profile installed is confirmed, and if the external device has the target profile, the manner mode setting process such as reducing the volume of the headphones is performed. (S760). Note that, in addition to the detection of the operation signal, the above process may be started at the time of detecting a transition of music during music reproduction.
[0063]
In the above-described embodiment, the mobile phone 1 performs wireless communication with an external device based on the Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard to detect the external device. However, for example, the universal plug and play (UPnP) ) May be used to detect an external device.
